A critical time in the life of Morning Solitude (Sully), a 19-year-old blank flank. Although talented and a quick learner, still he has not found his true calling and after dropping out of college, he struggles with despair. During this time, however, he meets the unicorn hermit Snow Perch completely by accident who may turn out to be the only real friend he's had in a long time and although Snow Perch may have much more experience than Sully partly due to being 13 years older, could Sully even comprehend Snow Perch's wisdom or for that matter have the courage to put them into practice? Or is Sully doomed to rot away emotionally inside of a comfortable quagmire?
