In the world of Equestria, two brave and noble sister alicorns ruled over Canterlot. The Sun princess, Celestia and the Moon princess, Luna. When the day had come, Princess Twilight Sparkle became the princess of Friendship and was given a kingdom with her and her noble friends. Everypony lived in harmony until some ponies thought if alicorns could live forever maybe they could create something so other ponies could do the same.
Two ponies, a unicorn stallion, Dr. HealTouch and a unicorn mare, Nurse Medical Light started to use dark magic that was forbiddoned to create the Alicorn Life Spell.
Dr. HealTouch and Nurse Medical Light created their first sample of the Spell in a liquid type substance but first they needed a test subject so they used rabbits, a typical animal used for testing, nothing seemed to happen to the animals. But when word got out that the duo was using animals they were told to stop and stopped they did, for all they needed were ponies to test out. So they choice random ponies from ponyville to help their project but the ponies didnt know they were being used for testing.
"Hello," Vinyl Scratch yawned answering the phone
"Hello, Famous Pony" a male voice was heard on the other end, " you have been invited to sign a record deal for your amazing DJ works."
"ARE. YOU. SERIOUS!!" Vinyl was heard on the line cheering " this is so awesome! where do I have to go?!"
"You must go to Manehatten, by tonight at the Bucking Record Studios on Main Street"
"Tonight? Oh well that's such short noticed an-"
"You will be escorted by my worker and all you have to do is follow him and his instructions" the male caller instructed to the white DJ.
Vinyl finally gave in "Okay, I'll do it, you won't be dissapointed by my works" Vinyl then hung up and got her things packed
By the afternoon Vinyl had all she needed to go to Manehatten, she walked to the train station when she noticed a Dark Olive stallion with no cutie mark waiting. Vinyl slowly walked over and it caught the stallion's eyes makin her jump lightly.
"You must be Vinyl Scratch" the voice was low and raspy " I am Nocuma" he introduced himself " I will be escorting you to Bucking Record Studios."
Vinyl just nodded her head and saw the stallion picking up her bags, taking them in the train. The white mare followed watching Nocuma sit down as she sat across from him.
The train ride was so quiet and awkward Nocuma often stared out the window for so long, not even blinking. The train finally had stopped in Manehatten, the olive stallion tooked Vinyl's bags and called for a taxi. She got in the taxi but her escorter didnt follow, the taxi took off taking her to her destination.
Arriving at the building it didnt look like a studio, it just looked like a tall empty building. Vinyl walked in noticing no one inside.
"Am I in the wrong building?" She whispered
"No, youre in the right place" a white and red mare came out with a sergical needle and a heart as her cutimark.
Vinyl looked at the mare in confusion " are you one of the ponies that signed a deal with Bucking Record Studios?"
The mare smiled " No, deary. I am the wife of the Bucking Record Studios director. Come with me."
The red and white mare walked into two doors and Vinyl followed, she then noticed two buff stallions standing behind them, following. Vinyl gulped and followed closer to the other mare they then stopped as Vinyl saw a metal door.
The mare opened it and smiled "please step inside for your next instructions."
Vinyl walked inside noticing Octavia, Lyra Heartstrings, Derpy, and Big Macintosh. The door was slammed closed and all what was inside was a white room. The white mare looked all around and saw a window she looked back at the other four and saw nothing but sadness.
"You've been tricked Vinyl" Lyra sighed before the DJ mare could get a word out
"We all have been tricked" Octavia said as she laid down
All five then heard a click then a voice, the same voice that was heard over the phone.
"Welcome, ponies. You have all been sent here to help me with my project."
"What kind of project would that be?" Big Mac grunted out standing up
"My wife and I, have created a spell that could make ponies have alicorn aging." The stallion responded
"Alicorn aging? But thats a crime against pony history?" Vinyl called out
"It does not matter what you think, you are all my toys and toys must do what their masters say."
"I'd rather have my back leg blown off before I try any of your spells!" Lyra called out
A chuckle was then heard "is that so?"
A robotic unlicking sound was heard and the ponies looked around. A blast came from one of the corners and suddenly Lyra's back leg was blown off flying across the room. The mare screamed in pain falling to the ground shaking. The others stared wide eyed as Lyra laied in a small pool of her leg blood. Vinyl ran over and tried to stop the bleeding but only caused her hooves to be drenched in blood.
"Anypony else want to test me?" The stallion asked
No pony spoke up only Lyra's cries and whimpers were heard. They heard an unlinking sound again and they all panicked looking around. A small glass of gooey red liquid was seen distributed into five glasses on a table. Lyra panted and looked at the glasses she gritted her teeth. Derpy walked over to one of glasses and drank a small bit, her body shivered then she drank the rest. Every pony just stood and stared at Derpy, the gray mare looked around smacking her lips then looked at them. The wall-eyed gray pony gave a goofy smiled then her eye balls popped put of her skull, causing the others the scream. Derpy called out in pain as blood poured from her mouth, ears, and nose. Derpy spreaded her wings but the feathers and skin melted off leaving nothing but bone. She started to throw her heard around causing her eye balls to disconnect and fall to the ground, she cried out in pain then fell to the ground with silence. The others tears poured down their faces and stared in fear as their once friend became a dead corpse.
"It seems no talent ponies cant live forever" The stallion spoke " Octavia, maybe a brilliant earth pony like you could take the spell."
"Tavi, no!" Vinyl yelled and stepped in front of her.
"Vinyl" she sighed and hugged her mare friend " we're the best of friends and If I take this spell and survive we can go home."
" or. End up. Like. Derpy" Lyra panted
"We don't really have much of a choice, now do we" Octavia said walking past Vinyl taking the glass.
Vinyl stepped back watching her best friend drink the liquid. Octavia groaned and she started to shake, she threw her body backwards and laid on the ground as her stomache began to swell. Vinyl was held back by Big Mac, as Octavia drooled out a green substance her stomache then exploded covering them all in stinky green goo. Only Octavia's lower half was left, Vinyl cried out and covered her eyes.
No pony seemed to notice Derpy twitching, she lifted her head and growled. She got up and limped over to the three still alive, Big Mac heard the growl and turned as Derpy tried to bite the stallion. Big Mac threw the eyeless pony into the wall but that didnt stop her, she got up and ran to him. He jumped out of the way and Derpy slammed against the wall she growled and gurgled.
"Cover your alls eyes, quickly" Big Mac yelled out
The two mares closed their eyes and all was heard was a giant stomp and something being crushed. They opened their eyes seeing Big Mac with a hoof on once was Derpy's head. The body stopped twitching and Big Mac was covered in the mare's blood he walked over to the farthest corner and sat down.
Lyra crawled over and drank the liquid before Vinyl could stop her, Lyra looked at Vinyl and blood dripped from her eyes. She stood up and started to laugh, she smiled big and turned to see the gun that shot her leg off. She grinned and bounced off the walls grabbing the gun, trying to pull it off its hoister. Lyra eventually got it out and she fell to the ground, the mare used her magic to lift the shot gun and screamed with laughter. Vinyl watched as the music pony cocked the shot gun and put in her mouth, with one click of the trigger Lyra's brain colored the white wall. The body of the mare fell to the ground and Vinyl whimpered sitting down. She looked over at Big Mac who remained silent, the mare looked at the window.
" it seems pony kind wasn't ready for my creation, you two will remain in this room until further notice," the stallion commented
Vinyl panted heavily then suddenly vomited from the smell of corpses. The stallion in the corner stared down at the bite on his leg his body felt weak and sick. Vinyl laied down on her side breathing heavily as Big Mac groaned at the pain in his stomache. The mare looked at Big Mac with half lidded eyes, the stallion's muscles grew larger and he roared.
Vinyl got up in an panic and slammed on the door, "LET ME OUT! PLEASE! Celestia's mercy please let me out!!"
The once Big Mac turned and stared at the white mare, she cried out as he roared and ran over to her. With all his force the stallion slammed his body into Vinyl causing her to cough up blood. He grabbed the mare by neck and threw her against wall, it nearly broke every bone in the mares' body. The stallion ran over and did it over and over until Vinyl's bones were all broken, she cried in pain and her heart slowed down. Big Mac walked over to the barely alived mare and started to rip out her insides and ate her alive, Vinyl screamed one last time and died.
The enraged stallion slammed against the metal denting it, Dr. HealTouch panic and called out on the microphone.
"Guards, everypony to sector 2! Stop that stallion! Don't hold back fire, I want that monster dead!" His voice was in a panic but still brave
Every pony guard had their guns ready as the door began to dent more and more. The slamming suddenly stopped and Dr. HealTouch stood behind three bodyguard ponies. The door suddenly flew open crushing some of ponies, the guards started to open fire, the huge stallion ran into the crowd of gun fire ponies crushing their head with his huge hooves. He threw and tossed them around, Dr. HealTouch was guided out the building and a pyro pony set the building a blaze. The stallion inside slammed through the walls then reach outside, ponies of Manehatten panicked and screamed running away. The muscle stallion roared and was shot in the head, but it didnt take him down. Nurse Medical Light was inside the burning building she coughed as smoke filled her lungs, she looked around then saw a pony on fire walking towards her groaning. She backed up then felt another body, she turned around and suddenly a wet long thing clenched around her body. She cried out for help and screamed she looked over to she filly with huge fangs the small one started to chew the Nurse's face off. Medical Light was then eaten alive by the massacre the pony eating zombies.
Dr. HealTouch cried lightly and saw what his spell was doing to the ponies, he eventually called them the Undead. He started telling everypony to get out of Manehatten, get out of Equestria. The Undead or Infected was mass spreading and no one could stop it, not even the Princesses could stop this. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, and Princess Twilight tried to evacuate the pony citizens but some were left behind.
This is where the story begins, one year after the outbreak of the infection. We meet four ponies who were told about a safe place they could go and live their lives.
Our first pony is a unicorn mare, she has a maroon body with white hair, her cutiemark is a dynamite with an explosion in the background. She is known by the name of Boom Blast she worked with her father in the mines and was taught how to make dynamite. She was working when this all happened she managed to escaped but she had to leave her mining family behind to die, she had no choice.
The second pony, is a blue earth pony colt with darker blue markings with a red mohawk mane and small tail. His cutie mark with a smiley face with 'x' out eyes and bulled hole in the head. He is known by his buddies as TriggerHappy. He loves rifles and shot guns and when exicited about killing, he goes wild shooting the target until the barrel is empty. He was at shooting practice when the infected arrived, he survived with minor wounds but had to kill his best friend when he was bit.
The third pony, is an stallion earth pony who doesnt speak every much. He is a dark purple pony with gray mane and tail in a ponytail. His cutie mark is a sword with two ribbon strings coming from the handle. He wields a long katana and likes to be called Ranger but his full name is Close Range.
The last pony isnt a pony at all, its a pegasi zebra. Working as a doctor he knows his way around the Medical Room. He is white with pink stripes light gray mane and tail with red stripes through those. His cutie mark is a hospital plus sign with stars around it, his name is BrokenMeds. He was helping patients evacuate but he was told to stay behind by the Wonderbolts Emergency and Defense Agency(WEDA) and was told thwy will be back for him. But they never did come back in fact he never heard from them ever again.
The four will have to work together to survive and reach the safe zone. Here is their story.
"Everypony stay calm and stay in your home" a loud repeating intercom was heard "the WEDA, Wonderbolts Emergency and Defense Agency will be to your home to take you to the Safe Zone." The intercom repeated the same message all day, every day. Most of the regions in Equestria were consumed in infected ponies.
Our story begins in Ponnslyvania where our four survivors are wondering the streets.
"Why do we have to walk around in the daylight?" Trigger Happy asked
"Because, I'd rather not get us caught by Wanders," Boom Blast reaponded
"But won't the daylight will make us more vulnerable?"
"No, Wanders mostly travel around night time" Broken Meds responded
Boom Blast shooshed the two and got close to the wall she held her pistols up with her magic. Broken Meds hid behind Ranger as he pulled out his sword holding it in his mouth. TriggerHappy held his shotgun close to his face chuckling to himself. The maroon pony jumped around the corner and started to open fire, TriggerHappy laughed loudly as he followed running into the crowd of infected ponies, shooting. Ranger followed slicing the heads off the ponies making sure the happy pony didnt get hurt. Boom Blast pulled out one of her dynamites lite it and threw it into the crowd of infected. Bodies parts of ponies flew everywhere, while Broken Meds staied in the shadows and out of the way.
When it was all over Ranger put his sword back into its hoister and Trigger Happy stopped laughing then put his gun away. Broken Meds started walk out of the alley way when a long tongue wrapped around his waist, he screamed as he a lifted up in the air. The others ran over and Ranger sliced off the tongue and all was heard was a ear piercing scream and the rest of tongue slid up onto the roof. Broken Meds panted and looked up where the tongue came from, Boom Blast helped up the zebra pegasus and looked at him.
"You alright Meds?" Boom Blast asked
The zebra just nodded "we should get going" he said getting up walking into the street, the others followed close beside the zebra looking around making sure nothing was around.
They arrived at a small pharmacy and they guarded the outside until Meds got all he needed into a bag. He walked out but staied slient, as slient as Ranger. The purple swordsstallion walked to Broken and he was actually started talking to the zebra. Boom Blast and Trigger Happy couldnt hear but were amazed that the first time in a year they finally see Broken smiling and Ranger talking.
A scream was heard and gun shots rung in the city the four looked all around and saw a pastel mare running towards them. The mare ran past them and around the corner the four then heard laughter.
"Looky what we have here boys" A black mare smiled pointing her gun at them, four stallions walked out from behind her all covered in thick leather.
The mare walked towards them as an infected ran towards her in a flash her hoof turned into a drill and she ran it through the infected's head. The four stared in silence then Broken started to back up, he started to breathe heavily.
"Dr. Meds?" The mare grinned "Fancy seeing you here with these losers. "
Boom Blast turned and looked at the zebra "you know that mare?"
"He was my brothers doctor" she growled "until he killed him!"
"I had no choice!" Broken yelled "he was turning into an infected!"
"you could have saved him!" She yelled then her voice changed "but no matter, you will die along with other murdurous doctors" she held her gun up and pointed it to the zebra.
Boom Blast got in front of Broken Meds and pulled her machine gun out. The mare grinned and lowered her gun, until an special infected called a hunter jumped her and started to stomp and bite the mare. The stallions in her group started to open fire on the hunter until it died, the black mare was bitten several times on the right foreleg. Her left hoof formed into a knife and she cut off her own arm, blood splattered on the ground, she cried in pain. The stallions picked up their leader then ran off in the other direction where they came.
Before things could calm down a scream came from the other side of a fence just west of where they stood. The ponies turned to see the same pastel pony clinging to the fence holding her hoof out. She looked behind her and all of them saw a horde running to her.
"Please! Help me!" The mare behind fence cried
Boom Blast ignored the cries from the mare and started to walk away. Trigger Happy looked at the maroon mare and started to back up turning around following. Both Broken and Ranger watched as the pastel mare had her limbs tore off, her inside in the mouths of the infected. Ranger walked away but Broken stood watching the horde consume and cover themselves in the blood and inside of the once alive mare. The zebra then walked away following his group of friends.
The four finally arrived to an underground train station where they noticed a red door. Ranger took off the bar that held the door closed and all four entered inside. Ranger and Trigger pushed a desk and couple of boxes in front of the door barricading it closed. Boom Blast reloaded hers and everyone elses guns by the ammo that was left behind. Broken Meds laid in the corner next to another red door that exited the small room. Ranger pulled out his rifle and pushed it through the hole of the door Broken was by, then starting shooting the heads off infected. The group of ponies staied quiet through the night none of them saying a word to eachother. None of them wanted to relieve what happened they all wanted to forget, but in the world of dying, it is always hard to forget the horrible.

The group of ponies finally exited the door that kept them in the safe room. No infected were in site which was good thing, they walked down the steps and started open fire on the little infected that were there. Broken Meds picked up some pipebombs and pills that laid in a blocked hallway. A sudden gurgle sound was heard and they all looked around, TriggerHappy cocked his gun and listen carefully. A huge round colt with boils on his body came from around corner gurgling and bellowing. Trigger Happy pushed the giant colt called a Boomer backwards shooting it, making the giant explode in guts and blood. The group moved forward up another flight of stairs, entering the top they saw the underground trains, some toppled over others off tracked and on fire. They moved inside the station shooting the infected wandering the station inside. They then noticed a table with left over ammo and decided to take a small break.
"Hey guys?" Broken Meds spoke up as they were reloading and keeping guard.
"What is it?" Boom Blast answered looking at the zebra
"Why do you all keep me here?" He responded " I mean I know I'm the medic in the group but, I cant carry a gun, I'm afraid of everything, and and-"
"Broken, youre what keep us together," Trigger Happy said smiling lightly
"Remember when this all started, we were all lost alone." Boom Blast sighed "You found each and one of us and told all three of us, that we needed eachother."
The pink striped zebra made a light smile, "I did say, that didnt I?"
"That was soooo touching" a light voice and a clanking sound was heard in the distance "it almost made me tear up" the four turned their heads to see the black mare from the street. They looked at her foreleg and saw it was made up of metal, air pumps, cranks, and wires. "We had a little, interruption, in our last meet."
The ponies pulled up their guns and sword protecting the zebra that watched.
The mare chuckled then smiled cocky like "allow me to introduce myself, I am DrillBit leader of Dwellers." She looked at the four in front of her, "This is my assisstant, WrenchBloom." The moment she said the name a tan mare walked out from behind the stallions she had a pink bow in her red mane. A cloth bandage covered her left eye but she kept the other closed closed.
"WrenchBloom doesnt talk every much, anymore" DrillBit frowned " Since her so called friends abandoned her." The group could see the pain in WrenchBloom when DrillBit said "friends," they could see that she wanted to cry but they knew crying was for the weak. "Anyway ponies, why not tell us your names?" She looked at them smiling
Trigger Happy scoffed "This is a dying world, all we have to do to is kill to survive, not make introductions."
"Wrong answer," DrillBit cooed
WrenchBloom suddenly opened her eye and ran at full speed towards the four. They started to open fire on the mare, she dogded every bullet then kicked Boom Blast and Trigger Happy in a flash. A rope, she pulled from her bag, wrapped around Broken Meds legs and she tied him up. The tan mare turned to Ranger who had his sword out, she stood properly and her blank expression showed no emotion. WrenchBloom ran to Ranger as he dogded everyone of her kicks and punches, the stallion cut the mare on the cheek lightly. Both ponies panted until a stallion with a gun whacked Ranger in the back of the head knocking him out.
DrillBit smiled "boys, take the prisoners back to base." The stallions grunted in agreement and dragged all four away where DrillBit and WrenchBloom stood.
"WrenchBloom," The black mare started
"I know ma'am" the other replied bowing getting low " I'll get stronger and work harder."
DrillBit made the other mare stand "good, now lets go."
The mares quickly caught up with the stallions that had each of the prisioners on the stallion's backs, except Ranger who was dragged by the tail. When arriving they had left the train station and entered a junk yard just west side of town. Ponies of all sizes where there and all bowed to DrillBit as if she were a Princess, as she entered the junkyard.
"Welcome back, Leader Drill" a mare called out as other joined in welcoming her back.
The prisoners were put inside a small shack where they were chained and had to wear a horse harness. WrenchBloom made sure everything was okay and 'safe' in the junkyard then entered into her small bunker where she looked in a mirror. She hated the look of herself and how disgusted she was of her eye, her right eye. She slowly took off the bandage and her eye was of a different color and misplaced. She couldnt see out of that eye and she started to cry from her left slowly.
"I'm so sorry sis, I shouldn't have taken it but I wanted you to be with me, forever." She no longer had her accent that made her apart of her family. "I know you're not proud of me but everyone left, I have no one" her words started to slow and she wrapped her eye in a new cloth wrap. "I'm alone, I'm lost, I'm broken and I'm sorry."
