It's Movie Night!

   Celestia returned from her trip for her "intervention" in the Human Universe. Fortunately she went unnoticed with the exception of the person she wanted to talk to: Herself. After warning her human counterpart of any danger to have to do with her world, she left. As she left something caught her eye.

    "What in the name of Equestria are those!" Luna exclaimed when she saw Celestia carrying dozens of cases with pictures on them.

     "Oh these? I believe you've seen the likes of these before. They're movies!" Celestia explained to her sister as the latter folded her arms.

      "Movies? Do you mean those silent moving pictures everypony is so worked up about?" Luna said unimpressed. Celestia lay the movies on a table.

      "In this world, everything is so advanced. These movies have actually good actors. Something our world's movies lack." Celestia said chuckling to herself. Luna was intrigued and took a look at some of the covers of the movies. Once she had taken a look at every cover she made a new pile. She then spotted something of interest.

       "'Twilight'. I'm sure your former student will be delighted to see this." Luna said thoughtfully.

        "I was told that one was a bit...stale." Celestia thought about how the person at the cashier register begged and begged her not to get the movie. He even went as so far as begging on his knees. "Speaking of Twilight, what is she doing right now?" Celestia asked.

        "Judging from her dreams last night, I'd say she was planning to have her friends come over to her castle this evening. She was certainly very excited." Luna said.

         "Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to give Twilight one of these movies." Celestia thought aloud.

        "I doubt the theaters would allow human movies to be played." Luna said as she raised an eye brow. Celestia's eyes then widened. She remembered about something called a "TV" that she had bought as well. With a flash of light she made a TV appear on the table.

        "In the human world we can see movies from the comfort of our own homes." Celestia said.

        "Just...how much has these humans invented?" Luna said bewildered.

"Ok everypony ready for a game?" Twilight asked her friends. The ponies nodded their heads. Just then a giant tv appeared in the middle of the table Twilight was about to play poker on, along with a movie.

        "Now just what in tarnation is that?" Applejack said with her eyes aglow.

        "It seems to be from Princess Celestia. Let's see what it says." Twilight said as she opened up the scroll that came with the TV. "'Dear Twilight Sparkle, I was in the human world the other day and I found something you might enjoy. It's a human movie with a sort of magic similar to our own. Since you are with your friends this evening I thought it would be nice to watch a movie. Enjoy yourself! Sincerely, Princess Celestia.' It sounds like Princess Celestia wants us to...watch a movie using this device." Twilight said looking at the wires sticking out of the TV.

20 minutes of mishaps later.

"Well we're finally done!" Twilight said exhausted.

        "I hope it's better than those boring movies at the cinema." Rainbow Dash yawned.

        "Well there is one way to find out." Rarity said looking at the DVD cover. 'The Avengers. Certainly a handsome bunch of fellows aside from that green thing. For humans that is." Rarity said blushing.

        "It looks like we need to put that record into that machine." Twilight said as Rarity held up the disk. "It's just like a record machine!" Twilight exclaimed. Twilight then took the disk from Rarity and put it in the DVD player. Twilight and her friends then gathered on her couch to enjoy the movie. It was not long before the movie screen lit up.

The screen showed a logo for the studio called Marvel who made the film.

        "With a name called Marvel I hope this movie lived up to expectations" Twilight said. A bright glowing blue energy was shown.

        "The Tesseract has awakened." said a monstrous voice.

        "Hold on, give me five more minutes to sleep." Pinkie said falsely yawning.

        "It is on a neutral world. A human world. They wield its power."

         "The power of love? 'Cause I don't need no credit card to-" Pinkie started to sing but before she could Rainbow Dash covered the pink pony's mouth.

          "But our ally knows it's working, as they never will."

          "I am the Batmare!" Rainbow said in a mimicking voice.

          "He's ready to lead. And our force, our Chitauri will follow."

           "Chitauri? Is that a new cereal?" Rarity asked. "I'm serious."

           "And the humans? What can they do but burn?"

           "Burn baby burn!" Pinkie sang.

           "Let's go inferno!" Rainbow sang along.

           The film then cut to desert with a helicopter getting ready to land. Men rushed everywhere to their vehicles.

            "Run! He hasn't had his coffee today!" Pinkie shouted. A man in a suit named Agent Coulson then stood, taking off his sunglasses.

            "Mr. Anderson?" Twilight said mimicking Agent Smith from the "Maretrix" movie. It was one of the only movies she tolerated. She then earned stares from the ponies around her. "What? I can make fun of movies too!" Twilight said exasperated. Back on the screen, a woman walked out of the chopper. Behind her was a man wearing an eyepatch: S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury.

          "How bad is it?" Nick Fury said.

             "I don't know sir. Because we're waiting on the whole world to answer right now and we are asking it once again: 'Who's bad?'" Rainbow Dash said in a "buisnessy" tone.

             "That's the problem sir, we don't know." Agent Coulson said.

              "I don't think I know anything anymore!" Rainbow said as she pretended to break down crying. Agent Coulson then led the director into the facility.

              "He's leading them down the Space Mountain queue at Disneighland." Twilight joked.

              "Dr Selvig read an energy surge from the Tesseract four hours ago." Agent Coulson explained.

              "He literally read the energy surge like a Magic 8 Ball." Twilight said.

               "NASA didn't authorize Selvig to test phase." Nick Fury said.

                "Because he LOOKS LIKE A B-" Pinkie shouted while mimicking Nick Fury before Twilight covered her mouth.

                "Pinkie! Language!" Twilight scolded.

                "He wasn't testing it, he wasn't even in the room. Spontaneous advancement." Coulson explained.

                "It just turned itself on?" the woman asked.

                 "Hey, I know tons of ponies who can turn themselves on." Rainbow said with a smirk. Pinkie then grabbed a saxophone and played a smooth jazz song.

                 "Rainbow!" Twilight scolded.

                  "What are the energy levels now?" Fury asked.

                   "It's over 9000!!!" Pinkie yelled.

                   "Climbing. When Selvig couldn't shut it down we ordered the evac." said Coulson.

                   "How long to get everyone out?" Fury asked.

                   "To be honest, they were all running like a bunch of monkeys on a sugar rush...so I'd say not anytime soon." Rarity joked.

                   "Campus should be clear in the next half hour." Coulson said.

                   "Do better." Fury ordered.

                   "Well excuuuuuuuuse me princess!" Pinkie said.

                   "Actually I've had Spitfire say things like that to me." Rainbow said.

                   "Did she have a eyepatch like a pirate?" Twilight asked.

                   "Uh. No..." Rainbow said.

                    "Did she have a black jacket and a awesome voice?"

                    "No...."

                    "Then it's completely different." Twilight said closing her eyes and nodding her head.

                    "Sir evacuation may be futile." said the woman.

                     "So is resistance." Twilight said.

                     "The movie 'Resistance' or the word." Rainbow asked.

                     "Yes."

                      "We should tell them to go back to sleep?" Fury said.

                      "You send people to guard a extremely powerful being...while sleeping?" Twilight face palmed. "I can't tell if he's being sarcastic or not."

                      "I need you to make sure all phase 2 prototypes are shipped out." Fury commanded.

                      "Sir, is that really a priority right now?" the woman asked.

                       "Get back in the kitchen!" Pinkie said doing her impression of Fury.

                       "Until such a time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on." Fury said.

                       "Quote Nick Fury 2012." Twilight said.

                       "Yes sir." the woman said as she motioned to two men. "With me."

                        "I can taste the day! Savor night!" Rainbow sang. Afterwards her friends stared awkwardly at her. On the screen Fury moved into the place where the Tesseract was being held. A man emerged from behind the containment unit holding it.

                         "Director." the man called Selvig addressed.

                         "CUT!" Twilight shouted.
