Rainbow Dash's Adventures Through Oz

I may be a little pony, but I love to write fictions for all to see. It all starts with an idea, then it shapes itself into a fiction, or a song. Nothing is ready the first time, so I fix my errors for my faithful friends to read more easily. My past is shrouded in mystery, and I plan to find out someday. But I'm always writing my fictions at my writing desk until the moon appears and the raven sits by my window. I eat, sleep, and breathe words, ideas, dreams, and fantasy worlds. It is one of the only things I ever think about. It was the same routine everyday until my first request from another pony...

I was busy writing fictions by my desk, getting ideas for my Fractured Tails and my Holiday Specials. It occured to me that I never wrote an ongoing series or a request, but I was okay with how things went. The peaceful Ponyville was always normal and had nothing to do on some days (mostly because the Mane Six were off dealing with Equestria's Top Villains). This was until I got a knock on my door. I stopped writing and went downstairs. I opened my door... and Rainbow Dash was there. "Hey Unknown Tale," she said, "I would like to talk to you." I felt relief in my mind. I was writing fictions non-stop!

"Very well, Rainbow Dash. Please do come in. It is not often I have visitors."

"I can see why," she replied as she walked in. She went over to a chair at my table and sat in it. I sat on the chair facing in her direction.

"So, why'd you come here on a beautiful day like today?" I asked.

"I sort-of need a new book." I just stared at her for a moment. Did I hear her right? I thought. Does she want to borrow a book, or is she requesting? I decided to ask. "Very well, what kind of book do you want?"

"Oh, I don't want a book, I'm just requesting."

"You're the first to request, Rainbow Dash. What do you want for your request?"

"Well, I was looking through some old books at Twilight's and found this really odd book about a Wizard, a Scarecrow, a Tinman, a cowardly lion, and four witches."

"Wizard of Oz?" I asked.

"Oh, so that was the title! Anyways, if you've got any spare time, I would like you to make an Oz story. I want some action, adventure, comedy, and possibly a few twists! Do you think you can handle that?" I looked through my basement quickly and found other adaptations. I did my Alice fics and got good results. Some others made their adaptations. Maybe I can see what to do with this request. I ran back up and back into my seat. "Okay Dash. I have decided to do it. However, there is one tiny problem..."

"What is that?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously.

"You need to wear a dress." She looked at me strangely then turned away. She then turned back a few seconds later managing a weak smile. "Don't worry about it Unknown Tale. I know you'll be able to do something funny with it." I nodded in agreement. I went up to my shelf and grabbed an empty book. It shimmered and gleamed for a moment.

"Feel free to choose a title Rainbow Dash."

"I know the perfect one." She got out a pencil and wrote the words Rainbow Dash's Adventures from Oz and smiled at me. I smiled back and we started working on the fic.
