Celestia's Sweet
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryNext ChapterBon-Bon sat in her favorite chair in the middle of her shop. Her display cases were freshly cleaned, her chocolates all stocked up, and her marefriend off causing trouble anywhere but there. It was going to be an absolutely perfect day.
A shock of magical power rocketed through the door to the shop with a speed that would put the wonderbolts to shame. In the center of the magical energy was Princess Celestia.
Bon-Bon's jaw dropped. She was speechless. Princess Celestia had just teleported from Canterlot into her shop... On her counter.... why was she holding flowers?
In the alicorn's magic she held a dozen roses. She was smiling down at Bon-Bon with a manic look in her eye. Bon-Bon backed away slowly before bowing. "Good Afternoon, Your Highness." she said meekly, "How can I help you?"
Princess Celestia smiled brightly before levitating the roses to Bon-Bon. "I GOT YOU FLOWERS!" she yelled excitedly. Bon-Bon simply raised an eye-brow.
"Why... t-thank you..." she said. Why was there an alicorn princess standing on her counter handing her flowers?
Celestia's smile was beginning to unnerve the earth pony. The silence stretched out as Bon-Bon continued crouching on the floor and Princess Celestia continued to smile manically.
The bell above the door announced the arrival of somepony else. Bon-Bon looked up to see her marefriend, Lyra, standing in front of the door. "Uh.... Hey?" she called to Bon-Bon, "What's going on?"
Bon-Bon wished she had an answer for that. "The Princess here just stopped in to... deliver some flowers?" Bon-Bon said, looking to Celestia for reassurance. She was denied any such comfort as the Princess just continued her creepy smiling.
Lyra began to smile almost as manically as the princess. "So, Princess," Lyra began. "Did you happen to take an interest in Bon-Bon, here?"
"I want to marry you!" Princess Celestia yelled. Bon-Bon's jaw dropped, and Lyra's smile only grew larger. "Will you marry me, Bon-Bon?" Princess Celestia asked.
"Uhm, Princess, I'm flattered, but Lyra is my-" Bon-Bon was cut off.
"She'd love to, Your Highness." Lyra said. She was obviously trying to contain her laughter. Bon-Bon finally stood up intent on telling off the mint-green unicorn.
Princess Celestia ran to Bon-Bon, and before she could move, wrapped her in an enormous hug. "You have no idea how happy that makes me!" she yelled. "We must go to Canterlot at once."
Bon-Bon was struggling to breath as the white alicorn carried her out the door, wrapped in her telekinesis. She tried to form coherent thoughts, however, the insanity of the day had just begun and she already could not process what was happening. Did Lyra just tell the ruler of their country she could marry Bon-Bon?
Regicide, Bon-Bon thought, I wonder what the penalty would be. Bon-Bon was still wrapped in Celestia's telekinesis while a dress maker in Canterlot was taking her measurements.
"Is this necessary?" Bon-Bon asked Celestia. Celestia just smiled at her.
"If I let you go you'll just get cold feet and run again, now sit still while the nice mare makes your dress." Celestia said. After Bon-Bon was released on the trip to Canterlot she had tried to run, only to be stopped by her marefriend Lyra.
Lyra had then brought her back to Celestia explaining that Bon-Bon wanted to marry Celestia, she was just shy. Bon-Bon had then managed to kick her marefriend in the head before she was wrapped in the sun-gold magic field again.
Now Bon-Bon stood, getting measured for a wedding dress, in Canterlot, while Celestia kept smiling her unnerving grin, with Lyra laying on the floor unconscious.
This was turning out to be one hell of a day. "Okay, we have the plump one's measurements." The squat earth pony that had been measuring Bon-Bon said.
"Plump one?" Bon-Bon asked. "Excuse me, but I don't think that's very professional."
"We are sorry, plump one, but compared to the princess, that's what you are. Plump." Bon-Bon fought the urge to fight against the princess's magic so she could get her hooves around the other ponies neck.
Great first Regicide now Homicide. Bon-Bon sighed loudly. She did not even want to get married and now, it seemed, that was inevitable.
Lyra snapped her head up as she awoke. "Where am I?" she asked.
"In a dress shop, Lyra." Bon-Bon said. "Remember? I'm getting fitted for a wedding dress."
Lyra stared at her blankly for a moment. "Are we getting married?" she asked. Bon-Bon would have face-hooved had she not been bound by magic.
"No, Lyra." Bon-Bon said. "I am, apparently, to be wedded to Princess Celestia."
Princess Celestia positively beamed. "Yes." she said, drawing out the 's' for far longer than necessary.
"Awesome." Lyra said, laying back in the floor. "Do I get a part in the wedding?"
Bon-Bon sighed. "I suppose, you can be my best-mare." Bon-Bon said. This way you'll be close enough to be second on my list.
"Awesome." Lyra said again before yawning loudly. "When is it?"
Bon-Bon honestly did not know. She looked to the princess. "Princess Celestia?"
"Oh, please, my dear, you can call me whatever you want." Celestia said with her most sensual tone.
Bon-Bon rolled her eyes. "Celestia... when is the wedding?"
Celestia smiled again. "After you get your dress." she stated, as if it had been obvious. Of course.
Just as Bon-Bon was preparing to tell Princess Celestia (for the hundredth time) that she did not want to get married today when...
BOOM!
An explosion erupted from the front of the shop. "Sister, release that mare!" said a midnight blue alicorn, who appeared to be charging a spell aimed directly for Princess Celestia.
"Hello, Luna." Princess Celestia said, seemingly unaware of the intensity of her sister's manner. "I was hoping to see you soon."
"Why is that?" Princess Luna asked. "Have you realized the error of your ways?"
Celestia laughed. "No, dear sister, I wanted your help." The white alicorn said. "You see, the theme for my wedding is the moon."
Princess Luna's jaw dropped. "Really?" she asked, tearing up at the revelation. "You would like us to decorate for your wedding?"
Celestia smiled. "Yes, dear sister, I would also like you to raise the moon for the remainder of the day."
Luna positively beamed. "Where is the wedding to be held, sister?" she asked. Bon-Bon's jaw dropped. Does she really not get she's being bribed to go along with this?
"The mane hall of the castle." The words had barely left Celestia's mouth when Luna bolted for the door.
Lyra just chuckled from the floor. "Looks like your getting married still."
One hell of a day indeed.
