//-------------------------------------------------------// Celestia's Sweet -by Havokwithak- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Bon-Bon sat in her favorite chair in the middle of her shop. Her display cases were freshly cleaned, her chocolates all stocked up, and her marefriend off causing trouble anywhere but there. It was going to be an absolutely perfect day. A shock of magical power rocketed through the door to the shop with a speed that would put the wonderbolts to shame. In the center of the magical energy was Princess Celestia. Bon-Bon's jaw dropped. She was speechless. Princess Celestia had just teleported from Canterlot into her shop... On her counter.... why was she holding flowers? In the alicorn's magic she held a dozen roses. She was smiling down at Bon-Bon with a manic look in her eye. Bon-Bon backed away slowly before bowing. "Good Afternoon, Your Highness." she said meekly, "How can I help you?" Princess Celestia smiled brightly before levitating the roses to Bon-Bon. "I GOT YOU FLOWERS!" she yelled excitedly. Bon-Bon simply raised an eye-brow. "Why... t-thank you..." she said. Why was there an alicorn princess standing on her counter handing her flowers? Celestia's smile was beginning to unnerve the earth pony. The silence stretched out as Bon-Bon continued crouching on the floor and Princess Celestia continued to smile manically. The bell above the door announced the arrival of somepony else. Bon-Bon looked up to see her marefriend, Lyra, standing in front of the door. "Uh.... Hey?" she called to Bon-Bon, "What's going on?" Bon-Bon wished she had an answer for that. "The Princess here just stopped in to... deliver some flowers?" Bon-Bon said, looking to Celestia for reassurance. She was denied any such comfort as the Princess just continued her creepy smiling. Lyra began to smile almost as manically as the princess. "So, Princess," Lyra began. "Did you happen to take an interest in Bon-Bon, here?" "I want to marry you!" Princess Celestia yelled. Bon-Bon's jaw dropped, and Lyra's smile only grew larger. "Will you marry me, Bon-Bon?" Princess Celestia asked. "Uhm, Princess, I'm flattered, but Lyra is my-" Bon-Bon was cut off. "She'd love to, Your Highness." Lyra said. She was obviously trying to contain her laughter. Bon-Bon finally stood up intent on telling off the mint-green unicorn. Princess Celestia ran to Bon-Bon, and before she could move, wrapped her in an enormous hug. "You have no idea how happy that makes me!" she yelled. "We must go to Canterlot at once." Bon-Bon was struggling to breath as the white alicorn carried her out the door, wrapped in her telekinesis. She tried to form coherent thoughts, however, the insanity of the day had just begun and she already could not process what was happening. Did Lyra just tell the ruler of their country she could marry Bon-Bon? Regicide, Bon-Bon thought, I wonder what the penalty would be. Bon-Bon was still wrapped in Celestia's telekinesis while a dress maker in Canterlot was taking her measurements. "Is this necessary?" Bon-Bon asked Celestia. Celestia just smiled at her. "If I let you go you'll just get cold feet and run again, now sit still while the nice mare makes your dress." Celestia said. After Bon-Bon was released on the trip to Canterlot she had tried to run, only to be stopped by her marefriend Lyra. Lyra had then brought her back to Celestia explaining that Bon-Bon wanted to marry Celestia, she was just shy. Bon-Bon had then managed to kick her marefriend in the head before she was wrapped in the sun-gold magic field again. Now Bon-Bon stood, getting measured for a wedding dress, in Canterlot, while Celestia kept smiling her unnerving grin, with Lyra laying on the floor unconscious. This was turning out to be one hell of a day. "Okay, we have the plump one's measurements." The squat earth pony that had been measuring Bon-Bon said. "Plump one?" Bon-Bon asked. "Excuse me, but I don't think that's very professional." "We are sorry, plump one, but compared to the princess, that's what you are. Plump." Bon-Bon fought the urge to fight against the princess's magic so she could get her hooves around the other ponies neck. Great first Regicide now Homicide. Bon-Bon sighed loudly. She did not even want to get married and now, it seemed, that was inevitable. Lyra snapped her head up as she awoke. "Where am I?" she asked. "In a dress shop, Lyra." Bon-Bon said. "Remember? I'm getting fitted for a wedding dress." Lyra stared at her blankly for a moment. "Are we getting married?" she asked. Bon-Bon would have face-hooved had she not been bound by magic. "No, Lyra." Bon-Bon said. "I am, apparently, to be wedded to Princess Celestia." Princess Celestia positively beamed. "Yes." she said, drawing out the 's' for far longer than necessary. "Awesome." Lyra said, laying back in the floor. "Do I get a part in the wedding?" Bon-Bon sighed. "I suppose, you can be my best-mare." Bon-Bon said. This way you'll be close enough to be second on my list. "Awesome." Lyra said again before yawning loudly. "When is it?" Bon-Bon honestly did not know. She looked to the princess. "Princess Celestia?" "Oh, please, my dear, you can call me whatever you want." Celestia said with her most sensual tone. Bon-Bon rolled her eyes. "Celestia... when is the wedding?" Celestia smiled again. "After you get your dress." she stated, as if it had been obvious. Of course. Just as Bon-Bon was preparing to tell Princess Celestia (for the hundredth time) that she did not want to get married today when... BOOM! An explosion erupted from the front of the shop. "Sister, release that mare!" said a midnight blue alicorn, who appeared to be charging a spell aimed directly for Princess Celestia. "Hello, Luna." Princess Celestia said, seemingly unaware of the intensity of her sister's manner. "I was hoping to see you soon." "Why is that?" Princess Luna asked. "Have you realized the error of your ways?" Celestia laughed. "No, dear sister, I wanted your help." The white alicorn said. "You see, the theme for my wedding is the moon." Princess Luna's jaw dropped. "Really?" she asked, tearing up at the revelation. "You would like us to decorate for your wedding?" Celestia smiled. "Yes, dear sister, I would also like you to raise the moon for the remainder of the day." Luna positively beamed. "Where is the wedding to be held, sister?" she asked. Bon-Bon's jaw dropped. Does she really not get she's being bribed to go along with this? "The mane hall of the castle." The words had barely left Celestia's mouth when Luna bolted for the door. Lyra just chuckled from the floor. "Looks like your getting married still." One hell of a day indeed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Bon-Bon sighed as the dress maker continued to make adjustments to her dress, all the while complaining about some giant hole in her shop. "I mean, I know she is a princess, but really... who blows up the front of a dress shop?" the mare continued to complain. "I'm sorry," Bon-Bon said. "I don't think I caught your name." "I'm Razzle, sorry... anyways really... there was an unlocked door literally right in front of her...", Razzle continued. "That's what I get, though... my sister Dazzle she always told me 'Razzle, you need to get away from that place' and you know what?" "What?" Bon-Bon asked. Her tone seemed to imply she was giving in to the situation, but in reality she was planning another escape attempt. "I think, you need a longer train on this." Razzle said. Bon-Bon sighed, and watched as the dress maker removed her dress and walked away with it. She stared at the floor, which was all she could do still immobilized as she was. Maybe if I try being sweet she'll let me go, Bon-Bon thought. "Princess?" Bon-Bon said in her most pouty voice. "My legs are tired... can I come sit over there with you?" Princess Celestia smiled at her, and for once it didn't seem creepy. "Of course, my dear... although you must stop calling me princess." Bon-Bon smiled as she felt the telekinetic field release her. She would not run yet, she would wait until Celestia couldn't stop her. Still, being free of the magic was nice. Lyra was still unconscious in the floor which led Bon-Bon to wonder... why did Celestia bring her along? She shrugged to herself as she approached Celestia, debating whether or not to run again anyways. She laid on the floor next to Celestia as they waited for Razzle to find whatever she was looking for. They knew from experience they had plenty of time before the mare returned. "So, Princ- I mean Celestia... why did you bring Lyra?" Bon-Bon asked. Celestia smiled, a real smile this time, as she replied. "She's your friend... I thought you'd want her here." Bon-Bon tried to return the smile, and failed. "Well, really she is... or was, my marefriend." Bon-Bon said. Celestia blinked in surprise. "Really?" the alicorn asked. "Why was she so set on allowing me to marry you then?" Bon-Bon sighed. "I honestly don't know..." They sat in silence for a while. As the minutes whiled away Bon-Bon noticed Celestia's breathing becoming more deep and even, and smiled. Celestia was falling asleep. This was perfect, a few more minutes and freedom would be hers." After Princess Celestia fell asleep Bon-Bon waited before running. She wanted Celestia to have enough time to fall into a deep sleep before she tried escaping again. She briefly debated on waking her (apparent) ex-marefriend or not and decided against it. It was her fault she did not escape the first time. After several minutes of silence Bon-Bon slowly stood and crept, slowly across the floor of the shop. The seconds seemed to stretch as she slunk through the room, trying her hardest to be absolutely silent. She was halfway across the room now, mere minutes from victory. Then the door slammed open, startling all three mares in the room. "I'm back!" Razzle yelled loudly, waking both the sleeping princess and Lyra. Bon-Bon, deciding to throw caution to the wind, ran out the door as fast as she could. She tore through the front room, plowing through the patrons, before jumping through the hole in the wall left by Luna. She ran down the streets, pushing posh ponies out of the way as she ran. "Whatcha doin'?" The voice of Celestia startled her as she ran. She looked up to see the alicorn flying over her as she ran. Celestia was smiling at Bon-Bon warmly and seemed to be able to keep up with ease as she flew. "I'm running!" Bon-Bon yelled. Celestia nodded. "I can see that... where exactly are you running to?" the alicorn asked. "Home!" Bon-Bon shouted. "I'm going home!" Celestia nodded. "I shall go with you then." she said cheerfully. Bon-Bon came to a full stop. She may have to put up with the princess but she could play this in her favor if she was careful. "Great idea, Celestia." she said. "We should go see my parents... while the dress is being fixed." Celestia smiled. "Oh, I would love to meet your parents." she said. "Hold on." Celestia disappeared in a flash of golden light before reappearing with Lyra. "What?" Lyra asked, still half asleep. "We should bring your friend." Celestia said with a smile. Bon-Bon scowled at the mint unicorn. "Whatever you say... dear. Come on, we should be able to get to my parents pretty quickly." Bon-Bon said as politely as she could manage. She would just have to humor Celestia until she snapped out of... whatever was wrong with her. "We're going to see Bon's parents?" Lyra asked, a look of terror on her face. "Why?" she asked Bon-Bon. Bon-Bon seeing the opportunity to get some payback said, "Well, since I am going to marry the princess, my parents should get to meet her." Bon-Bon smiled as sincerely as she could. "But, why do I have to go?" Lyra asked. Bon-Bon's parents hated Lyra. They had always told their daughter that she was a bad influence, but Bon-Bon had always ignored them... she regretted that now. Lyra had pretty much forced her onto the princess out of the blue, and then she had kept Bon-Bon from escaping. "Because... my parents would be thrilled to see you, happy and...," Bon-Bon paused, as if searching for the best way to phrase her attack. "Single." she said with a cruel smile. Lyra's face fell. "Oh, before we go," Celestia said, disappearing in a teleport again only to reappear seconds later holding... a box of donuts? "Need snacks." she said. Bon-Bon shrugged as Celestia passed her a donut. She took a bite of the donut, surprised to find it was much too sugary. "Ugh, remind me sometime, dear, and I'll make you better donuts than this," she was surprised her offer was genuine. "After all... I can do better." she smiled. Bon-Bon finally had a plan, if she could get Celestia in front of her parents, maybe they would figure out that something was wrong, and actually be able to help her escape the princess.  She grinned, soon she would be free... surely her parents would be able to help. "So, where do your parents live?" Celestia asked. "Manehatten." Bon-Bon said. She smiled at the princess. "Would it be too much trouble for you to teleport us there?" "Count me out," Lyra said dejectedly. "I'll just get on a train back to Ponyville." Bon-Bon felt a brief flicker of pain before remembering that Lyra had wanted this for some reason. "You two... be happy." Lyra said. A tear fell from Bon-Bon's eye as she saw the magic building around herself and the princess. Lyra just stared at them, smiling... even as the tears streamed down her face. Sweetheart sat in her favorite chair in the middle of her shop. Her display cases were freshly cleaned, her chocolates all stocked up, and her husband was off causing trouble anywhere but there. It was going to be an absolutely perfect day. A shock of magical power rocketed through the door to the shop with a speed that would put the wonderbolts to shame. In the center of the magical energy was Princess Celestia and... Bon-Bon? Sweetheart stared in amazement. Princess Celestia stood on one of her counters holding onto a crying Bon-Bon. "I'm sorry, Bon-Bon," Sweetheart said causing her daughter to look up at her from the hooves of Princess Celestia, her eyes bloodshot and puffy. "Why exactly is there an alicorn princess standing on my counter holding my daughter?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Bon-Bon, Celestia, and Sweetheart all sat at the kitchen table in Sweetheart's home. Sweetheart looked very similar to her daughter. She had a full pink mane, almost exactly the same as her daughter's, and a vanilla coat. Her cutie mark was a chocolate in the shape of a heart. Celestia did not notice any of this, she was too busy eating donuts while the other two mares talked. "So, Bon-Bon, dear..." Sweetheart said. "How long have you and the princess been engaged?" Bon-Bon had filled her mother in on the very basics. She had told Sweetheart that she was to marry the princess later in the day. Bon-Bon gave her mother a glare. "About three hours." she said. Seriously? She doesn't notice anything wrong with this? "Well, when did you and Lyra break-up?" Sweetheart asked, oblivious. "About an hour ago." Bon-Bon said, giving her mother a deadpan stare. "What do you think about all this, mother?" Please take a hint. "I think it's wonderful!" Her mother exclaimed happily. Of course not... "You know, your highness," Sweetheart said to Celestia, "I believe that I have just what you need." Oh no... Bon-Bon wanted to bash her head into the table. Her mother was going to have them eat those chocolates. "You see, princess, I have these chocolates that I make, I think that if you eat them with somepony you love you will be together forever. I actually got my cutie mark making them for Bon-Bon's father." Sweetheart explained. "That sounds wonderful!" Celestia exclaimed. Obviously unaware of Bon-Bon's discomfort. "Could Bon-Bon and I have some?" she asked. Sweetheart smiled and nodded before trotting out of the room into her main shop. "Yes, mother's superstitious sweets, how wonderful." Bon-Bon said, in a deadpan voice. "Now our marriage will be official." "You really think so?" Celestia asked excitedly. She smiled, a tear running down her face. "You don't know how much that means to me." Bon-Bon sighed, she could not ruin this moment for the princess... even if she was out of her mind. "Yes, I really do." she lied. "I can't wait." for you to fall asleep again... Sweetheart returned to the room carrying a box of heart shaped chocolates, the same chocolate that made up her heart shaped cutie mark. "Here we are, Sweetheart's Sweets Specialty, the love hearts." she announced. Bon-Bon sighed again, ignored by the other two mares. "Yes, mother we know." Sweetheart frowned slightly but ignored her daughter once again. "You really think we'll be together forever?" Celestia asked. "Yes, I do." Sweetheart said. Bon-Bon hoped to prove her wrong soon. Celestia opened the box of chocolates and stared inside. "You should eat them." Bon-Bon said. She was hoping maybe her mom was smarter than she thought and had thought to put some sleeping pills in the chocolate. "No, I think you should have the first one dear." Celestia said with a warm smile. She levitated one of the chocolates from the box towards Bon-Bon's mouth. Bon-Bon shrugged to herself thinking why not? and ate the chocolate. The warm sweet taste filled her instantly, and despite herself she could not help but smile. It really was good. "Would you like to stay the night here?" Sweetheart asked the couple. "I would like one more night with my daughter before she gets married." Celestia seemed to think the matter over. "Well, I'm sure my little sister would be willing to postpone the wedding just one more day..." Celestia smiled and nodded. "Yes we would love to." Bon-Bon had to stop herself from jumping with joy. One more night to escape before the doomsday that was her marriage. "I think that's a great idea mother." Bon-Bon smiled. "Would it bother you too much if took a moment to tell Princess Luna to postpone the wedding?" Celestia asked Bon-Bon. Oh this was almost too much to hope for. Now she was wanting to leave Bon-Bon alone, without her supervision. Bon-Bon smiled widely. "Of course not, dear." Bon-Bon said as sweetly and genuinely as she could manage. "Take your time." Celestia smiled before flaring up her horn. Then she began to speak into the air, "Dear sister, could you hold off on the wedding for one more day? Yes, I think you should lower the moon until night... Yes, you can still raise it for the ceremony tomorrow." Bon-Bon felt her heart drop. Princess Celestia was not leaving... she had some kind of telekinetic spell to hold conversations with her sister. "Oh, and would you go to the dress shop, make sure my dress and Bon-Bon's are ready tomorrow?... Yes I think you should pay for the wall while you are there... okay I got to go... yes I am meeting my soon-to-be mother in-law... you too... bye." The magic around Celestia's horn dissipated. Bon-Bon sighed inwardly, but she was still hopeful she could escape after the princess fell asleep. Princess Celestia smiled as she pulled another chocolate from the box and ate it. "These are amazing." Celestia said. "Bon-Bon must get her skill from you." Bon-Bon blinked. Has Celestia ever even had my sweets? She asked herself. Then Sweetheart gasped loudly. "I know, why don't I go get Bon-Bon's foal pictures?" Bon-Bon groaned... at least she only had to survive the embarrassing stories until they went to bed. Six hours of embarrassing stories later, Bon-Bon had finally gone to bed. Sweetheart had insisted they share the room Bon-Bon used to live in. That would make escape more difficult, but not impossible. They entered the room and Celestia laid down on the bed. She smiled at Bon-Bon while waving her over with one hoof. Bon-Bon suppressed a groan as she sat on the edge of the bed. "Are you alright, dear?" Celestia asked. "If you're uncomfortable, I could always sleep in the floor." Bon-Bon was shocked that the princess would sleep on the floor just for her sake. She looked at the dusty, hard wooden floor and sighed... even if she was out of her mind, she would not ask the princess to do that. "No, that's alright... I'm just ready to sleep." Bon-Bon said. She laid down next to the princess, and jumped slightly when she felt a large white wing fall over her. "Is that okay?" Celestia asked, nervously. The princess was nervous? Bon-Bon had a rough time wrapping her head around it. Bon-Bon examined the wing, it would be much more difficult to escape unnoticed with it over her, but she also looked at the princess. Celestia was nervous about getting rejected, her eyes were full of hope, and the wing was extremely soft. Bon-Bon took a deep breath, "That's perfectly fine, dear." she said warmly. Celestia smiled and pulled herself closer to Bon-Bon, "Thank you." she said before nuzzling her head against Bon-Bon's. Bon-Bon sighed quietly and allowed herself a minute to relax. Surely the princess would fall asleep soon, then she would be able to escape. But do you really want to hurt her? Bon-Bon asked herself. She was shocked by the rogue thought. Yes I do. she argued with herself. Why? Has she been anything but kind since this all started? Maybe not, but she never asked if this was what I wanted. But she did ask. Lyra just answered for you. Besides marrying a princess won't be so bad, maybe you'll enjoy it. No, I'm escaping just as soon as she falls asleep. Bon-Bon looked to find the princess staring at her. She smiled politely back before staring at the ceiling. She was going to escape soon, just as soon as Princess Celestia fell asleep.
