“Come on Silver!” Diamond shouts at me from the foyer of my home. Today was Equestria’s international culture festival being hosted this year in Ponyville. With Princess Twilight and her royal court acting as hostesses for the event. Ponies from all over Equestria come to the hosting town or city to see the many cultures of the other nations besides Equestria. This year our school is part of the Japonese culture. A celebrity chef the nation of Japon is supposed to be serving his most tasty dishes of his home nation. I was going to be late if I didn’t get a move on. So I grab my student ID case and hung it around my neck as I always do. Meeting an impatient Diamond Tiara. We finally got going.
“Finally!” Diamond says. “Took you long enough!”
“Sorry I overslept.” I respond.
“Whatever, let’s just get there before the bell rings.” Diamond sighs.
Diamond has been my life long friend. Despite the fact that she sometimes she gets impatient, greedy or a combination of the two.
We arrived on time to the school house, just as the bell rings to start school. We rush inside and take our seats at our assigned desks. Miss Cheerilee tells us to calm down so class can start.
“Okay class! Settle down!” Cheerilee said. She took her position in front of the class room beside her desk and the chalkboard. There stood a grey unicorn stallion wearing a chef’s coat and hat. “Today Ponyville is host to the annual International Culture Festival. A festival to celebrate other cultures than just Equestria’s. So let me introduce you all to our celebrity chef. He has been well known for the international traveling show “Iron Pony Chef”, and is the head chef of Japon’s most influential clan, the Quick Clan in a tiny prefecture. Meet Masamune Morimoto!”
I’ve heard of Masamune before. He is one of the best chef’s in the nation of Japon. He has also been known as the son of a legendary swordsmith Masamune Hanzou. His own father created a personal set of kitchen knives that Masamune uses to this very day.
The entire day as fun. As we wore traditional clothes native to Japon, like kimonos for both genders. I never knew that kimonos were both genders. Just fillies and mares. We served the food and even tried it ourselves for lunch. It was most delicious!
At the end of the day we hd to clean up the tables, chairs, pots, pans and utensils used throughout the day. Luna’s moon was rising over the horizon when we were finished cleaning everything up. Then Sweetie Belle came up with an idea…
“Why don’t I tell you guy a ghost story!?” she said with glee.
Ths wasn’t going to end well…
