A King Awakened

As surprised as the eight mares were, no pony was more surprised than Tirek. He had thought he had killed that creature with the most powerful attack he has ever done, but he thought wrong. Instead of killing him, it only seemed to enrage Godzilla even more than he already was. As the King of the Monsters continued his assault, Tirek was trying to find some cover, but to no avail. Just when he thought he was about to collapse in ashes, Godzilla seized his attack. The King, still shaken up from the explosion and blast of magic,growled at his now downed attacker.

Celestia was surprised to see Tirek, with the most powerful magic in all of Equestria, looking like he was surrendering to this behemoth. Looking down next to her, she found her little ponies, having the same expression on all their faces,shock, and amusement.

"Celestia? What is that thing? Do you know what it might be?" Twilight asked, curious to know what this thing was.

"Even though I wish I could give you an answer, I don't know what this thing is. But all I can say is........" She paused to see Godzilla walking towards Tirek "........he seems to be on our side."

Tirek now regretted getting up, as his foe grabbed him by the head, hoisting him in the air.

He tried grabbing his fingers, trying to pry himself free, but that only tightened the Kings grip on him. Once he lifted him to eye level, he glared into Tireks eyes, seeing what he had hoped for. Fear. As Tirek stared into his yellow eyes, he saw what he didn't hope for. Death and Destruction. As the eight mares were watching, they didn't expect at what was about to happen next.

As they averted their sight downward, they saw Tireks hind hove come back and come down with so much force, it came down right on Godzilla's knee cap, bending it with a loud crack. Godzilla released Tirek and roared in pain as his leg was completely bent the other way. Tirek quickly spun around and bucked Godzilla square in the chest, which made fresh blood come gushing out, also while toppling him over.

As the princesses and six ponies watched what was happening, they found out where Tirek had bucked Godzilla.

Right at them.

As they were trying to get to safety, they were too late as Godzilla came crashing down on top of the building, inches from where they were. But as he was falling straight through the building, the support that they were standing on started caving inward. Unable to get out of harms way, they went down with the building. As they were falling, they heard a loud roar pierce their ear drums, easily making their ears bleed, as Tirek pounded his downed target with a chunk of fallen debris. As they came down with a thud, the ponies ground in pain as they fell on sharp pieces of fallen debris.One by one, they got up, shaking off anything clinging on to them.

"We have to get out of here before anypony else gets hurt." shouted Twilight, talking very loud due to some ringing in her ears, and coughing up dust.

"I agree. We should all get clear before......." Luna couldn't finish her sentence, as it suddenly got warm where they stood.

"Does anypony else seem like it's getting a little hot in here?" questioned Rarity, as she wiped off some sweat and blood from her face.

Just as Rainbow Dash was about to answer the same thing, there was the same tesla noise again. Celestia knew what that ment instantly.

"HE'S CHARGING UP AGAIN!WE HAVE TO GO NOW!

Using whatever magic she had left, along with Luna, they both charged up their horns and blasted away fallen debris to clear a path to escape. All eight dirty, bruised up ponies exited the fallen down building, just in time. As soon as they exited and turned around, some distance away, they got a large wave of heat and energy as they saw their savior blast his blue fire again at the chunk of debris that Tirek was holding, making it explode into smaller fragments right in his face. Godzilla, using his tail again, swept Tirek off his feet, and delivered a neck breaking kick to his face.

No one noticed, except for the stunned ponies, that once Godzilla kicked Tirek in the face, not only did he get knocked back far, but most of his teeth came out as well. Blood and teeth fragments came out as Tirek fell into once was the princesses beloved towers.

Godzilla, now having the upper hand, limped toward his foe. Growling to ignore the pain, the King of the Monsters grabbed Tirek once more, this time by the horns. Tirek knew what would happen next, and he charged up his horns again, making a mistake that risked his life. With all the strength Godzilla had left, he broke both Tireks horns, stopping the energy flow, turned them around so the sharp ends faced him, and jabbed both of them clean through his shoulders. Tirek yelled and shouted at the excessive amount of pain he was enduring.

Both princesses, Twilight, Rainbow, AppleJack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity were in shock as they saw Tireks horns come off, and jabbed right back into his shoulders.

"Dear Celestia!" they all said at once.

But the horror, and excitement wasn't over yet, and they all knew it. Just when things couldn't get worse, things got worse. Godzilla, all bloodied up, bruised, and covered in dust and debris, turned Tirek 180 degrees around, grabed his upper and lower jaw, thrusting his mouth open. The ponies knew it was the end for Tirek, and he knew it as well.

As soon as Tireks mouth was wide open, he heard his foes destructive tesla noise once more. Upon hearing it again, he try punching his enemy in the face, trying to set himself free, but was no use. As he got one hit off of Godzilla, all he saw was darkness as the King of the monsters fired his atomic breath straight down his throat. If Tirek could scream, he could, but couldn't as his vocal cords were evaporated into ashes.

No one was more surprised than Fluttershy, who has never seen anything happen like this to an animal, as she hid behind her dirty pink mane. The princesses and the rest of the ponies watched in horror as they saw their once powerful enemy in all of Equestria, be killed like this. As Tireks head came off, Godzilla looked around him at the destruction that layer apon him. He then turned to the brightening sky and roared in victory, knowing that he had won this fight.

As Godzilla, all F#%!ed up, dropped Tireks bloody head with a thud, making small amounts of fresh blood come out. When he looked around once more, he saw the eight ponies watching him with the looks of astonishment and horror on their faces. Their eyes widened even more as Godzilla limped over to where they were standing, and bent down on his hands to get a look at these things watching him.

The main six, including the princesses, were shaking as he was only a couple feet away from their faces. Once he was face to face with them, one of them pipped up.

"Thank you"

Tilting his head to the side, he couldn't understand what he had heard. Until another one spoke up.

"What my friend Fluttershy meant to say was, Thank you."said Twilight, a little shaken that this creature was so close to her.

"Twilight, I don't think that this thing can understand y..." Rainbow Dash was cut off as Godzilla, doing the best he can to give a nod, lowered his head in a small gesture. Rainbow Dash jumped a bit as Godzilla understood what her friend had just said.

Knowing that these ponies were thankful for his arrival, Godzilla stood back up to his full height. As he was walking back towards the ocean, one of them shouted something.

"Wait! You forgot something!"

Confused as to what this voice wanted, the King of the Monsters turned around to see something he wish he didn't want to see. As he turned, the only thing he saw was a small pink pony, and a very large plate, with Tireks head on it,with a large sign that says the words, 'Thank You' on it.

"PINKIE!! Where did you find that plate, and how did you manage to get Tireks head on it!?!?" exclaimed Twilight, a little shocked Pinkie was acting like this.

"Does it matter? I want to do something nice for him since he saved us and Canterlot."

Godzilla, looking a little confused at all this, grunted as he picked up his 'offering' in his hand. Pinkie, now happy that this monster accepted her gift, started jumping up and down excitedly. Now that Godzilla knew that everything was in check, started heading for the ocean once again, with no one holding him back. As he limped out of Canterlot, he heard cheers of joy as the surviving ponies came out, some launching fireworks in victory, knowing that Tireks time of need is finally over, and to thank the King of the monsters.

In response to all of this, Godzilla let out one more earth shattering roar in response to their actions, only making them cheer even louder. As the celebration was undergoing, with Pinkies help, Godzilla waded back into the ocean, with his gift still in his hand. As he went underwater, he kept thinking of one thing that creeped him out just before he left.

"I'm not too sure I would want to meet the pink one again."
