There's not many humans around despite the fact that approximately five months after the recent appearance of humans due to ponies constructing some sort of magical portal that lead to Earth and vice versa. Time passed slowly as a human, average in height slept soundly through the morning only to wake to sound of one of satans dastardly creations. The Alarm clock... It suddenly blasts it's unholy beeping sound throughout the entire room causing the human immigrant to wake up in his small, yet cozy apartment in Manehattan. The black haired human moans loudly groggily sitting on his bed slamming his fist on the alarm clock preventing it from corrupting his ears any longer. He throws off his covers, opens his brown eyes and stands up, being average in height, he grabs his usual clothing out of his closet before, putting on them in preparation of an onslaught of interviews not knowing when they will end. He neatens his somewhat thick black hair to cure himself of the vile sickness known as bedhead he makes himself a simple breakfast consisting of a decently sized bagel with cream cheese, and a bit of coffee to get him through the morning. He then says to himself sighing a little bit "Another day of job interviews awaits... " sighing again he says going off into a tangent "I seriously need to stop talking to myself." The human then walks out of the door to his apartment to go to some job interviews with seemingly no avail. After the seemingly endless onslaught of interviews Jacob walks back to his apartment in the afternoon paying attention to the surroundings trying to get a quicker route to his apartment. Eventually he makes it back to his apartment closing the door behind him preventing any onlookers in the hallway to see him. Knowing the door's closed and locked he changes into his normal outfit currently consisting of a plain light blue tee-shirt, bootcut jeans, a navy blue sweatshirt with a zipper he likes to keep open, and a pair of blue sneakers. After putting on his outfit he puts his laptop and MP3 player in his black stringbag, closes the stringbag throwing it on his back as he makes his way out of the door for the second time intending on going to Manehattan's town square. An hour or so passes and he's just sitting there minding his own business listening to music staring into the sky not seeming to have a care in the world blasting his music in his earplugs. A mare passing by recognizes the song and slowly makes her way up to the male, gently poking at his knee, "H-hello, are you one of those humans mister? Sorry for bothering you, I was just kind of curious." She asked looking down, rubbing her hoof. Jacob looks down at quite the adorable mare and says in his normal vocal tone "Yeah, I'm a human" he then says in a more dismissive tone " And don't be sorry. I get that a lot." She frowns a little, "Are you alright mister? Is something wrong?" She tilts her head to the side as her ears fall back. The human smiles in a friendly way towards the mare and says "No, nothing's wrong." "You seemed down, I was worried I was bothering you in some way." she looks to the sides, "How come no one is with you mister?" "You're not really bothering me right now and if you'd like to know why I'm here by myself I came here alone to listen to my music. I guess to my pleasure I was here at the right time" he says letting out a small chuckle. "Oh? Why is that?" she looks around, "Something going on that I missed?" She looked to him again, clueless The human immigrant once again shakes is head before saying obviously referring to Coco "No, it's just that I wasn't really intending on meeting quite the adorable mare today." The two toned blue-maned mare giggled, "I must have just missed her then." she blushed, "None of the mares here are adorable." Jacob's smile grows wider as he chuckles at the joke and he says using his normal vocal tone "Heh, well anyways my name's Jacob Rosario but you can call me Jake, Jacob, or anything else that comes to mind." "I like Jake." She smiled a little up at him as she slowly hops up and lays beside him. The human continues to smile in a friendly way towards her as he says "So, who would this adorable mare sitting next to me be?" "Coco. I'm Coco Pommel." she looked up, her tail swaying a gentle bit. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Coco Pommel. Now, if I hadn't watched a certain show I wouldn't vaguely remember that name... I think you made an appearance or two on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic... am I correct?" he asks with curiosity "Uh...I guess so." She blinked, rubbing her head, "If that's what we do.." She looked up Jacob shrugs "Anywho, so... you want to listen to some good music?" "If you want to share some, sure." she chuckled softly. He offers Coco his headphones and says still maintaining his friendly smile "Here, listen to this song. It's pretty good in my opinion. I think you'll like it." She lets him put them on her head as she shuts her eyes, soon forming a smile as she listens to it. The black haired human says asking her in a hopeful voice "I take it you like this song?" She nods softly smiling and sighing with content, "A little." Relaxing into the bench a little bit he looks up into the sky saying "Well I'm glad you like it." he then turns his head to the mare giving her a friendly smile. He then asks assuming a more curious tone "On a different note you've heard of Minecraft right?" She smiles and sets them back onto his head, sitting up and smiling, "I can understand that and yes, I have in fact, I've played it." A little shocked about this he says "Well that's nice. Lemme show you something that I've built on a creative server." he reaches from behind himself taking out a black string bag containing his laptop and his mouse and plugs in his mouse to the laptop and turns it on using his right leg for a temporary surface to move the mouse around on. The screen for Minecraft pops up and shortly so does the starting screen. Jacob Rosario quickly hits the button for multiplayer after turning his sound all the way down. He then double clicks the server saying 'Woodycraft' and goes into a spawn area. Coco smiles widely at him and stares at his screen curiously to see what the human has made, seeing the large house on the plot of land he has, the many windows and dark brown wood amazes her, "Oh wow, how long did it take you to make that?" Jacob then circles around a house he made and says "Three days of lazy building. Lemme show you the inside." She giggled at his remark, staring widely with delight He asks with confidence clear within his voice "Pretty cool isn't it?" The timid fashion mare nods, "Can you teach me Jake?" Watching him Jacob replies happily "Sure! I can build a quick seven by seven sort of medieval house design just to show you real quick. Just let me get on a different server" She smiled, "Okay!" She cuddled up to him to watch with a happy smile Jacob taps escape once and clicks disconnect returning him to the starting screen for Minecraft. He repeats the same process as he did with Woodycraft this time going to Beasts MC She smiled softly and watched more, her eyes following the mouse curer At first he doesn't get on but then tries again only to be stuck with a 'log in' message. "Whelp, onto the next server" "Ohhh... Something wrong?" She looked up He then attempts to go on another server and says "Something wrong with the server but I'm sure it'll be back up soon. For now I'll go on this server." seeing the message saying the server authentication is down he says "Eugh, guess I'm going to have to show you in a single player world. Don't worry though. I have a pretty big fort I'd like to show you that took me ages to make. I'm still working on it so expect it to be unfinished." "Alright, we can do that." she smiled Jacob's single player worlds have a few sprint maps on them and quite a few worlds saying 'New World'. The human then double left clicks on Jacob's Build World for it to load and then spawn him in it. He then says proudly "This is it so far" "Wow! That is impressive! What is all this supposed to be?" She grinned widely with amazement He says "It's supposed to be a sort of medieval town. Mind you it's still an ongoing project of mine but when I'm done with it I plan to have it released onto the Minecraft Forums for everyone to see, and who knows, maybe I'll be able to get a better job building things servers. I do LOVE building and it's one of things I'm good at too! I've invested so much time building structures and letting my imagination flow into a Minecraft world that I've become so good at it." "Well, why not get a job here as a civil engineer, use this... Minecraft, to show off plans?" The human shrugs "I dunno how that would work out to be honest. Minecraft physics aren't exactly like physics in our worlds. But any-who, I like to think of an empty field a building waiting to be made. Lemme show you how to make a quick seven by seven house that looks good despite being small" Coco Pommel then says with excitement "I can't wait to see that!" "I'm going to start by building the basic structure so I'll add the detail afterwards." "Sounds good." she says looking at his screen. He then begins to build the basic structure of the small house alternating between cobble and oak logs then using mostly oak wood planks. Jacob types in the command setting the time to day turning the time in his Minecraft world to daytime and setting all the skeletons and zombies ablaze unintentionally. "Buuurn zombies! Buuurn!" he says in a jokingly devilish voice chuckling to himself. Oh gosh are they alright?" She blinks, "Or are they monsters?" He snickers and says "Yeah, they're hostile mobs" he then says to the creeper in a comical tone "Hello Mr.Creeper! A fine day we're having today wouldn't you agree?" after finishing placing the glass pane. She laughed softly in response, "I see what you did there." Jacob flies upward around the house and says "Whelp, that's the basic structure right there, so to add detail we're going to replace some of the blocks with stairs!" "I do that too, but sometimes they don't go in right." she giggled. He then says in response "Yeah, I know. But at first you don't succeed try, try again." "Or thirty times for that matter." Jacob laughs lightly and says "Yeah, they can be a bit fidgety at times but they're what makes builds pretty detailed."Jacob Rosario then thinks in thought before saying "Hmm... haven't done this build in a while..." "Oh and whats it called?" she smiled at him Jacob shrugs and says "I dunno, It's just a small medieval style house" "I like it, its neat!" "Well I'm glad you do, any-who onto the floor design, which is probably going to be the hardest part." He finishes the floor design and says "Whelp, I'm not going to do the floor design because if I try at this moment, which I haven't in ages, I'll probably break my laptop. Any-who, on a different note, what do you think of my builds?" She laughed at him, "They're amazing~!" Jacob then shuts down his laptop and closes the lid, putting it back into his string bag having a bit of a struggle getting it through but he eventually gets it back in and proceeds to put his mouse away into his string bag. "So, what were you doing before you met me?" "Just, walking down the street." She softly nodded and smiled cutely The human immigrant says "I was just sitting here, listening to music and all that jazz. Anyw- good dammit that's cute..." being caught off guard by her cute expression. She blushed and giggled, "N'aw~" Jacob chuckles to himself "I swear, if you get any cuter I'm probably going to have a heart attack!" joking around with her with a playfully smile. "Oh we wouldn't want that now would we?" She watches him with a calm smile Jacob's smile grows wider as he starts to chuckle to himself a little bit. He then asks assuming more of a happier tone "So, what do you want to do now?" "I don't mind, what are you in the mood to do?" She looked up at him, tail still softly swaying about Jacob shrugs and says "Eh, I dunno, I legitimately can't think of anything to do except either sit here or go back to my apartment." "Well, maybe meet here again tomorrow and talk more?"She smiled softly. Jacob nods his head "Sure, but when are we going to meet up? I gotta try to find a job and it seems as if the odds aren't in my favor at the moment, but living with your younger brother who's helping you get a job definitely helps." "As I said, same time?" She laughed softly at him The human puts his right hand behind his head and rubs it "Oh yeah... well poor memory aside I'll see you tomorrow!" he then gets up and slowly walks towards his apartment with a happy look on his face. Author's Note Well, this is the first chapter of my (shameless self insert) Human in Equestria romance roleplay! Tell me what you guys think and also, I am in need of someone to roleplay with as I'm a little over half way done with chapter two. Chemical Theory ( My former roleplay partner ) isn't really much of a roleplayer any more and I need some help. I'm looking for mainly skilled roleplayers who can write detailed posts, can do a good roleplay impression of Coco Pommel. Also for future reference this is NOT a conversion bureau story.
