Why so I feel so weak?

Not like normal, I mean in power. I feel less strengthened, my powers don't feel quite as strong or as useful. But it's nothing I should worry about, Discord and Stone are with me. And besides it's not like anything 'bad' can happen from a little magic glitch. Now I feel smarter, stronger, more powerful then I have ever felt, and more accepted. But something's wrong, Discord isn't talking to me much, and he always seems to be looking at the world still be destroyed. Something's wrong...

Discord's laughter echoes throughout the area. I dash through the trees and run freely through the light of the moon. I can hear him getting closer, but he's not too close. I run through and open part of the field and turn to find him front of me. He tackles me to the ground.

"Now I have you!"

"Your.... so fast!" I tell him, still a little shocked.

"Of course I am, and your really slow." He replies.

"Well, thank you for that..." I say sacastically.

"Your welcome!" Discord says getting off me and dusting off his paw and claw.

I remove myself from the ground and sigh. That's the fourth time in a row Discord's gotten me, maybe I am a little slow.... Nope, he's too fast! Besides he can teleport. For some reason I can't do that anymore, but I haven't told Discord that. And also Stone's missing, but Discord told me that he's perfectly fine. I hope that's true.

"Do you want to play again?" Discord asks.

"No, I think I'm done." I tell him as I sit on the soft grass.

"Uh, are you feeling alright, you usually play at least ten rounds a night with me at the least, it's your favorite game!"

"I know, but I don't want to tonight. I guess I might be a little tired." It was true, I was exhausted.

"But you've been napping all day! You can't be THAT tired." He responds.

"I know, your right. I'm sorry Discord."

"Well, I know you wouldn't try to avoid this on purpose, so what's going on?" Discord asks.

"Nothing! Nothing is wrong Discord..."

"Clearly SOMETHING is bothering you, so what is it!? I need you to tell me!" He says raising his voice.

"I FEEL WEAK!" I yell. As soon as I realized what I had done I froze. "Oh, Discord I'm sorry! I didn't mean to raise my voice like that! I'm so sorry!"

But instead of hearing yelling and scolding I feel something soft. It's Discord's fur. He's pulling me towards him.

"Your weak? Why didn't you just tell me?"

"I... I didn't want you to worry about me. It's not your job, and shouldn't have to be."

"But who else besides me is here to help you if something bad happened to you?" Discord asked.

"Nobody..." I say sadly.

"That's right...." Discord says in a dark voice. "There is nobody here to safe you from anyone... Including me."

"What-" But before I finish he covers my mouth and snaps his fingers.

"I just LOVE playtime don't you?" Discord asks. Unfortunately I can't answer. He ignores me and continues. "Since you didn't seem to enjoy our last game maybe we can play one like the very first one you and I ever played. You enjoyed that game SO MUCH..."

His smile is so wicked and big. For once I am actually a little worried about it. Once again I can see chains, but they are attached to a wall, not hanging from the ceiling like last time. Discord pushes me towards them and locks my wrists into them. This time I have to stand.

"This time lets add a few more toys to make the game more interesting..." Discord explained. He snapped his talons and a thin piece of fabric appeared. I figured he was going to blindfold me so I wouldn't be able to see anything but instead he place the cloth in my mouth to gag me. That means this game is going to hurt, possibly a lot.

"Well, lets see. The first thing to have in a game is rules, after all you play one without them! Rule One: Whatever I tell you to do, you will ingnore. In fact you may even have to do the opposite of what I tell you. Rule Two: If you break Rule One, then I will have to punish you. Are we clear?"

Slowly I nodded. Why did I have a feeling this was going to be harder then it sounded?

"Good! Glad we're on the same page." Discord responded happily. "Now..."

One again he snapped his talons and in front of me appeared my Discord plushie.

"Go retrieve it." He told me.

Wait was this starting the game? For a moment I stayed still not sure what to do.

"Get it." He said.

I stayed put looking at the toy. He had only chained one of my hands, I could reach it....

"Are you not listening? Go get it!" He said.

Slowly I reached towards the toy but Discord clawed at my arm. This caused me to scream in pain and move my hand back. My arm had a small cut, but it burned badly.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk..." Discord shook his head. "Breaking the rules already. That isn't nice! Apologize!"

I used my free arm to try and remove the gag. "I'm sorry.."

But Discord hit me on the side of the head. Once again I screamed. Now I had a small headache.

"Must I go over the rules AGAIN?"

I shook my head as the gag slipped back into my mouth. I felt so stupid right now, come on Christina! This shouldn't be too hard.

"You don't look like your having fun, you do like the game don't you?" Discord wondered.

I slipped the gag out of my mouth. "Yes... I l-like the game."

"Really?"

"Yes I like the game." I said.

"I don't believe you, tell me the truth!" He barked.

"I like the game!"

After that I gasped realizing my mistake. But it was too late, Discord clawed at my face scratching me. I screamed and yelled but it didn't stop the pain. I covered my eye, and found blood on my palm when I let go. If I wasn't constantly getting clawed at and hit then my pain would be going away by now, but instead it was growing worse.

"I'll ask you again, are you enjoying the game?"

"No.." I replied almost choking. "I hate it..."

Just then I felt Discord gently kiss me on the forehead which was shocking.

"Good girl." He cooed. "I know your feeling weak and tired.... and I can help you with that."

I sighed. But felt the gag being placed in my mouth again.

"You'll need this, I would really try to bite hard on it if I were you..."

I was a bit confused but bit on it. I felt like Discord's pet; practically begging him for affection, having him talk to me like this, and punishing me if I obeyed the wrong command. I watched as Discord raised his claw, then I felt it. I bit down on the gag so hard I could have torn the fabric. The pain I felt was almost unbearable. I was about ready to fall into unconsiousness. But Discord held me up, I saw what he was holding, it looked like a glowing orb of magic. He had taken away all the magic that he had originally given to me now I truly felt weak.

"There, is that better?" He asked me with cheerfulness in his voice.

"Discord... Whatever I d-did to u-ups-set you I'm s-sorry." I stuttered.

Discord quickly turned around to face me. His grin widened. "Oh, but sweetheart you haven't done ANYTHING to upset me, you don't need to apologize."

Sweetheart? He has never called me that before. And he began to unlock the cuffs. When I was free he took the gag out of my mouth allowing me to breathe.

"You are just incredibly naïve. I never intended on really giving you this power, and I don't intend on having you stay around with me for much longer, unless of course I can find some use for you. But I don't love you, I just needed a pawn to practice my magic on until I could become strong enough to get rid of those meddling ponies. I don't fall for friendship, and I certainly don't fall for LOVE. Though you're loyal to me and trust me I can just control hundreds of innocent ponies to do that." Discord chuckled.

My eyes burned with tears as he held onto me I was in so much pain emotionally and physically. I knew something like this might happen, but I never imagined it to be this much painful. I guess that's what happens when you tuly love someone it hurts that much.

"Don't cry my dear, I know it hurts. But soon you won't have to worry about it anymore...."

I held onto him tight and felt his soft fur brush up against my face. My face was growing red from trying to hold back the tears but it wasn't working. My tear stained face was a mess. Suddenly Discord's red eyes turned black...

"I'm sorry..... Please don't hate me..."

"Ugh! Do you really think she'll still care about you after all this?"

"This is all your fault! If you weren't still here Equestria would have been mine by now."

"But Twilight Sparkle and her friends would turn us into stone, besides isn't it friendship that you've wanted?"

"No! It's what they keep trying to make me think I want! Besides she gave me something better then friendship, love. And now I'm about to banish her and make her think it was an all too real dream. She'll hate me, because of you."

"It's for her own good. She's a young child, she might care about us but you can't have her."

"If you refer to yourself as me one more time, I make sure your banished to Tartarus for eternity!"

"I'm sorry Discord...But it's the way things have to be..."

Discord eyes turned back into their normal red color.

"Discord? Are you alright?" I asked.

"No, I'm not. Your interfering with my plans and I-"

"Stop it! Get out!"

"No, I'm sorry. But she will leave even if I have to break both of your hearts."

"If you touch her one more time, so help me! I'll make sure you never see Celestia again!"

"Must you always be so violent?"

"BE QUIET! LEAVE ME BE!

"No..." Discord said, "Your going to leave, for good." He told me.

For the first time I did something I never thought or wanted to do. I ran. I tried as hard as I could to get away from him. But he simply smiled and laughed.

"Running won't help you, I will find you."

Now my mind was so mixed up, pain, anger, and sadness flooded my head so I began to do things I quickly regretted.

"Stay away from me!" I yelled. No! What did I say?

"You can't escape me..." Discord's voice echoed and it scared the heck out of me.

No matter where I ran there was always a wall to hold me in, I couldn't move. Discord was in front of me, I was trapped. His insane smile for the first time scared me, I was beginning to act insane!

"Don't touch me!" I screamed.

"Aww, are you scared of ME?" Discord's eye was beginning to twitch.

"Leave me alone you....." No I couldn't say it. I promised myself I would never EVER call him that no matter how angry I was. But the word escaped my lips too quickly. "...monster..."

For a split second Discord looked hurt, but that changed and I saw his twisted smile again. I hated myself, I loathed myself. Why! Why had I done all this?

"So I'm a monster? So be it, but you still have nowhere to go...."

I dropped to the ground and hid in between my legs. My clothes were soaked with tears.

"Don't worry sweetheart, you'll NEVER have to deal with me again." He said in a mocking tone. "I love you..."

"No you don't..." I barely managed to whisper under my breath.

Quickly I jumped up and grabbed onto his fur just as he snapped his talons. I'll never see him. The last sound I heard was a deep scream.

I'm back home. I watch My Little Pony, but it's different. The characters seem to be glaring at me in an angry way. Discord doesn't look at me at all. Only once did he look up at the screen and it looked he was trying to say 'I'm sorry.' But I don't know to whom. My life will never be the same, every night will end in tears. But it's better this way, I'm happy.... Even though I never smile.

Fictional characters are real, some love you and some you can never get over I'm not the only who misses the old Discord but it would have been better if Keep Calm and Flutter on hadn't happened. But you decide, I'm not in control anymore. I wish I could be playing with him again, but I still have the mind of a child and Discord isn't real.
