"Are we going to talk about it?"
I sighed as tore my gaze from the bonds wrapped around my hands, restraining me from using my hands very efficiently. I was currently on my knees in front of Twilight, Star, and the rest of my friends. They all stared at me with an intense disappointing look in their eyes, almost as if they wanted me to confess my sins and everything I've ever done wrong. Ever since the suicide attempt several days ago, I've been in this very position, my hands tied up like this.
For seven days I've been questioned for why I committed this so called crime, and why I had the desire to kill myself so much. I didn't have the heart to tell them why I pulled that trigger, neither did I have the heart to tell them how I survived. Osiris is still trying to convince me that what I did was supposed to kill me,that a bullet to the head should've put me down. There's a reason I'm not worried about the Threstral poison flowing through me, because I know I can't die.
I only figured it out a few weeks ago, and I didn't know how to tell to anyone, I was so shocked. Nightmare Moon, or Luna, made me immortal. I can't age nor can I die from age, meaning I will live forever unless I die by murder or some other physical cause. I can still take damage and I can still be hurt, but it takes severe damaging means to actually hurt me. It's something that is a curse and a miracle, but it depends on your perspective.
"Democles, you need to tell us why you did what you did." Twilight said in front me, her eyes staring into my visor. They placed the helmet over my head after taking my weapons from me, so in the case that I do manage to retrieve my weapons, the bullet wouldn't puncture my helmet. Not to mention that my appearance is appalling and quite frankly, I look extremely sickly. I narrowed my eyes as I prepared to say the first words I said in a week.
"There's no reason for us to speak about this, it happened and it's over. We should worry about the missing food and starving foals in this town. You don't need to worry about a person who can't get ill, who can't get die, who can't eat, sleep, or drink. I don't needyour pity, nor do I need your help. You fucking ponies are too helpful for your own good, it's going to get you killed one of these days. Now, untie me and let me help the ponies that actually need help." I say coldly, narrowing my eyes at Twilight behind my visor as I stand up, towering over everyone in the room.
"Wait, you can't die? What happened to you dying in four years?" Rainbow Dash asked, standing up off of her haunches and walking over to me. I tightened my hands and clenched them into fists, flames appearing at my knuckles and engulfing my hands in a sky blue flame. The bonds were slowly catching ablaze and soon enough they were melting away, setting my hands free. I rubbed my wrists as I stared down at Rainbow, my eyes following hers.
"I'm immortal, at least I am according to fucking Luna. That doesn't mean I'm not dying, though." I say, crouching down to eye level. I glance around at everyone in the room consisting of Twilight, Star, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy. I narrowed my eyes as I slide my helmet off, placing it on the ground next to me. Still staring at Rainbow Dash, I raised my right hand and gripped a piece of flesh, peeling it off. I flung it to the side and tapped at my exposed skull, sending a shiver down my spine.
"How are you still alive? I can see your skull." Star remarks, pointing out the massive elephant in the room. Everyone had a worried expression plastered across my face, all of them reaching toward my weapons. I grab my helmet and place it back over my head, once again covering up my unhealthy face. Before anyone could make a run for my weapons, I walk over to them and sling my rifle over my shoulder, my pistol sliding into it's holster. I pulled out the picture of my sister and I, eyeing it absentmindedly as everybody shifted around on their hooves.
"Demo, you need medical help." Twilight starts off, but I turn around and approach her, gazing down at her.
"No, I don't. What I do need is for you all to kindly fuck off before you make me use my pistol for the first time in a week. Now, let's go find food for starving foals, as in children. I'm an adult, I can fucking handle myself." I growled, swinging the door open. Everyone exchanged glances with each other before following me outside, closing the door behind them. I sighed as I saw all the tables set up with rations to ponies in town.
For the past week or so, the amount of food has been dwindling down. We had to cut down and ratio out one meal everyday so we can save the last remaining food we own. Foals eat first and they eat the most, with mares being second, and stallions being last in line. It has caused some problems the first few days, but we handled. We tried sending out for help from Canterlot, but all the shipments have been intercepted, and this happens everytime they send out ponies.
My eyes scanned over one of the tables and see a stallion starting to push through the line of foals and mares. I ball up my fists as I stomp over to him, ignoring the group of ponies watching me. He reaches out to grab a plate, but I slam the plate down on the table. He scoffs and tries again, but that's when I lost my temper. I yank the plate off the table and grip the stallion by the mane as I drag him away from the line and into the center of the feeding center.
"What are you going to do, force feed me?" He asks, laughing softly to himself.
"That's the plan." I snarled, smashing the plate on the ground, shards of glass clattering onto the ground. I forced the stallion to the ground by his mane and held him down, picking up a piece of glass. I forced his mouth open as I shoved the glass into his open muzzle, punching him in the maw. Blood starts leaking out of the corners of his mouth as he involuntarily chews on the shard. I punch him again and he swallows it, whimpering as he stares at me, eyes flowing from his giant eyes.
"You think it's cool to steal food from foals and mares? Do you think you're better than us or them, is that it? Well, listen here Mister Fucking Hack, you're nothing. You're trash, garbage. I will make it my life's .mission to make sure you eat nothing until you eventually wither away and die from starvation, or do you want me to just kill you right now? Either way, you're gonna' die, and you have yourself to thank for that. Now, what's your decision?"
"K-K-K-Kill m-m-"
"Alright." I say, yanking out pistol and firing a shot into his forehead. I hear screams and loud gasps around me, but I ignore it as I light up my hand and set his limp corpse on fire, making it turn into a pile of ash. I scooped it up into the palms of hands and blowed on it, watching it whisk away into the wind. I stand up and holster my firearm, walking toward the tree I usually hang out at. It's also the one I tried to commit suicide at, but I failed.
As I begin to make my way to my favorite tree, I hear Star galloping behind me. I also hear the telltale sign of Rainbow Dash because of the intense wing beats that's going through my ears. I step onto the first wooden stair used to ascend the steep hill, and it creaks under me as I walk up the stairway and towards the tree. Star is shouting my name, along with Rainbow, but I block it out and sit down on the ground, leaning back so my back is against the tree itself. Star and Rainbow finally catch up with me, flustered.
"Demo! Why did you kill that stallion?! There was foals right there!" Rainbow screams into my ear, pushing me with her cyan hoof. I grip her by that same hoof and shove the barrel of my gun into her mouth, making her eyes widen extensively. I glare at her through my visor for a moment before I pull out my pistol and place it on the ground next to me, sitting back down. Rainbow looks nervous while Star has rage seeping from his eyes.
"WHO GIVES YOU PERMISSION TO GO SHOOTING PONIES IN FRONT OF FOALS AND MARES, DEMO! YOU'RE LUCKY I HAVEN'T CALLED THE GUARD YET, THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, STOP ACTING LIKE A LITTLE FILLY AND GROW UP!" Osiris is practically screaming in my mind right now as I calmly stand up and pick up the pistol, my finger on the trigger. Rainbow starts to back up as I pistol whip Star in the maw, making him stagger back.
When his guard is down, I kick him in the chest and he flies back, tumbling and rolling down the hill. Rainbow flies off towards Twilight's house as I descend down the wooden stairs, loading my pistol idly. Star lands at the bottom of the hill with a gash on his face, blood drizzling down his cheek. He stands up and buckles down again as I approach him, my hand cocking the firearm resting in my palm. He looks up at me before I kick him in the stomach, flipping him over to his stomach. I rest a foot on his chest as he pants, and I aim the pistol at his head.
"Who gives you the right to but into my life and try to involve yourself into it? Does it look like I want to be here, in this hellhole of a world? If it wasn't for your bitch you call your princess, I would be happily buries in the ground and dead. If I want to go shooting people, then I will go shooting people because I have nothing to live for here! I could care less about Luna or Nightmare Moon, you could all die, I don't fucking care! I don't fucking care!
"Do you know it's like to know that you can't die? To know that you can never have the rest you deserve, that to know you will live as long as there is a life to live? I will be here longer then your precious Celestia or Luna will, I have to be on this fucking planet forever! I can't eat, sleep, or even use the restroom anymore, I don't even feel like I'm Human anymore! For fuck's sake, my body is slowly deteriorating and soon enough, I'll be a fucking skeleton who can't fucking die!" I said, staring at Star.
I stood off of him and started to walk away when I was forced to the ground, Star tackling me to the dirt road. I pushed him off of me and laid on my back as he tried to hurt me, but failed miserably. His hooves striked my helmet several times, but it just bounced off my golden visor. He laid into me until Rainbow and our other friends arrived, Twilight in tow. She levitated Star off of me, his body thrashing around in the air as he shouted and attempted to get back at me.
"I will buck you up, Demo! We don't need you! Just leave, nobody wanted you here anyway, you freak," He yelled at me, making everyone gasp around us. I stood up and dusted myself off as I felt a finger along my visor, my index finger brushing up against a crack. I lowered my hand again as I turned around and began walking away from them, towards the edge of town, near Sweet Apple Acres. "Good, leave! Go buck yourself, you useless piece of shit! I hate you!"
I reached a hill that overlooks Applejack's orchard and I propped myself up against a tree, sliding down to the ground as I stared at the Sun floating high in the sky, taunting me. I dropped my helmet to the ground as I rubbed my face with my hands, feeling skin ripping itself away from my face. At this point in time, it's only a matter of time until I'm nothing but bones, the only thing keeping me together being this armor. That, or, be a pony.
"Osiris, how long?" I ask, squinting my eyes as I stare up at the Sun, it's yellow and orange radiance glowing over the land.
"Four weeks, three days, twelve hours, thirty-nine minutes, and seventeen seconds until your body completely and utterly decomposes. It's either you be a skeleton and not feel alive, or you walk around hooves. Seems like an easy decision, but nothing is easy with you, Demo." I sigh as I peel another huge patch of skin, revealing my hard skull below. Osiris is right, but... I'm giving up my Humanity either way, but which way is the best?
"Osiris? Is there anyway you can speak to me if I'm a pony?"
. "I was implanted into your mind by Luna, so you're stuck with me. Unless, of course, if someone were to rip out a certain part of your brain that contains me, then I'll be gone forever. But, I doubt you'll be sleeping on a rusty boat and get a piece of your brain taken out by a weird ferryman, so there's nothing to worry about. Unless, you are stupid enough to do that. Which you are." Osiris mutters in my mind, forcing me to chuckle.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Osiris."
"Hey Demo, do you think what Star said about you, do you think he meant it?"
"Probably, I don't know. All I know is we fucked each other, huge sausage fest, I tell you." I reply, the urge to laugh rising.
"You're immature for a thirty-year-old-man, you know that Demo?"
"I try my best. Being the only Human left in existence will do that to a guy, although I think this is just some weird nightmare and I'm still at the stadium, but that must be the Whiskey talking."
"Demo, you haven't had alcohol in a few months, how could you be drunk?"
"I'm drunk off Life. It's like beer. It fucking sucks, but you still have to make do with what you got."
"What happened to the murderer, huh Demo?"
"I just hate people, not to mention I'm pissed." I say, tilting my head around to see if anyone is coming this way. Thankfully, no one has tried following me.
"Why are you pissed?" Osiris says, acting like I'm a little kid throwing a hissy fit.
"I just am. Sometimes I get angry, so suck a dick." I respond, flipping off the Sun. I smirk before lowering my hand again. Before I could say anything or Osiris could, something struck me extremely hard in the back of my head, knocking me to the ground. I glance over to my helmet and internally berate myself for being an idiot and not keeping my guard up. As I drift into unconsciousness, I feel myself being dragged towards Ponyville. I never get off easy, do I?

As I start to slowly raise my eyelids, my vision is assaulted by a bright light and I quickly shut them, the light making my eyes tear up. After my eyes adjusted to the light source that temporarily blinded me, I felt around for my helmet when I realize that I'm not Human and instead I'm in my Alicorn form, and that I'm tied up. My hind legs are connected to the legs on the chair and my forehooves are bind together on my lap. My chest is wrapped around the chair and a gag was shoves into my mouth.
Another thing I noticed that was I was in Twilight's basement, where she keeps all her machines for testing and experimenting. They were square in shape and the color scheme was dark silver, screens with lines jumping around on them and wires running from the machine to my right forehoof, paper pumping out of the machine, consisting of my blood pressure, heart rate, how much I weigh, what my height is, and things similar. I hear a door creak open and Star descends down the stairs, a knife balanced on his back. The girls soon followed, all of them looking pretty pissed.
I eyed Star with my black, cold eyes as he approached me, biting the blade by the handle and pressing it against the top of my ear. He grunted as he slowly began to saw into my ear, blood pouring out. I gritted my teeth as he eventually sliced through to the other side, the top portion of my equine ear dropping to the ground. I saw Rainbow turn around and puke onto the ground, wiping her mouth as she turned back around to face me. He placed the tip of the blade right under my left ear, and I bit my tongue.
In one quick, swift motion, he brought the blade up and through my eye, utterly swiping through it. I screamed into the gag in my mouth as blood gushed out of my now permanently damaged eye, my eyelid closed to help alleviate the pain, but it's useless. Star dropped the knife onto the wooden ground, it clattering around until it settled down, blood covering the tip and side of the blade completely, leaking onto the ground and creating a tiny puddle.
Star punched me in the temple, sending my head to the right. He swung again and my head was forced to the left, blood drizzling out of my nostrils. I glanced over and saw the heart rate information change, papers printing out of the machine. Twilight was standing over there, studying over the results, ignoring everything Star is doing to me. I sigh into my gag as he picks up the knife again, positioning it over my left hoof. He plunged it inside and is cutting upwards, blood washing out of the wound and covering my whole hoof, dripping onto the ground. I screamed in agony as he continued, until Rainbow interrupted.
"Star! That's enough!" She screamed out, but the Pegasus continued to torture me. He pulled the blade out and pressed it against the side of my mouth, on my cheek. He sliced through, cutting for a moment before throwing the knife to the side, walking away from me and towards Rainbow. You can practically see inside my mouth, and I closed my eyes and panted into my gag, just wanting to rest like I deserved. Rainbow glocked Star right in the maw, making him rub it gingerly.
"Well, the results are in. Demo has class three Threstral poison in his veins, but something is fighting it off, it's making absolutely no progress. His power levels are, well... Above twelve-thousand, that's higher than Princess Celestia, Discord, and Nightmare Moon. He's suffering from multiple-personality-disorder and it's tearing his mind apart, but Osiris is helping every way she can. Besides that, he's suffering withdrawal from something called S.A.E." Twilight calls out, catching everyone's attention.
I hear Twilight's magic flare and the wires are removed from my forehoof, along with the bonds restraining me, including the gag in my mouth. I fall to the ground and I feel raw power form at my fetlocks, a purple mist working it's way up my hooves and my body, my eyes burning as they turn white and glow. My wings flare out as all my injuries heal themselves instantly as I stand up, my eyes narrowing on Star hiding behind Rainbow.
"Star! Run!" Twilight states, enveloping me in her magical field. Star takes to flight and flies up the stairway and out the front door, Twilight's magic holding me in place. My horn glows brightly as the lavender unicorn's magic is cut off, a shock going through her body and making her go into unconsciousness. Using this as a distraction, I drop to the ground and stomp my way up the stairs, a purple flame left on the ground after each step I take.
I make it up the stairs and I'm about to exit when Rainbow Dash tackles me, sending me out the front door and onto the ground. We roll and tumble around until she's on top, trying to hold me down. I raise a hoof and press it against the side of her head, a small cloud of purple mist entering through her ear and make her get off of me and lie down on the ground, curling into a ball. The purple mist leaves her and connects itself back to my body.
I spot Star and he's charging towards me, a sword in his mouth. My horn glows brightly and he slows down efficiently, where I could grab him. I yank the sword out of his mouth and materializes in my magic field, turning into a small pile of ashes. It drops to the ground and I grip Star's head with my hooves, the purple mist flowing around my hooves as they fly into his ear. I drop him as Twilight and the rest of her friends run up, eyeing their surroundings.
"You need to calm down, Democles." Twilight said, almost pleadingly as she takes small steps forward.
"I am perfectly calm, Twilight. I just set a calm spell on Rainbow and Star because they attacked me." I say, staring into Twilight's purple pupils as she gazes into my pure white orbs.
"When do they wear off?" Twilight inquires, shooting a glance at Rainbow's and Star's motionless forms. I glanced at them for a second before I turned my head back to her, stepping closer.
"Shortly. I, however, feel extremely weak and I need to rest." As if on cue, my legs buckle underneath me and I make it halfway to the ground before Pinkie and Fluttershy rush to my rescue, letting me lean on them. I open my mouth to say something else, but I close it as my eyelids grow heavy. I'm carried into the library, along with Rainbow and Star, and I'm laid onto a bed, my forehooves resting at my sides and my legs spread wide open. I soon fall into sleep's sweet embrace, but before I do completely, a voice calls out, but it's faint.
"The Light Of Day Will Soon Make Way For The Dark Of Night..."

Three Days Later
The past three days have passed rather uneventful, besides the fact that everyone is starving in town. Every plea for help turns wrong because it just means that more and more people are being killed, so we decided to stop asking for help and just deal with it ourselves. We're still sticking to the old system, and stallions are thinking twice about cutting in front of foals and mares after what I did to the last stallion who tried to steal food from children and women.
I've been quiet for these three days, not saying a single word, not even to Osiris. I realized how much of an asshole I was this week and I figured that if I don't say anything at all, there will be no point in blowing some poor fool's brains out. Star, Twilight, and Rainbow have been trying to start a conversation with me, but I either just plain out ignore them or walk away. Even Star's offer for sex I denied, and I never deny sex at any time, except now.
My eyes scan over a stallion and he pushes a little foal out of the way, galloping to the front for a meal. I align the iron sights with his head and pull the trigger, a bullet flying through his head. I duck down on the rooftop I'm sitting on, not wanting anyone to see who killed that stallion right their. I hear screams and shouts, but I ignore it as I cock my rifle, the regenerator working hard to replace the shot I just fired moments ago. After a few minutes, I return to spying.
"So, you want to talk?" I hear Star's voice call out and he soon lands behind me, walking next to me. I ignore him as my eyes gaze over all the feeding centers, looking for any potential trouble-makers. Star sighs as he leans against me, his head resting on my shoulder. I was crouched down, and when I am, ponies are usually eye-level with me, with the exception of foals. He pawed at me with his hoof, rubbing all over my shoulder. I rolled my eyes behind my visor, exactly knowing what he's trying to do.
"Demo, I'm so horny. I need a big, meaty cock to satisfy me. You wouldn't deny little ole' me, would you, Demo?" I tilted my head at him for a second before glancing over at the feeding station one last time. The last of the foals and mares are finishing up, so the stallions can't cause trouble by trying to steal from them. I turn around and sit in front of Star, placing my rifle to the side. Osiris muttered in my mind as I felt my body change and I smirked at Star as I pulled him onto the ground.
Before we could start anything though, a scream resounded in the marketplace. It sounded like a small child, about eight or nine? I hopped up and Osiris mumbled in my mind, switching me back to a Human. Star looked confused, just laying on the ground with his legs spread open. I snatched my rifle as I leaped over the building, my legs hitting the ground. I glanced around before I heard another scream, and I took off towards the source of the scream. I arrived at an alleyway and I felt my arms starting to catch on fire as I witnessed what is in front of me.
Laying on the ground is a small filly, her bright orange coat battered and grimy. Her mane and tail are a beautiful cobalt blue, and her wings flittered at her sides. I raised my rifle as I stomped towards the two ponies, one of them being a mare and the other a stallion. They watched in horror as the flames engulfed my shoulders and made it's way up the side of my head. My finger rested on the trigger as I approached the filly, my eyes locked on the two ponies.
"What happened?" I growled, slowly and carefully resting my palm against her as lines of golden healing energy flowed around her unconscious form. Her chest rised and fell slowly, but she was breathing nonetheless, thank God. The two mysterious ponies shifted around on their hooves as I pumped waves of healing power into the poor foal's body, healing the wounds whom ever inflicted on her. I aimed the iron sights at stallion as I finished healing her, picking her up carefully.
"I... We... She... S-She had food and we w-were starving, so we... S-Stole it." After he confessed to me, I stood up, towering over the both of them. I fired a shot into the stallion's chest, striking him dead in the heart. The mare whimpered as I adjusted the filly in my right arm, making sure she was comfortable. I glared at the mare before I exited the alleyway, walking to Twilight's house before I paused. I changed my direction and went towards Fluttershy's cottage at the edge of the Everfree Forest.
I arrived shortly and knocked a few times, hearing shuffling from within. A few seconds later, Fluttershy opened the door and looked up at me, fear present on her face. I crouched down so I was at eye level and I motioned to the filly nestled in my arms, silently asking her to look over the foal. She seemed to understand and took the sleeping filly into her hooves as she hovered in the air. I nodded and left before she assaulted me with a barrage of questions.
"That was extremely kind of you, Demo." Osiris suddenly piped in, making me sigh and shake my head. That filly shouldn't have been in this situation in the first place, fucking ponies. The lack of food is slowly driving this town apart and I was in the middle of it, it seems like. I was about to return to my original position to watch over the feeding centers to assure this wouldn't happen again, when I eyed Rainbow Dash tackling Star into the library, the rest of her friends following behind, excluding Fluttershy. I made my way over and hid behind a bush.
"You have invisibility, Demo." Osiris pointed out, making me facepalm. Or visor palm, or is it the same thing? Ah well, who cares. I activate the invisibility cloak as I slink into the tree house, sitting in the corner of the room as Rainbow laid hit after hit into Star until Twilight levitated her off of him, making her struggle in the air in the lavender unicorn's magical grasp. I observed silently as the two Pegasi argued to each other, surprisingly, over me.
"Why did you have to torture Demo like you did three days ago?! Because of that, he won't speak to any of us! Not to mention, you saying you hate him and he's a freak! You probably broke him, Star." Rainbow stopped thrashing around and just laid limp in the air, gazing at Star. I eyed the both of them with my eyes narrowed, my rifle in my hands. I never thought about what Star said about me, I was too pissed to care. Rainbow is dropped to the floor as Star musters up the courage to talk.
"It's just... He's out of control! He killed that one stallion in front of all those fillies and colts, and mares! When I tried to speak to him earlier, he shot a stallion and killed him directly in front of a small filly!" Twilight's eye widened as she took in this information, her hooves shifting around and she looked uncomfortable. What's going on in that mind of yours, Twilight? Star stands up as he rubs at his neck, the fur sticking up.
"If what you're saying is true, then we need to contact the Princess and Guard." Twilight states quickly, glancing around at all the ponies in the room.
"As much as I hate to say this, but Twilight is right." Star pipes in, making my eyebrow rise. Well, no sex for weeks, buddy. Osiris chuckles in the back of my mind at my thought and I smirked for a moment, before it's wiped off my face.
"Where is he now?" Twilight asks, a scroll and quill levitating in the air next to her.
"Last time I saw him, he went to investigate a scream we heard in the marketplace. I haven't seen him since." Star informs Twilight, who is scribbling away on the piece of parchment.
"Good, Star and Rainbow, go look for him as I contact Princess Celestia and get her to come down here. Rarity and Pinkie, go fetch Fluttershy and bring her back. Applejack, I need you to stay here with me just in case Demo arrives here and I need help restraining him." Everyone nods, hesitatingly, and leaves the two mares. I smirk as I stand up and walk over to Twilight, bopping her on the nose as I walk out of the library and towards the edge of Ponyville.
"What are you doing?" Osiris says, as I look to the West.
"Freeing a certain princess who owns my soul." I reply as I adjust the strap on my shoulder, my rifle clinking against my armor.
"How? The Lunar Facility is at the edge of Equestria, it will take weeks." Osiris sounds off, making me chuckle.
"That's why we're gonna' get walking now."
