Subtle Strike was one of the most timid pony you'll every meet. Always in the background. So when he joined the army, he thought that he was going to be safe. But King Sombra came back. No one knew how, but he was back, and once again, he is trying to take over the Crystal Empire. Much more inclined to a peaceful resolution, Subtle Strike, with his best friend, Flash Sentry, go for peace talks. You could say it was successful.
