Destition: Approx.100000 miles from and heading towards Canterlot.

Date: September 24, 4023 (Earth Time)

Time: 10: 42 A.M. (Canterlot Time)

Objective: Protect future Head Princess as she makes her speech, regarding the assassination of Celestia, Luna's decline, and her accession.

Spike, new leading commander with Celestia's chosen crew, before she passed away from an unknown accomplice, sat next to the Future Head Princess, Celestia's star student, Youngest Immortal, His objective to protect, and, above all, his older step sister that gave him a home. For most of his life, he used to walk around freely with the lack of clothing when he was young, letting the scales & spines all over his back, his claws scratching the surface of the floor, and not feeling a single burden on him. However, that was nearly ten years ago, back when he was only considered a 'Baby Draco', and not what he is today.

His suit, unlike all the other security, stood out: the color around his whole body was purple; a color he specifically chose as a way to remember Twilight; with green shoulder pads, knee pads, elbow pads, a stripe on his back; where his green, matching spines stood out, giving him some breathing space in his back area; and across his chest area from the waist to his neck. He also had on purple matching, military grade, fingerless gloves to allow his claws stick out more easily &, for a better reason, couldn't fit in regal gloves without them being shredded to a million pieces and had on a white belt around his waist area, holding his pistol, assault rifle, medicine, grenades, and deployable shields. His helmet was designed to look a bit like a dragon, the mythical beast his species were named after: it was the same color as his suit, including the visor & 'Mowhawk' being green as the rest (though the visor was tinted a bit darker), and, painted on it, was white grin that had rows of triangular shaped teeth, most likely as a way to scare enemies away. Wearing a suit didn't feel so natural to him: it felt as if something was clinging on to him for life, never letting go, but he didn't want to complain about it: Celestia designed this for him before she was killed, and she was Twilight's teacher & mother figure, making her a bit of a mother to him. The ride to Canterlot felt forever, and Spike took off his helmet: with the exception of his two small duds of teeth that stuck out all the time, and seeing his scaly body, especially around the neck area, most citizens would believe him as one of them, with a pretty light skin, a somewhat untamed green hair style that made him look like an 'anime character's', and green eyes that, when in danger or in dark areas, the iris would become catlike.

Twilight, next to him, had on her coronation dress from when she became an Immortal from that day, complete with it being pink, fading into white at the very it she bottom area, and yellow trims around her neck, sleeves, and in between the pink & white areas all around her. She had on, underneath it all, had the same space she wore all the time since she was only a little girl, growing as she did, never needing to be replaced. Her violet eyes, followed by her Sapphire Blue hair with a rose streak and another streak that matched her eyes, along with her light gray mulberry wings, made her look like an elegant creature, shadowing his own, though not fully, hideous features. She also had on her Tiara, shaped as a star with a red gem inside, along with golden slippers and gloves with gold weaved into it to give more of an elegant look. The two sat next to each other, not sure what to say after not seeing each other for up to two years. Despite having a lot of security around, and they sat next to each other for nearly an hour, they both haven't spoke to each other.

"So..." Twilight spoke, breaking the silence. Spike turned his head to see his sister's face, who looked back at him. "How... is it being the first Draco commander?"

"...First and youngest commander." Spike corrected "I feel honored, actually."

"Oh... you know, I never thought we'd be seeing each other like this."

"Neither did I."

"Do... you have any idea who could've done it?"

"I have no clue."

"Oh." They went back to their silence state.

"If... it makes you feel better, I will gladly use whatever you give me to find this perpetrator."

"I... don't think that will work."

"...perhaps you're right." They stayed silent again.

"I miss Celestia already."

"Yeah, me too."

"How was she yesterday?"

"She... was just as beautiful as the day I was hatched, and being just as kind as the last time you contacted her."

"That's... good to know." She leaned her head and placed it on Spike's shoulder. He shivered a bit, not wanting to ruin her look for her speech, but also heard her sniffle. He looked down and saw his sister letting out a few tears. Carefully, with his claw, he wiped a tear from her eye.

"Twilight, is there something wrong?"

"Oh Spike, how am I going to lead the galaxy as the new head princess??? I was barely able to lead Ponyville, but this is a huge Burden on me!!! Why did Luna not become head princess!?!?!?"

"...perhaps it's what Celestia would've wanted."

"What... do you mean?"

"Ever since you hatched me and went on all our crazy adventures together, Celestia saw a lot of potential in you, and perhaps she knew this would happen, so she needed an heir to the throne."

"You... really think so? Then why did't she have a child then?"

"... There's many reasons I can think of: Perhaps she couldn't find someone who just wanted the power; Maybe if she had children, the wouldn't be Immortals like her; or, more likely though, she's infertile. It doesn't take much of a genius to see that she looks at you as if you were her daughter, Twi." She sniffed a bit and let out a calm smile.

"Thanks Spike, that... makes it a bit better. Any idea what I should say during the speech?"

"Just... say what you need to say: I'll be next to you, acting as both security and morale support."

"Wow! That's just... thanks Spike, for everything!!!" She opened her arms and gave a warm hug towards the Draco. Spike blushed a bit, resisting the urge to push her away.

"Twilight, stop, I'm on duty."

"You're still my little brother, even if you were adopted and on patrol." She released him "I'm feeling much better now! We should change the topic: your choice!"

"Oh... well... how are your friends doing?"

"The girls, well-"

"We will be landing in T-Minus 5 minutes. Prepare for landing." The pilot spoke to them.

"I'm sorry," Spike said, getting up to leave the room "We'll discuss about this later. Remember: keep calm, look at the crowd, take deep breaths, and don't stutter."

"What if something bad happens?"

"Nothing should go wrong, and if something does... leave that me and the boys." Spike left and headed towards the front door, where a familiar angel with orange wings, matching his orange space grade suit, stood with, over it, near golden armor with his blue hair flowing a bit, stood.

"So," he spoke with confidence in his tone "think I have a chance with your sister?" Spike turned towards the Angel and growled a bit, causing the Angel to lose his smirk and stand in attention

"Not right now." Spike replied, going back to the opening hatch of the ship they were in. He, and all the other soldiers, stood in place as the ship landed slowly, safety, and gently as it could. The muffling of a huge crowd was outside, waiting for Twilight Sparkle to exit. The door to the room Spike left opened, and Twilight, being as elegant as possible, strolled to the opening entrance of their ship. She took a deep breath and covered her eyes, as the light outside shined inside, followed by a huge roar op citizens from nearly every part of the galaxy, cheering for her to some out. She took her steps outside, and Spike followed, having his right hand on his belt, carrying his weapons.
