My Dark Side

We are in a pickle here. As we tried to hold him back he was quickly gaining on us. The only remaining ponies standing are me, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. The rest were wiped out by King Sombra (The one we are trying to run from). I was badly injured and Rainbow Dash wasn’t in any better shape. We head towards the EverFree Forest. I didn’t like the idea of going in there but there was no other choice available so we ran into the forest.  Somehow we manage to flee from him even if it’s for a short time. I should probably explain what’s going on now. My name is Zero and the world as we know it has been covered in darkness and both Celestia and Luna have both been defeated in battle. I was afraid this would happen but I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. I grabbed the med pack from Fluttershy and I could tell she was in shock. I was just glad she got out unscratched.

“Don’t worry... I will make sure I don’t lose you or Rainbow Dash.” I told her.

She was on the verge and I nodded knowing that she wanted to be left alone. I walk over to Rainbow Dash and helped fix her wing and left hoof. She was also in shock and I don’t blame her since all our friends were killed in action. She thanked me and I smiled but only a little. I mean after all if we lose hope we may never get it back. Damn it! What can we do? I don’t want to lose anypony else but how can we fight back a monster who possess the powers of the Elements of Harmony. I slammed my hoof on a tree trying to figure out what to do. *Sigh* I couldn’t think of anything else other than protecting them. I don’t know what I would do if I lost them especially Fluttershy. I was then I heard something nearby. Was it Sombra? I continued to listen for the source of where it was coming from. I noticed a beam heading directly to us. Rainbow Dash also noticed this and got up. I yelled for them to move but she couldn’t. I was going too dashed towards them but my injuries prevented me from taking any quick actions. Fluttershy jumped in front of the beam and I was sent flying. Crap! He found us! I looked up and saw him looking down at us smiling as if we were pray. I took stance getting ready to fight for my life but it was then I noticed the beam hit Fluttershy. I couldn’t believe it... I failed to protect her. Rainbow Dash flew over and grabbed her.

“It’s too late.” He said with a smile.

He continued to smile and laugh at the sight of us. I was paralyzed with regret and hatred for not being able to protect her. Rainbow Dash was also in shock.

“I failed...” I mumbled.

Rainbow Dash didn’t say anything and I looked at was once the mare I loved and cared for... I was to weak to even protect her even after I said I would... I would make him pay! I would make him regret the day he was ever born! I stand up despite my injuries and look back at Sombra. I pointed my hoof at him getting ready to charge him but something in me called out. I could see a dark pony in my mind although it was impossible to tell what purpose it had but all I could tell was it was somepony that wanted to help. It wanted to help me stop him but it was dark power. I couldn’t just take this power I hesitated on if I should take this power or not. I looked back at the lifeless body that was once full of smiles and love. She wouldn’t want me to do this but... what other choice I have? It was ether death or fight. I shook my head and accepted this unknown power. I felt it taking over my body and I quickly noticed that my mane and coat had turned dark black and all injuries I had once had are gone. All the fear, my worries and sadness I had before was gone and I looked back at Sombra. He looked a little bit intimated but didn’t step back nor did he flee.

“GET READY FOR ME YOU SON OF A BITCH BECAUSE I’M GOING TO KILL YOU AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU DON’T COME BACK!” I yelled.

He just laughed at me. I jumped up and noticed that I could now blend with the ground (In other words teleport). He couldn’t tell where I was so I took the element of surprise. He looked around for me and he could tell where I was or where I would strike. He stomped his hoof sending spikes in front of him thinking I was in front of him.

“THE END HAS COME!” He yelled.

But little would he realize that I wasn’t in front of him I teleported behind him. Yea, for you it is...  I kicked him in the side of the stomach causing him to go flying. I dash to him hitting him with a barge of attacks and I was slowly starting to lose control of myself but I didn’t care. I just wanted him dead. I continued to attack him leaving him no chance to move or leave an opening. I attacked him though the wall and kicked a rock directly at him. Despite the barge of attacks I was sending him, he manages to recover and countered me by sending a beam directly at me. I evaded the attack and kicked another rock to him. It hit him stunning him the process. I land a few more hits on him but he jumped out of the way and started to call spikes on the ground.  I started to fly away from him as he started to attack. I was thinking of nothing but anger boiled me to kill him. He sent a beam at me in the process and I decided to knock the beam at him. My left hoof suffered a lot of damage but I didn’t care. As the beam was heading towards him I flew behind him and a kick behind him. I dragged him down as the beam hit him and I continued to land blow after blow. He continued to send spikes after me and I evaded all of them. I saw an opening and landed another I flew next to him and powered up my left hoof. He blocked it but the hit was still too powerful for him to endure. He layed on the ground for a short few seconds and got back up. He laughed as he got up.

“You can’t stop me! If Luna and Celestia couldn’t stop me, what makes you think you can?!” He asked angrily.

I noticed that my left hoof was gone from the hit but I felt no pain coming from it nor did I care. I walked towards him despite the injuries I had. He started to charge his beam and I noticed that my left hoof regenerated. I didn’t question it as it only helped me. I stopped as he was charging his attack. He sent his attack at me and I just looked as it was getting closer and closer. Just as the attack was inches from my face, I kicked the attack up and flew at him. I flew behind him and almost hit him but he blocked it just in time. We traded hit after hit and he wasn’t showing any weakness nor was he starting to slow down. He landed a hit sending me flying towards a rock. I saw a shadow orb in my hand. I didn’t know what it would do but I slammed it on the ground causing a large dark circle surrounding us. He charged at me but then multiple versions of me showed up in front of him. I grinned as he had the look of surprise on his face. I...
