A Black Knight For Chrysalis

Chrysalis was on her weekly hunting mission with three trusting changeling guards,they were disguised as earth ponies.  When they came across a black lump in the distance.  The lump seemed to radiate love in an unknown way; It just seem to radiate love.  but there was another fact that was in play. Whatever this black lump was, it was giving off  all the dying signature.  In fact it was starving!

Chrysalis intrigued by this black lump radiance of love freely given without a care, she HAD to prolong it's life.

"Scarab, Dung Beetle, Roach, come with me!, we are going to the  love source. We must bring back to the hive at all cost!!Alive!!!!" Chrysalis barked. "yes ma'am!!!"  Chorus the guards.

The trek home took an hour or so , with very little  whining from her guards, she allowed them to feed and restored their strength from the love that poured out of the biped.It seemed semi-unconscious, although it seemed more unconscious than conscious.  Chrysalis kept feeding it bread and water, though it seem  like a feudal effort. Three quarters of the way to the hive, she went strate to magical life support methods.

Shadez P.O.V.

Well that's the *last** time I go by summon air anywhere.  All I can do is hope to have my  dark beacon holds out till someone finds me and resuscitate me with magic.  Mana! it's hot, u could char broil a steak on my hide.  Ummmm... STEAK!  Must be the heat because im starting to be delirious.  What I wouldn't do for a nice tall glass of lotust'ed black mandrake juice.Yeah! that'll be the ticket, thick black muck oozing down my throat would feel sooooo gooood! Is that somebody off in the distance?  Fuck!!! no. I see bronze-arm walking on all four, and in a desert no less I thought I was in fire people country!*

Oh no! Bronze-arm tribe members are from the earth civilization, if they find me i'm pretty much ectoplasm.  Better adjust my frequency, Fire, Darkness and Water.

There still coming... huw???  there carrying me somewhere, at least they will kill me somewhere cool.

Ugh! Bread and water, well at least I know their diet.  Even though it does nothing for me, Wuzthis??  I can feel darkness magic pumped in into my system, filling my reserve only, it must be medical magic.

Darkness for healing. Who'd of thought that was even possible.  Who's that!?  Those stagnant green eyes, those wicked fangs, that twisted horn, that overwhelming sense and aura of superiority.  Do I smell a touch of musky dankness and poisonous flowers? into the void of darkness...........

I find myself in a granite room, several nurses are pumping that strange medical magic into my body, i sneak a tendril and drained one of them of their magic.  "Darkness magic, where all wishes are granted no matter the cost".  Or that's what my momma use to say.  I snagged another one of these black insectoid creatures, the other two are starting to catch on. I catch the one closest to me, drained her of her magic, but in my weakened state i'm too slow to catch the last. Maybe this is a good thing, maybe he'll bring back others

Nurse Weevil P.O.V.

I knew he was bad news, I knew he was bad news, I knew he was bad news!  But does anybody listen to Weevil!? No!  Say Weevil imagine' big, dark, scary energy in room.  Now Weevil was right.Now Weevil was right!  Must warn hive , must tell Chrysalis. Chrysalis wanted to know everything that happened, Maggots! do I have something to tell!

Concerned looks came through the hive mind collective, those rantings could only come from one changeling.  Weevil Mosswood.  Nutcase, conspiracy theorist and nurse extraordinaire.  The one changeling that could mend a broken bone and give you a headache at the same time.

The nurse drone scuttled through the halls of the nest, as fast as his little legs can carry him.  He made it to Chrysalis chamber in record time. "Ahh! Weevil! Back so soon with a report? How is our patient?" Chrysalis purred silkily.  "Your Queen ship!  The creature is awake and attacking our nurses! Do u think it's wise to keep such a creature?"  Squeaked the drone.  "Are you assuming to give me orders?" Chrysalis asked the mused.  "Of course not my queen."  The smaller changeling cowered.  "Then see that you don't do so.  Now take me to the medic wing and disguise yourself as a guard pony.  I will disguise myself as a unicorn maid, perhaps we could trick him as he tricked us."

It took all about fifteen minutes for them to raise the alarm on my cell.  I managed to eaten a few guards clean out of their mana reverting them from the fearsome foes to black insects. Then I saw two forms, a grey bronze-arm tribe warrior in gold armor and a white bronze-arm tribe maiden with a horn upon her head. Yeah you heard me! a HORN!  But  i could smell her true form, she couldn't disguise her scent.

"Come Lass!  That form is much less than what you deserve.  It mars the beauty of your true form, I think I maybe in love, For you hold two things I hold dear, being a 1) demoness and being 2) powerful.  Congratulations!"

Chrysalis blinked.  She had never been praised for being a changeling before and being called powerful by this creature was kind of a turn on.  Dropping her ruse, she stepped into the chamber followed by a hesitant Weevil.  "clearly you do not fear us, but I have to say, why stay with us? There's so much ponies that will appreciate you more.  Now come tell me your name."

"Gladly! but I would like a tit for that tat, spill your name first and I'll gladly spill mine."  Chrysalis looked taken aback , no one knowing her true form, have ever talked back to her before or made demands, Yet here this creature was doing just that. and giving off the most male pheromones she had ever witnessed. She was getting the most uncomfortable sensation in her marehood.  "Chrysalis queen of the changelings. and you are?""Shadez no title of which to speak. Now my lovely toxic flower, tell me about yourself and your people, you have quiet the dark magic, best iv'e seen in years..."

The two dark entities talked until midnight until they were interrupted by screaming chatter throughout the hive mine. Chrysalis was immediately alerted and set the battle mode while Shadez took notice and merely followed in her wake. While she was dispatching soldiers and medics and sending teams of workers to inspect for damages and/or flaws.  Shadez just marveled at her authority and coordination, and made a mental note to see her in her bed chamber with that nice flank all to himself. It was a very nice flank. Yes a very nice flank indeed. "Chrysalis what take you to this beautiful posture? Surely an army isn't at your door, maybe I could be of service? NO? Very well."

Chrysalis looked at Shadez with equal annoyance and curiosity.  "The hive is being overrun  by a sphinx, prove your love to me and I will give you as many changelings as you desire for you to feed upon."  "Prove my love? You have all me wrong! I'm a heartless monster that breaks hearts for a hobby, and then drains them of all their mana, why would I be in love with you?  But eating these changeling would benefit me greatly,so show me the way to the manion. Come on! time is wasting and no being should waste time." Chrysalis raised a black  eyebrow at that and shook her head.

Cockroach P.O.V.

The Sphinx was gaining ground on the changeling guard.  Cockroach saw her comrades dying left and right, just as the sphinx was about strike.  time seemed to stop for Cockroach for the moment there wasn't a world at all, just an inky blackness of the void, but there was pain upon her chest and a metallic scent of blood in there air.  The last thing she gave to the hive-mind was "For my queen, I only regret that I only have one life to live."

"Buckaroo!  You shouldn't be all that dramatic, it tends to give me an irritation in unsightly places, Now we wouldn't want to have that? Would we? and you Harpie face I'll like to see you take on something a little more your speed, like some iron catnip. What's the matter? seagull got your tongue? Or you just chicken?"

"Why You snotty black wanna bee minator! You dare take on alpha dee sphinxa and insult her as well? you must be a mad, brave or stupid to an nth degree.  You have just sealed your doom. Lets dance!"

"And here I am without any dancing shoes, I guess i'll have to do with these dual cards. 'Lost souls of the tormented', 'lost souls of the forgotten' and 'lost souls of the fallen' I summon and cast 'Rush recklessly.' Now my spirits attack! show no mercy!"

As he spoke a black, a white, and a royal purple orb of spiritual light appeared wearing ghastly masks on their faces.  They lurched  and lunged forward each intent on eating its victim first.  The Sphinx put up a shield charm destroying two but leaving one shattered, drawing blood.  A ribbon of flesh scraped of the Sphinx's hide, she roared in agony and rage. Alpha dee sphinxa let loose a volley of wing beats causing the sand to blast around her like a sand storm.  "Why you impotent Welp, you will pay dearly for that, and I will make you pay dearly indeed 'royal thunder'.  A hail of electric arrows came down on Shadez and Cockroach. Shield trigger activate, 'one for another'  I discard bloody squeeto to protect my ally on the field from any damage, sorry soul of the lost you are dead to me." The arrows rained down demolishing the purple spirit and what looked like clear spider with four legs protected roach from damage by using itself a living shield.  Now my turn I cast the sword spell 'infectious wound' and follow up with grateful charity oh this one is just what i needed i sacrifice green dragon shield and my sword of Damacleez from my hand to keep these two new cards, and I cast 'casters rejoice' followed by'limp'.

Oooooh shitt! I didn't know a wing could bend like that  I had grounded the sphinx by crippling her left wing "better go into the battle fray and wrap this one up.My opponent is starting to bore me. " I strode up to the manion look-a-like and said as I plunged my claws deep into her chest, you will give me whatever I desire or I shall kill thee.  I will kill thou in a way most painful.  Now beg!  "  I blasted shock-waves of pure agony coursing throughout her body like river-lets of thunder.

"Yes anything you want i have jewels slaves i have land I have gold, silver take it all just leave me be" "I want the changelings you killed back.  i want every one of their souls in my grasp."

The eyes of alpha grew large with fear she a ten story tall sphinx to bring back the dead, nor was it in her ability to do so and her proverbial was cooked unless she did such a deed.  But she had a card to play come Tartarus or high water she was gonna play it. "I will only do it if I see you do it first, oh powerful foe."

"You do not seem to know who holds your life but if that's what it takes to bring back the chains of your slain so be it.'reborn the monster' " the purple orb emerged back to the field swirling back together. "welcome back spirit of the lost!"

Alpha dee spincta despaired for no way she could copy this creatures magic so she did the most logical thing one would do in her place. She ran, she ran like hell hound were burning at her heals.  The last conversation she heard was as follows cowardliness will get you no where. 'Polymerization '' soul of the lost' 'changeling guard' become one bring forth 'voice of the vanquished'! now my new friend I play potion to heal you what say you of judgement from your friends in the after life.  Her life save or forfeit ? Oh forfeit then? 'terror pit'!" And that was the last the sphinx heard from anyone.

cockroach picked herself and dusted off her beast-plate's arm and shoulder guards. huh I have arms?! wow i can pass for a Minotaur cow. and a damn good looking one too! as the sky once again turned blue, she stretched her gossamer wings and serrated horn. "could you help me out?  i took more damage than I expected and now I can't seem too move." said her champion prone on the ground. face giddy with joy.
