Twilight closed another book.

“Sigh...I've read this book of magic too.” she said to herself as sat down in a chair. “I've read every book here, twice. Maybe three times.”

She kept sighing as there were no more books with any new magic to learn. She kept looking through her books but still found nothing. She then had an idea, the Castle of the Two Sisters, maybe some new magic could be learned there. Then, she remembered that she had already looked all over that place. However, Twilight looked at her books again and sighed. She decided that she would go there anyways, there was nothing to learn here. She then went to the castle, searching every nook and cranny of the castle. There in a small corner, she saw a small book.

“Hmmm..I don't recognize this book.” she said as she flipped thru the pages in the book. Then she stopped, “This is....no way! This is spells for dream magic and dreamwalking! This must be the magic Princess Luna uses.”

Twilight paused for a moment, thinking if she should try the magic or not. Twilight then decided to take the book with her. When she got back to her house, she began flipping thru the pages of the book.

'Should I try this?' though Twilight as she flipped thru the book. 'It shouldn't get me in trouble if I did it, I think.'

It was night time now, and Twilight got up began trying the dreamwalking spell. Her horn shined greatly and before she knew it the world around her became hazy looking. She then looked around. 'How odd, everything is fuzzy hazy looking. Did the spell work?' she thought to herself.

She then looked at Spike who was already asleep. She then saw a bubble above Spike. 'Is this his dream?'

Twilight touched the bubble and was transported into the dream. She then saw mountains and mountains of gems.

“This is Spike's dream?! What a glutton!”

She began trying to climb the mountains of gems and saw eventually saw Spike. He was sitting there, eating hundreds of gems.

“Maybe I should leave... Spike seems pretty happy here.”

Twilight's horn shined and she exited the dream. She then looked and saw another dream bubble in her house. It was Owlowiscious's dream. Twilight giggled as walked over and touched the dream bubble. The dream she entered was a Paris-styled town and Twilight found her pet owl in an alleyway restaurant.

“Oh Owlowiscious, you're having a romance dream, huh?” Twilight said as she found her pet. Owlowiscious was sitting there at a dinner table, eating a dinner with a girl owl with a bow on her head. “How cute.”

Twilight watched her pet for a little while longer. Then Owlowiscious went over the table to the girl owl. Twilight kept watching until her face started blushing at what her pet was doing. “Okay, time to leave.”

Twilight quickly left the dream. “Wow....okay, why don't we try some other dream.”

Twilight left her house and saw dream bubbles all over town. “Let's see Rarity's dream.”

Twilight entered Rarity's dream and saw a magnificent palace. “Wow, this looks....um, expensive or maybe fancy is the word.”

Twilight went down the halls and found the main ballroom. There were ponies with masks on dancing slowly. They were all in fancy clothes and were dancing slowly. 'Now where is Rarity?' thought Twilight.

She then flapped her wings and lifted herself above the dancing ponies. She kept looking for Rarity but couldn't find her. 'Okay she has to be here....Where is she?'

Twilight looked around and saw a balcony, with a pony she recognized. 'There she is.'

Twilight slowly approached where Rarity was. Twilight was surprised at what she was seeing. Rarity was just standing there alone. Twilight then walked up to Rarity.

“Rarity?”

Rarity turned around, “Twilight? What are you doing here?”

“Um, I was, um, testing dream magic...sorry if I interrupted you Rarity.”

“Dream magic? Well, don't worry about it dear. It's nice to see somepony I know.”

“Say, why are you out here alone Rarity? I'm surprised you aren't in there dancing.”

“Twilight...I've had this dream several times now. To be personally honest, I have become tired of this dream.”

“Really? This sort of dream, I think you would want this more than anything.”

“That's true, but I would rather dream of Ponyville or my friends.”

“....” Twilight paused and then smiled. “I understand, I'll leave you alone.”

“It's fine Twilight, but should you be using this magic?”

“It's just a test.” Twilight said I she then left the dream. Twilight thought about what she said about the magic but seeing Rarity's dream made her want to see more.

'Let's go see AppleJack's next.' thought Twilight. She then hurried over to the farm. 'Now which bubble is hers.....?'

Twilight touched one of the bubbles. There she saw a huge farm with a gigantic barn. 'This must be AppleJack's dream, I think.'

Twilight then started hearing giggling and laughing of mares inside the barn. Twilight then walked to the entrance the barn. Then her face went bright red. She saw something she wished she hadn't. There was a huge harem of mares all around Big Macintosh. 'This is Big Mac's dream...' she thought as she saw this.

Twilight's eyes scanned the area even though she didn't want to look. Every mare in Ponyville was there around Big Mac except his family members. Then Twilight saw herself in the harem and immediately left the dream.

'Okay, wrong dream.' she thought and then picked another bubble.

Twilight then saw she was outside of a huge stadium. She walked in and saw in the middle of the stadium was a boxing ring. There were tons of ponies cheering in the stands.

The announcer of the boxing match then began yelling, “It's time for the match of the century! It's the Spoiled Brat Champion Diamond Tiara versus The Apple Contender Applebloom!!! Get ready to place your bets!!”

Twilight, seeing this, decided to leave the dream. She knew now this was not what she was looking for. She then left the dream and touched another bubble. There she was on a long road. Twilight looked around and saw Applejack running down the road.

“Twilight?!” Applejack yelled, “What are you...nevermind, run!!”

Twilight, confused then saw what was behind Applejack. A giant monster made of pears.

“Pears?!” yelled Twilight as she began running with Applejack. “Why are you being chased by this Applejack?!”

“How the tarnation should I know?!”

“Um, okay, uh, I know!” said Twilight and then blasted the pear monster with magic.

“Whoa! Thanks Twilight. That was horrible...”

“No kidding... I think I have already seen enough.”

“What do you mean?”

“Don't worry about it..”

Twilight's horn glowed and she left the dream, she felt exhausted. The magic had drained her. She had seen it all, nightmares, crazy dreams, all of it. 'How does Luna do it?' she thought.

As she went back into town and saw one bubble on top of SugarCube Corner. Pinkie's dream. Now that would be interesting.

Twilight decided one last try and touched her dream. What she saw surprised her.

It was white space. Nothing for miles. Twilight looked around and then saw Pinkie just sitting there. Pinkie was sitting there eating some cake.

“Pinkie?”

“Oh hey Twilight. So you decided come to my dream huh?”

“How did you...nevermind. This is your dream Pinkie?”

“Yeah, want some cake?”

“No thanks.”

“Yeah, I'm just trying to think of a good dream to have and decided I didn't want to do any crazy dreams tonight.”

“You can choose your dreams.”

“Sure!”

“And you decided to just sit here and eat cake?”

“Yep!”

“....Typical Pinkie...”

“Oh don't worry about it Twilight. Besides, shouldn't you go back to your own dream?”

“...Yeah, I don't think I'll use this magic anymore, Luna has her work cut out for her.”

Twilight said goodbye and left the dream. She went home and put herself in a deep sleep. When she woke up, Luna was standing in front of her bed.

“Luna?!”

“Twilight, where did you learn dreamwalking?!”

“Um...a book I found...”

“WHERE IS THAT BOOK?!”

“Over there...”

Luna grabbed the book and glared at Twilight. “Don't mess with ponies dreams, that is my job. Understand?!”

“Yes.”

Twilight then decided it was better to just forget everything she had saw last night.
