When Robbie opened his eyes again, he found himself in the midst of a forest which he instantly recognized as Everfree Forest. But, to Robbie, something didn't feel quite right. Did he forget anypony? Did he forget some location? Did he forget about any of the wild animals? A countless number of questions all similar to these buzzed throughout Robbie's mind as he explored the forest. It had felt like hours since Robbie had found himself in Everfree Forest, but he finally eventually found Zecora's hut. Remebering an episode he watched carefully for Poison Joke Weed as he approached
Robbie gingerly knocked on the door calling out "Zecora?" Becuase of how worried he was it had felt like forever, but Zecora finally answered her door. Feeling relieved Robbie asked if he could come in
Zecora responded "Why of course my dear, I see no reason to fear"
"Ok, thanks" said Robbie. After investigating her house for a while, Robbie felt a little better and decided he would check out a litte more of Everfree Forest and head into Ponyville.
"Zecora, it's pretty late. Do you mind if I spend the night?"
"Not at all, make yourself at home, there's no need to roam" responded Zecora.
Thanking her, Robbie asked Zecora where he could sleep, she showed him a cot in a corner of the hut and said
"I'm sorry my dear, but the only place I have is here"
The next morning Robbie thanked Zecora for letting him stay through the night and ventured back out into the Everfree. After walking for some time Robbie began worrying again and as he thought things over, heard a menacing growl from somewhere nearby, remembering how dangerous Everfree Forest could be Robbie ran blindly away from the sound. After running for miles, Robbie decided he could let himself relax and sat under a shady tree. After relaxing and catching his breath for a while, Robbie heard Fluttershy singing a familiar tune not too far away. Robbie hesitantly got up and called to Fluttershy
"Hey, Fluttershy, what's going on?"
Fluttershy jumped and turned around, "Oh, hi human," said Fluttershy after calming herself "I was just moving some frogs."
"Oh, have you noticed anything strange about Ponyville or Cloudsdale?" asked Robbie.
"Oh, no, everything's fine from what I've seen." responded Fluttershy.
"Phew, that's good, I've been worrying ever since I found myself in the forest. Do you know of any available homes in Ponyville?"
"Oh, I'm sor-" said Fluttershy before being cut off by Pinkie who bounced into sight from seemingly nowhere saying
"You silly filly! This is your world, you can just imagine a new house and *poof* it'll be there like a - like a - like a house out of nowhere!"
"Oh, hi Pinkie, where'd you come from?" said Robbie
"I have no idea!" Pinkie said as she continued bouncing by
"Bye now!" called Pinkie as she bounced out of sight. Turning back to Fluttershy, Robbie said with a smile
"Only Pinkie could be that random, anyways, is what she said true?" Robbie asked Fluttershy
"Oh, well, I don't know, but she's never been wrong before" responded Fluttershy.
"I suppose." said Robbie. "Anyways, although you just said it was OK, I need to head into Ponyville to be sure, bye Fluttershy!"
"Bye human!" Fluttershy called as Robbie ran off into the forest.
Not very long after saying goodbye to Fluttershy, Robbie got attacked by a Cockatrice, but because of his size and strength compared to what a Cockatrice is used to, he just kicksed it out of his way and continuesd working towards Ponyville. After walking for 2-3 hours Robbie was offcially lost, about to give up and just about ready to sacrifice himself to the forest. But just before laying down and abandoning hope, Robbie remembered what Pinkie had said about his power. Scorning himself for being so close to giving up, Robbie imagines a Hot Air Balloon in front of him and once he re-opened his eyes was amazed to see it worked. Saying
"I don't think I'll ever get used to this" aloud he stepped into the Hot Air Balloon and took off. Robbie was pretty sure he couldn see Rainbow Dash bucking clouds in the distance and started flying towards her, once he was close enough that he was sure Dash would hear him, Robbie called
"Hey Dash, whatchu doing?" Looking kind of startled but clearly trying to hide it she called back
"Oh hi human! I'm just clearing these clouds, it's supposed to be sunny today."
"Really? I wouldn't have guessed, anyways, are we anywhere near Ponyville?"
"Yep! Just follow me!"
"Ok I will, but try not to go too fas- Rainbow then flew ahead at what Robbie was pretty sure was her fastest -tuh" finished Robbie.
I should of guessed she would had done that with how fast she loves flying and how much of a prankster she is, oh well. I'll just follow the holes she's leaving in the clouds Robbie thought to himself.
But he quickly noticed the clouds starting to close themselves up
"Oh shit! That's not normal!" said Robbie as he sped up to keep up with the clouds. After what seemed like an eternity of flying the clouds finally cleared and Robbie saw Rainbow Dash relaxing on a cloud by the park
"Rainbow Dash!" called Robbie as he landed the Hot Air Balloon "I think I forgot to imagine something when I was making this place!" Rainbow Dash jumped up from her cloud and flew to the ground
"Oh no! What's that?" asked Dash
"Well, I think I forgot to imagine some of Equestria's physics, you know the clouds you were clearing earlier?"
"Of course!" said Rainbow
"I think I forgot to imagine your cloud clearing abilities, the clouds starting closing back up after you flew away!"
"Oh no, that's normal," replied Rainbow Dash "I don't know why, but the clouds near Everfree Forest have always closed back up, I just forgot how close we were."
"Phew, I thought I messed something up, there was a lot of stuff I hadf imagine to be able to create Equestria. Anyways, do you know where are your friends are?"
"Nope" said Rainbow as she flew back up to her cloud.
Alright then, see ya Dash!" "Bye, human, but before you leave, where you going?"
"I'm not sure yet, I still have to imagine myself a house, then I'll be going home, bye again!"
"One more thing, before I go, Rainbow, can you think of anywhere I could spend the night?"
"Well, I'd offer to let you stay at my place, but I doubt a human could walk on clouds, maybe Applejack will let you spend the night"
"Alright, I'll go see her, thanks Rainbow Dash!"
While Robbie started heading towards Sweet Apple Acres, he started thinking about where he could imagine his home to be. Before Robbie could even see anypony he heard shouts of laughter and happiness I wonder what they're up to Robbie soon found out that all the noise has Applejack playing some hoofball with the CMC and some other foals he didn't recognize.
"Applejack!" Robbie called to her
"Hay there human, what're ya doing up here?" called back Applejack
"Oh, I need a place to spend the night before I can create my house tomorrow and Rainbow Dash said you might be able to let me."
"Ya saw Rainbow? And a course ya can stay with me!"
"Yeah, she helped me find my way out of Everfree Forest"
"What were ya doing there 'en how?"
"I found myself there after creating Equestria, but I got lost, imagined a Hot Air Balloon, and saw her trying to clear some clouds near Everfree Forest"
"Now why would she be doin' that?"
"She said she had forgotten how close she was to Everfree"
"Hmm, sometimes ah wonder 'bout that girl."
"Yeah, well, do you need help with anything before I go to bed?"
"Actually, ah do, if you don't mind helping me clean up after this game"
"No problem!"
After helping Applejack clean up after thier hoofball game, the foals all went home and Applejack showed Robbie a spot he could sleep in the barn and apologized for not having a better place to sleep. After a fairly uncomfortable sleep full of restless sleeping positions and some pretty bad nightmares, Robbie awoke with a bit of a fright late mid-afternoon and went to see Applejack.
"Ugh, good morning Applejack" said Robbie when he found her
"Hay there sugarcube, ya don't look too good, anything wrong?"
"Not at this moment, but I had a pretty bad sleep and some strange nightmares"
"Sorry again about ya having ta sleep in the barn, 'en what kinda nightmares?"
"I don't even really know how to describe them, most of them were just some memories about before I created Equestria, but they all had weird twists that I don't remember normally happening. I also sub-consciously wondered what happened to all the other humans and continued worrying about things I might have forgot to create"
"Hmm, ah don't think that can be too good sugarcube"
"Why not?"
"Well, ya see, there was another human that had the same power as ya, but he went insane with his abilities 'en the Princess had to banish him to tha moon"
"Oh crap, do you think he could return like Nightmare Moon?"
"Well, ah doubt Princess Celestia would let him come back if he ever found a way and ah know for a fact that she would never 'invite' him back"
"Invite?"
"Yeah, that's the only way ponies, or I guess in this case humans can get back, it ain't exactly 'inviting' em, but ah couldn't think of a better word"
"You can call humans 'people' as a plural, and I'd also like if you stopped calling me 'sugarcube' or 'human' my name is Robbie"
"Well, sorry 'Robbie' but us ponies can't just automatically know names"
"I understand, sorry, I kind of snapped there, anyways, do you know a good spot in Ponyville for me to create my house?"
"Aww, it's aliright Robbie, 'en no I don't. But Rarity, Twi, and Pinkie all live in Ponyville, they might know a good spot"
"Ok, thanks Applejack. Before I go, I clearly slept a little late, anything else you need help with come up while I was asleep?"
"Well, all ah have to do that's left is apple bucking, do ya think ya could help with that?"
"Of course I can, but humans harvest apples a little differently"
"Ah don't care as long as ya don't hurt the trees"
"Ok, then"
Robbie and Applejack then worked together to harvest all the apples, Applejack thanked Robbie for his help and he set out to see the rest of the Mane6. Little did he know how little they time they had left before the other human returned.
One normal day, Robbie was sitting outside at his favourite spot on the schoolyard, the further picnic table in the lower field. He was thinking about how nice all the nature around him looked and about how much better all these things would be if not for the distractions coming from all around him. He got thinking really deeply about these things and closed his eyes in an attempt to imagine it, when he opens his eyes, he notices he's still at the field but something doesn't feel right, he looked around and notcied that all the people and the ride-on lawnmower and it's operator had disappeared. At first he thought he had just fallen asleep, but he looked up and saw it was the same time. All of a sudden he heard a familiar voice but he couldn't quite place it, as he was thinking about where he knew it from, a creature walked out of the bushes into sight, he recognized Fluttershy right away and jumped up and ran towards her, not expecting this, Fluttershy jumped back with a squee. Remembering how shy she was, Robbie slowed down and approached her more carefully.
"Fluttershy?" said Robbie
"Umm y-yes?" she replied
"Do you know what just happened?"
"Well, umm, you see, you have this special power that you didn't know about, my friends and I have known the whole time and have been expecting you for a long time now. To think you just discovered such a cool and strange power" Fluttershy then trailed off
"Well, do you know where everyo- *ahem* everypony else is?"
"No, I actually don't, I wound up here becuase, well becuase" Fluttershy's voice starts shrinking "becuase I know that I'm your favourite pony and you must have been" Fluttershy's voice shrinks even smaller "thinking about me..."
Blushing Robbie replies "Well, since you and the rest of the Mane6 know about this power of mine, do you know how I can get everypony else here?"
"Mane6?"
"Oh sorry, the 'Mane6' are what most bronies call you and your friends. Anyways, do you know how?"
"Well, all I can think of that might work, is you have to use your power to create another world while thinking about everypony in Equestria"
"THAT'S my special power? Creating worlds?" responded Robbie very enthusiastically
"Yes, by imagining them and closing your eyes, and now that you know that, do you think you could try creating Equestria when you make another world containing everypony?"
"Of course! And, urm, sorry about this"
"Oh, it's Ok" responded Fluttershy.
"Alright," Now, I just have to remember to include Equestria and everypony else this time Robbie thought. "Here we go" Robbie finshed.
