The sun was up high in the afternoon of Hearts and Hooves days. Pairs of ponies trotted along the paths along Ponyville. Moving side by side with the ones they had come to love and care for. Nuzzles, charming words, and silly expressions were common on this day. Everypony was busy spending time with their special somepony or even attempting to find that special somepony. The color of red and hearts fluttering about as ponies were expressing their love with tiny paper cards or sweet treats. While others of a more mature age were making dinner and going on dates. The warm embrace of one another in a later time to connect in the deepest way possible was on every adult ponies' mind. Every grown mare and colt seemed to be busy with the opposite gender in hopes of future families and ties. Yet a couple of mares had found themselves completely lonely. Though they were the most eligible mares in the town it's was obviously starting to make each one of them think about love and life.

It was a busy day in Sweet Apple Acres as Applejack and Big Mac were completing special orders of candied apples and baskets of apples for several ponies who would give them to gifts for their loved ones. Applejack filling up baskets as Big Mac was covering apples in candy. Dipping them into a bucket of sweet dripping caramel. Applejack found herself tying up a ribbon along a basket of fresh apples and gave it off to a joyful looking colt. The colt was an attractive one which caught her eye, yet AJ was smart enough to know not to mess with another mare's colt. the mare tied to the gentlecolt must have been a lucky one to have somepony so caring all to herself. AJ gave a nervous smile and handed it off letting the handle of the basket go with her teeth and watching as the bits flew into the hooves of Applebloom who was collecting the payments as her older brother and sister were finishing prepping the gifts for this special holiday.

"Thank ya very much! Hope yer special somepony enjoys tha gift, mister." Applebloom had called out to the colt waving goodbye with a hoof held up high. The gentlecolt looked happy giving Applebloom an approving smile. AJ continued to watch as the wonderful looking, taken, colt had slowly faded into the distance.

"Ya alright Sis?" Called out a voice which snapped AJ out of her dreamy state. She had been so busy staring at that colt wondering how it would be if she had somepony special to call her own. It was so troubling to AJ that she had forgotten what she was really doing here. Daydreaming into her work with thoughts about "What if?" contemplating on her love life. Maybe she would one day get gifts just like that apple basket? Maybe she would get the chance to 'squee' in awe of how considerate her own future husband would be on such a day like this? AJ turned to her younger sister and brought a hoof up to her red mane ruffling it up some as she giggled teasing her.

"Ah'm just glad ya ain't growing up all too fast, now! Means ya gots all tha time in tha world." AJ told her sister giving out an honest excuse from the top of her head.

"What's that suppose tah mean?"Applebloom said with a tilt of her head. Her face scrunching up into a quizzical look at AJ. Just as Aj was about to explain herself with her hoof held up and her lips opening to give out an explination. Big Mac cleared his throat loud to grab the girls' attention.

"Ahem! Applejack. Ah'm done with tha candy apples. They just need some wrapping ahn they'll be good ta go."

"Going somewhere Big Mac?" AJ knew Big Mac and Cheerilee had been dating for a while now. She knew eventually Big Mac was going to leave for a bit of alone time with his mare. It was no mystery as to where Big Mac was going next. Or what he had planned for the day.

"Tell Cheerilee. Ah said Hi!" AJ teased her brother while Applebloom gave another expression on her silent face.

"Can't keep my snuggle bunny boopy baby bear waiting." His reply made Applebloom silently gag in disgust with memories of their last Hearts and Hooves day. Which had ended up with a potion gone wrong. With enough to be said Big Mac went on his way making his leave to his date. Fading away just the same as the colt before him. AJ gave a weak hearted goodbye to her brother and then turned to Applebloom. She had to deal with a little something to ease her nerves. Her life was amazing, yet how would they even continue with the farm and the Apple family legacy if AJ never found a way to extend the family. She too wanted to be able to sit in a rocking chair and give out family secrets and stories with her grandchildren some day. Addressing her younger sister AJ spoke out.

"Hey Sugarcube! Mind taking ova for a while?"

"Pfft! Putting apples in a basket. I'm big enough to do it."

"That you are Sugarcube." Without another word AJ left her sister alone to finish the last of the orders heading towards Twilight's Library.

BOOM! A sparkle of confetti and streamers flew into the air as a familiar pink blur hopped about.

"Happy Hearts and Hooves!!!" Pinkie Pie had told her customers who came to pick up a cake for their anniversary which happened to land on Hearts and Hooves day.

"Oh! OR maybe it's Happy anniversary! GASSSSSSP!.... Maybe it's a Heatsaversary! Happy HEARTSAVERSARRRRYYYYY!"The sweet old couple held each tight as they just listened to Pinkie Pie rabble on trying to debate to herself on what kind of occasion this truly was. Behind the bakery's counter Pinkie pointed her cannon up and stuffed her foreleg into it pushing more confetti and streamers into the mini cannon as her other leg went down to the display of cakes and lifted the decorated cake onto the counter as Pinkie began to struggle with stuffing her cannon with her tongue hanging out in effort as her leg shook around. The older grey colt smiled at the hyper pony and placed a bag of bits next to the cake before taking his sweet prize and turning to leave. The couple turned to leave out the door and Pinkie seemed to stare at the elderly couple. Her focus on reloading her cannon had all but disappeared as her leg came right out sounding like a freshly popped cork. Zooming to the door she peered at the pair strolling down the open trail. The older mare placed her muzzle by her lover's neck. Gently expressing her love she had for her mate. This made Pinkie sigh out with a smile getting lost in thought. Which was very rare for Pinkie to even focus on one thought alone. Pinkie Pie brought her hoof to her chest thinking about how big her heartbeat would feel if she would be able to touch somepony else in such an intimate way. It would be something else for her entirely if she would be able to bake for somepony special without expecting payment. All just to see that one pony smile.

"Pinkie Pie?" Called out a voice from inside the bakery shop. Pinkie turned to see who was addressing her yet she already replied even without connecting eye contact with the pony.

"Oh! Hee hee! Mr. Cake need something?" Pinkie giggled hopping to the side to face her boss and landlord. Mr Carrot Cake took off his hat and rubbed the back of his neck as if having a hard time bringing out the reason he had addressed the pink pony. Pinkie waited keeping silent for the longest time today as Mr. Cake inhaled and exhaled deeply slowly bringing himself to stir up the courage to ask her.

"Would you mind leaving the shop for a bit Pinkie?"

"Oh sure! A couple of minutes of fresh air would be nice."

"No Pinkie. I meant for the rest of the day, please?"

"Oh no problem! I'll be back in time for dinner and...."

"No Pinkie! I mean can you spend the night at Twilight's place?" Mr. Carrot told Pinkie standing firm and trying to get his point across having to even stop her from thinking too much about the situation.

"Me and Mrs. Cake would like some time alone. Can you take the rest of the day and NIGHT, off? It's just for a little while Pinkie." Mr. Cake told her spotting how Pinkie's smile turned upside down. The curls to her hair beginning to straighten out as she could see the reason why she needed to go.

"Oh alright. I understand." Pinkie told Mr. Cake. Who only seemed to sigh out at the difficulty of asking Pinkie to leave so he could spend time with his wife. Somewhere inside he knew Pinkie understood why since Hearts and Hooves practically spelled out on what most adult couples might do in a holiday of love. Pinkie turned to leave. Her head hanging down low as she thought about how it would be in her own house with her husband. How they would love time alone or even try to enforce their special moment. Would she do the same? Being loved and having somepony to love must have been very different if the Cakes had to make a friend leave just to get their own moment together. With Pinkie gone Mrs. Cake came down the stairs calling out to her husband getting really close to his side and holding him tightly comforting each other from the light pain they had to give to Pinkie to get some time alone.

"I've thought about names Carrot." Mrs. Cake said trying to change the mood and ease their stress on hurting Pinkie.

"Pumpkin and Pound. What do you think?"

"That sounds lovely." Cupcake said as Carrot placed his foreleg over his beloved wife.

Up in the clouds laid a blue mare curled up in a tiny fluffy cloud slowly falling asleep. She had finished her work early this morning finding that all of her hard work allowed her the rest of the day off. Rainbow Dash gave a lazy yawn enjoying her new found sleeping spot. Her mind began to fade away into a slumber as the sound of two Pegasi giggling about rung in the air. Off in the distance two figures were shooting along the sky in a game of sky tag. The mare Pegasus was giggling and squealing out in a playful manner as her colt playmate was reaching out to her trying to touch her in their game of tag. The two twisting and turning into the sky. Barrelrolls and loops were drawn in the bright blue sky as the two blurs were flying as fast as they could. In an attempt to lose her boyfriend the mare started to fly through clusters of clouds in an effort to make him lose the game. Over time every cloud poofed away one by one. Each cloud seeping into small amounts of whispy like smoke. Over time she ran out of clouds, yet spotted one small cloud left. She shot her way through the middle of it shattering the white puff into the air. The dashing blue Pegasus found herself tumbling freely in the air barreling down suddenly with her stable cloud now gone. In her quick reflexes and experience Rainbow brought out her wings catching herself and stabilizing her in flight. The playing pair of Pegasi had to stop as the flying mare was holding onto her right foreleg feeling a sting of pain shoot up the limb. Her playmate rushing to her side and lightly examining her leg. Rainbow now had maintained a good hover in the air and turned her head up looking for the ones who disturbed her sleep.

"Hey! What's the big idea! Aaaah!" Rainbow could feel a pulsing sensation on her left foreleg which made her wince holding that sore leg. She looked at it finding the left leg to be a bit bruised and red. The flying stranger of a mare looked to have hit Rainbow Dash in her sleep and found herself luckily just brushing up against her leg. Rainbow flew up with a powerful flap of her wings and ascended to their level to talk it out and see the damage brought on by the accident.

"You alright?" Asked the young colt who was holding her leg in his hooves. Turning his head he finally addressed Rainbow recognizing her as the manager of the weather in Ponyville.

"Oh Rainbow Dash! We're sorry. We didn't mean to hurt anyone." His playful mare partner nodded in reply.

"Hey. Is she alright?" Rainbow Dash asked crossing her hurt leg over the over standing firm and tall. Even with her nap interrupted she had her thoughts on the hurt mare in front of her. Quickly forgiving the pair as they had to deal with the injury at hoof.

"I live nearby we can patch her up there." Rainbow told the colt who looked quite a bit worried about it. The colt then turned to his mare bringing his muzzle low kissing her bruise. Without a word Rainbow had turned her back to the two. Hiding her blushing face while at the same time wishing she had someone to pay her the same kind of attention to her own hurt limb. That colt seemed fixated on helping the hurt mare no matter how small the injury was.

"Alright let's go." Said the hurt mare who just seemed to stop feeling any pain as the one she so loved melted it away with his kiss. The two held hooves as Rainbow flew forward. Treating this as some type of emergency as the two seemed to want to only spend more time together. Reaching Rainbow's house in no time Rainbow quickly went inside and dashed back out with some gauze and a splint. She sat down onto her front yard of a cloud and watched handing the supplies to the apparent boyfriend of the injured mare. Rainbow's plot letting out a slight puff of cloud as as Rainbow sat down with no words of her own. The gentlecolt began wrapping the splint around his mare's leg. They smiled and gazed at each other finishing the treatment with widen smiles.

"I'm not that hurt." Cried out the injured mare who was enjoying the attention. Rainbow brought her hooves together trying to grasp their relief. Yet Rainbow felt like she was missing something. She had never done anything this intimate with anypony before. With little words said soon the pair had to leave Rainbow's place with a happy wave of their wings and legs. Flying out towards the sun off to enjoy each other. Rainbow gave a forced smile and turned to get back into her house and bandage her bruised leg alone. She knew it was overdoing it to such a small injury but she was trying to grasp the same feelings those two visitors had. The emotions avoided her somehow. She couldn't understand it. Determined to figure out this sudden heartache Rainbow spoke out towards the image she was facing.

"Maybe Egghead will know?" Rainbow said to herself staring at reflection in her bathroom mirror. Trotting out and planning to head to Twilight's soon.

It was a normal morning for the small cottage. A gentle and kind yellow Pegasus made her daily rounds to feed her animals. The rest of the day becoming fruitless with no end in sight as Fluttershy began to lay around her home with nothing to do, but watch her friends outside. Finishing her chores quite quickly in a repetitive fashion, having done them so many times before. Fluttershy spent most of her time laying along her couch and watching the happy critters outside frolic and play. Sighing to herself as she realized that even the animals seem to have noticed it was a special day. She would usually see the animal families huddle together with loved ones on a daily basis, yet today was different. It felt different. Fluttershy could feel something inside of her. A desire of some sorts, a worry, and a slight fear. She could not cower away from it. Only left to question exactly what was she feeling and missing. Something off the corner of her eye began to take her attention away from her thoughts as she saw a familiar white figure outside socializing with another bunny.

"Angel?" Fluttershy spoke to herself in a bit of shock. The white rabbit was covering a carrot behind his back and slowly brought it out presenting it to other bunny. Angel had even decorated the vegetable with several hearts. The other bunny sighed in awe and hugged Angel, who only seemed to wiggle his brow a bit, in a sort of devious yet naughty way.

"Oh my! Angel seems to have made a new friend. How nice." Yet her mind began reeling as she place the tip of her hoof to her muzzle and thought more about that said fact.

"Now that I mention it. Seems all the animals are making new friends." This was true as Fluttershy's eyes began darting left and right noticing the families, yet again and even the lone ones were making new friends today on this Hearts and Hooves day. The birds and squirrels courting their mates and coddling their young. The chickens with their eggs and the singing birds making a duet with one another in their nests.

"Oh! How nice it must be to have a baby and help them grow. I wonder how it would be to be a parent? Or how I might turn out as one? That means I would have to.....EEP!" Fluttershy attempted to flee from such a thought hiding her face into a pillow as if something hot was trying to get at her face as she began to blush heavily at such an idea. The blood from her cheeks only seem to win catching her in her pretend 'cat and mouse' antic. Fluttershy held the pillow over her head tightly hoping things would start to feel normal soon, but she knew it wasn't the case. Slowly she had gotten up letting the pillow slide off as she sat up from her couch again looking out her window. Giving another long sigh hoping and wishing of what might or could be.

"I wonder what Twilight would tell me. I think I should ask her." Fluttershy said to herself. Knowing that the smart mare could teach Fluttershy some things about that embarrassing topic of intercourse. With some information she was sure that she could better take hold of her fear and find a handsome colt someday. A small tug of her tail made Fluttershy turn her head around in a zombie like manner. Noticing the small mouse who was trying to grab Flutter's attention. She tilted her head and listened. It squeaked out a couple of times waving it's arms as if it was in need of something. The gentle mare listened letting the small animal tell it's piece and inhaled bringing her hoof to her chest to clear out her thoughts as she now had work to do.

"I'm so sorry! I almost forgot about lunchtime. I'm gonna go and feed you poor things now. I'll give you a bit extra so please don't stay mad at me." The mouse squeaked his response and waved the matter off smiling back at Fluttershy's reply and offering. Fluttershy gracefully made her way off the couch one leg after another and headed towards her storage room to grab the several bags of food and baskets of veggies for her critter friends. She would have to see Twilight soon. These thoughts were beginning to affect her work.

It was a hustle and bustle type of day at the Carousel Boutique. Rarity found herself a lot of business around Hearts and Hooves day. Colts wanting some jewelry for the mare of their dreams while some pretty little mares were trying to add a bit of flare to their appeal in a fancy dress. Her busy morning was just dying down and Rarity found herself with one of her last customers in her boutique. Rarity moved her head from side to side. Her measuring tape swinging from her neck flowing about as Rarity moved. Her eyes squinting a bit in their red frames of her designer glasses as she questioned the dress before her silently that had a mare wearing it on display for fitting. A light blue hue adorned a sewing needle that shot back and forth still trying to finish the red dress to fit comfortably on the customer's midsection.

"Hm. May have to tighten it right here!" Rarity said as if finding the problem tugging on a long piece of cloth with her magic that was to be a ribbon on the dress wrapped around the mare's hips holding up her flowing dress. Yet the poor little mare on display choked with her lungs being robbed out of air.

"Ack!......too........ight....." She groaned out with Rarity finding out she was suffocating her.

"Whoops!" Rarity called out as her horn grew ever brighter undoing the sudden pull of fabric. The lower half of the dress lighting up as Rarity adjusted the clothing.

"Oh. Do please forgive me? I meant you no harm." Rarity said with a nervous grin. The mare sighed out in relief finding her lungs breathing life once more. Continuing her work to undo the tightness Rarity moved along lower snipping back a small portion of the dress's skirt to better show off the mare's legs.

"Oh I'm sure the lucky colt you have this made for would find you ever so fetching, Darling! Why we could even be so bold as to say it would, 'Take his breath away.' " Giggling at her little creative whim Rarity turned the little accident into a joke to further appease her customer. The slim mare modeling Rarity's dress smiled finding it only more pleasant that Rarity was even taking her free time away just to help her with her dress. The mare nodded and laughed with Rarity.

"I just had to get my dress done by you. Rarity makes the best dresses. All my friends met their boyfriends while wearing one. I hope I get to meet mine too." The tiny mare told Rarity. She was younger then the white pony and was already tangled in finding love. Thought the white designer was always too busy to get caught up in love to have stumbled upon it in her younger days. Rarity waved it off trying to humble herself in her bit of a shine in her spotlight. Rarity had just finished the dress tapping her customer to signal that her final product was complete. Just as Rarity extended her hoof to receive payment her door slowly opened with a brown colt coming into the room.

"Excuse me? Rarity? I'd like to buy some jewelry for a mare I've been....Oh Daisy. Heh heh! You're here?" The colt quickly turned shy and nervous losing his steady stance on his statement and letting his words jumble together. The modeling mare Daisy seemed to only smile and bring her legs over one another.

"Oh....Cloverfield. I didn't expect to see you so soon." Diasy spoke out as Rarity watched the moment take place in front of her. Her hoof coming up to cover her lips as they were about to drop in awe to the dramatic situation. Daisy blushed her face turning red, yet finding her courage. Daisy stood up and turned around in a twirl of her new dress.

"Does....does it look good?" Daisy asked the Colt. Looks like this colt was who Daisy meant by her loved one. The colt stammered his words and found his jaw moving up and down yet no words were forming to make a sound.

"I....duh.....uh.....You look beautiful Daisy." The colt told her having a hard time looking but her beauty was something he could not ignore as he stepped forward. Daisy giggled most likely due to Rarity's joke as she looked towards the white mare. Daisy covering her own mouth with her hoof in a fit of giggles. Cloverfield spoke out again wanting the lovely mare to look at him addressing the generous tailor.

"Excuse me Rarity? I'd like to buy a necklace." He began swallowing hard as he began to let his confession come out.

"For the lovely model you have standing there." He told Rarity winking at Daisy as he pulling out a bag of bits. Daisy turned back in surprise staring deeply into Cloverfield's eyes gasping out. Daisy found herself practically so excited she jumped from the small fitting stand to jump into her special somepony's embrace squealing loudly. Daisy was happy and so was Cloverfield. It showed heavily as the two held each other, yet Rarity stood there sighing out alone. She had wished for such a moment so many times over, yet again she wasn't the one who had not found a colt. Such a warm loving hug they had right in front of her. Rarity looked away trying to keep focus on her business and began rummaging through her sack of jewels she had saved for special orders. Pulling out a string of diamond shaped rubies laced along to create a necklace Rarity turned to present it to the gentlecolt only finding the two nuzzling up against one another. Whispering out in private like newfound lovers would do the couple only seemed to almost forget that Rarity was even there besides them. Approaching the pair Rarity held up the necklace with her magic.

"Would this suffice?" Rarity said keeping her speaking to a minimum letting the couple enjoy themselves in her shop. Lost in their love.

"Deal." Cloverfield didn't even look at Rarity as he was too fixated in his special somepony's eyes. Tossing his bag of bits up into the air where Rarity had to quickly take hold of it with her blue aura. The pair barely said a thing and walked out of Rarity's store. The white mare said nothing almost forgetting to check if the bits added up. Which she spilled the contents down and counted them. Quickly counting them to make sure she wasn't so far gone in thought that she made the big mistake of giving away merchandise without proper payment. The kind colt had paid Rarity almost twice over on the necklace yet it was enough to cover both the dress and pieces of jewelry. Rarity grimaced finding that a job well done and high profits didn't seem to make her mood any brighter. Looking out of her window she could see Cloverfield wrapping her once special ruby neck piece around Daisy's neck. Daisy gave Clover a kiss and Rarity found herself slumping up against her window sighing out wishing for her own love to appear through that door in the same fashion. She thought about the dresses she could wear to her own wedding and maybe even get jewelry she didn't have to find herself as a gift of love.

"Oooh. What's a mare to do?" Rarity frowned heavily and thought about who she might talk to about it. Rainbow Dash would claim that to care for somepony else would be a bother. Fluttershy is always too scared to try to find a colt of her own. Pinkie Pie wouldn't even think about the kind of love Rarity had in mind. Applejack would be too busy to talk to at this time. All that was left was Twilight. The only other pony who would understand how lonely she was. Rarity got up from her window sill and prepared to lock up to go see her dear friend.

The sun was shining bright and everything was feeling alright as the famous purple mare had a wonderful morning. It was quite a day for young Twilight as she had read three books this morning with no interruption. A successful experiment on flora making a cure for wilting. Even organizing half of her library. Twilight was about to sit down and enjoy a meal she had made for herself and Spike this time. Spike actually was glad to see Twilight in such a joyful mood rarely did she ever need to cook for herself. So it was quite a treat for him to not worry about how to feed them both for once. Spike was sitting at the table ready to eat as Twilight turned from the counter and brought over two magenta glowing plates.

"An emerald sandwich ala whipped cream for you Spike and for me.....a wheat smoothie with a sunflower salad." Twilight said pretending to be a professional chef as Twilight even added the dollop of cream to Spike's sandwich with a floating spoon that turned on point above his lunch. The glowing plates taking their place on the table.

"Oh boy! Thanks Twilight!" With that said Spike took hold of his morsel of a meal and took a large bite. The jewels crunching under his dragon teeth as Twilight sucked onto her straw of her smoothie. The two enjoying their meal yet something rang into the silent kitchen shoving away the sounds of the two munching on their food in an eerie tone.

"Twiiiilight?" Twilight and Spike stopped what they were doing turning to the kitchen window. Only to find a straight haired Pinkie Pie staring at them pressing her cheek along the glass. Her blue hues glancing at them from beyond the glass.

"AHHHHHHH!" Twilight yelped out falling from her seat as she had jumped from the sight. Unlike Twilight Spike rushed to the door to let Pinkie in. Which to no surprise Pinkie was standing right by the doorway already expecting Spike to open it for her.

"Twilight?" Pinkie called out again. Twilight got up and dusted off her hind legs with her right foreleg before looking up and entering the main library room.

"Gee Pinkie I didn't think you could scare me like that." Twilight said greeting her friend with what was worrying her. While Spike seemed not phased by Pinkie's sudden appearance Twilight became easily startled noticing crazy when she saw it. Pinkie wasn't crazy though she looked down in the dumps.

"Oh wow Pinkie whats gotten in to you?" Spike asked hoping that his friend was alright. Twilight knew something was wrong as she usually was a cheerful friend, but she wasn't exactly cheerful anymore.

"I kinda....got kicked out." Pinkie told Twilight. Catching herself Pinkie began to explain hoping that Twilight didn't get angry for the wrong reasons.

"You see. Mr. and Mrs. Cake wanted some time alone. They didn't want me around for the rest of the day. So....can I stay with you for now?" Twilight nodded silently coming closer to Pinkie Pie and holding her tight in a caring hug.

"Of course you can Pinkie . You're my friend you're always welcomed to stay here." This made Pinkie's hair poof up back into place and her lips curled into a gentle smile as her own legs took hold of Twilight.

"Gosh. Sniff! Thanks Twilight." even Spike seemed to join in the hug holding both mares as much as he could with his little arms. Spike opened his eyes and glance down at the open door. Off in the distance was a orange figure of a pony.

"Hey I think AJ's come to visit as well." he mentioned. The pink and purple pair of loving friends turned their heads and quickly let go of each other to rush to the doorway.

"AJ!"

"Applejack!" Cries of greeting came off in the distance as Applejack came closer eventually making her way inside of the library.

"Howdy y'all!" AJ tipped her hat and looked to Pinkie Pie.

"Oh! Pinkie's here too?" AJ asked hoping to catch Twilight alone so that they could talk out her problem. Even though Pinkie would understand her she needed to get a stable head again and no pony else was as clear minded as her friend Twilight. Pinkie was the complete opposite. She had even told stories of how she once opened a rift through time and space.

"You're visiting Twilight too? Yay! Now we can have a sleepover!"

"Actually I cam' on ova ta talk ta Twi about somethang."

"Alright. We're all friends here we can talk."
Twilight trusted her friends to the point where almost nothing was hidden from them. Twilight kept an open ear as she paid attention to AJ closing the door behind her. AJ only seemed to fidget in place with Pinkie next to her shy about the subject she wanted to address. Just then a knock at the door came along and a soft tiny voice followed.

"Hello? Twilight? Spike?"

"Fluttershy?" Twilight opened the door back open and let Fluttershy in, who sheepishly made her way in with her head hanging low.

"Oh hi Twilight. I have a few quesitons."

"Sure. Let me just get the door and we can talk." Just what was happening to her friends right now? Twilight noticed a bit of a trend each one was depressed and worried about something. Twilight closed the door hearing it click as the metal locks fell into place. Only for a loud knock to fall upon it.

"Rainbow Dash...." Twilight's face dropped finding the cycle of constant visitors to be a bit annoying. It was obvious who it was as Rainbow was the only aggressive knocker she knew. A habit Rainbow had grew to have. As her habit of constant crashing and placing more then enough effort on every task she did made her predictable to the purple pony. Opening the door to let yet another guest in Twilight watched as Rainbow Dash made her appearance apparent fluttering in with her wings carrying her blue body.

"What's up guys! What's everyone doing here?"

"You're here to talk too?" Twilight said as if reading Rainbow's mind loud and clear.

"What are you psychic?"

"No I'm magic." Twilight said as she pointed to a spot for Rainbow to join in on the group talk giggling faintly.

"Oh wow! Now all we need is Rarity to join in." Pinkie said hopping in place really believing a sleepover was about to take place.

"Hold on!" Twilight said keeping her hoof on the door and quickly opening it back up as Twilight sat there getting just what she anticipated. A glamorous red long couch slid into place and a falling white pony fell upon the couch with a loud cry of agony on her back. A violin played in tune with the scene as Rarity cried rivers of black stained tears of eye shadow. Her hoof laid along her forehead as she yelped out in dramatic pain.

"Ooooo! Whhhhhhy me? Forever alone! Waaaaahhhaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaaaa! Is love going to forever evade me? Have I not earned it!? Where is my LOVE!? My special!....SOMEPONY!" The others stood there not sure how to take it as Rarity made such a dramatic entrance. Though Rarity had just pulled out the very point in which everypony stood there in Twilight's library. All except Pinkie who was playing the sad tune on her violin for Rarity.

"Pinkiiiie." Twilight said giving a stern look at Pinkie pie. Pretty much from just her tone alone Pinkie knew she had to stop as she was only making the scene look worse for everypony.

"Oh sorry!" And in a flash Pinkie brought the bow and the instrument behind her back which disappeared like most things she grabbed. Twilight took a silent moment to collect her thoughts and try to drown out the pretend crying from Rarity eying her friends back and forth trying to take control of the situation with five ponies all staring at her begging for her attention. Spike was kind enough to give Rarity some tissues for her smeared face. Just then Twilight stomped her hoof and addressed everypony.

"Alright girls. Everypony here is here for a reason. Now what seems to be the problem?"

"Ah think Rarity has already told y'all tha problem." AJ replied first scratching the back of her neck bringing honesty into the subject.

"Love problems?! As if! I don't have love problems!" Rainbow countered crossing her legs along her chest and looking away. Yet her gaze came back to the others and whispered out.

"Why? Do you?" She asked hopefully.

"I do too." Fluttershy said having heard others confess she felt comfortable enough to finally speak out. Yet the faint glow of heat on her face showed off quite a blush from the shy pony.

"I don't have a problem....I think? Do I?" Pinkie Pie entered the conversation. Now Twilight was starting to understand what was bothering her friends. They were all doing things for Hearts and Hooves day that they realized just how lonely they really were. Making them want a mate of their own.

"I fear that I won't ever find a man of my own." Rarity said through her sniffling crying blowing hard into a tissue and tossing it into the pile she had made with her tears and more tissue. Spike grumbled lifting the pile and taking it to the trash in another room. Just leaving the room altogether with a bothered look on his face.

"I got love problems too ya know." Spike whispered to himself out of hearing range from the others. Twilight sighed out trying to wrap her head around things and finally let out her own statement.

"So we're all here because we are all really lonely and have realized we don't have anypony special. That our lives are great but we may never find a man and have a family and experience love and experience sex and....Oh Celestia....I have love problems. And I'm how old too. Oh no!" Twilight quickly went on a rant finding the constant beating around the bush useless as no pony would fully explain the situation. Yet slowly she began realizing she had the same problems all along with her friends. Covering her muzzle with her forelegs her eyes open wide as it hit her pretty hard.

"I.....I don't think I've ever had a colt of my own.....Oh no......oh NO! What if I grow old and wrinkly before I even..." Twilight began pacing as her breathing became hard her doubts flooding her mind as a single strand of her mane popped up from the stress holding her head as she stood up on two legs.

"Twilight! Snap out of it!" Fluttershy quickly grabbed Twilight by her shoulders and slapped her friend across her face a fierce look overcoming Fluttershy's shy timid demeanor as she quickly did the deed letting Twilight go afterwards and backed away slowly.

"I'm sorry twilight. I just....I just hate seeing you like that." Fluttershy held her head very low feeling bad about what she just did even though Twilight needed it. Twilight rubbed her cheek and brushed that standing strand of crazy mane down back into place. Forgiving Fluttershy on the spot.

"Heh....thanks Fluttershy."

"We need your help Twilight."

"Yeah isn't there something we can do to make ourselves 20% more um...attractive or something?"

"In any case we need ta know."

"That we can be good housemares? Like Mrs. Cake!" Pinkie knew what was going on? She was even questioning herself as she fell onto the same page of the others.

"And mothers." Fluttershy added.

"Then that would require. Oh dear! For us to experience all of it. To know how to love and feel loved? I um....I don't know how to or even what to do in this case."

"Do something smart you know you'll figure it out."

"Ain't cha got some type pa magic to help us?"

"I'd have to do some research, but I just don't see how I can help us all with experience."

"Pleeeease Twilight?"

Twilight found herself in a corner. Her five friends leaning close to Twilight, or so it seemed. Twilight wanted a solution as well and magic had never failed her unless it was done wrong. Through all the pressure Twilight knew she was also doing this for herself. She had to know how it felt to cuddle in a soft bed with a sexy somepony and ending up waking up to him and finding herself groaning in pleasure as she.... Wait...? What was she thinking about? Twilight smacked her lips clearing her mind and addressed the worried crowd of friends.

"Okay girls. Just give me some time alright? I can help you, but I just need to find the right spell." The other five seemed to sigh in relief happy to hear Twilight would help them with some type of magic. Twilight let Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack mingled within her home for a while to help settle their nerves. Time passed on as the night had come with Twilight spending the time hovering books left and right her magic flowing across the room in efforts to find how to ease their plight. Twilight couldn't find anything. Her friends had all but left except Pinkie Pie of course who played around with Spike. The time to talk with her friends had all but passed as Twilight was now fully relied upon to do something about their mature issue.

That's when Twilight found it. An old book in the corner of a self where she had placed all the new books that cycled throughout her library. This was a courtesy of Princess Celestia herself. The princess being kind enough to donate books from her castle over to her bookworm of a student. The dusty old book was adorned with gold along it's spine and frame. It's dark blue hue was so faded with use and wear that it began looking black yet the antique quality of it meant most ponies only seem to move this book more then they would read it. The title stated 'The book of Mystic Summonings.'. Now summoning spells were restricted in Equestria meant for jailors of Tartarus and those of high authority. For one mistake would end up bringing beings like Sombre and Discord into their land. Yet in theory there was a being for every use. Twilight's mind racked away ideas and yet she felt naughty to even try it. To keep it a secret as she had to learn how to be a better mare. She needed the experience even wanted it. To just feel it set her mind at ease and maybe even more then one desire at hoof. The dark corners of her mind exploring the possibilities as Twilight had noticed the time. It was getting late. She tucked the book along her side and called out to Spike.

"Spike time for bed. I'll continue the search tomorrow." Spike wasn't actually helping Twilight with her girl problem only doing his own thing and keeping his chores up to date even leading Pinkie Pie to a guest bed for Pinkie to sleep in. He left for his bed and Twilight began shutting out the lights. Nestling within the folds of her bed she began reading the book. Her mind giddy with excitement as this could be the answer to their problems. Even being so much more for the six.

Author's Note

The prelude to the main story I have in mind. Excuse the messy or sloppy story writing skills. It's my first time and everything was on the fly. Hope you enjoyed it.
