//-------------------------------------------------------// Unknown -by WatchOutDerpy- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Canterlot was a beautiful place to live. You could see the whole entire country of Equestria from the top of the Castle. There was beautiful shops, beautiful ponies, and everything was peaceful. Until one day... Hooves quickly trotted on the Castle floor. It was like the sound of when you put your cup back on the table. click, click, click, click. "Celestia!" Princess Luna said in alarm as she opened the doors to the Throne Room. "What is it Luna?" Princess Celestia said, wrapping up a scroll and putting it by her side. "There have been threats made against Canterlot", Luna said in alarm. "The mysterious terrorist claims he's going to blow up the Castle during the Winter Solstice." "But that's in three weeks!" Princess Celestia yelled, standing up. "Why would someone threaten us?" Princess Luna trotted toward her sister. "I don't know, but we can't send the Mane 6, because they will cause attention." "They'll know that we are looking, and hide", Celestia said. "We have to call a new team of heroes." "But who?" "I have an idea. You see, every year I let in a dozen supernatural creatures into our country. This year, six of the twelve creatures caught my eye. They seemed more special. They seemed like, heroes." "How come you never told me of this secret plan?" Princess Luna asked in anger. "Because you would think I was crazy. I'm helping other creatures other than ponies find homes. They don't even live near civilization." "So were going to get six creatures that could possibly hurt us, to help us get a terrorist?" "Correct you are." "Well, have fun. Yes, I do think your crazy", Princess Luna said, turning around and walking out. "Sun-butt." Princess Celestia groaned, then she took out a scroll and began writing a letter. Well actually, six. ~~ "And that is why I have summoned you here", Princess Celestia finished. "Any questions?" In front of Princess Celestia was probably a weird sight. All the way to the left, sat an orange and white cat with a purple collar. Egypt was his name. He raised his paw for a question. "Yes Egypt?" Princess Celestia asked. "Will we get paid?" Egypt asked. Egypt was special. When he was a kitten, he was taken from his home and was experimented on. Due to this, some of the chemicals gave his vocal cords the power to talk like a Pony. When he was released from the factory, he searched for his family, but he never found them. The factory had killed his mother, father, and siblings. He ventured into Equestria to look for his family, even though he knew of the tragedy. "Yes, you will all be paid if you succeed." Next to Egypt, was a stranger site. It was half deer, half pony. She had a brown coat with a lighter underbelly. There were also white spots on her flank and left ear. Her eyes were light grey, almost white. She had a curly, blonde mane which went down to her upper hoof, and braided and she tied it together with a red ribbon. Antlers came out of her head. Her tail however, was a stub for a tail. Her name was Rhea. She seemed scared of the Castle, because she kept looking at the glass ceiling. Next to Rhea, were twins. Names, Orchid and Heather. Orchid had a black mane, which was short. Her cutiemark was a blue orchid. Heather had a light blue mane, and was very long (down to her chest). Her cutiemark was a red rose. Both sisters had a grey skin. The only thing odd about the two was, they had eyes like a bat pony. Both sisters seemed worry-free. To the right, was a regular Earth Pony colt. He had a short, orange mane and tail. His eyes were green. His coat was a dark orange. His cutiemark was a lion's face. His name was Raindrop. He was a shape-shifter. He seemed aggressive, maybe because he had the instincts of an animal as well as his talent. Lastly, was a Griffon. He had white feathers around his body. But his wings, end of his tail, front talons, and a streak around his eyes were navy blue. His beak was black. Eye color, yellow. His name, Kris. He looked upset for some reason, but maybe that was how he was. "No other questions?" Princess Celestia asked. No answer. Rhea raised her hoof shyly. "Why do you want us exactly?" She asked. "Why not other creatures?" "You all look and seem like heroes to me", Princess Celestia. "I don't know if I am right about my decision, but if you can find out who is threatening the Castle, you all will be rewarded." "But what if we don't prove that were heroes?" Heather asked. "Will you kick us out of Equestria?" "Only if you are the terrorist", Princess Celestia said. The whole group sighed in relief. "Do you all want to help Equestria?" Princess Celestia asked. "I guess", Orchid muttered. "Orchid, be more supportive to your Ruler", Heather said, slapping her sister in the stomach. "Don't be so rude Heather", Orchid hissed. "Enough sisters", Princess Celestia said. "Are you in or not?" "Yes, we both are", Heather said. "Good, then we shall send you all off immediately", Princess Celestia announced. "The Guard will show you where you can get supplies for your journey. Thank you for serving Equestria." The six turned around and headed for the door. Princess Celestia sat down in her Throne once more. ~~ "My name's Kris, what's yours?" Kris said, winking at Rhea. "Don't bother", Rhea said, walking a bit faster to get away from Kris. The Guard showed them a room full of food and supplies. The six quickly packed stuff into their new saddlebags. "There's so many options", Orchid said in disgust. "Just give us some simple food." "Orchid, be more appreciative", Heather snapped. "Just calm down", Egypt hissed. "Your acting like a bunch of Boggles." Every-creature looked at Egypt. "What are Boggles?" Raindrop asked. "In my land, that's what we call 'babies", Egypt said, rolling his eyes. He looked at Rhea. "Meow, meow meow mew, meow meoowww." Rhea laughed. "What did he say?" Orchid asked. "I'd rather not say", Rhea said, laughing once more. She looked at Egypt. "Meow meoooooowww!" Egypt chuckled. "Stop talking in cat language!" Kris said. "Let's try to get to know each other. I'm Kris." "I'm Rhea", she whispered. "I'm a deer." "So that's your name", Kris winked. Rhea scoffed. "I'm Heather, and this is my sister Orchid", Heather introduced. "Raindrop", he said, not showing emotion. "Egypt Is the name, meowing is my game", Egypt purred. "I hate cats", Kris muttered. "Well I hate birds", Egypt said, loud and clear. "I can hear you muttering, sunny boy. Cats have better hearing than ponies." "I'm a Griffon!" Kris squawked. "Calm down", the Guard said. "Or else you will not be able to go on the quest." Egypt groomed himself, as he had already packed his miniature saddlebag. And so, the six got ready for their adventure. After packing up, Princess Celestia sent them off to possible areas where the terrorist may live. But, they had to wear disguises. So the adventure begins. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Princess Celestia sent the super-naturals to the first spot, Manehattan. The objective was to find out any suspicious information from the most troublesome pony in the city, Derpy Hooves. She was known for selling dark magic books to fillies, which could lead to evil uprising. The six, all disguised except for Egypt. (who had on a leash, and he did not enjoy it) The first destination was Crystal Blue's Tea Shop. They all walked in, and saw a few ponies sipping from mugs, but one pony looked peculiar. She sat in the back, staring out in the window, thinking. Orchid and Heather both adjusted their sunglasses. Heather adjusted her pink and white scarf, while Orchid wrapped her black and red one around her neck. Rhea put Egypt in her handbag, while she had a flowery hat on to cover her antlers. Raindrop was in pony form. Kris tried to act natural. Rhea ordered a simple coffee, and paid the mare at the counter. The six sat near Derpy, but not completely next to her. Finally, Raindrop sat across from Derpy. "Seat taken?" He said, trying to act nice. "Nah, take it", Derpy said, looking at him. Raindrop shivered at her crossed eyes. "How are you today?" Raindrop asked. "Listen", Derpy snapped. "I'm not in a good mood, mk? So how about you either leave the table and you won't have any trouble, or you can stay and get beat up." "I'd like to risk that chance", Raindrop said. "Besides, why are you not in a good mood? Did something ruin your day? Perhaps I could help you clear your mind. I'm a master in meditation." "Can you leave me alone?" Derpy growled. "I told you freak, I'm not in a good mood." Ponies started looking, due to Derpy getting louder. The five super-naturals ignored it, and did other things. "I won't leave you alone until you tell me what's wrong", Raindrop said. "Please, tell me." "Well, for one, there's an annoying pest sitting across from me", Derpy said, rolling her eyes. "Second, I just got out of prison and I have no bits and no home. Three, my daughter is in the hospital and I can't pay the medical bills. Four, my café got shut down. And five, I hate being always stared at by ponies because of my eyes." Raindrop nodded. "You happy?" Derpy said, tears forming. She whipped them away. "Not really", Raindrop said, chuckling. Derpy's anger got the best of her, so she swung a hoof at Raindrop, but he ducked in time. "Somepony's angry", Raindrop said, smiling before his face got serious. He leaned in. "Tell me about the threats to the Castle, and nopony gets hurt, mk?" "I don't know anything about the threat", Derpy said, her facing growing angrier. "Besides the fact, that the threat came from a Unicorn." "How do you know?" "Because a Unicorn sent a scroll to the Castle, it wasn't delivered." "How do you know if a Pegasus wrote it?" Raindrop asked. "Because a Unicorn writes a letter with the quill with more force, any other pony doesn't", Derpy said. "Now get away from me." Raindrop nodded, and got up. He winked at Heather, which means he got information. He walked out, and slowly the rest of them walked out of the café. They met around the corner, and Raindrop repeated all the information he learned. At the News Stand on the corner, there was a line for the newspaper. Kris asked a colt with a newspaper what the fuss was about. "There was a second threat made, against Manehattan", the colt said, worried. "Also, somepony let off a firecracker in Times Square. They evacuated the whole street. Everypony is nervous that were going to be bombed." "Where's the next threat going to be?" Orchid asked when Kris told them. "The next major city, Fillydelphia", Rhea said. "We have to get there, as soon as possible." "Then let's get to the Train Station, and get tickets!" Egypt hissed through Rhea's handbag. ~~ "Can I get a Filly Cheese Steak?" Kris pleaded when he saw the stand. "I am greatly offended that you would eat meat in front of me", Rhea said. "Oh come on Rhea", Kris said. "You have to deal with it." "Stop fighting", Heather said calmly. "We all have to work together." "I agree", Orchid said. "Let's find out who is doing this, so that way we don't loose our homes." The next destination, was the Daily Pony Newspaper Stand. The pony behind the table didn't looks so happy. There was a line to get a newspaper there. Rhea waited on line, with Egypt in her handbag still. When she got to the front of the line, she asked for a newspaper but the colt didn't give her one. "You don't look like a pony", the colt said, eyeing her. "What are you?" "I am a pony", Rhea said. "Can't you tell?" "If you are a pony, take off that flower hat", the colt said, smirking. "I've seen creatures like you before. Your a deer. Tribe of Falling Rain." Rhea didn't say anything. Ponies on the line started getting angry, due to the delay. "Give me the newspaper", Rhea said. "A Falling Rain member wouldn't lie, not would they?" the colt said. "Show who you really are, you monster." "I am a pony", Rhea forced herself to say. "Give me the newspaper." "I know your a deer, Rhea", the colt said. "Just give me the newspaper", Rhea said. She tried sounding confident. Egypt started growling in the handbag. The colt gave her the newspaper, and the next customer quickly ran to the stand. Rhea quickly ran to the group. "What was the fuss about?" Raindrop asked. "That colt was The Dark One", Rhea said, shaking. "He killed our leader in Tribe of Falling Rain. He forced some of our members to kill other members. I was forced to kill my baby brother." "That guy knew her name and everything", Egypt said in the bag. "He knew what tribe she was in." "Do you think he knows more information?" Orchid asked. "He might possibly", Rhea said. "We have to learn more information for Princess Celestia", Heather said. "Rhea, read the newspaper." "Let's find a place to sit first", Heather said, shivering. "There's a café over there", Kris pointed. So the six went to the Teacup Cafe, and Rhea read the newspaper to them. Egypt sat on her lap. "A second bomb threat was made against Equestria, this time in Manehattan. Also, a firecracker was set off in Times Square during rush hour. Ponies are scared of going to sleep and not waking up. What's next for Equestria?" "This is more worse than I imagined", Orchid said. "It's unbelievable", Heather said. "We have to make a plan, and fast", Raindrop said. "What if there's another threat in Fillydelphia? What are we go-" Raindrop was cut off because of the floor suddenly shaking violently. The ponies in the café started screaming. Egypt fell on the floor. "Meow meow meoooow!" He hissed. The other five held on to each other. Heather looked outside, and her face became full with horrid. Across the street, there was a hole in three of the buildings. Something had hit them and it wasn't on accident. The buildings were about to collapse. Everypony ran away quickly, not wanting to get hurt. "Guys, LOOK!" Heather said. Egypt jumped up onto the window ledge. He placed his front paws on the window. The other four turned around and saw the horror. The three buildings collapsed, and dust shot into the air. The other buildings weren't affected by the collapsing, they still stood. "Somepony just bombed three buildings", Orchid muttered. "That wasn't a threat, that was an actual bombing", Kris said in shock. But then, another bomb came. The six watched in horror, unable to do anything. The bomb hit four buildings this time, on the same street. The ground shook again. "We have to do something!" Raindrop yelled. All the ponies in the café quickly ran out, incase the other side of the street would get bombed, they would be safe. "We have to get out of here, that's what we need to do!" Egypt said. "Egypt, get in my bag!" Rhea said, and he jumped in. The six quickly ran out, and away from the bombing. They had to get out of Fillydelphia, and to Canterlot to tell Princess Celestia. When they got to the Train Station, it was filled with ponies who wanted to get out of the city. But thankfully, all of them got a ticket and the train quickly took off towards Canterlot. The Conductor explained that due to the terrorist attack, that there wouldn't be any other stops beside Canterlot and back. Everypony would be going to Canterlot. There wasn't enough room on the Train, so Raindrop let Rhea, Heather, and Orchid sit while he went into cat form. He sat on Heather's lap, while Egypt sat on Rhea's. Kris groaned and stood. The train ride wasn't as long as the usual train, but before they knew it, they were in Canterlot. Raindrop went back into pony form. Heather and Kris flew to the Castle. The rest ran as fast as they could. When they finally made it inside after Security, Princess Celestia was walking back and forth in the Throne Room. The rest of the Princess' were trying to calm her. When Princess Celestia saw the six, she calmed down a little. "Did you find out who is doing this?" Princess Celestia asked. The six walked up to her. "No, we didn't", Kris said. "But we narrowed it down to one breed - Unicorn." "What do you mean?" Princess Twilight asked. "How could it be a Unicorn?" "Because only a Unicorn can send a scroll to a pony, and the writing of a Unicorn has more force and darker ink than a Pegasus or Earth Pony", Egypt meowed. "So we have to look for all the evil Unicorns in Equestria", Rhea said. "Question: why do some of you have weird outfits on?" Princess Luna asked. "We were in disguise", Raindrop said. "We aren't exactly, normal." "Show your true form", Princess Celestia. All of a sudden, Orchid and Heather turned into bats. Not vampire bats, not fruit bats, regular bats. Raindrop turned into full Lion, and sat down on the floor. Orchid and Heather sat on his two front paws. "So it's a gang of freaks", Princess Luna chuckled. Raindrop growled. "We are not freaks", Rhea said. "We are supernatural." "You'll have to get used to them", Princess Celestia remarked. "They are helping us out, Luna", Princess Cadance smiled. "We should appreciate their help." "Thank you", Princess Twilight said. "Thank you for helping us." "We haven't exactly finished the task yet", Egypt said. Princess Luna stood back a few feet. "The cat can talk?" She said in disgust. "I can do more than talk", Egypt hissed. "Enough of this drama", Princess Celestia said. "Super-naturals, you should sleep in the castle for tonight. The Guard will show you all to your room." After the six left the room, Princess Celestia turned to her sister. "You should be respectful to the super-naturals", Celestia snapped. "They all have a tragic past, even worse than Nightmare Moon. So be respectful." ~~ The six all got settled in their beds, except for Egypt, who slept on Rhea's bed. All of a sudden, Heather broke the silence. "Orchid?" Heather asked softly. "Yes Heather?" Orchid answered. "Do you ever miss home?" Heather asked. "Like, do you miss our family?" There was silence for a few seconds. "Sometimes", Orchid said. "But they never cared about me, they cared about you. Our family thought I was the evil one, and you were the angel. But sometimes they didn't think twice, and realize they didn't try to talk to me." "Mom cared", Heather whispered. "She acted like it", Orchid said. "She told me I'll never be perfect." "Oh." "Ya." "Well, I'm sorry for bringing this up", Heather apologized. "It's fine", Orchid said. "Goodnight, sis." "Goodnight Heather."
