“Bon Bon! Bon Bon!” I hear my erratic friend's voice call from the other side of the house. “Bon Bonnnn!” She shouts, her hoofs echoing on the wood linen floor.
“I'm in the kitchen, Lyra.” I shout back, my words muffled by the bag of sugar I hold between my teeth. I'm making cinnamon-coffee toffee for Pinkie Pie's party, like she'd requested me to. I take a hold of the wooden spoon and mix the cinnamon scented toffee mixture.
“Ah! There you are!” Lyra says, standing at the kitchen door with a gleam in her eye and a book levitating in front of her.
“You alright?” I ask, turning to face her. “You look... Flustered.”
“Yeah, I'm fine,” She grins brightly and trots over to me. “You really need to see what I just discovered about the humans!” I roll my eyes. Not this again. She turns the book around so the words are facing me and points to the page. “Look! It says that the humans show affection for one another by partaking in physical activities called 'sex' or 'fore play' which ultimately makes their bond grow stronger! Fascinating, isn't it?” I can see the hint of excitement in her eyes and voice when she speaks. Lyra has always been interested in humans, although they've never actually been proven to even exist. Anthropology, is what she calls her fascination. I sigh and take a look at the page. My eyes rake over the words and detailed pictures. As I read through the paragraphs of text and studied the pictures of things I don't even recognise, I start to feel a strange tingle in my belly, followed by a leaking sensation between my back legs.
“I see... Yeah, f-fascinating alright.”
“Bon Bon~?” Lyra sings, placing the book on the counter. I gaze into her topaz eyes. “What do you say we... Put this little theory to the test?
