Chapters I was in my barracks, awaiting orders. Well, more like we had nothing to do and I was just bored. It was 0700H , and I was lying in my bed. I was tired. I went to sleep early last night, but I guess all the hard training and anxiety was catching up to me.
We are going to fly out to Russia, and be the first into combat. Our attack plan was sending Hawk Eye 5 Squadron into the eastern part of Russia, into a small town. We were to set up a base camp within the city, and clear any threats. Of all the squadrons, it was mine.
It consisted of a group of 5: Myself, Cole, Dmitri, Alex, and Finley. I was born in America, and that's all I really ever knew. I never met my parents, and I never found any relatives. I was an orphan until I was 19, by then, I had left the orphanage where I spent my childhood, and eagerly went out into the world. I had joined the USMC because I didn't have any money for college.
Cole, he was my close friend. We had known each other at the orphanage. His parents died in a car crash when he was 11. So he was placed in the same care as me, and we became friends. We both went into the military, and luckily were placed in the same squad.
I don't know much about Dmitri, he's a mystery to all of us. He's a Russian who likes to drink, judging at the fact he has lots of whiskey in his foot locker. He hasn't said much, but I can tell he doesn't feel welcome. Most people treat him like he's the enemy. I feel bad for the guy, he hasn't done anything wrong, and he was even born in the US.
Alex is from Australia, by the sounds of his voice. He's said that he was a hunter, and knew a ton about tracking. I'm glad he's on our side, the man has deadly accuracy and great hearing.
Finley is a drunk. Hard to tell if he's sober or not. The man is half decent, as much as he can be. He is polite, when he's not utterly shit-faced.
"Come on Micheal, we're loading onto the plane."
I looked back with shock. "Wait, what? I thought we were leaving in 3 hours."
Cole sighed, " I did too, but something's come up, and they need us to get there as fast as we can." I was filled with anxiety and shock.
I sighed, got up and walked over. The sun was barely coming up on a cold winter day. I was in Olympia, the capitol of Washington on the western coast. The ocean air reeked like dead fish, but I ignored it. The plane was parked about 80 ft away from me, and I could see the air crew preparing the plane for the trip.
I went back in the barracks, grabbed my Kevlar, helmet, and the rest of my armor. Then, I stopped over at the armory, grabbed an M16, a few mags, a frag, and a SIG Sauer P228.
"Alright, we've already gone over the details, so let's just re-brief. We're going to fly you over the Pacific, and land in Аргун (Argun in English), and if there are any commies, tell them to kiss their ass goodbye, alright."
A collective, 'sir, yes, sir!'s were heard as the 5 climbed in through the back of the plane. I sat next to Cole and Alex, with Dmitri and Finley on the other side. The back of the plane started to close with the loud sound of gears clanking. I could hear the propellers start up and soon we were in the air. It was now only a matter of time. It would be a 3 hour long trip, so I did what most people do on planes. Sleep. I slowly shut my eyes and hoped I wouldn't wake up in an interrogation room.

I slowly regained consciousness, and opened my eyes. I looked around to see everyone still sitting where they were. I checked my watch. 930 hours. Within half an hour, we'd be in Russian territory. I stood up and walked over to the pilot.
"You nervous?" the pilot said, flicking a switch. I looked out the front view window and started to see the beginning of land.
"Yeah, a whole lot. Are you?" He shook his head.
"Nah, I've been flying planes for a good long time, 'bout 15 years." Now that I noticed it, he looked a little old, around his mid 50's. "I was in that Iraq war. I flew some of the intense flights right into action. Luck was my guide, I barely mad it out alive." Damn, he's seen a lot. We were just getting above land now.
*BANG*
What the fuck?! Blood was spraying all over the cockpit. The window was sucking air out of the cabin at high speeds. I grabbed onto the side of the chair. The pilot was dead and the plane was slowly tipping downwards towards the Earth's rocky surface. I grabbed his dog tags, which were coated in blood, and ran to the back. "THIS BIRD IS GOING DOWN, EVERYONE OUT!"
That was enough incentive to get everyone up and grabbing chutes. I went to the parachutes and grabbed one, and I sprinted out to the back of the plane and jumped without hesitation, the others following my lead. I started falling downwards, but to my dismay, There was what seemed like a black hole, sucking me and the plane into it. I was screaming, as I slowly awaited the fate that was within what ever confines that portal held. I then opened my parachute and with a big woomf, it opened and slowed my fall.
I was looking around and noticed the plane fall into the portal. I was sucked through the portal, with the feeling of having my innards being pulled out of their natural positions. I was in so much agony, I passed out.

I awoke, looking around. I was being dangled from a tree by my parachute. My memories started to flood back in from what happened. The plane was down, and I had fell into some portal. The others were missing. I knew I couldn't ass play, so I grabbed my knife and cut the ropes which let me fall to the ground almost face first. "Ow, fuck." I got to my feet and sheathed my knife. I had no idea where I was or where the others were. I drew my M16 from my back, and was ready for any attackers. Someone had to of noticed that, and would be here within a short amount of time. . .

Twilight was still dumbfounded at what she had just witnessed. I big rip in the sky had opened up, and some thing had flown out of it, and crashed in a huge explosion, that surely caught everypony's attention. "Twi' did you see that?" Rainbow Dash was already up and about hovering next to her. Twilight just nodded slowly, in awe and shock.
"What was that . . ." Rainbow Dash was curious
"I don't know, but we have to find out. I'll go get Applejack and Pinkie Pie, you get Rarity and Fluttershy, and meet me at her Cottage." Twilight's mind processed that.
"Got it." Rainbow Dash flew off, looking for a certain pink pony, whilst Twilight galloped to Rarity's.

I was already walking around for about an hour. I hadn't seen anyone yet, or the plane wreck. Fuck, I hope they're okay. . . I wasn't really sure what to do, I had no food or water, and I didn't feel like starving to death, so I decided to set up camp.
I found a small cave and dropped my M16 on the floor and went back outside. I unsheathed my knife, went to some nearby trees. I managed to get some bark and small branches. I placed them in a pile and looked at it. How am I supposed to do this again?
I sat and pondered about what to do. I knew using two sticks would be inefficient, and I didn't have a lighter. I did manage to find some decent rocks, and I smacked them together for 25 minutes until I finally got a spark, and lite the fire. My arms were sore, but I had a fire for cooking and heat, for I didn't know how cold it would get. I sat for a while, wondering how I could get communications with the base back in Washington.
I checked my watch. 1500H. It's been quite a long time. 3:00 PM, I had a few hours until sundown, so I decided to try and fish. I had never went fishing, but I understood how it worked. You just need a stick, string or a rope of some sort, and bait. So I took a firm stick, managed to take some vine from a tree, which looked absolutely rotten. Now I needed a hook. This was the tricky part. Hmmm I have heard of spearing fish. I kept the vine and found a nice sharp looking rock. I spend 30 minutes using my knife to sharpen it into as much of a point as I could get it to. I used the vine to tie the rock onto the end of the stick. It was crude, but it would do for now.
Then the realization struck me. I need to actually find a water source before I can even start. It was 4:00 PM, and he didn't have long until the sun was down, and who knows what comes out of their homes. I came across a river and looked in it. I stuck my spear in it to see how deep it was. It wasn't very deep. I saw a fish and was about to stab it, when I heard a faint sound. I quickly grabbed my sidearm and readied it. I got down into a prone stance, and listened. It sounded like voices, and they were getting closer . . .

"For the last time Pinkie Pie, cupcakes are just muffins with frosting on the top." Rainbow Dash was getting bored of this conversation.
"Nope! They're something extra-super-duper-special! Muffins are boooring! But cupcakes are extremely yummy, and they taste a lot better too!" Rainbow Dash sighed.
"Well ah don' see a diffrence in 'em, cept for the frostin'." Rainbow Dash hovered by the two Earth ponies as they walked through the forest. They had no idea that something was hiding in the bushes, watching them with fear.
"So what the hay are we lookin' fer again?" Applejack wasn't sure what they were talking about when they had rushed up to her, but she decided it was important and followed them in here.
"It was this HUGE thing that came crashing out of the sky and exploded! It was AWSOME!" Rainbow Dash thought it was cool, but Applejack had her worries.
"So this thing crashed, and we're lookin' fer it?" Applejack inquired.
"Yup!" Pinkie Pie's usual happy, hyper expression staying the same. "Well, I reckon that sounds pretty darn impor-"
*SNAP*
They all stopped. "Who's there? I ain't afraid of ya!"

I was staring, mouth wide open. These pony things were talking and they heard me. Wow, that's just fucking great.
I wasn't sure what to do. So i just slowly backed up, but that made even more noise and now they had a precise location of where I was. God dammit
"Come out, ya big wuss!" the blue one shouted. I wasn't intimidated so easily, but that blue pony was pissing me off.
"Well, hang on sugarcube, whatevers out there might be friendly." said, looking at where the sound came from.
"I don't care, what ever it is, is probably a stupid little chicken anyways." she yelled a bit louder, hoping I'd hear. That's it.
"Oh shut the hell up." I was standing up staring at them, my eye locked onto hers. I've never gotten mad over something so small, but this pony, just, UGH. "What makes you so damn tough?" I was staring at them with anger, and then they all just stared at me, confused. I smiled sheepishly, "um . . hi. . ."

Pretty short chapter, only about 2,000 words, but it was my first try. I promise, there will be more action in upcoming chapters, but for now, you get awkward moments. hope you guys enjoy it.
Introductions (Chapter 2)
There was blood on my hands. I awoke to the feeling of a sharp pain in my leg. I slowly opened my eyes, and I could see a piece of metal jammed into my leg. It hurt, but I retained myself from screaming. I wasn't sure where I was or if there was anything else crawling around nearby. I started to get up, but the pain intensified. I needed to pull it out. I grabbed a piece of metal, put it in my mouth. Then I gripped the metal with both hands, and pulled as hard as I could. "AH FUCK!"
I screamed at the top of my lungs, the pain was so intolerable. I was screaming, and I teared up a little bit. It had barely wedged out at all. If I didn't get this damn thing out, I'd be a sitting duck for any passer-bys. I could feel the blood running down the side of my right leg. This was definitely the worst experience I've ever had, say for when I was in Russia 11 years ago, and my vodka supply was empty. Oh that was bad.
It finally came out, and I threw it to the ground. I took the metal out of my mouth, and need some sort of bandage and antibiotics, less this get infected, and that just makes more problems. I managed to rip some of my pant leg around the wound, and rapped it around. But, alas, no antibiotics. I sighed, and got up, which was difficult. I grimaced at the pain in my leg. I slowly limped over to my sidearm, a HK45, and picked it up. It wasn't much for fighting an armed opponent, but It would have to do. Now would be good time to get drunk.

"Um . . hi . ." The thing talked and all the 3 could do was stare. It was a tall creature, standing on its hind legs. It had hands, but with out scales or anything of that matter. And it just talked . Judging by its form, they figured its face was on the top of it's body. It was smiling nervously. They all stood there, the silence being deafening. Suddenly, it turned 90 degrees and ran as fast as it probably could.
"What the hay was that?" Applejack inquired.
"Well what are we doing waiting around? We have to find him! That is how you play hide and seek, right?" Pinkie Pie started jumping after it.
"Pinkie Pie, where are ya going?" Her pink friend was already too far away. "Let's just follow it. Come on!" The two mares were off, chasing after the visitor and their pink friend. Rainbow Dash flew ahead of the two earth ponies, and was gaining speed on the creature.

Oh fuck. They're following me. I don't know what they are, but they're pretty fucking creepy. I was sprinting as hard as I ever had. I didn't want to be near these talking ponies. I was running when I a bullet whizzed past my face, barely missing me. It distracted me, and I tripped and ate dirt. It tasted fucking bad, but at least whatever was shooting at me, missed, and couldn't see me. I looked around, and didn't see any of those pony things. I had my side arm ready and blind fired over the bush.
*BANG*

*BANG*
My adrenaline was pumping. I must have hit something because I heard, 'YOU FUCK!' I peeked over the bush, and saw a damn commie bastard standing there, next to a tree, gripping his arm while blood dripped down his arm. He was holding an AK-47. He saw me and lifted his gun up, but never had the chance to fire.
*BANG*
Right in the fucking head. He dropped, staying limp. I could see the blood pouring out of his face, leaving red on the green grass. I was sweating, but glad that it was over. I had survived, more to luck than anything. I decided I'd take whatever weapons he had, considering the small amount of ammo I had for my M16, and only one clip for my pistol.
As I walked over I looked around, but saw a blue blur. Suddenly I was hit in the stomach by it and dropped down almost instantly. "OH FUCK! Jesus, oh my god, that fucking hurt." I was gripping my stomach, and rolled around slowly. I threw up, which felt even worse. "oh. . . my . . . god." I was on my stomach and I looked up, and there was that blue pony, at my mercy. It's expression was fear, mixed with a little anger, probably from before.
"Don't. Move." It disturbed me a bit when it talked, but I didn't care, I was just glad it wasn't kicking the shit out of my face.
"Well, what was that for?" I said with anger.
"It was to make you stop running, chicken." I just glared at her.(judging by it's voice)
"Well looks like ya stopped 'im." An orange pony, with a cowboy hat and southern accent, walked up. How the hell does a pony get a southern accent?
"Tag your it!" The hyper active and probably mentally institutional pony poked me on the nose as she said that.
"Leave the thing be, Pinkie. He ain't lookin' too good." "Yeah, no shit." I said, rolling onto my back. "So, what the hay are you and what's that thing over there?" I assume she pointed to the dead body.
"I shot the son of a bitch in the face, that's what." I slowly got to my knees and just sat down. My stomach hurt, but I was lucky to be alive. That thing had to be going 500 MPH!
"You didn' answer mah first question. Who, or what, are you?" I decided I couldn't run from this.
"I'm Michael Sanders, Private First Class of the United States Marine Corps. I'm what you call, a human." They looked at me confused, and I knew they had a million questions.
"So, what's a 'United States Marine Corps'?"
This would be difficult. "First, let me do something, and we can go back to where my temporary camp is." I got up and walked over to the body, found his weapons, which wasn't in the greatest condition, but it would have to do, took some of the clips. I also took his dog tags, because I had a heart, and wanted to know who it was that I shot. "Czar Vasiliev." I took it, and put it into my pouch.
"Is it, dead?" The blue pony asked.
"Yes, but I can explain why I had to kill him. He is from another country, a faction. I am from the US, and he is from Russia. We're at war."

We walked back to my cave, which I luckily remembered the way. "So . . . How did you kill 'im?" I thought how I would explain this, because I'm guessing they don't know what a gun is.
"With this." I pulled out my side arm and held it out in front of them. "It's a gun. And a gun, is a weapon, obviously, that fires tiny little pieces of ballistics at fast speeds, using gun powder." They all looked pretty horrified, but oh well.
"So, are you . . . nice?" I, again, pondered. Am I? I am, but, I just killed a man, and they have no idea why or if he was good or a lot of things actually.
"Yes. I may have killed him, but he was supplying weapons to an opposing nation. That said nation has done a lot of evil things to our nation." They understood, but it was still a haze to them. I hadn't checked my watch in awhile. 1900 hours. 7 PM, and it was getting dark. "Well, it's getting dark, and we're almost there, but won't someone look be looking for you?" They all nodded.
"Yup! Our friends also saw that big thing fall out of the sky, and so we all went in to the forest to see what happened!" It was so weird that the pink one could be so hyper active.
"Hey, what's your names by the way?"
"I'm Pinkie Pie, I make the best cupcakes (*shudder*) and throw the best parties!" Pinkie Pie seemed best fit for that, considering she was crazy.
"And Ah'm Applejack. I work on mah farm with mah brother and lil' sister." Okay, there's your country girl.
"I'm Rainbow Dash! The fastest flyer in all of Equestria."
What. "Equestria?" They all looked at me like I was crazy.
"Yeah . . . Equestria. Ruled by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna." I was SO confused. I've never heard of Equestria, but I'm not surprised.
"What? When my plane went down I was above Russia. So how did I get here?" With that, we got back to my cave. "Here we ar-" I was smacked in the back of the head, and felt the grip of unconsciousness fall into place.

I slowly opened my eyes. I was inside the cave, and the fire was still burning. I saw the three ponies around the fire, asleep, with someone else in the room. "Ohh. . ." The figure looked up, and I saw it was Cole. "Oh shit, hey your awake!" I rubbed my head. Damn! Whatever hit me hurt A LOT.
"What happened?" He rubbed his head, and smiled sheepishly.
"I um, hit you in the back of the head." I was pretty mad at him, but glad to see another friendly face.
"WHY?!?! THAT HURT!"
"Well, um . . . I heard talking and footsteps, so I hid and jumped out and hit you, but I thought you were a Russian, because I heard some other voices." Well, isn't that nice.
"So, you talk to them yet?" He laughed and looked at me like I was crazy.
"What those horses? Horses don't talk" Either I was crazy, and what I experienced was a hallucination or I'm just messed up in the head from the crash.
"They're not horses, they're ponies. And they DO talk." I didn't want to wake them up, because they were probably tired from today's stressful events. I was way too tired, and felt like I had a concussion. "Well it's late, let's just go to sleep." And with that, he nodded. I basically passed out from exhaustion.

I woke up and stepped outside to get some air. 900 hours. Good, I thought 9 was always a good time to wake up. Not too early, not too late. I went back inside, grabbed my knife and scrapped some more bark, and threw it on the fire. I noticed Rainbow Dash wake up. "Finally up, huh?" She just nodded. "Well, you must live somewhere. Not to be too intruding, though." She just groggily nodded again.
"Yeah, I live somewhere, but I don't think you could come." I just rolled my eyes.
"Sure." She stared at me.
"Can you walk on clouds?" Now I was just dumbfounded.
"What? No. Why would I . . ." She shook her head.
"I'm a Pegasus pony, I can fly and walk on clouds." Interesting. She can fly, but her two friends can't. That probably sucks a lot.
"Well, um, okay. I'm still worried. I ran into a Russian, and we're not in Russia, and I haven't found the others yet." I really was worried. They might be dead, or kidnapped by the Russians.
"Others?" She stared at me blankly.
"Yes, there were 5 of us. I don't know what happened to the others yet." The other 3 woke up.
"Are you talking to the 'ponies' yet?"
"I reckon he is." Cole jumped back startled that Applejack actually talked.
"Jesus. I guess you weren't lying."
"No, Really?" I guess it did sound crazy, but why hadn't they said anything to him yesterday? Oh well. After the 3 introduced themselves to Cole, I decided we needed a plan. "Well we can't just live in this cave for how ever long we're stuck here." I stood up, stretching a bit.
"Well, ya maybe could stay at mah farm fer a while, till ya get properly settled in." I decided that was better than rocks and moss.
"But we need ta find Twi', Rarity, n' Fluttershy first." I decided if I could stay anywhere else but here, I'd help out.
"Sure, what do they look like?"
Pinkie Pie answered first. "Well, Twilight is purple and has a horn, and Rarity is white with a purple mane that's really, really pretty. And Fluttershy is a yellow Pegasus with pink hair, and she's really shy." Wait, horns?
"What do you mean horns?"
Rainbow Dash answered, "Yeah, they're unicorns, and they can do really cool magic stuff. It's awesome!" Magic? Talking ponies? This was ridiculous.
"Well um, okay, we'll help you look, but be careful. I ran into the enemy, Cole. They're might be more, and who knows how many . . ."

"Что, черт возьми, что?(What the hell is that?)" The other shook his head.
"Я не знаю, но, мы не на родине больше.(I don't know but, we're not in the motherland anymore."
Okay, so this one isn't longer, or too filled with action. BUT you have to build to something like that. I also kinda just want to get these first two chapters out right away. The next one might be done by thursday or later. MAYBE. It might be done sooner, so keep tabs. Goal: Thursday or sooner.
Complications (Chapter 3)
I lied. Sorry. I'll make each chapter 2,000+ words long, but I'll try to update frequently. Oh, and I've made it into paragraphs. heh, I should've done that, after all the fan fic I read.
He was sitting at his desk, feeling somewhat stressed. He got up and walked over to the meeting room. All of the men turned and looked at the man. "Men, I've brought you here today, because we haven't gotten any communication reports from the squadron we've sent into Russia." All the other men looked around, with worry on their faces. "Well, you all know what we have to do." He grabbed the radio transmitter, "We're sending Special Forces in."

The sound of leaves being crunched by boots and hooves alike filled the air. The 5 walked down the beaten path that the mares came from. They had decided that going to Ponyville first and letting everyone know what happened before searching for the others was a better idea. None of them wanted to speak. It was about an hour before 12, and they could see the clearing where Fluttershy's cottage resided.
"There's Fluttershy's house." Rainbow Dash pointed out. When they had reached the cottage the door was open.
"That's strange. Fluttershy ain't like that ta leave her door open." Cole and I looked at each other. We heard footsteps and voices that distinctively sounded Russian.
"You 3 go into town and tell everyone what's going on, we'll deal with these goons." The 3 nodded and galloped off to town, causing one of the men inside to become alerted of the noise. He walked over to the door, and started walking out of the door way. Cole and I both nodded, knowing what to do. He hadn't seen them, because they were against the front of the house on the porch. He stepped out onto the grass. I pulled out my knife and tackled him, knocking him to the ground face first. I stabbed my knife deep into his neck, cutting off the oxygen to his lungs, while preventing him from screaming. Soon, His body became limp.
I crouched and snuck back to the side of the house. I peeked in the window. Two tangos. I gave Cole the hand signal for two. He nodded. I ran in, the two turning around. They went for their guns, but I opened fire with my M16. They both dropped dead. We heard a muffled voice from upstairs.
We walked upstairs and saw Alex, tied up and gagged with a rag. He looked pretty good for have surviving a plane crash. "Alex!" We ran up to him and helped him out of his binds and got him on his feet.
"Oi, those sons of bitches got me while my back was turned." I was glad we had another soldier in service still, now we were just missing Finley and Dmitri.
We searched the rest of the house, but it was empty, side from the terrified animals. I took one of the Russians' guns, a M39 EMR, and handed it to Alex.Wow, thought they just used rusty old broken shit. He was glad it was a sniper rifle, because his deadly accuracy and keen instincts would be really useful for some jungle warfare. We dragged the bodies outside and threw them into a pile nearby the house. I grabbed the dog tags. The names read: Ivan Titov, Ruslan Nikitin, and Konstantin Sidorov. I added those to my pouch and closed it. They had a pretty clean pair of binoculars, so I decided to do a little recon. I looked through the binoculars towards the small town of Ponyville. I could see lots of other ponies walking around, which was a little weird, but I just brushed that thought off. I continued to look, and I saw a gathering around the 3 mares we had been talking to earlier and another older looking pony.

"Everypony, calm down! Calm down!" Mayor Mare was having some difficulties keep everypony under control. "I understand your concern for what happened yesterday, but it appears that these 3 ponies know what happened."
She stepped down from the stand and Applejack went up along with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. "Um . . . well, we have a few new 'visitors' that sorta crashed here, and well, they're really nice?"
This definitely did not calm any one down. "Well, we can go get 'em and have 'em talk ta ya'll 'bout what's goin' on." Most of the ponies didn't like the idea of them coming to the town.
"What if they're not as friendly as they say, huh?" The crowd started to agree with the mare.
"Well shoot, here they come right now." They all looked to see a small group of people walking down the road towards the town.

"We got tangos inbound to the city." Alex was looking through the scope of his new found rifle, spotting 7 people walking. He could see their ensembles, they were definitely Russian.
"Kill them."
Alex just nodded. He set up the bi-pod and looked through the scope two of them were lined up perfectly. He squeezed the trigger, while I spotted him. "Two down." the other 4 turned around to see what happened. They didn't know where the bullet came from, so they all jumped for cover behind a few trees.
"Alex, you stay here and cover us while Cole and I go in for some closer kills. He nodded. I ran downstairs grabbed my M16 and Cole grabbed his AK-47 from the Russian I killed earlier. We were out the door and sprinting down the road. One of them poked their head out and squeezed off a few rounds. I felt one hit my arm, but I kept running. I dove behind a rock, Cole following my lead. I popped up and fired as many round as I could before having to drop back down. I managed to get someone, his head literally ripping apart, chunks of bone and 'meat' going everywhere. I was pinned down, sticking my head out would mean certain death.
Then I remembered. I grabbed the small spherical item from my vest, pulled the pin. I jumped up threw it and ducked. "GRENADA!"
*BOOM*
I could hear them screaming, it was actually disgusting, when I looked over, one of them had their legs blown off, another lay limp, his head was full of shrapnel with blood oozing out. The other was staring at them, and we made eye contact. I lifted up my rifle and opened fire, causing his head to be torn in half, revealing his brain, and I could even see the inside of his mouth, tongue slithering around. He just fell backwards, collapsing on the ground in a bloody mess. There was one left, but I hadn't seen where he got off to.
Suddenly, I felt someone jump on my back and stick a knife 5 inches away from my spine. I screamed in pain and elbowed him in the face. Cole noticed, and whipped around, shooting him 10 times in the head. His head was ripped open, blood spraying all over the damn place. I was bleeding from my arm and back, and it hurt fucking bad. Cole made a gesture for Alex to come over here. It was just a big fucking mess of blood and gore everywhere. Cole helped me up to my feet, and we slowly walked to the town.

Alex and Cole were almost dragging me into the town, I was lucky I wasn't paralyzed. All the ponies just sat and stared, seeing me covered in blood.
"So, whats with the horses, now?" Alex commented.
Cole had to be the responsible one. "He's hurt, badly. We need someone to help him!"
Pinkie, Rainbow, and Applejack ran over to me. "What happened? We could he hear loud cracks and an explosion."
I finally had the strength to speak. "The damn Russians," It was becoming difficult to breathe. "they were on their way to the town. . .Had to . . . stop them."
Nurse Redheart ran over to me. "Bring him to the hospital, I may be able to treat him."
Alex spoke up. "By the way, the bloody hell is going on? Why are there talking horses everywhere?"
"We'll explain later, right now, I'm going to die if I don't get some medical treatment, that's what.." He just nodded and Cole and Alex picked me up and carried me to the hospital down the road.
We got to the hospital and Nurse Redheart opened the front door. They carried me down the hallways. I didn't see any other patients, which was probably good. We reached a room on the first floor and they laid me down on the bed.
"You have to pull the bullet pieces out." Cole said. This part was what worried me.
"I'm not a surgeon just a doctor. If we're going to get those pieces out of you, we need someone from Canterlot with a PhD." Oh. Perfect. Who knows how long that could take.

Applejack and the other 2, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie, were waiting outside the hospital room. They hadn't seen the other 3 for a day now, hoping they were alright. "We can't just leave 'em out there, they could be hurt, or worse!"
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie agreed. "Yea, what if those jerks are out in the forest? We gotta help them."
Pinkie decided to speak up, "We should get one of the hoo-mans to help us look for them! It'd be fun!"
Applejack wasn't sure what to think. She didn't want to go back in that forest with those 'Russians' in there. She sighed. "Well, it's definitely worth a shot." She opened the door to the room where the 3 soldiers were. Michael lay on the bed while Alex and Cole sat in chairs. Nurse Redheart was speaking with Spike, who had managed to sneak into the room.
"Spike, send the letter." Nurse Redheart commanded, worried for the soldier's sake.
"You got it, Nurse!" He inhaled a deep breath, and set the scroll ablaze, letting it drift out the window, and evaporate in the air. "That should pop up in front of the Princess within a minute or so. I hope we have enough time."
Applejack so the human that went by the name of Cole, standing by the window, asking spike how the letter could be sent, even though it was burned to a crisp.
"Magic." Then he snorted twice. ( Mr. Bean reference =3 ) Cole just looked at him strangely.
"Uh, hey, you." Cole looked over at Applejack. "Our 3 friends are still in the forest, and we really gotta find 'em."
Cole pondered for a minute. "Well, I can't take Micheal he's incapacitated, and Alex will have to stay just in case more of them show up." I should help them, because we basically brought our conflict to this 'Equestria'. It's the only way I can pay them back. "Alright, I'll help, but you'll have to be quiet, if we're outnumbered, we probably won't last long."
The fact that they could rescue their friends made Applejack feel relief. "Thanks, it means a lot ta me."
Just then, a letter popped up, and fell into Spike's hand. "Got the letter!" He unrolled it. "Ahem! 'Dear Spike, I wish I had been told sooner, but that can't be changed now. Me and my sister are planned to show up with a licensed surgeon for your friend as soon as possible, possibly within 3 hours from now. I understand your concern for Twilight and the others, but we'll have to wait until my sister and I arrive, unless one of these 'humans' can help. Sincerely, Princess Celestia.'"
"Well, we should probably look before night fall." Cole said. He knew there would be soldiers in the forest, but he really owed these creatures.
"Let's go."

Alright, little shorter than I wanted, but I'll do the whole 'forest rescue' thing in the next chapter. Keep reading, because I get better at writing as I go.
Back on Track (Chapter 4)
Wow, didn't think I'd get back to this. I changed my mind, and I know I seem like a douche for totally just forgetting this, but hopefully i didn't really spoil too much. Let's get started. . .
The trek through the forest would be a long one, considering this was a search and rescue mission. I looked over at Applejack, an expression of drowsiness masked her. I noticed Pinkie Pie, she had calmed down a bit, and wasn't her usual perky self. Rainbow Dash didn't look to hot either. These three had been through a bit since we had 'arrived'. I checked the clip in my AK-47. We had been walking for 15 minutes, and the silence around us was deafening. Rememeber: Look for movement, keep an attentive ear out for noise. Rainbow Dash was the first to break the silence.
"I know we're looking for the others, but nothing is happening, and this is boring." She muttered. I sighed loudly. She glared at me. "You sound like Rarity. Anyways, This would be easier if we split up."
What a terrible idea. "That's a good idea! Wait, it's not. One gun, 4 people. The next thing we want is for more missing peo- ponies."
"Fine." she said.
"Well, we can't give up. They got our friends, and these, uh what did ya say before?" Applejack inquired.
"Commie Bastards."
"Yeah, that. We can't let these commie bastards get in the way of us!" She said proudly.
I just smiled. There was a shuffling in the bush. 4 heads turned to the right. I quickly pulled my weapon up to my shoulder, aiming down the barrel. " Who's there?" I simply stated. All of a sudden someone fell out of the bushes. I heard groaning.
"Ugh, that's the last time I mix drinking with guns." He said with a hearty laugh.
"Dmitri?" It had to be.
"The one and many! Wait, I mean only." He said with a slur.
"Hold up. You're friends with the Russians?" Rainbow asked?
"Oh, no no no! Not at all my adorable little friend." I got a glare from her, but she seemed to keep listening. "No, Dmitri was with us when the plane crashed, he's just got a Russian background is all." They were contempt with that answer. I walked over and hugged him, more of a bro-to-bro hug. Then I noticed. "Wait, are you fucking drunk?" Jesus.
He walked, more or less stumbled , over to the 3 mares. "Whoa, when did the talking color things get here?" I facepalmed.
"God, this is what, the 2nd or 3rd time this has been explained." I just decided it would be best to wait. "I will have answers soon, my friend, but first, did you happen to cross any other ponies?" He nodded.
"I think I did, but I'm too drunk to remember. Well, now that I think back to it, I did see them, but, I can't remember where, but it was only about 5 minutes ago."
"Only 5 minutes, well they can't be to far, now can they!" Applejack said happily.
I really didn't want Dmitri shooting a gun when he's drunk ! "Rainbow, you mind taking tipsy back to Ponyville, while these two and I go looking for your friends?"
"Well, alright I guess, you can count on me!" She saluted.

Princess Celestia was sitting in her private chambers. She had been finally been relieved that her duties were done for the day. She just lied down, when a knock came on the door. She could only grind her teeth on her way to the doors. She opened it, with a stoic expression. "Yes?" trying her best to not sound completely pissed off.
"Your Majesty, a letter from Ponyville." answered the servant buck.
"Thank you. You may leave now."
"Yes, your Majesty." he said, as he squirmed away.
A letter from Twilight? She opened the letter, and began to read it.
Dear Princess Celestia,
Your presence is highly needed at Ponyville, for it appears we have some 'special visitors' from who knows where. Twilight, Fluttershy, and Rarity are missing and I'm beginning to worry. One of these humans, as they're called, is injured badly, and we need someone who has medical experience to do surgery.
Twilight's Most Trustful Assistant, Spike.
Celestia began to panic. The thought of harm to many ponies would be devestating. I need to get there now, my student and her friends, and possibly others are in danger. She immediately stood up, and walked to the door. She opened it with her magic. "Guards, retrieve my sister and a surgeon, we're needed at Ponyville, as fast as possible." They nodded, as one went to Luna's private chamber, while the other escorted the princess of the sun to one of the royal carriges. Time for a little trip to Ponyville.

"Come on! You can't even walk 10 feet without smacking fast first into the dirt." Rainbow Dash complained.
Dmitri slowly stood up and caught up to the hot headed mare. "You've never tasted alcohol in your life, have you?"
"Tasted what?" Rainbowdash inquired. He pulled out a clear bottle with liquid in it.
"Vodka, you know? How do you not know what alcohol is? What a shame." He took another small swig of the drink. "Well, I doubt you could even handle it anyways. . ." He trailed off, muttering something about, well, who knows what.
"Oh, I can handle it!" she grabbed the bottle with two hands, and took a small sip. She regretted it instantly. "Holy crap, that tastes bad."
Dmitri just laughed. "I told you!" he said, as he grabbed the bottle. Now, I'm not sure if you know this, but a pony's ability to stay sober after small amounts of the drink, is difficult.
Rainbow Dash was trying to walk, but she had an incredibly difficult time even standing. "Ugh, how do you drink this stuff?" she slurred at him.
"Many years of practice! I've been drinking since I can recall." Vodka everyday, any day was his motto.
The rainbow maned mare fell over and moaned. Dmitri just laughed, and picked her up. He slung her over her back like an infant. "I like you, very funny." he said, as they slowly began to reach the town.

Well, its short, but I wanted to get something at least out there. Not too much action, but that's not what it's always about. I'll keep working, I promise. Merry Christmas!
Special Operative ( Chapter 5 )
I'm terribly sorry guys that I haven't written for a long time, a lot of stuff has happened over the past month(s), hard to remember. I'll try to update more often.
I sat on the bed in the hospital. Yes, the bullet wound in my arm, but that didn't mean I couldn't be impatient. Rainbow Dash had left a book here before she left. Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone. Déjà vu. I put the book aside for now, and decided to look out the window. There were many ponies outside, holding cameras. It was obvious they saw what happened and the media would definitely want to cover a story about something as interesting as that. Not even the fact that Ponyville seemed like a small town, and not much news happened, but the fact that nopony ever saw anything like that happen. I really hope that the others are okay.
I heard the crowd quiet down and looked out the window. All of the ponies were bowing. There was a pony with wings and a horn, and it was bigger than the others. Her, at least I think, coat was a pristine white and had a vibrant multi-hued mane that blew in the wind, even though there was none. She had a crown on. Walking parallel to her was a similar pony, but her coat was a midnight blue. Her mane was a similar color, but it looked like a starry night. There was a third unicorn pony, he was brown, and had a short, darker colored mane, with a scalpel cutie mark. They must be the two princesses.

Celestia walked into the Ponyville hospital. She had her guards keep the horde of ponies at bay whilst she walked alongside her sister. It was time to meet this strange new creature. "Oh Tia! We wonder what thine monster looks like! Maybe even if they're technologically advanced!" Luna was so giddy, she hadn't been this excited since Nightmare Night.
"Well, I did over hear some of the ponies talking, they said they walked on their hind legs and had some sort of metal things." Celestia said, seeing the excitement increase on her sister's face. They approached the room they had the creature in. They opened the door and to our surprise, he was reading. Celestia coughed a little bit.
"Huh? Oh, hi." He said awkwardly, judging by the voice, at least she thought it was a he. He put the book aside, and smiled. He had a chiseled jaw, no fur whatsoever, and strange looking clothes on. He had a short mane if you could even call it one, and stubble. He also had pale skin, no snout, and brown eyes.
"Oh, we are so please to meet thine! Our name is Luna, and this is thous sister, Celestia!" Luna said, about 1/2 a foot away from his face.
"Uh, yeah, so why does she refer to herself in the third person as multiple people?" He asked.
"Oh that's just Luna, she was always weird." The sun princess smirked.
"Tia!" Luna frowned, but she quickly smiled taking it as a joke. "So, what's thine name?" Luna asked, impatiently awaiting her answer.
"Well, since your so interested my fine feathered friend, literally, my name is Michael Sanders, Private First Class of the United States Marine Corps. If you want to know what I am, which you obviously do, I am a human being from the planet Earth." He said, like it was practiced.
The two clueless Alicorns sat there. "Elaborate." said Celestia, Luna silently agreeing.
"Alright, here's the short. I come from a place called Earth, as I stated. The United States is one of the world's major powers. The Marine Corps is part of the military branch, and I am low on that status. The captain of squad is Dmitri Levkov. (Surprisingly.) If you wanted me to go into full detail, about the history of the U.S., that would take probably a day of constant learning, and not to mention the fact that it's one of hundreds of countries on the planet."
"Oh, Thou wishes to know more!" Luna said, pulling out a quill pen and pad of paper.
"Luna, maybe another time." Celestia said sternly. "Well, that would be nice to know more, but tell us how you got here."
So he told the two about how the plane had crashed and the Russian encounters. They barely made it out alive.
"And that's all up until this point, where I sit here, injured. Oh and not to mention this hurts." He said plainly, flinching a bit from touching the bandaged wound.
Celestia looked over to Luna. "Fetch the surgeon, would you sister?" She said. Luna nodded and ran out the door.
The two sat there in awkward silence. Somepony coughed. "So, you're the ruler here, correct?" he asked.
"Um, ah yes. Me and my sister rule here. I control the sun and she controls the moon." The goddess replied.
He had a look of confusion"Wait, you two control night and day? How is that even possible?" He asked
"Yes, we use our magic to move the sun and moon. We have magical connections with the celestial being and the lunar being."
Micheal furrowed his brow. "Riiiight."
The doors open and it was Luna with the surgeon. "Tia! There are more of the 'hoo mans' outside."
Micheal looked out the window, and to what he saw, was utter chaos. Ponies were running in every direction, attempting to flee. He saw four helicopters hovering in the air, with men in woodland camouflage armed with rifles. They had U.S. patches on their shoulders. "Special Operatives . . ."
Whoa! Kinda cliff hanger, sorta. . . not sure. Anyways, I actually wrote! WOO! I'll try to squeeze 1,000 - 1,500 word chapters out like. every week or so. Yes, this is short, but I wanted to get it out really fast. There might be grammatical errors, but try to not mind them.
This is just a quick recap of the last 4 chapters, because you probably need one. (Sorry)
Micheal and crew's plane crashes. They are then separated and left alone in the Everfree Forest. Micheal finds shelter. Soon afterwards he runs into RB Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie, in which Rainbow Dash tackles him and they soon become "allies" for now. On the way back, he is knocked unconscious by his ally and close friend, Cole. He wakes up, and talks about how the ponies here can talk. They run into Fluttershy's cabin and encounter a few enemy Russians. After they kill them, They find Alex tied up, and free him. Looking over to Ponyville they see a group of Russians headed towards the town. They open fire and kill them, but Micheal takes a bullet and needs a surgeon. Thus they contact the princesses to come to Ponyville and bring a surgeon. Meanwhile, Cole, Pinkie Pie, RBD, and Applejack head into the forest to find their three friends. They bump into Dmitri, who is drunk. Rainbow Dash takes him back to Ponyville.
All up until this point . . .
