In a matter of months it will be acquired by one of the larger papers and be turned into a more stable, if less career fulfilling, magazine.

In the midst of many investigators and writers using the last of the organization's funds and resources to go on vacations with minimal content articles to justify the expeditions Screwy Words takes a local job in Canterlot provided on a tip-off from Roseluck. Maybe this magic kindergarten thing is the last piece in the puzzle for his internal thoughts, maybe it's an interesting enough of a story to increase the subscriber base to something that keeps the paper afloat despite the horrible business practices and decisions.

What ever the case, Screwy Words is there trying to figure out how it fits into the larger picture, and educate ponydom of the truth.
