Or: The Applications of Advanced Acting Upon an Unsuspecting, Relatively Attractive Mare...

Princess Twilight Sparkle was a horrible actress. She knew it, her friends knew it, heck, even the Royal Sisters knew it. She couldn’t lie her way out of anything, let alone handle the extreme conditions of court. As such, the pair had decreed that the newest princess would be put on ‘temporary probation’, until such time as she could ‘perform her duties with the elegance and grace of an Equestria Princess’.

This, of course, had sparked quite a few problems in Twilight’s eyes. For one; she couldn’t teach herself to lie, which was obvious. And two; she knew only two teachers who could teach her what she needed to know without giving specifics. The first was Discord, who she didn’t trust within an inch of her, lest he cause another ‘cupcake’ incident. And the second was her friend Rarity, who had taken many acting courses throughout her life, and proclaimed herself a small town prodigy.

At first, Rarity had been reluctant, but, after some heavy pleading from Twilight and very specific promises that we won’t go into for now, she agreed. The going was slow, and the going was tough. But Twilight was determined, and over the course of two weeks, her skills began to develop. By the end of the final week, she could play a hand of poker and not have a single muscle twitch in her face as a royal flush lined up before her. She managed to convince Rarity that yes she really did need a book on advanced agricultural practices of the western plain Zebras. Rarity soon found herself struggling to keep up with her friends progress, and by the Thursday of the final week, she made an announcement.

Twilight was ready. They would have their final ‘lesson’ the next day, but after that, the princess was on her own. Of course Twilight had something planned. Of course Rarity knew nothing about it.

Today Twilight thought as she stood in front of the entrance to the Carousel Boutique. The master becomes the apprentice.

The chime above the door tinkled softly, and Rarity’s ears swiveled toward the sound, her eyes still glued to the fabric floating in her magic. “The boutique is closed at the moment darling!” she called out, her voice echoing in the relative quiet of her work room. “You’ll have to come back tomorrow, I’m expecting a guest soon!” After a few moments of silence, she broke her concentration and turned her gaze toward the door. “Hello? I said the boutique is closed!” She sighed, dropping the fabric and lifting herself out of the chair, her bare feet thudding lightly agains the hardwood flooring beneath her. She leaned back slightly, lifting her arms above her head and stretching her joints.

With a satisfied ‘pop’ her shoulders seemed to click in place, and she closed her eyes, letting out a soft moan of delight. Her body froze at the sound of her workroom door creaking, and tensed, her eyes slowly creeping open. A silhouette was outlined against the soft glow of the midday sun that shone through the large open windows of the boutique. The silhouette of the body ahead of her were set against the bright lights behind, and she could make out the subtle curves of her ‘guest’s’ upper body. She could tell by the lumps around the chest that her visitor was most definitely female, which was also set off by her stance.

The mare seemed to be leaning against the doorframe, her lower half jutting out slightly as she rested her hand on her hip. The relative dark of the room helped to obscure her face, and Rarity had to squint just to make out the colour of her coat. After a few moments like this, the assailant stepped into the room, and Rarity gave a small gasp of surprise. “Twilight?”

The mare stood from her position and stepped into the room, her features lighting up as the door slowly closed behind her. Twilight’s eyes shone brightly in the glow from the lamp, and her eyebrows were lowered slightly. Her gaze was fixed steadily on Rarity, and with each step, her determination seemed to grow stronger. A large, satisfied grin seemed to be plastered on her face, and she seemed to ooze confidence, which sent a soft shiver up Rarity’s spine. As she grew closer, Rarity spoke up again, her voice faltering slightly.

“D-darling, our lesson’s not until-” Rarity’s voice slowly faded out as she felt Twilight press a finger against her lips. The mare shushed her silently, before returning her lips to a smug smile.

“Rarity,” she spoke, and Rarity felt another pulse of electricity shoot up her spine. Her cheeks began to flush, and her eyes flickered away from Twilight’s, her demeanor failing. “Don’t think I haven’t noticed.”

“Noticed wh-?” Twilight pressed her finger against Rarity’s lips once more, the tip pursing her lips slightly.

“Don’t think I haven’t noticed,” she reiterated. “The way you’ve been looking at me.” She slowly lifted her finger away, sliding her hand around Rarity’s head and intertwining her fingers through her hair. “Don’t worry.” Twilight exhaled, leaning her head forward and bringing her face closer to Rarity’s. Rarity felt her eyes slowly flutter closed, and she pushed gently against Twilight’s force. “I feel the same.” In an instant, Twilight brought her lips forward, and pressed them firmly against Rarity’s.

The alabaster mare froze, then, her head stock still as the reality of the situation hit her. She could feel Twilight’s body pressing against hers, the warm touch of her hand as her fingers massaged through her hair, each movement causing soft shivers. Rarity’s eyes slowly opened, and they focused instantly onto the large, violet orbs of Twilight’s who stared back with near morbid curiosity. The mare’s eyebrows hardened once again, the slight flush that had crept onto her lavender cheeks faded from view, and Rarity felt something knew press against her lips.

After a moment, Rarity felt her lips slowly part, and her eyes shot open with shock. Twilight’s tongue had forced its way into her mouth. It darted across her teeth, running against the warm white of Rarity’s inner mouth. Twilight pulled back then, sucking in a small breath and placing her smug grin back on her features. Rarity gasped for air, her cheeks well and truly red. She turned her eyes on Twilight, a shocked expression over her face. She could feel drops of sweat trickling down her forehead, but she dared not move, lest she break the sudden silence that had fallen upon the pair.

A sort of husk hang in the air, and whilst Rarity felt the silence had begun to drag on, Twilight’s smug grin betrayed any forms of regret she should have been feeling. Rarity felt her arm begin to twitch, and she glanced away from Twilight for a mere second. When she looked back up, the purple mare was inches away from her, her large eyes peering into Rarity’s with an almost archaic lust.

“Twilight Darling, I-” She was cut off again as Twilight pressed her lips against her once more, this time with renewed vigor. She forced her tongue between Rarity’s lips yet again, but instead of the wall of teeth she had
