Chapter 1- New desires

Princess Celestia walked about the corridors of her vast home, as the moon shone in through the windows of the castle, she had had a busier day than normal with a meeting with the chancellor of Saddle Arabia and now her bed was calling her. As she approached her room she spotted her sister waiting for her by the door.

“Luna what seems to be the trouble dear sister?” she asked as she looked at the face of her sister, she knew something was wrong, tears were streaming down the dark blue pony’s face and Celestia felt her heart ache as she knew her sister’s struggles.

“Sister, I’m going to try for a foal” Luna said in no uncertain terms “I feel so unfulfilled of late and maybe if I had a little foal to care for then I would feel more fulfilled”

They had, had this discussion and the answer was easy “No, you know we cannot have foals and we have talked about this” Celestia said feeling her own heart break. While it was true they had discussed the idea of having foals the trouble was that such an undertaking had never been attempted for an untold amount of time but then again Celestia would have been lying to herself if she had said she herself had not given it a lot of thought “Luna, please we have to put the needs of Equestria ahead of our own wants and desires”

Luna looked at the opposite wall with a look of deep sadness upon her face “That’s absurd those rules are too old to be relied on. We have more help from two more princesses and don’t lie to me you have felt the urge” she said her sadness switching to frustration “I want some foal to care for and you’re not stopping me”

Celestia face softened “So you went to the two foals, Sweetiebell and Scootaloo. You helped them so you could fill that hole” she asked, Luna had not told her but she had found out in her own way “You do know intruding on the dreams of our subjects is an abuse of your duty to protect dreams? You cannot expect me to let you continue misusing your power”

Luna snapped “I only did that to help them and thanks to me they became better fillies” Celestia could tell her sister was on the verge of crying “At least I don’t buck mares like Twilight! Don’t lie to me, I’ve seen the way you have stared at her!” she imminently looked horrified at what she had said.

There was a long moment of silence before Celestia spoke “Leave me. NOW!” she was unable to control her total rage “Go now! Leave me! Now! I don’t want your vile tongue in my presence”

Luna walked sadly away as Celestia opened the door to her room, as the door slammed shut tears began to course down her face, she had not argued with Luna like that since that night and now she had hurt her worse than ever. She climbed into her bed, she then closed her eyes trying to force herself to fall asleep but she suddenly felt herself thinking about Luna’s comment. Was that what every pony thought? Did they think she had bucked Twilight?

“No, I would never resort to that” Celestia said to herself “Twilight is like a daughter to me?”

Suddenly a voice that sounded like hers, if she was talking through a filter filled her head “But why do you waste your time suppressing the lust you have for that cute unicorn?”

Celestia said “It’s not like that, she is precious to me”

“Just think about that little violet mare, her tight flank, long mane and those inviting lips” The voice responded

“Yes….yes…yes, she is soooo beautiful” suddenly Celestia realised her hoof was massaging her marehood, which by now was soaked. She shook her head “No…no this can’t be!”

“Why not?” the same evil voice said “You are the ruler, take what you want”

Celestia continued to massage herself “No, please I can’t and Twilight would never forgive me”

“Just think that body, that mind, all of it could be yours and then you could have more willing buck slaves like her” the voice stated

Suddenly Celestia felt the voice take over her mind “Y..yyes, she will not be able to resist me and I’ll take my prize” Celestia got up from her bed and headed for the window, which she opened and spread her wings “Twilight my love you’ll be mine”

Celestia flew for Ponyville, the minutes ticked by so slowly and Celestia could feel her arousal turn to frustration. She could see the town growing closer and closer.

She then arrived at the castle of the Princess of friendship, she knocked on the door before opening it and made her way towards Twilight’s room.

It was then that a door with a toilet sign on it to her right opened and Spike walked out clearly very tired but Celestia didn’t have time to waste on the dragon.

“Oh princess what are you doing here at this time of night?” asked Spike sleepily rubbing the sleep from his eyes “Wait! Twilight’s not in….” Celestia didn’t let the dragon finish her horn glowed with magic as she used a spell to knock the dragon out.

“Sorry Spike but you’ll have to wait till we’re finished” her horn glowed again and Spike was placed in the bathroom and the door was locked

Suddenly the evil voice in her head said “You’d better kill him, he’s seen too much”

Celestia reasoned with the voice “We don’t need to kill him; he’ll just pass it off as a dream”

“I suppose but if he talks…”

“I get it”

She began to walk towards where she thought Twilight would be sleeping. She then arrived at her assumed target’s door, Twilight’s room; she quietly opened the door and spotted the object of her desire sound asleep in bed on the far side of the room. Celestia turned to the door she had just closed, turning the key in the lock.

She walked over to the bed, placed her head next to Twilight’s as she gently stroked her mane and said gently “My sweet Twilight, I’ve been watching you achieve so much and now I want to reward you” Twilight didn’t even stir. Celestia couldn’t help but admire the beauty of her face, the gentle way she breathed in through her nose and exhaled just as gently.

Celestia could feel the folds of her sex getting moist with arousal. Celestia began to shake Twilight gently “Twilight my love wake up”

Twilight’s eyes fluttered open “Princess Celestia! What are you doing here? Oh goodness what have I done, I promise I’ll try bett…” she began before Celestia wrapped her lips around Twilight’s lips, Twilight tensed up and began to struggle “Mmmmm!!” Celestia kept her front hooves around Twilight’s back as she continued to kiss Twilight. Celestia then pushed her tongue past Twilight’s lips and began to explore Twilight’s mouth and felt the warm taste of Twilight’s tongue enter her mouth. Twilight continued to struggle “Mmmmmm!!” but Celestia kept one hoof around her as she reached down with the other one to Twilight’s sex, it was so wet and Celestia wanted to taste it.

Celestia then pulled away leaving a trail of drool between the two of them “I’m sorry Twilight but I can’t help myself anymore, you mean the world to me and I need you in my life. I love you more than I can tell” she said into Twilight’s ear.

Suddenly the evil voice sounded in her head and it asked “Why should you care how she feels? Just take her!” but Celestia ignored it.

Twilight looked flushed but said “I’ve been wanting this for so long too. I..I..want your…your tongue in my mouth again” she sounded so breathless “Please I feel so hot”

Celestia smirked and said as she traced her hoof around one of Twilight’s nipples “only if you buck me too” it was Twilight’s turn to kiss as she wrapped her lips around Celestia’s lips. Her tongue wasted no time in entering Celestia’s mouth and it went about asserting its dominance over Celestia’s tongue. After another few minutes of passionate kissing they parted “Oh Twilight, I love you so much, please be mine?”

Twilight smiled “Yes, my heart is yours” as she lay down and spread her back legs revealing her dripping marehood, it was making a stain upon the sheets of her bed “As is my body but please take me”

Twilight smiled “And I cannot live without you” it was then that they locked their mouths together and Celestia knew her love had been right “Celestia, what about the others, what will they think?” Twilight asked as they parted

Celestia groaned “Ah, Yes that is a problem, Luna will never accept this and I don’t know about your friends” she said as she then began to stroke Twilight’s marehood “But I don’t want to give this up”

Twilight smiled “Then I’m sure the others will accept this” she then kissed Celestia on the lips before her eyes closed.

Celestia smiled as Twilight fell asleep in her front limbs; obviously the bucking had taken its toll. Celestia tucked her back into bed, knowing she had to get back to raise the sun but knowing she had Twilight for support. As Celestia left the castle she heard a cough from behind her as she turned she saw a creature hovering down from the upper part of the castle she had not expected, Discord who was now smirking and Celestia’s heart sank.

He landed next to her and using his lion’s paw to cup her face, she pulled away as quickly as she could “Oh, Tia what’s the matter you’re not feeling in the mood anymore?”

“What do you mean, Discord?” Celestia growled, she could feel anger well up from inside her, what had he seen “I…I..w…w..as…ju..just checking on Spike’s de..development” she then stuttered

The evil voice in her head then said “This could prove more fun, than that slut, Twilight”

Celestia in her head told the voice to “Shut up!”

Discord smirked, despite his reformation, he still always had an air of menace and only a foolish foal would underestimate his intelligence “Oh really, from what I saw you were also checking on Twilight’s development as a mare” he snapped his lion paw and a picture of Celestia licking Twilight’s marehood appeared, how on the wide Equestria had Discord got the picture was beyond Celestia but then she remembered who she was talking to “Did she taste good? I have always wondered if Twilight would be fun in bed”

Celestia realised she was trapped and Discord had all the pieces he needed “What do you want from me?” she murmured unable to manage anything more than that “Please don’t tell…”

Discord began to laugh “Oh, my here I was just thinking about what fun I could have and you practically offer me a blank check” as he said his a check with nothing on it but Celestia’s signature appeared in Discord’s paw “I suppose I could ask for anything a bride perhaps, my own castle or maybe your kingdom. Nah, I think I know exactly what I want”

Celestia gulped “And that is…oh no!” Discord had appeared behind her and lifted her tail up to reveal her damp marehood, he used two of his talons to open her sex and then he pushed a third talon into her “St..t..op, please”

Discord withdrew his claw and licked it “mmm, you taste good, now I bet you can guess what I want?” he said chuckling “I want you and your mare friend to be become my buck buddies for a night. Tomorrow night I shall return here and you will present yourselves to me”

“Please don’t do this, what about your promise to Twilight?”

Discord sighed “I’ll be honest with you Celestia, I’ll never use my magic for evil again but I do have needs and you and princess Twilight will fulfil them” he suddenly snapped his claw and he looked like he had aged two thousand years “Besides I’m not getting any younger and I want an heir to the reins of chaos”

“Leave Twilight out of this, please, I’ll be your buck buddy for a mon…aaaahhh” Celestia said her voice failing her as Discord rammed two of his Talons into her marehood again, he began to push his talons in and out of her. Celestia felt her legs give way under her and she was left on the ground panting as Discord withdrew his claws “Please….just use me”

“You’re hardly in a position to make demands like that and besides if it were just you what chance would you two have for bonding” Discord chuckled as he snapped his lion paw, Celestia felt a collar wrap around her neck and a ball gag was placed in her mouth “I might reconsider though if you do one thing”

"Mmmmm!" she then remembered to remove the gag “And that is” she said as she removed the ball gag but couldn’t get the collar off.

Discord cupped her face and said “Bring a replacement for Twilight” Celestia couldn’t agree to this and shook her head sadly defeated “Alright, see you tomorrow night” as he disappeared.

Celestia said to herself “I suppose I don’t have a choice but to head back to Canterlot” she spread her wings and flew towards Canterlot, her heart heavy with worry and wondering if it would be possible to find Discord another willing party.

Little did Celestia know that in the shadows of the castle stood a shadowy figure who simply said “Perfect!” before it disappeared.

Chapter 2- Beware of the dark

As the sun shone bright above the kingdom of Equestria, Celestia walked into her castle from raising that glorious orb of light but her mind was clattered with different thoughts and all seemed to be about one question. Was something wrong with her? She had spent the previous night bucking her student, being groped by Discord and not even resisting, so the short answer was yes but what was that voice she had heard? Was it her or was it something more dangerous?

“Is there any way to know the truth?” she asked herself

She had to find some answers, as she walked into her throne room, her eyes were drawn to a picture older than others immortalized in glass and it was of a dear friend long lost to the curses of time, Starswirled the bearded. She then remembered his last warning to her and all of Equestria. How could she have forgotten the terrible omen that had brought about the worst time in her life?

----------------------------------------------------------Flashback---------------------------------------------------------------

It had been was a few years since the rule of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had begun, things were as stressful as they could have been but thanks to the advice of the wise Starswirled the bearded things were easier than Celestia could have hoped for.

It was then on the darkest of rainy nights within the confines of their throne room, that Celestia and Luna received the most devastating news that shook them to their cores. As the rain continued to pour down, Celestia heard the sound of hooves approaching the doors of the throne room, in burst one of their guards, he was panting heavily and his hooves shook under him.

“Your highnesses, Starswirled is nowhere to be found!” He said to the princesses as he caught his breath “We have searched the entire castle”

Celestia looked at her list of tasks and rose to her hooves “I want you to search beyond the walls and borders of Equestria till he is found”

The following search turned up practically nothing but what little was discovered was a roll of old parchment that was dated to the day before Starswirled disappeared. Celestia looked at the parchment with tears in her eyes and wondered why the search teams had deemed it as important. Starswirled was considered wise beyond wise, he had saved Equestria so often that Celestia thought of him as unbeatable but now the greatest unicorn to date was missing and all the search teams could turn up some tatty bit of parchment.

Princess Luna stared at her “Are you going to read it?” she asked “Maybe it’s a clue”

As Celestia opened the scroll she could tell one thing, it had a powerful spell placed upon it and Celestia stared at the words upon the parchment and felt her mouth open in silent awe. It was a prophecy that in years that followed, Celestia would learn to respect and fear above all others.

Thou must learn to fear the power that offers itself without a cost

Know that all power no matter its form has a side of darkness

Know when the star snake is born the Darkness will be unleased

When anger overcomes laughter, hatred is born

Hatred gives rise to Darkness and fear

When honesty loses to Pride, it allows judgment to become clouded

Beware Pride’s corruption and its lies

If Loyalty becomes jealousy then loyalty will surely fail

Know that no good can come of envy

Generosity to one’s self, is self-indulgence

Self-indulgence will lead to ever more darker desires

As Kindness grows into lust the sins of the flesh will drive out remaining kindness

Replacing it as a force of longing and needing

Less Magic gives much do not ask too much from it as this is greed

Greed asks of others much and of ourselves nothing

Beware these six vices as they form the six vices of the nightmare.

The nightmare elements will corrupt purity and will bring about the beginning of………

The rest of the scroll was too damaged to make out the remaining paragraphs but the message was clear to Celestia. A new threat was on its way and they had to be ready to protect the elements of harmony.

After Luna finished reading the scroll she sighed “You know what this means?” she asked and after Celestia nodded “Discord must have unleased the elements of disunity before we defeated him”

“We have no way of knowing what Starswirled meant by any of this” said Celestia trying to regain her composure “We have to remember that the elements of disunity are nothing but a legend”

“The elements of harmony were once a legend”

As Celestia sat in her throne thinking about the old prophecy she didn’t notice, the doors to the throne room open and her sister entered. She walked slowly towards the throne and stopped just short of the steps that led up to said throne.

“Sister, I have come to extent a full and total apology for my comments last night” Luna said with full remorse, snapping Celestia out of her thoughts “I just wasn’t thinking”

Celestia climbed down from her throne and embraced her sister in a hug “It’s okay I should have been more sensitive to your feelings, since we were young, you have always been strong and it’s natural you have an urge to share that strength with a foal of your own. I will admit that it took courage to help those fillies”

Luna’s face saddened “I know how you feel about the idea of me having a foal. I want you to know I won’t fail in my duty again”

“Do you still want a foal?” Celestia asked.

“Yes but what about our promise” she said, Luna’s expression was that of confusion “If I become pregnant I might not be able to raise the moon in the later stages?”

Celestia grinned “I think I can handle raising the moon and sun again. So long as your happy. You are aware of the dangers?” she said her expression and words full of concern.

Luna nodded “I do know but I’m willing to risk it” she said her voice filled with her normal strength “Just think if I’m able to conceive then there might be one more Alicorn”

“Or one fewer” Celestia signed “Remember that the dangers are still great” she remembered the old legends from her youth “It may cost you your immortality”

Luna smiled “Maybe that would be for the best if it meant being able to share my life with another” she looked at the ceiling “So do you know who I could ask?”

Celestia knew she had to phrase this in just the right way “Luna, I have a confession” her voice croaked

Luna smiled “No need to tell me dear sister, you’re in love with a pony you shouldn’t be” she said “As your sister there is little you can hide from me. In the same way I will always love and accept who you are, you mean the world to me and all I ask is that you’re honest with me” she then embraced Celestia in a hug.

Celestia then looked into her sister’s eyes and saw the same pony she had grown up with, the same kind, headstrong and capable mare “I love her so much and I did something unforgiveable last night”

Luna looked at her sister and with an encouraging look said “Who is it?”

“Twilight, I owe her so much and I couldn’t control myself last night” Celestia cried her eyes streaming with tears “What makes it worse I shouldn’t feel this way”

“Does she feel the same way you do?” Luna asked staring at Celestia, as she nodded with her eyes still filled with tears “Well then that’s alright. Can you be blamed for how your body feels? No, only an ignorant self-serving ass would blame you. What’s more you should embrace your heart; for so long we have locked our hearts away but love has a part in all things” Luna said her voice soft and kind as she whipped her sister’s eyes with her wing “I get the impression that something else has happened to make you feel that this way”

Celestia simply said “Discord”

Luna sighed “What does he want?” she didn’t care what price had to be paid; she would do her upmost to help her sister.

Celestia then calmed down and told Luna what had happened the previous evening. Luna had to admit the way Celestia had gone about sharing her feelings with Twilight had been totally tactless and stupid. Then Celestia got to the part about Discord and Luna couldn’t help but be completely horrified. She couldn’t trust Discord even after he had showed such positive signs that he had changed but this was extreme even for him. So Luna had a choice to make “He can have me”

“Are you sure? He might…”

“I’m aware of what he might do” Luna said her voice asserting her strong will “Send him the message”

Celestia got out a roll of parchment, writing a message upon it and sent it to Discord. Celestia had told Discord in her letter that he was to come to Canterlot instead but she neglected to include the detail about Luna. Discord’s reply then arrived, he had agreed to this but he had also placed a warning inside his letter “Be prepared for anything”

As Luna and Celestia waited for Discord’s arrival they both knew that after the night was through things would never be the same again. The moon had already been raised and now all they had to do was wait within Celestia’s bedchamber with the doors locked and the guards sent to patrol far from the room.

As Celestia stared out the window there was a small popping sound behind her and there stood Discord in his all his finery, he looked like he was going to the grand galloping gala “So Celestia, you have found a willing mare?” he drawled

“Yes”

Discord smirked he had not let noticed Luna “So who is it” he giggled, to which Luna made a small noise in her throat, Discord turned and at first he was clearly surprised but that didn’t last “So, you have betrayed your own sister and here I thought you couldn’t fall much further”

“Enough!” Luna snapped, her expression was full of anger “Just get it over with”

“Oh why so eager Princess” Discord said cupping Celestia face “Is it possible this wasn’t your idea, Celestia?”

Luna’s expression worsened, hard as that maybe to believe “You came here to buck us. Not insult us” she growled, she turned away from Discord and raised her flank “Now do it”

“Sorry princess but I have an alternative plan. Celestia hasn’t told you about the collar I placed on her?” he asked, he already knew the answer as Luna shook her head “Well that was meant for whoever Celestia brought with her tonight” as he said this the collar disappeared from Celestia’s neck and wrapped itself around Luna’s neck.

“What the..?!” was all Luna managed before a ball gag wrapped around her face and ropes bound her. A rope tied her mane to her tail exposing her marehood but a length of rope then tied itself across her marehood forming a flankrope. Some more rope tied her legs and her wings were also tied down to her body. “mmmmmm”

“Alright Luna, I’ll be with you in a little bit but until then you can just sit by and watch” Discord said as he levitated Luna onto the bed, he then turned his attention towards Celestia “Okay Celestia bend over and let me inspect your flank”

Celestia did as she was told “You better keep your word” as Discord began to massage Celestia’s flank “Or I’ll ahhhh…! She screamed as Discord rammed a talon into her ass.

“Oh you’re sensitive” he mocked as he pumped his talon in and out of her “Does it feel good?”

“Stop it!” Celestia moaned, she had to admit it felt good but she wanted this over as soon as possible.

Discord couldn’t help but laugh “Eager to get to are we, well let’s see how well your mouth can pleasure me and you’ll get exactly what you want” as he said this he removed his talon from Celestia’s ass and walked in front of her “So are you ready?”

Celestia looked up at Discord and murmured “Yes” she placed her head next to where she assumed Discord’s member was, confirmed as she began to lick the now limp member and she knew one thing it was one large member but what did she expect this was a being who could shift reality to suit himself. After a few minutes it was finally erect and Celestia knew one other thing, she hated the taste and she said “ready?”

“Oh yes Tia now bend over” Discord mused as she did he placed his front legs on her flank and said with a voice that was clear he was serious “Now if it starts to hurt, tell me and I’ll stop”

Celestia was surprised to say the least; she said in disgust “Why do you care?”

Discord sighed “I care because I have read the signs” his voice began to grow dark “We have to get the lust out of you, you have let those feelings built for over a thousand years and if something isn’t done. The risk of disaster doesn’t bear thinking about”

“mmmmm!” asked Luna from the bed and Discord snapped his claw removing the gag “What do you mean?”

Discord scowled “Have you ever heard of the elements of disunity?” both Alicorn’s nodded feeling very numb “Well the legends I was told as a young being of chaos about the elements of harmony and their dark counter parts are beyond terrifying. They said that if one should fail their element or elements, the elements of disunity would be unleased and a nightmare would be born”

“So has this happened?” asked Celestia fearing the answer

“The last time it happened was over a thousand years ago. When a certain princess failed the elements of laughter, honesty and loyalty. This lead to the rise of Nightmare Moon, even within my stone prison I saw what was happening and that the time was pleased but now fear overcomes me” Discord explained looking over at Luna “I had hoped since you both were no longer linked with the elements, the danger had passed but I was wrong. Celestia, I forgot that when the new elements of harmony were formed, your tie with them had been severed in the wrong way and the elements of disunity have used the opportunity to pray on a moment of anger. They thrive on the worst of pony kind, they’ll be looking for a way to destroy the bearers of the elements of harmony and obviously the best way to go about it…”

“Would be corrupting me” Celestia murmured in horror

Luna suddenly had a thought that should have been obvious “But the elements of harmony were returned to the tree?”

“Doesn’t matter, the element’s power is still alive and well in Twilight and her friends. They can still call upon them and that means the danger is all the greater” Discord said he then placed his claw on Celestia’s head “I can think of no better way to defeat the current elements than to corrupt another former bearer”

“Is it too late?” asked Celestia

Discord crossed his front limbs “Well, you have already done the first step, by riding yourself of your magic when Tirek attacked, it gave the dark elements less to prey on, but there are two more elements to worry about” he said his voice darkening ever more “You need to rid yourself of either the element or the vice”

Celestia then had a thought “Wait you turned Twilight and her friends into the opposite of their true selves, shouldn’t that have severed the connection?”

“What are the vices?” asked Luna

“The problem is that the connection wasn’t severed by choice. I forced the ponies to change, they didn’t choose it for themselves and it wasn’t a natural process. If the spell had lasted even a day longer then the connection would have been severed” As Discord spoke he snapped his talon and he was dressed like a mad scientist “I only know one vice and that’s Kindness’s opposite number, Lust”

“Why is it lust?”

“Well you see the vices are either the opposite version of the elements or twisted versions. The elements of disunity were created by the darkest villain that any world has ever seen. He has plagued other worlds, some were destroyed and others succeeded in defeating him but at a terrible cost” Discord sad and he paused “They say he still exists in the shadows of this world waiting to strike”

“If he is so powerful, why does he wait?” asked Celestia

“What’s with all the questions? I don’t have all the answers, you know but I do know this, he doesn’t want to waste his energy in a meaningless fight that he might lose, it’s easier to create a force capable of corrupting and allowing us to destroy ourselves” he paused again and on the darkest note yet “So he can take over and enslave the survivors”

“So if we remove both vices from me, will the danger pass” Celestia asked feeling sick “Wait, was it necessary to act like a complete ass?”

“Sorry I thought it would be more fun. But…”Discord sadly shook his head “For that to happen, we’ll have to do something unthinkable” both Alicorns waited with baited breath “We’ll have to go to another world and search for allies to fight in the upcoming war against the darkest threat Equestria has faced to date. The expulsion of lust will only be a delay tactic and might give us two months at best. At worst it won’t make a difference to the outcome of what might be already a lost war”

“Let’s get on with this then” Luna said smiling, then she looked at the state she was in “Can I be untied first thou? And please Discord I ask that you cum inside me?”

“How dare you?” Discord laughed “I wrote the book on writing books about charm”

“Yeah that and ego” Luna giggled

However outside they were unaware they were being watched by two sets of evil eyes “They seem so happy. It makes me sick” the first groaned “Your plan isn’t working, we’re still no closer and they're bucking like bucking rabbits”

The second growled “We may need to alter our plans for it to work”

The first smiled evilly “Why not corrupt a new bearer?”

The second then also smiled “Corrupting the new bearer of kindness, would be easy and fun. Or we could kidnap the new foal”

“Relax, Greed” the first growled “We have time, besides wouldn’t it be more fun to wait and let the darkness seep into this world. Besides these ponies are no match for us”

“Waiting’s too boring but you have a point” Greed grumbled “What’s going on in that jealous mind of yours, Envy?”

“Let’s just say it’s a plan that will get us everything this world has”

As Envy whispered the rest of his plan into Greed’s ear, an evil smile appeared on Greed’s face and he laughed “Now that I like the sound of”

Author's Note

Okay, chapter 2 is done and I'm glad of it. I had a hard time writing the second chapter but the villians are glorious. I know Discord acted like a dick at the start but I feel this is within his character. I do feel, I rushed Luna and Discord but I wanted to get that point across.

Chapter 3- Laughter Lost

It was a dark night in the city of Manehattan, the moon was being obscured by many dark clouds and the wind was covering the sound of a monster.

“NO!NO!GET AWAY FROM ME!” a frightened white Pegasus mare screamed as she ran down the deserted alleys of Manehattan, her wing had been damaged by her attacker and she could no longer fly. She then took the wrong turn right into a dead-end. As she turned she saw her attacker draw closer, it was a terrifying sight, the creature stood taller than any Minotaur but the rest of it was hidden in shadow. The Pegasus mare started to shake but managed “Please don’t” in a small voice.

The creature laughed cruelly “Ha, do you really think, I’m going to stop now!” the creature reached down with a shadowy claw “Now you’re…you know envy, your timing really sticks” the creature growled as it looked towards a tall building and near the top stood another shadowy creature.

Envy jumped down and said “Oh don’t let me interrupt. I don’t see your fasciation in raping these weak ponies, Anger, it’s not like they have any worth and what is this your twentieth victim?” as anger grabbed the scared Pegasus “They never live, so what’s the point?”

Anger laughed again as he forced his victims back legs apart “Twenty second, I’m just practising before I buck the shit out of the element of laughter’s bearer” he snarled before he roughly shoved a giant shadowy member into the poor Pegasus’s marehood, who let out a ear-piercing scream and blood began to leak out of her “Oh a virgin!” Anger stated with cruel satisfaction as he began to thrust in and out.

“I wonder if laughter, will laugh when you do that to her?” Envy joked as he traced his shadowy finger through the pool of blood forming and licked his fingers “Blood always tastes better through suffering”

Anger kept thrusting and laughed back “Well, What are you going to do with that cunt that bears loyalty?” he asked as his victim cried out for mercy “Silence you worthless, whore”

Envy was silent for a minute or so “I think, I might ensure she can’t die. So I can drain her of her blood and have a nice big glass of her each morning. Then the next day she’ll have a fresh glass for me” he said imagining it “Or maybe I’ll just give her to you”

Anger was intrigued “It’s rare for you to give anything. What do you want?” Anger said as he climaxed into the Pegasus and left his victim in a crumpled heap on the ground.

Envy laughed “Well, I want to listen to her scream”

Anger laughed “Never a dull moment with you” suddenly the Pegasus groaned.

“Oh she’s still alive” Envy observed, he bent down “Do you still want this one?”

Anger said “Yeah, I could use another pet, not all the mares I buck die and this’ll be my fifth pet” he seemed barely interested “I wonder what the others will do to the other bearers?”

“I’ll take a bet lust will buck Kindness, mercilessly” Envy added, he sounded disgusted at the mere thought “That guy always creeps me out”

Anger nodded as he attached hoof cuffs to his new pet “P…P..Please let me go!” the weak mare said “I have a sister, she needs me”

Anger’s natural cruelty appeared “Then, I’m sure she’ll cry over your grave” he sheared as he flipped the mare onto his shoulder “Are you ready to go meet the others?” he asked Envy.

Envy laughed again “Don’t I get a prize?” he joked.

Anger couldn’t help but sneer “Well, I suppose we could go grab this one’s sister but I thought you didn’t buck mares”

Envy gave Anger a piercing stare “I suppose I could try it since the rest of you already do it”

Anger turned his head towards his prize “Where is your sister?” he didn’t wait for an answer, his what we can assume was his tongue entered the mares mouth and started to move about.

“MMMMM!” the poor mare weakly resisted as the tongue did its job. She then said in an almost zombified state “She lives over there, master” as she pointed towards a tall building but her hoof was clearly pointing to one particular window.

Envy was pleased “I’ll go collect mine” he suddenly disappeared, he was gone two minutes before he returned with a sleeping yellow mare Pegasus pony with a long light blue mane. She was tightly bound in rope.

Anger laughed as he admired the new mare “You’ve defiantly got the cuter one!”

Envy looked at his prize and sighed “Yeah but yours is awake and her resistance was cute” The two evil beings then began to laugh and then disappeared in a combined cloud of purple smoke.

“AAAAAHHHH!” Pinkie Pie screamed awaking from her nightmare, her brow was soaked with sweat and unlike normal she couldn’t find the strength to smile “What was that?” she said to herself.

As Pinkie got up she rubbed the sleep from her eyes, she looked at her front hooves and she cried. She couldn’t help but cry, what she had seen was so terrible and it scared her. She walked towards her bathroom, as she turned on the tap, the door banged open and in charged Mr Cake.

“Pinkie, what’s wrong?!” he said with deep concern but seeing Pinkie, he felt worse than ever “Oh, dear are you okay?”

Pinkie collapsed into Mr Cake’s shoulder and cried “I..I..sa…w…I…I…..c..c…a…an’t…”

Mr Cake was studded, there were nightmares then there was this “SShhh there, there let it all out, it was just a nightmare”

“N..Nooo! You have to listen to me, they..th..ey” Pinkie continued to cry

Pinkie Pie was inconsolable, she was left crying for hours, and Mr and Mrs Cake were left with no choice. They called Twilight, who rushed over as soon as she could but what awaited her was worse than she could imagine. Pinkie upon seeing Twilight leapt forward and continued to cry into Twilight’s shoulder.

“Pinkie, Pinkie what happened?” asked Twilight trying to calm Pinkie down.

Pinkie however seemed completely devastated by what she had seen and Mr Cake stepped in “Earlier this evening we heard Pinkie scream and we came to see what was happening. When I got in, she was in her bathroom crying uncontrollably on the floor and she kept crying out about they”

Twilight turned to Mr Cake with Pinkie still keeping a tight hold “Did she say anything else?”

Mr Cake shook his head “Like you, we couldn’t help her and she was crying for hours” he said sadly “We have to do something”

Twilight sighed as she took hold of Pinkie’s shoulders and stared straight into her eyes “Pinkie, I know what you saw in your nightmare was terrible but if you don’t tell us, then I can’t help you” she said trying to sound as level headed as she could but even for logical Twilight her heart was breaking to see such a good friend in such

distress “Please Pinkie tell us?”

Pinkie sniffed “…I s..s..aw…mon…monsters in Manehattan!” it was then that it all became too much again and Pinkie’s resolve broke “Th..th..ey…a..r..e…g..oi…ng…to ahahah” she couldn’t help it, she started crying again.

Twilight decided now was the time to give Pinkie space “Okay, Pinkie, why don’t you try getting some more sleep? I’ll come back, at lunch time and we can have some lunch” she said trying to be as supportive as she could, she then turned to Mr and Mrs Cake who as of this moment were horrified by what they had seen “keep an eye on her” Twilight said to them unable to keep tears from her own eyes.

As Twilight left, she was intercepted by her number one assistant “So did you help Pinkie?” Spike asked clearly expecting the answer to be a cheerful yes. One look from Twilight blew that into tiny bits “What happened?” he couldn’t keep the worry from his voice.

“Pinkie had a nightmare that has shaken her up worse than ever, it had something to do with Manehattan and monsters!” Twilight said with tears continuing to pour down her face “What kind of nightmare could scare a pony like Pinkie Pie so badly?”

Spike thought about it “I always thought it was impossible. She always seems so happy and full of life” he said feeling scared “It can’t have been real though?”

Twilight knew that this was logical but something continued to bug her “Maybe but Pinkie seemed so sure and she always has had a sixth sense about this sort of thing” she mused as they walked into the castle, Twilight had a strange feeling she was being watched but when she turned her head all she saw was darkness “Must have been my imagination” she said to herself as the doors slammed shut.

If only.

Celestia and Luna had just finished raising the sun and lowering the moon, when Luna giggled and Celestia smiled “Oh, what’s so funny?” Celestia asked, it had been two weeks since their little meet up with Discord and Celestia had been feeling unusually calm “So when are we going to make the announcement?”

Luna returned her sister’s smile “Discord and I are still discussing how we are going to get this to work. So when are you going to do more with Twilight?” she teased “I would like her as my sister in law”

Celestia was silent for a moment while she thought it over, she had been in regular contact with Twilight and they had decided to take their relationship further “I think, I’ll announce it at the same time you announce the wedding and we can have a joint one”

Luna smirked “You think, I’m willing to share?” she joked, suddenly her eyes fell as a bit of hovering parchment floated towards Celestia and her sister opened it “What does it say?”

Celestia’s face fell as she said “Twilight says Pinkie Pie had a terrible nightmare, that has left the pony very distressed and they can’t get a straight answer from her” she turned to her sister “What kind of nightmare could do that?”

Luna was shaking “I can’t imagine, such nightmares shouldn’t be possible” she said fear beginning to creep into her words; she shook her head “Maybe Discord knows something?”

As they approached Discord’s room they prepared to enter the ever changing room. As the door opened, the room looked like an old fashioned saloon bar from the wild west and Discord was behind the bar “YEEHA! Welcome to the best bar in town! I’m Mr D and this here is my little slice of the west” he said in a terrible Cow pony impersonation “What can I get for, y’all?”

Luna couldn’t help but giggle, she had found she and Discord had things in common like their enjoyment of

cowpony films “Oh, Mr D can I have a shot of Whiskey and a massage?” she said playing along, as Discord appeared next to her and placed his paw on her tail “Oh you better do more”

Discord then shoved his claw into Luna’s marehood “How’s that?”

“It’s ahhhh” Luna moaned as she turned and kissed Discord.

Celestia groaned, her sister had lightened up since she and Discord had been spending more time together but she thought this hardly the time for such fun “Enough, Discord read this!” she said in a huff as she magically passed the note to Discord.

Discord took the scroll and read it “This isn’t possible?!” he croaked out, he clearly looked shaken “Luna controls dreams, nightmares of such power shouldn’t be possible but Twilight wouldn’t have lied about such things”

Celestia nodded “I know but you are the one who warned us about the elements of disunity’s return. Maybe their plan has changed?” she asked her voice shaking “Maybe by targeting laughter and trying to break her resolve”

Discord’s room changed to a plain white room with little detail to it “It’ll depend on what the nightmare entailed” Discord said his voice still shaking “If it were any other bearer then maybe the fear I feel wouldn’t be as great” he put his head on his paw “But it was Pinkie, it takes a lot to scare that pony, so whatever the nightmare showed clearly is beyond horror and despair”

Luna coughed “What if she saw part of the enemy’s plans?”

Discord dropped his head “Ouch! That is a possibility” he said as he picked up his head “If that were the case surely there would be at least a small sigh of it?”

Celestia thought back to her work from over the past fortnight “I’ll go to Ponyvile and talk with Pinkie myself”

Discord shook his head “That isn’t a good idea, if the enemy gets wind that Pinkie knows something, they might do something worse but if I head to Fluttershys’ and you send a message to Twilight asking her and Pinkie to meet me there” he paused “I can try to use my power to calm Pinkie and maybe get more details”

Luna nodded “Discord’s plan will probably work better” her voice then took on a darker tone “Also the enemy might take the opportunity to attack you”

Celestia had to agree “Alright, Discord we trust you but be careful” she said as she took out some scroll and writing equipment from a drawer that Discord had made appear “I’ll send word to Twilight”

“Come on Twilight, you have eat something” Spike said poking his oldest friend in the side with a plate. She had had just sat there since they had got back from Pinkie’s place, she seemed unable or unwilling to move “It might make you feel better?”

As Twilight sat at the kitchen table she pushed a small pile of parchment about, she still had tears leaking down her face “Spike, please I don’t want to”

Spike placed the plate on the counter “Well maybe, you should get more sleep and then you’ll feel better” he weakly suggested “Oh, we got some new books from Cloadsdale, maybe you should read one” he didn’t like seeing Twilight like this, she was the closest thing to his mother that he had ever had and it was upsetting him “Twilight! P..P..lease talk to me, I l…oo…ove you and I can’t stand to see you like this” he cried, tears streaming down his face.

Twilight turned her head towards him and she then embraced him in a hug “Spike! Oh no, I’m so sorry” she cried.

Spike hugged his friend “P..P...Please do..n’t shut me out!” he cried.

Twilight smiled down “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have been so selfish”

Spike smiled “I’m worried about Pinkie as well but you don’t have to worry about her alone, that’s what friends are for and your like my m…sister!” he managed.

Twilight hugged him “Well, look who’s opening up to his softer side?”

Spike suddenly looked cross “Yeah, right Twi, I’m a dragon and…that’s..just..silly” he said trying to hide a blush “I think…I hear…the kettle”

Twilight giggled “Oh you’re such a dragon”

Spike snorted “Yeah, I’m…BURP!” he let out a burp and some green flames with a scroll within the flames “It’s a message from the princess…here” he sighed, for about a fortnight every time a scroll had appeared Twilight had snatched it and read it before writing a reply herself.

This time however Twilight said “What does it say?”

Spike unfurled the scroll and read aloud “Twilight my fellow princess. Pinkie’s dream is a troubling sign of an oncoming threat. I have therefore decided to send a friend to meet you and Pinkie at the house of Fluttershy. Meet them there this afternoon and they’ll decide what further action should be taken. Yours Princess Celestia”

As the afternoon approached Twilight dashed outside the castle and “OOF!” she ran right into a passing stallion “Opps, I’m so… Bravesteel! What are you doing here?”

“I live here” the irritable Pegasus said. Unlike other ponies Bravesteel was one of the few that was very blunt with Twilight “I was just walking past, when you ran into me and knocked me over! What the hell lady? Can’t you run with your eyes open?”

Twilight couldn’t help but notice how cross the stallion was and what she noticed more was the unusual cutie mark he had but since they had met that had been something she had been curious about. She remembered back when Bravesteel had first arrived in Ponyvile, he was generally one of the most unpleasant ponies, she had ever met but not because he was horrible, he was just a pony who didn’t like company and he may have had the excuse as one of two known survivors, of what had been come to be known as the Hopetown massacre. He had been away for a year and a half since working with Shining Armour as a guard but now she could only assume he was here on leave.

He coughed “SO, Princess where are you going in such a rush?” he asked clearly not interested as he picked up his stuff.

Twilight was taken aback “Um, I’m going to Pinkie Pie’s place, she had a...”

“Nightmare, I heard from Mr Cake, they’re worried sick but I wouldn’t know why” he interrupted as he stared Twilight dead in the eyes “She’ll be fine, I have nightmares every night”

“WHAT?!” Twilight asked stunned “But Luna should be protecting your dreams”

Bravesteel sighed “I’ve learned just to live with it”

Twilight suddenly had a thought “You need to come with me”

Bravesteel snorted “You could at least buy me a drink first. I’ve got business to attend to elsewhere, I’ve heard some fillies have been picking on, Applebliss and I’m going over to kick their teeth in”

Twilight frowned “You can’t do that. They’re fillies they don’t know any better” she said trying to appeal to Bravesteel’s logical side “Please I can help you”

Bravesteel turned away “You think, I want your help?”

“Please, let me help you?” Twilight said again as he began to walk away, he seemed to have more scars up and down his coat since she had last seen him “If you come, I’ll call off your debt to Discord!”

Suddenly laughter escaped Bravesteel but it was cold, unsympathetic laughter “You’re a fool. How any foolish mare like you became a princess will be beyond me until the day I die” he said with a frown now clearly on his face as he turned his head “I don’t want your or any other pony’s help!”

Twilight stared helplessly as Bravesteel walked away “You haven’t forgiven yourself yet, have you?” she mumbled.

Bravesteel stopped and turned “S..S…hut up!” he screamed as tears began to pour from his eyes “I..”

He suddenly sat down as Twilight walked towards him and wrapped a hoof around him “Come on, Shining Armour said you’ve been doing well and your clearly a dedicated stallion” she reassured him “Let me help”

Bravesteel continued to cry “O..Okay” he sniffed.

As they walked along the street, Twilight looked at the stallion next to her and couldn’t help but admire how determined he seemed. He seemed so self-reliant but let he seemed conflicted “So, do you have any friends here?”

“No”

“Do you have a mare friend?”

“No”

“Do you have any interests?”

“I wasn’t aware this was an interview!” he snapped, he was back to be Mr Personality “Now if you don’t mind let’s get this over with”

“Sorry” they were silent until they got to Sugar cube corner “Here we are…Are you okay?” she noticed, Bravesteel was looking over his shoulder with a frown on his face and was reaching into his saddle bag.

“We’re being followed” he said with a distrusting look over towards a trash can as he pulled out a short sword but Twilight looked around there was no pony on the street “Get inside”

Twilight decided she didn’t want to argue “Be careful” as she walked into the shop, she noticed Mr Cake was by the window watching Bravesteel “What do you think?”

“I think he’s…Oh no!” Mr Cake saying rearing up “It’s a monster!”

Twilight looked out the window and saw a tall shadow creature, who as of this moment was overshadowing the Pegasus who had attached the sword to his right wing “Who are you?!” screamed Bravesteel. Twilight thought it strange he had only attached a single sword.

“Ohohoh, a fool wants to fight me. Why should it matter to the dammed?” the shadow mocked as it began to approach “I think, I’ll drive you insane before I kill you”

It may have been a trick of the light but Twilight was convinced she saw Bravesteel smiling “Too late for that. I’m already insane” he mocked back.

The shadow swayed “You have nerve, I’ll give you that but I wonder if I can tap into my vice that lies dormant within you?” it seemed to pondering “Give me the Princess and I’ll spare you”

Bravesteel frowned “I may be bucking asshole but I’m no traitor!” he yelled.

“Ha, give up you pathetic fool!” the shadow said not realizing just how stupid what it had said was.

Bravesteel lugged forward “For HOPETOWN!” he yelled

His action took the creature by surprise and his hoofs made contact and pushed the being onto the ground “How dare you?!” the shadow screamed “I’ll be back and when I do, I’ll buck the shit out of your princesses!” it then disappeared in a puff of smoke. Bravesteel looked around clearly wanting to continue the fight and finding he could no longer see the creature, put the sword away and walked into the shop.

As he entered the shop he growled “Celestia damn it!” he reared onto his hind legs and slammed his hooves into the floor “He got away!” his hooves left a hole.

It was then that Twilight noticed the concerned look on his face “What is it?”

Bravesteel turned his head “Nothing”

Mr Cake turned to him “If it were nothing you wouldn’t be frowning. Now answer the question!” he told Bravesteel with an assertive look “I’m not asking, I’m telling”

Bravesteel walked up to Mr Cake and stared him dead in the eye “I will not” he said simply “I don’t take orders from a baker!”

“But you do take orders from my brother. Now please share what you know” Twilight thought she saw fear in Bravesteel’s eyes but on closer inspection couldn’t see it.

Bravesteel took a deep breath “I have seen a similar creature in the Crystal empire, when Sunnybreeze was…” he shuddered “Killed”

Mr Cake frowned “Who was Sunnybreeze?” he asked

“She was one of the cook ponies. I was on guard duty two months ago, earlier that evening I had been chatting to Sunnybreeze, she was one of kindest mares I knew and she was my only friend” tears were beginning to form in his eyes “I was patrolling near a store room when, I heard the scream and I ran towards it….”

Twilight got the impression what he had seen was painful “Please keep going”

Bravesteel shuttered again “I..I..I came around the corner, then I saw it the creature was standing over the dying form of Sunnybreeze but it disappeared. I took Sunnybreeze to the hospital but she died a few hours later” he explained “The injuries were beyond hope”

Twilight was horrified “Why haven’t I heard anything about this?”

Bravesteel growled “Very few know about it, Shining Armour and I are the only ones other than the doctor who knew anything about it” he took out a small bit of Parchment but Twilight knew it on sight “An honourable discharge”

“But why?” asked Twilight “Shining Armour said you were improving”

“Yeah, well after Sunnybreeze’s death, I was patrolling near the borders of the Griffon Kingdom and my comrade set off an aerial trap” he explained further “There was about five of us and I saved two others but our second in command was killed. I damaged my wing in the explosion and it will take a long time to heal” as he said this he pointed to his left wing which was heavily bandaged.

Mr Cake said “Wait I do remember reading about that in Equestria Daily. You were given the Commander Hurricane medal of valour!” as he said this Bravesteel pulled out a single medal in the shape of a Pegasus with its wings outstretched and threw it on the floor “Wait what are you doing?”

Bravesteel frowned “Keep it, I got a medal; big deal that doesn’t bring back the two ponies that died does it?”

Twilight was stunned “You saved two others”

“Yeah and” he growled

Mr Cake retrieved the medal from the floor “And what? You saved lives that’s what matters”

Bravesteel took the medal and frowned “It doesn’t help with my nightmares” and he dropped the medal into his saddle bag “Every night it’s the same, I’m in Hopetown and I can’t save my family. I try to run to save them but then I see Sunnybreeze in a pool of blood and I freeze unable to move as the shadow creature laughs at me”

Pinkie Pie suddenly appeared next to him with her eyes big, red and puffy. Her expression was downright depressing “You’re suffering, please smile and I can throw you a party” she said but with none of her usual excitement, her voice sad and defeated “I don’t want to see a sad pony, who never smiles”

Bravesteel looked at Pinkie with a very confused expression but then a small natural smile appeared on his lips “Okay but you have to smile too” he said and then he hugged her “You remind me of my other sister, she was always smiling and cheerful”

Twilight was stunned, suddenly they were both laughing and Bravesteel’s laugh was nice. Pinkie pulled out a cake and gave it to him “Here, enjoy be happy” she said as he took a bite and chewed happily.

“Oh, Pinkie” he said dangerously

“yeah…” she started but was met with an almighty splat! Bravesteel had grabbed a nearby cake and splatted it into her face. Far from being unhappy, Pinkie laughed “Oh it’s on!”

What followed was unequalled chaos, with Pinkie and Bravesteel grabbing whatever foodstuffs they could and throw at the other but Twilight was defiantly getting the worst of it. After a few minutes of furious pie, cake and whatever else throwing, Pinkie and Bravesteel were left panting with a pie in each hoof and ready to get the other.

“Surrender, Pinkie, I have beaten you and that’s that” Bravesteel said chocking out a laugh.

“Yeah, right I got you at least hundred more times than you got me” Pinkie said panting with a grin.

“That doesn’t make any sense” Bravesteel laughed back.

Twilight groaned “Enough, you each got one another but Pinkie, I think I saw Bravesteel get you twice more than you did. Now if…” SPLAT! Both Bravesteel and Pinkie had thrown the pies at Twilight, all four hit her and left her covered in pie “That’s it!”

Using her magic she levitated the mess all over Pinkie and Bravesteel, who both rolled about the floor laughing and despite the mess they both never looked better

After they had finished cleaning up, Bravesteel was sitting at the main counter chatting with Pinkie as Twilight approached “…so I placed a water balloon in her bed and…” Bravesteel was telling Pinkie, then he noticed Twilight “Oh, Princess, I’m sorry didn’t you want to talk with Pinkie?”

Twilight couldn’t help but notice the massive grin on his face “It’s quite alright, you two seem to be getting on but what happened?” she said with a confused smile “You were both so depressed before you were in the same room”

Pinkie and Bravesteel looked at each other “I don’t know, one second I felt terribly sad, then I saw Bravesteel and I wanted to see him smile” Pinkie said with returned enthusiasm “When he laughed, I dunno, I felt better and

then that food fight!” she giggled.

“It was like; I was reborn and better than ever!” Bravesteel explained with a smile “Thanks Twilight and Pinks”

Pinkie Pie smiled, reaching forward and grabbing his hoof “You ever feel grumpy wumpy again, you come back here and I’ll be happy to introduce you to defeat”

Bravesteel then smiled back “Oh really” he said as his tail swished “Cause last time I checked I won”

Twilight sighed, as she placed a hoof between them “We still have to go meet, Celestia’s friend and we are already late. Bravesteel, will you come with us, please?”

Bravesteel face went to a more sombre look “Ok but what’s wrong?” noticing the unpleasant expression on Twilight’s face “I’ll help if I can”

Discord’s patience was being strained to the limit as he sat with Fluttershy, who had served up some tea and cakes. “Argh, where are they? They can’t be this late!” Discord fumed as he took a sip from his cup.

Fluttershy mumbled “Maybe they’re just outside” as she took another sip of her tea.

“I’m sorry, Flutters, but waiting here is not my idea of fun and Twilight has never been late!” Discord said trying to sound more levelled headed “I wonder if Pinkie is worse than…”

“OHOH, do you know Rainbow Dash!?” asked a hyper active female voice from outside, that was clearly Pinkie Pie

Another more sombre voice male voice said “Yes, but have you met Shining Armour?”

“hehe, of course, have you met Princess Celestia?” asked the female voice.

“Ah, you got me there, I haven’t met her. I guess you win” said the male voice

“Enough! You’ve each named about fifty different ponies!” said a third female voice as a knock came on the door. Fluttershy walked over to the door as Discord wondered who the male pony could be “Sorry Fluttershy”

Discord turned his head and dropped his cup “Oh, it’s quite alright, Twilight. It’s nice to see you, Bravesteel and Pinkie Pie” Fluttershy said as she led the new comers in “Bravesteel this is Discord”

Bravesteel however was staring daggers at Discord “Yeah, we’ve met” he said unable to keep the disgust from his voice “Sorry Twilight, I can’t stay” as he turned to leave but Fluttershy blocked his path.

“S..So..orrry but Celestia has said no pony is to leave, till Discord has got the information” she said meekly, looking up at the tall stallion “Please!” she then squeaked.

Bravesteel eyes softened “Alright, but if he turns me pink again, I’m so gone” he said with a curt nod to Discord “Hey!” his vision had gone pink.

“What! You didn’t say anything about you seeing pink?” Discord joked but Bravesteel clearly didn’t find it funny as he turned. Discord calmly snapped his claw and Bravesteel’s vision returned to normal “There Happy?” to which Bravesteel nodded.

“Alright, enough you two. Let’s get started” Twilight interrupted.

I really hate writing dark things, but it it's done. I know writing Pinki pie as depressed was a dark decision but I wanted to try and portray my vilians as evil as possible. Bravesteel was a tough choice but it was either him or creating an OC character from scratch. If you want to know his backstory, well check My Endless Darkness. Chapter 4 Take a Step into Light and Darkness

“So that’s what happened? What do you think?” Twilight asked Discord as Pinkie finished telling the group about her nightmare “It can’t have been real?”

Discord sadly shook his head “Sadly, I think Pinkie’s dream was very real and that shows the danger is worse than we could have fathomed” he said as he took a sip from his cup “Bravesteel, you said you’ve encountered these creatures before?”

Bravesteel scowled “Yeah”

There was then a knock on the door “Ah, our other guests have arrived” Discord said as Fluttershy went to get the door.

“Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash welcome. Come in!” Fluttershy said meekly as she stood to one side to let the three new comers in “Make yourselves at home”

“Hey there, Fluttershy” Applejack said as she spotted Discord, her face turned to anger “So your Celestia’s friend?”

Discord looked at the orange pony and said “Sadly no other pony had time for this so let’s get on with this” as he took out a pen and started checking off names “Now let’s take register. Let’s see Rainbow Dash, check. Pinkie Pie, check. Twilight Sparkle, Check…”

Rainbow Dash walked past him and stared straight at Bravesteel “Who’s this guy?”

Discord paused “Oh that’s our seat filler” he joked

“Discord! That’s mean!” Fluttershy quietly snapped “It’s Bravesteel, don’t you remember him Rainbow?”

Rainbow smirked “Oh yeah, I remember” she said as a thought struck her “Hey, what are you doing here anyway?”

Bravesteel growled “Waiting for you to get out of my face!” as he stared crossly into her face “Twilight asked me to come with her to this meeting”

“Oh really!” Rarity exclaimed looking excitedly at the stallion “Well Twilight, it’s fabulous to see you get yourself out there”

“WHAT!?” spat Bravesteel.

Twilight sighed “Not like that Rarity, Bravesteel’s here because he has seen the threat we face” she said “Bravesteel might even be the best qualified to help fight them”

Applejack raised her hoof “So, Bravesteel what did you see? If you don’t mind me asking” she looked straight at the stallion.

Bravesteel retold the story he had at Sugarcube corner, when he finished Discord sighed “There might be worse news on the horizon. These enemies can embrace the form of evil from throughout creation” he said as he used his powers to change the room into a room full of pictures that showed evil looking faces “These are some of the forms they have taken in the past, that I have seen”

Twilight started to shake “So you mean that the enemy could take on appearances of the most evil creatures?” she said as she stared at Bravesteel who shook his head sadly “What?”

“It could be worse than that” Bravesteel said with lament heavy on his voice “These foes have powers beyond our worst nightmares”

Rainbow Dash sat down in a chair “This can’t get much worse, can it?”

Pinkie pie then said “They are after the six of us” remembering her nightmare “They are the worst meanies ever!”

Bravesteel snarled “We need a plan to fight them! I want to help, if you’ll have me?” turning towards Twilight “You six have risked your lives for Equestria once too often and I’m tired of watching”

Twilight smiled but said “I’m sorry but we can’t accept your help, it’s too dangerous and you could get hurt” looking into Bravesteel’s eyes and noticed the fire within them “We do appreciate the offer though and it’s touching to see your dedication to Equestria”

“Hang on Twilight” Rainbow Dash said smirking “What if we do need more help? I mean maybe not from such a slow pony”

“I beg your pardon?” Bravesteel cut in “I’m not slow”

“Prove it, how about a race?” Rainbow Dash joked back “Unless you don’t have the guts?”

“Fine, I’ll race you and when I win, I get to help this group beat the vices” Bravesteel said not thinking.

“And if you lose?” asked Discord

“Princess Twilight can decide my fate” said Bravesteel looking at Twilight “How about we have the race tomorrow afternoon?”

“Hang on, Bravesteel, you’re injured! You won’t be able to fly” said Fluttershy noting Bravesteel’s bandaged wing “You shouldn’t be trying to fly”

Bravesteel groaned “Well we’ll just have to have a race where flying isn’t allowed” staring at Rainbow Dash he was still determined to put the cocky mare in her place “Unless you think you can’t win that way?”

“Oh it’s on” Rainbow Dash huffed “See you tomorrow at Sweet Apple acre”

“Do you think it was fair to challenge him to a race?” Applejack asked Rainbow Dash as they walked towards Sweet Apple acre “I mean he is injured”

Rainbow Dash smirked “Think of it this way, to make sure he can keep up with the rest of us” she joked as Applejack stared at her as she swished her tail across Applejack’s muzzle “Besides I’ve wanted a new challenge for long enough and I’ve raced the best racers in Ponyville”

Applejack snorted “Yeah but did you get a good look at him. He’s not built for racing” she said as she thought about it “There has to be another way”

“If I didn’t know better, I’d say you had a thing for him” Rainbow Dash teased her.

“Oh, for goodness sake, Dash, I just feel it’s a waste of time” Applejack said with irritation filling her words, Rainbow Dash giggled causing Applejack to stop and stare the Pegasus dead in the eyes “You better watch it, Dash or I’ll never make you a cider shot again”

“Oh come on!” fumed Rainbow Dash as she looked away, it was all just meant as a joke for Celestia’s sake “Alright fine”

“Fine. What?” Applejack said as she turned away.

“Fine, Mistress” Rainbow Dash fumed admitting defeat “But I get to say no to the saddle this time okay” she was now blushing worse than ever.

“Okay” Applejack giggled as they both started towards Sweet Apple acre.

Spike was sitting at the kitchen table as he wondered where Twilight was, when a black Stallion entered the room, looking around curiously and stopping in the middle of the room. Spike couldn’t help but stare in confusion, true Twilight welcomed any pony to enter the public areas of the castle but the kitchen that was going some since the kitchen was the furthest room from the public areas.

“Um, I’m sorry, Twilight asked me to come and see you Spike about a room for the night” said Bravesteel in an uncertain tone “How have you been lately?”

“Uh, we’ve met before?” Spike asked trying to remember the stallion and pulling up very little.

“It’s Bravesteel; we met about a year and a half ago” Bravesteel said and then looked sad “I reported the slaughter of my home”

Spike strained his memory and then tried to find a way to cheer him up “HEY! You jumped on me and it took Shining Armour to pull you off” Spike yelled remembering “I had a sore scale for a month”

Bravesteel blushed and smiled “Yeah, sorry about that” supressing a giggle “I hope you’re okay”

“Relax, I’m joking but what are you doing here?” Spike asked laughing but trying to sound serious “Twilight gave you permission to stay here tonight?”

“Yes, I did, Spike, I’m glad you remember Bravesteel” Twilight said as she entered the room “Could you show him to the guest room”

It was in the darkest hours of the morning with the moon shining above Ponyville and as the clouds parted the shape of a large Alicorn descended from the sky. Celestia touched down in front of the castle but this time Twilight was awaiting her, at the front door and had the bedroom ready.

Celestia approached the door “Twilight, it’s good to see you” she said as she walked through the doors and they shut with a quiet click “I….mmmmmmm!” Celestia began before Twilight wrapped her hooves around her and kissed her passionately. After a few moments they parted “Eager are we?”

“You left me for weeks allowing my urges to build and sending me taunting letters. You’re surprised I’m eager to get started?” Twilight fumed as she traced a hoof down Celestia’s front “I’m going to make you pay for leaving me so worked up”

Celestia smiled “I had royal duties to see to and so did you” she said trying to sound reasonable “But if you want I’ll submit to whatever you want?”

Twilight smirked and her horn glowed, it was then some ropes tied themselves around Celestia, biding her legs together but the ropes weren’t too tight and then a bit of tape was placed over her mouth. Celestia horn began to glow to remove the ropes but Twilight placed a ring onto her horn cutting the magic off “Sorry, Celestia but no magic allowed, at least not till I’m done with you” Twilight taunted as she traced a hoof over Celestia’s mouth “You look so sexy in bondage and I can’t wait to taste you”

Celestia struggled against her binds “MMMM!” she moaned into her gag feeling so hot.

Twilight’s horn began to glow and Celestia was lifted off the ground “Now, let’s get my new toy to my room” Twilight said as she smiled wickedly. Equestria had been burning, the screams of ponies, and the smell of blood and then he had seen the body of a blue unicorn mare. Why did all his nightmares need to remind him of that, he had been unable to save his mother?

As he slowly got up from the bed he gazed out the window on the quiet town, the view was amazing in the light of the moon and he had to admit he enjoyed the calm that night seemed to bring. The way the outside seemed to be so still, free of struggle and strife. He admired the way the moonlight danced across the windows of the houses of the town. He then became aware of a powerful presence within the confides of the room he was now occupying.

“Are you enjoying the view?”

Bravesteel laughed “Well, I haven’t seen you in a while. What can I do for the princess of the night?” he said as he turned and looked at the form of Princess Luna “Last time, I saw you was in my last decent dream”

“You have been having nightmares?” Luna questioned with a curious look.

“Princess Twilight works fast” he said as he bowed low “Yes, they’re getting worse”

“What have these nightmares involved?” Luna questioned as she approached the stallion “Have they been about Hopetown?”

Bravesteel weakly nodded “but more than that” he followed up by saying “I have seen images of Equestria burning and ponies dying” he couldn’t stop shaking as the words left him.

“I’ll need to see a sample of your dreams” Luna said looking the stallion dead in the eyes and her horn glowed with magic as the sleepy stallion was put into a deep sleep. Luna stared down at the resting pony and took a deep breath “His dreams maybe the key to understanding Hopetown and its significance to the enemy’s plan”

“Be careful, the state you’re in at the moment could lead to disaster” a voice warned from the darkest corner of the room “Please keep that in mind”

Luna smiled as her horn began the spell that would permit her access to Bravesteel’s dreams “You worry too much, Discord, it doesn’t suit you and I want the funny Discord back” she smirked at the now concerned Dragoncois.

Discord looked on as Luna’s body seized moving, the surest sign she was now deep in Bravesteel’s mind and he frowned standing guard in case the enemy exploited the opportunity to attack them.

Luna awoke in a small room; she recognized as one of the guard’s barrack’s store room at Canterlot, she had checked all the information available on the secretive Pegasus and his past. Aged twenty-five years old, the second child of his family, the only Pegasus ever born in Hopetown for a hundred years and the only solider pony to be recruited from the area in twenty years. To say he was unusual might be an understatement the records on his family had been clear, he was from a family who was descended from Unicorns and yet he was a Pegasus.

As she looked around the room she could see no sign of the pony but a small scraping sound gave away the position of Bravesteel from directly behind her. The pony was sitting on the bench staring at a number he had scored into the bench, 294; he looked up at her and sighed.

“My number first day at the academy, it always surprised me how many couldn’t make the first cut” he explained looking as if he was lost deep in thoughts long lost but had recently been uncovered “I spend years thinking of the day I would join the royal guards of Equestria”

“You are a brave solider and a loyal citizen of Equestria” Luna soothed him trying to sound as comforting as possible “but now is not the time to dwell on memories of time, that has long since passed but we can come back to it”

Bravesteel nodded, standing up, he walked towards the door of the room and he opened the door. Luna could only see darkness on the other side and wondered what could await them but decided Bravesteel was already being unusually open with her and decided the quicker this was over the better, so she didn't ask.

As if reading her mind thou “The area beyond changes every time and every time seems worse than the time before” he said unable to keep the fear from his voice “Ready?”

“Indeed” Luna said resolutely as she took a step forward and they walked through the door together into the uncharted waters of darkness. Waters that might hide the most dangerous creatures Equestria could produce and they were going sailing in a rubber boat with a hole. Their chances were getting darker by the mere moments that passed on by.

Chapter 5- The Impossible...Cheated

“This can’t be real?!” Luna stated in pure horror as she beheld the scene before her. The sight of a town burning around them, the smell of ass, blood and tears filled Luna’s nostrils as she beheld the terror before her. Bravesteel stood next to her clearly this memory was as painful as it looked as he was shaking uncontrollably but they were not alone. There was a grey unicorn crying over the body of a fallen blue unicorn, Luna stared at Bravesteel seeking some kind of explanation but found the black Pegasus with tears in his eyes.

“It’s not fair! Why must this moment haunt my dreams forever more?!” he croaked out, as the tears continued to stream from his eyes. He shook as he looked at the grey pony with anger suddenly overtaking him “And then you left my life!”

The grey unicorn’s body suddenly changed into the shape of a bright yellow crystal earth pony “You failed me as well! Why’d you let me die Braves?” the mare said with a voice that seemed to issue from the deepest graves of Equestria’s history.

“Sunnybreeze!” Bravesteel cried out as the mare spat up blood onto him. He lunged forward trying desperately to get to her. The form of Sunnybreeze faded away before Bravesteel could get to her and after he landed the form of another pony took her place. This was a tall white unicorn stallion with a cutie mark that meant he had been a medical pony “FATHER!”

“I told you, your no son of mine! Death has not changed that!” the stallion sternly told the whimpering Pegasus “Death will always follow you! I told you that the day I disowned you!”

“Enough! Bravesteel, none of this is real, your father loved you. He was the one who send those medical textbooks to you while you were training at the camp near Canterlot!” Luna screamed unable to witness the horrible scene before her any longer “He would have been proud of you for the lives you have saved and the lives you’re going to save”

“He’s right; I’ve let too many ponies die” Bravesteel cried into his hooves “Teammates, friends, family and even the mare I loved”

“Those were things beyond your control! Remember this is a nightmare! None of it is real!” Luna screamed “You have taken the first step to freeing yourself of this darkness”

Suddenly a voice cackled out from behind Luna and as Luna turned she could see one of the shadow creatures taking on a physical form “He’s already lost deep in regrets and mistakes! He’ll never be free!” it said as it took on the form of a dark lion with horrible yellow eyes and one had an ugly wound over the left “And now Princess your mine!”

“Who are you?!” Luna said angrily as she lowered her horn towards the demonic lion.

The lion laughed “I’m known now as greed but before hell consumed me, I was a lion from a far off world but did you know despite what world we may come, we all share the same heaven and hell” he said as he remembered his past “I was send there for murdering my brother and failing to kill my nephew”

Luna looked back at Bravesteel for a second and when she looked back the lion had changed into another creature, Luna knew as a human “what the?!”

“As greed, I’m the combination of the most greedy souls, any world has seen and of those three are dominant” it explained “My lion form was known as Scar, this one was known as, Luther and my final form most powerful and feared”

Luna took pause to consider how best to get Bravesteel ready for a fight because since this was his mind there might be a way “How did you get into Bravesteel’s mind?”

“He attacked me after I killed some crystal pony. I’ve since looked for a way to unlock his vice and I may have found it” Greed said with a cold sheer “Now Bravesteel give into your inner greed, the greed for what is yours, the justice long denied to you, the…oof!” Greed was interrupted by a vicious blow to the face “What are you doing?!”

Bravesteel snarled enraged “You toyed with my mind, you tried to turn me evil and for that you will PAY!” he yelled from his position next to Luna “I ‘am not your puppet!”

Luna smiled “That’s right, it looks like you underestimated the conviction in his heart!” she said full of pride “No pony will ever serve you!”

Greed looked at two through gritted teeth and said “Oh really what if I told you that, your sisters soon will!” his expression taking on a cruel smile “We have already captured one and the other will turn soon!”

Bravesteel’s anger deepened “You liar!!!”

Luna had to wrap the young Pegasus in magic to hold him back “Calm down, we’ll take him together” she said trying to sound reasonable and then she yelled “Prepare to decent back to the bowels that are the endless darkness of hell, Greed”

“Prove it…..RRRROOOAARRR!” Greed yelled before transforming into his lion body and charging.

Bravesteel feeling the release of the magic charged forward and shifted to the left before landing a devastating kick to the head of the lion. Luna meanwhile cast her magic to force the environment to change into a flat green field with no feature upon it. Greed at this moment was slowly rising to his feet but Bravesteel was there and landed a bone crushing sounding kick on Greed’s back legs.

“Well done!” Luna praised as she too charged with her horn lowered and rammed it through Greed’s front leg “How do you like that?”

Greed smirked as four giant red tentacles came up from the ground and captured the two ponies in there embrace “This is a world where I can twist things to suit my own ends!” Greed taunted as the ponies struggled fruitlessly “Now I’ll destroy your minds!”

Bravesteel laughed “This…is…my…dream! And I’m tired of having nightmares, it’s time for my first truly good dream in a long time!” he said as he closed his eyes and focused “I dream of ice cream…everywhere!”

With that the land around them changed, Ice cream of all flavours and types appeared. Luna watched as Greed was buried and the tentacles froze freeing the two ponies as they cracked and dissolved. Bravesteel looked upon his work before smiling, clearly holding back a sizable chuck of pride and amazement at his own intelligence. Luna and Bravesteel floated in mid-air admiring the beauty of Bravesteel’s imagination. There were rivers of chocolate sauce, mountains of mint chop-chip and it was freezing.

“You know, I may have over done it” Bravesteel joked as he shivered in place to which Luna had to nod “Right, I’m thinking a quiet Library with a nice warm cup of cider”

Luna laughed “Where do you think Greed went? He should have come up by now” she said with a look of concern towards the spot Greed had been in “We better check!”

Bravesteel closed his eyes and was clearly focusing “Don’t bother, Princess, he’s gone” he said as he sadly shook his head.

“I’m guessing he left after he realised he couldn’t control you?” Luna asked as the dream dissolved into a blank space “I’m proud of you, you overcame a difficult challenge and buried the ghosts of your past. This is never easy to do”

“You know from any other pony, I’d call them a fool or a liar but I know your story and you have more right than any other to tell me that” he said “But there’s one thing that puzzles me, how’d you know that stuff about my father?”

“Before I enter any pony’s mind, I study their past and your life has proven to be interesting. I also feel you deserve some happiness out of it” Luna said with a kind smile “I want to see you happy”

Bravesteel smiled back “Well what say we wake up?”

When they awoke, Discord was snoozing in the corner and Spike was standing next to them “How’d it go?” he asked clearly concerned.

Bravesteel smiled at the dragon “I won’t fear sleep again” he said as he embraced the dragon in a one leg hug “The princess has freed me of my fear!”

Luna stood and walked to Discord with a smile “You freed yourself, I just pushed you in the right direction and now you can go on living in peace” she said as she shook Discord gently “Now if you don’t mind, I need to go lower the moon and get some proper sleep after that”

“Ooo…Luna what happened, did you save, Pink vision over there?” Discord asked as he got to his hoof and dragon leg.

“Seconds awake and your that annoying. How do you cope with him, Princess?” Bravesteel said dryly.

“Question of the century that one” confirmed Spike.

It was then that the door opened and in walked Twilight looking quite tired but otherwise happy. As she looked around the room and sighed before saying “Bravesteel, did it work?” looking at the Pegasus clearly hopeful for good news “Did Luna help remove your nightmares?”

“Yes, Princess Twilight, I owe you more than I can ever hope to repay and for that reason, please accept my help” Bravesteel said with conviction adding to his words “The vice known as Greed tried to make me his puppet”

Luna smiled “He has shown that he can assist us against the evils of the vices” she said as she walked over to the stallion and directed her attention to him “I want to present you with this” as she spoke she her horn glowed and a new sword appeared.

It was a beautiful weapon, with jewels fused into the handle and a glorious silver finish to the blade. The straps that were designed to attach to the wing of a Pegasus were fine leather that looked as if they had just been made. A new scabbard was floating next to the sword with the words “Valour’s heart” engraved onto it.

“This is the sword called Valour’s heart” Luna explained “It was made for any deemed worthy of its touch. Bravesteel you have shown me and others that you’re worthy. I want you to accompany Twilight and her friends but with one promise”

Bravesteel swallowed “What is it?” he asked uncertain “Must I complete the bet with Rainbow?”

“That but you must also ensure, no matter the cost that they succeed and make it back alive” Discord said with a deadly tone “You understand what that means?”

Bravesteel turned, stared at Twilight and Spike before saying “No cost is too high”

Twilight whispered “No, we can’t risk it”

Hearing Twilight’s words, Bravesteel turned with a grim look upon his face “Without help, you and your friends cannot overcome the coming darkness. I have seen enough to know that the allies, you have at the moment will not be enough and you say you don’t want to risk lives” he said with his voice angering by the moment “You coward, the enemy is willing to take lives and destroy worlds. If you’re not willing to risk the same, you can never win!”

Discord scowled as Twilight looked to him for support “He’s right, Bravesteel’s nightmares weren’t just delusions of the mind, they were a window into the future and that future looks ill now” he said as the room darkened. Suddenly flames erupted from around them “This is what was seen in his nightmares!”

Suddenly a ball of flame formed in front of them and Twilight could see shapes dancing in the flames. As the moments passed she could make out three ponies Sweetiebell, Applebloom and Scootaloo! They were running from something as a horrible echo filled the room with their voices.

“Hurry! We must get out of here it’s already…” Applebloom’s shadow yelled as Twilight tried to drown out the sound of fear she could here from the flames.

“Miss Cheerilee! They got her!” Sweetiebell’s voice followed clearly full of despair “We have to go back!”

“LOOK OUT!...AHHHH!” came a third voice before the shapes disappeared in a horrible sound of screams and panic. The fire disappeared and Twilight was left shaken, what had she just witnessed?

“Discord! Was that necessary?!” Bravesteel snapped clearly just as horrified “I’ve had to live with those nightmares for so long and now I’m rid of them. You show them to ponies?! You’re sick!”

“You lived with these?!” Spike said clearly as scared as Twilight “I’m surprised you didn’t kill yourself!”

“SPIKE!” Twilight snapped

Bravesteel shook his head “I tried but Shining Armour stopped me”

Discord hovered next to Bravesteel “What you went through, no pony should have had to live with but thanks to your dreams we may have the best tool to defeat the Vices!” Discord said as he made another imagine appear “The vices have three forms each, if we defeat all three then that vice will vanish”

Luna sighed “Easier said than done”
Bravesteel shook his head “We may have stopped one of Greed’s forms?” he asked with doubt clearly in his voice.

“Doubtful. As that was just a dream and you don’t wield an element of harmony” Discord said with a sad look to Valour's heart “There is an old prophecy surrounding that sword but I don’t take stock in it”

“There may be some truth in it” a voice said from the door, as every pony’s head turned, Princess Celestia walked in and sighed “Bravesteel, you did well to face your fears and I’m proud of you”

Bravesteel was stunned “Um…yes…your highness!” he said alarmed as he bowed low “I...I…I’m honoured to serve your highness”

Celestia turned to the bowing Stallion “Rise; there’s no need to be so formal” she said as she looked down at the Pegasus “I agree with my sister, you should accompany the elements on this most dangerous of missions but if you made a bet with Rainbow then you should live up to it”

“Yes, your highness” Bravesteel said as he rose from the floor “May I also suggest that a team of other ponies be assigned to protect them?”

Celestia and Luna looked at each other before Celestia said slowly “Which ponies did you have in mind?” she didn’t doubt the Pegasus had a point but she was concerned about including too many ponies “I should state, I’m going to limit you to a team of five”

Bravesteel frowned “That’s fine, may I suggest that the other four be ponies that Twilight and her friends trust?” he said as he looked to Twilight “May I suggest you bring me a candidate each?”

Twilight sighed “If there is no other way” she said sadly.

“Where is he?” Rainbow dash huffed impatiently as she leaned against the barn door of Sweet Apple acre waiting for her entertainment. The sun was shining high above them as they awaited the late Stallion “Did he chicken out?”

“I doubt it, Rainbow” Applejack said with a shake of her head “Braves, doesn’t seem like the type to back down from a challenge”

“You’re not wrong there!” said a male voice from the other side of the barn as Rainbow Dash and Applejack looked around the barn’s side there stood Bravesteel looking confident and Twilight “So, Rainbow, ready to eat humble pie?”

Rainbow Dash smirked, confident, she liked that but this was a race the foolish stallion could never win “There isn’t any humble pie for me but soon there’ll be plenty for you” Rainbow bragged as the two stared each other down “So how about we race each other to Sugar cube corner and back. We also have to bring a cake back to prove we went there”

Bravesteel smiled “Fine but no flying” he said as he began to stretch his legs “Better tie your wings down”

Rainbow groaned “Why does everypony insist on that?” she said with a resented huff as Applejack secured her wings down “Right, Twilight, get us started”

Twilight marked out a starting line, as Rainbow Dash and Bravesteel prepared themselves for action and declared loudly

“Are you both ready?” looking to both racers as they nodded “Right…Ready…steady…GO!”

There was almighty dust storm as both racers pushed off, Rainbow Dash had the better start of the two and now was pulling far ahead. Bravesteel charged forward as fast as he could but he was nowhere near as fast as the energetic mare. Applejack and Twilight saw this and both groaned convinced the race was already over.

As Rainbow Dash hit the outskirts of Ponyville she wasn’t slowing down, her hooves pounded the ground and her heart rate was high. She then took a moment to turn her head and wasn’t surprised that the stallion was nowhere to be seen. She then slowed down, confidence on her side but how quickly confidence turns into arrogance. Bravesteel was out of sight but not out of the competition and he had a trick in his arsenal.

Rainbow Dash finally made it to Sugar cube corner and Pinkie was there to meet her “Hey, Rainbow Dash, how’d the race go?” Pinkie asked

“It’s still going on” Rainbow Dash said coolly as she approached the counter and looked at the cakes on display “Hmmm, Old Braves can’t keep up!”

Pinkie’s face fell as she asked “Don’t you think this isn’t very nice?”

Rainbow Dash was stunned “What?!” she asked “Pinkie, do you have a crush on Bravesteel or something? You heard him; he doesn’t believe we can do it without him”

Pinkie shook her head “He doesn’t want us to do it alone anymore” she said as tears filled her eyes “You haven’t seen what these monsters look like!” Pinkie screamed as she shook “Braves, made me laugh when I thought it was impossible”

Rainbow looked at the door “Well if he doesn’t hurry then I’ll win” she said simply “And then Twilight will decide his fate” with that Rainbow Dash hurried out the door and spotted Bravesteel approach “You stand no chance slowpoke”

Bravesteel snarled with resentment as he passed her and headed into Sugar Cube Corner and approached the counter “One Fruit slice please” he said as he handed over the bits for his purchase “Thank you” as the cake was passed over.

Pinkie smiled “Well done”

“What?”

Back at Sweet Apple acre Applejack and Twilight were chatting with a cup of Cider. They were waiting for Rainbow Dash to secure her victory as they spotted the blue mare appear over the top of the hill and they both released sighs of frustration.
“Well, what price will Bravesteel have to pay?” asked Applejack as she took another sip of cider

Twilight shook her head “I don’t know” as Rainbow Dash drew closer and closer “Maybe I can get him to work here, while you’re gone”

“We offered him that once before and declined” Applejack said as she took another sip “What makes you think he’ll accept”

“Remember the stakes” Twilight said simply as Rainbow Dash stopped in front of them.

“Oh buck yeah!” Rainbow declared as she raised her hoof high in the air.

“Um…Rainbow where’s the cake?!” Applejack asked in alarm

“What...Oh horse feathers!” Rainbow replied in shock as she turned to rush back but noticed Bravesteel coming over the brow of the hill “He won” she weakly stated.

Twilight couldn’t help but smile “Well looks like Bravesteel wins”

A few minutes later Bravesteel was taking a long drink of water and smiled at Rainbow “Well…looks like your cockiness cost you the race?” he said as he stopped drinking “I trust Twilight told you what you’ll have to do now?”

“I have just the mare in mind” Rainbow said as she walked away and as she disappeared into the barn she felt a hoof wrap around her “Please, mistress I’m sorry” as she looked down she saw a white leg? “What the…?!”

“Silence, Bitch” a voice said as ropes began to wrap around Rainbow and tied her to a table “I’m going to buck you!”

The door magically locked itself and Rainbow struggled “Who are you!?” she moaned before a gag was placed over her mouth.

As a hoof wrapped itself around Rainbow, the voice said simply “I’m the pony who’s going become known as Nightmare Lust!” as Rainbow then felt something poke at her marehood “Now I’m going to buck you!”

It was then Rainbow felt something big invade her marehood “MMMMM!” she screamed into her gag.

“Scream all you want. I’ve sound proved this place and by the time your friends get here, I’ll have finished and you’ll be mine!” Nightmare lust said as she continued to ram her cock into Dash “Your nothing but a common slut” as Rainbow felt a hoof caress her wings “These are lovely I wonder if you’d look better without them”

“MMMMMM!” Rainbow screamed as she felt her attacker continue to pump their cock in.

“Oh relax, I was joking and besides I’ll be giving you a lot of cum!” Nightmare lust said as she gave one last thrust and emptied herself deep inside Rainbow “Ah that felt glorious but now to put that mouth of yours to work!”

It was then Rainbow saw her attacker, a tall white Alicorn, with a dirty green and pink mane but what struck Rainbow was she was pure white “MMMCELMM” she moaned before her gag was removed “Who are you!? Why are you doing this?!”

Nightmare Lust sat on the table with Rainbow’s face mere inches from her marehood, where her dick had been mere moments earlier “I’m the embodiment of lust and desire. I’m doing this cause I want to!” as she wrapped a hoof round Rainbow’s head “But that’s beside the point, you better start pleasing me and I might let you go! Oh and if you don't I'll buck you till your mind....breaks” as she uttered the last word she forced Rainbow’s face into her marehood, leaving Rainbow no choice as she began to lick inside the evil pony’s marehood “AAHHH! That’s a good obedient bitch!”

Rainbow felt her attackers marehood begin to clamp down on her tongue “MMM!” she tried to scream as her attacker grabbed her tail in magic and tied it to her mane.

“I intend to tie you outside Sugar cube corner!” Nightmare lust declared as she came “DRINK IT!”

Rainbow was left with little choice as Lust continued to cum and with her mouth buried deep within the evil mare she could feel the liquid trickle down her throat.

After she finished climaxing Lust pulled Rainbow away “Now let’s get you ready for your show!” she said as a gag wrapped itself around Rainbow’s head.

“Rainbow!” Pinkie screamed as she walked out of Sugar Cube Corner. Above the shop Rainbow was tied to the sign of the business with her marehood and ass on full display with vibrators in both of them, her eyes were glazed over as the pleasure overtook her but with all the ponies gathering Pinkie had to think fast “Um…Was that Princess Celestia!?” she screamed pointing to a far off corner of the town.

Once all the ponies were gone Pinkie climbed up onto the roof and untied Rainbow and undid her gag “Soooo good!” Rainbow moaned.

“Oh Dashy, what happened to you?” Pinkie Pie said with tears in her eyes.

Author's Note

It's been a while since I began to write this chapter but for all the mistakes and delays. I liked writing Bravesteel's nightmare scene, it was fun to try to think up a humiliating defeat for Greed and it will be one of the few times I didn't go for some silly magic weapon to win. The Rainbow Dash race scene was hell to write. Overall I'm fairly happy with how this turned out. Please remember to comment, especially if you didn't like it tell me why.
