Equestria: Infinite
And So It All Begins..
Load Full StoryTwilight Sparkle had no idea where she was going, nor what she was doing. Two ponies, one mare and one stallion were canoeing her somewhere.
"Ugh, I really need to file my hooves more often! They're starting to look horrible!" The mare muttered. The stallion rolled his eyes.
"Wow! That's all you have to say?!" The stallion snapped. "Start canoeing more, and stop whining about your hooves!" Twilight stayed silent as the mare and stallion argued. She was getting more and more bored as time passed. Suddenly, the mare had took out a briefcase, and handed it to her.
"Here, you might need this," she finally smiled. "It has all you need in it." Twilight stared at the briefcase for a moment before opening it. Twilight stared at the contents inside. Twilight levitated a gun up and glanced at it, before putting it back where it was. She noticed a picture of her and her family also in it. She wondered how it got in the case.
"Um.. What's a gun doing in here?" Twilight heard herself ask. The stallion glanced over at her.
"I have no idea, but you might need it in the future," he told her. Twilight started thinking about why she would need a gun, but after a minute or so, she stared at the water flowing beside them. It was a pretty dark blue color. It reminded her of her family and friends. Twilight didn't know why. Rarity had gone missing a while ago, and Twilight missed her a lot. Thats when Twilight noticed a weird note in the briefcase. It read, 'Bring us the girl, and wipe away the debt.' Twilight started getting freaked out. What was this debt, and who was this girl? Twilight has no idea. Twilight was lost in her thoughts, when suddenly, the mare said something.
"We're here! You can get out now!" The mare said. "Just be careful around here.." Twilight looked up, and shut the briefcase with her magic, and levitating it into her large saddlebag. Twilight thanked them, and watched as they canoed away, arguing with each other again. Twilight walked slowly, looking up into the sky. The rain didn't help, and she was super tired. The rain poured down on Twilights mane, soaking it completely. Twilight noticed the lighthouse, and climbed the stairs up to the door. It was slightly open a crack, so she called and asked if any pony was home. There was still a silence.
Twilight opened the door with her magic, and stepped inside. There, she saw the most horrifying sight ever. A pony who was tied to a chair was bleeding with a bag over its head. It wasn't moving, and laid there limp like a doll. The sight wanted to make Twilight vomit. But then, she noticed the words above the pony that was written in blood.
"We know who you are, Twilight Sparkle," Twilight read. "T-they were expecting me..?" Twilight wanted to just go home. She didn't even know why she was here. She wanted to be back with her friends and family, and back with Rarity. Twilight walked quietly up more flights of stairs and finally came to a chair type thing. But there was a lock that secured the door from getting to the chair. It had three bells. Twilight saw a note earlier that had the same patterns as the bells, so she read it and did the passcode. Suddenly, the door became unlocked, and started making noises that sounded like whales, or some type of boat. Twilight didn't know what she was doing, but she suddenly sat in the chair. Her instincts told her to for some reason.
Suddenly her back and front hooves were locked by medal chains. She tried struggling, but she couldn't move. Twilight gasped and tried yanking her hooves out. It was no use. She was stuck. Suddenly she heard a voice on some type of intercom.
"Blast off in.. 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.." The robot voice said. "And 1.." Suddenly, Twilight could feel herself blasting into the air. It was some type of shuttle, but she could see everything. She was practically flying! Twilight tried not to get air sick, as the shuttle continued flying. It moved past a few buildings. She noticed how beautiful the city was. There were skylines, ponies walking freely, and a bunch of other things. Suddenly she was launched into a random church. The chains unhooked her hooves, and she climbed off the chair, stepping into some sort of water. Twilight looked to see a stallion standing next to a photo of Celestia.
"Welcome," the stallion smiled. "Welcome to the church." Twilight was confused. She heard of a church before, but what was she doing in one? Twilight looked down at her hooves for a minute, but when she looked up, the stallion was gone. Twilight stared at the painting more. Celestia wore a pretty dress, and she was smiling as usual. Twilight hadn't talked to Celestia in a few months. She had no idea why. Celestia had disappeared like Rarity and Luna had. But still, the princesses rose the moon and sun as usual. Twilight continued walking until she noticed a room that had a statue and photo of Luna in the room. On the statue it read, "The Beautiful Princess Of The Moon" on it.
Twilight continued walking. This church had something that was off about it. Twilight just couldn't out her hoof on it. Twilight wondered what would happen after she found a way out of this church. Twilight wandered around a bit, looking at some frames of the princesses. Twilight noticed some more church ponies standing at a flight of stairs. They all greeted her with warm smiles. Creepy smiles. It was like everypony was watching every move she made. Like they were watching to see if she would make one wrong move. Maybe this was just her imagination. All lies. Twilight wanted this to be just a dream. That sight she saw at the lighthouse. Everything could just be nothing. Rarity and the two princesses disappearing, everything.
Maybe she never existed, and her friends never did too. Twilight had no idea. Twilight continued walking though. She trotted quickly down the stairs, trying not to make eye contact with the ponies. She saw those seats you sit down in. And she saw some type of priest making a speech up front. He was surrounded by other ponies, who were paying super close attention to him. Twilight closed her eyes, and pinched her other hoof really hard. She opened her eyes and expected to find herself in her bed, but she was still there.
