Trenderhoof is always a civilized pony. He tries his hardest in life to never make mistakes. So you can see why he's angry at himself when he's supposed to go to an art contest in Manehatten but ends up in a part of Equestria that he's never been to before.
But everything seems to be fine. He finds a pony named Daring Do who will let him stay at her home until he can find a way to get to the contest. As time passes they become better friends but they know that he'll have to go soon. When a chance to go to the contest the worst appears.
