Chapters Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
He ran. Bullets flying over his head. He took to cover. "Irish! Need cover fire!" Who was Irish? the words slipped from his mouth. He had a assault rifle in his hands. A Scar-H. How did he know that? "Irish!"
"I Hear 'ya Recker!" Someone else was next to him, holding a Type-88 LMG. "Suppressing!" The guy who he thought to be Irish fired at the MG nest. Recker grabbed the RPG-7 and fired at it as well. It hit the MG nest with a loud explosion. The MG fire stopped
"Positive effect on target!" He vaulted over the cover and ran to the building in front of him. He didn't have any control over his body as he ran. He was taking heavy fire, and a bullet pierced his leg. "FUCK!" He hit the ground and got back up and continue to run. His leg burned as he ran through the door of the building. BAM! He got hit in the nose with the hilt of a knife. A second later he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. "GAHH!" Some one went to reach for his tags, but was stopped short with a bullet to the face.
"RECKER!" He fell back, griping the knife in his gut. Irish bent down next to him. "Come on Recker stay with me!" His whole body began to burn. Irish felt his hand fall through Recker- wait... fall through? Irish looked down, his hands where in Reckers chest.
His vision faded to white as he heard a beep over and over again.

Beep.
Beep.
Recker gasped as he awoke from his dream. He looked around. He was in a hospital. He went to stand up but the pain in his stomach and leg stopped him. "Gahh!" The knife was gone, replaced by stiches. "At least could they have given me a full sized bed instead of a kids one?" The bed was way to small for him. "Hey doc?" He shouts. "What's with the kids bed?"
He heard gasps and talking outside of the door.
"It can talk?"
"What is it?"
"Get a vet over here now. He should know what it is."
Thing? Vet? "Hey fuck heads! I'm a person too 'ya know!" He was pissed off that they where treating him like that.
More voices.
"What's a 'Fuck head?' "
"Your guess is a good as mine Red."
Red? Who's Red? The door opened "Its about fucking time 'ya showed u-" His mouth hung open at what he saw. A pony? Why the hell was it dressed like a doctor? "I'm fucking dreaming. What the hell? Where in hell am I?" He rested his head on his pillow and closed his eyes.
"You are in a hospital."
He opened his eyes again. He looked around. "W-who said that? stop fucking around man!" The ponies mouth opened and it talked.
"I did of course. Who else would have?"
He looked at it in disbelief. How is it talking?
"You are lucky Fluttershy got you here when she did. You almost died."
"Flutter who now?" What is going on?
"Fluttershy? You can come in."
A yellow pony walks I- whoa wait. What? Yellow? And a pink mane? And does she have wings!? He looks in awe at her. "W-what is that?" He points to her. She looked hurt when he said 'that'. "I-is that a- a Pegasus?" 'Well Greek mythology.' "Listen Where am I?"
"In Ponyvile, in Equestria." His eyes grew wide.
"Fuck me."

"Recker I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen. I thought I'd get a animal from where you are from, but instead I got you." Recker couldn't believe what Twilight was telling him. She was the reason he was here, why he couldn't remember a thing. He wanted to strangle her, but he resisted.
'What if she didn't do that...' He thought. 'Would I still be alive?' In a way, Twilight saved him. Recker sighed. "Its ok Twilight, I forgive you." She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
'He...forgives me?' "But I took you away from your life. How could you forgive me?" He looked at her.
"Because if you didn't do that, the rest of my life wouldn't happen, I would be in a wooden box under the ground." Now she felt somewhat good about her self. She saved his life! "So... you ponies want to show me around Ponyvile?"
For the next two months, Recker was taught how to talk like the other ponies, like replacing 'anybody' with 'anypony' and stuff like that. He still had trouble with it, though he would quickly catch himself and correct it. He also was given his own house one month after being with Fluttershy. He quickly became friends with the six ponies, and the other ponies in Ponyvile became less afraid of him and started to talk to him. He no longer felt like a stranger. Rarity made him clothes to wear other than his ghostex wear. He now had normal clothing. He couldn't thank Rarity enough. She had gone out of her way to make him clothing. "Honestly darling, its not that big of a deal." She said.
"No it is Rarity. You took time off of your work time to make me something. I honestly can thank you enough."
In order to pay for his house he needed a job, The Cakes said they would be more than happy to give him a job at the bakery. Again, he couldn't thank somepony enough for helping him. "Thank you so much. I wont let you down I promise." And he kept his promise. He was good at his job as well. They offered to pay him more because he had been working so hard, but her turned the offer down. "No I couldn't accept that. You guys- err ponies, have been so nice to me, but I cant accept it. I thank you for the offer, but I wont take it." They kept insisting that he took it. He didn't want to get in a argument about it, so he took it, and "accidently" dropped the extra amount into the cash register.
His job at the bakery meant he got to spend more time with Pinkie. Soon, he didn't see Pinkie as a pain, He saw her as a nice pony who is always happy. She was very kind to him. "So Recker," Pinkie said. "I was wondering if after this would you like to do something together." He looked up, well... down to her. She only came up to his waist. Either he is small, or these ponies are big.
"Well, what do you have in mind Pinkie?" Knowing her, it could be anything.
"Maybe see a movie, have some fun on the town. I can't decide!" She seemed really happy today, more than her normal 'Pinkie happy'.
"Seeing a movie sounds fun." He always did wonder what they where like. He never remembered seeing a movie due to his amnesia when he was accidently brought here.
"Yay! A movie! This is going to be fun!" she bounced up and down.
All he could think is 'I have a date...with a pony.'

I have a date...with a pony
'I have a date with a pony...I have a date with a PONY! ' He couldn't believe this. 'Calm down Reck, its just as friends. I doubt Pinkie would want to go as anything else.' He couldn't keep his mind off it. 'What if she wants to see a romantic movie? what if all the ponies in the theater kiss? what if...she kisses ME! ' He didn't want that to happen. he finally calmed down. 'And what if a space ship lands...' He jokes. 'If it is a romantic movie, I will just tell her that I'm not the romantic guy.' But he didn't even know if that was true. What if he finds out when they watch it that he is? What if...he kisses her? 'Come on Reck, give it a rest. That's not going to happen.'
His and Pinkies shift ended at six thirty. They walk out, Pinkie bouncing up and down next to him. "This is going to be so much fun Reckie!" That's a new one. Before she only called him Recker or Reck, Now she's calling him Reckie? The thought of her kissing him crawled back into his head.
"Yeah..." That's all he could say now. He was speechless. when they arrived at the theater, they agreed on a romantic action adventure. 'I hope its more action adventure that romantic.' He thought.
The movie wasn't too bad. Don't get it wrong, it had its downs, but there where more ups. Overall, the movie was okay. "That was a good movie don't you think Reckie?" He looked down at her.
"Yeah, it was okay." He jumped a little as she nuzzled her head into his side.
"And it was even better with you."
'RED FLAG! RED FLAG! GET OUT RECK! ' "Yeah?" 'Fucking idiot Reck! Get out!'
"Yeah~" He didn't like the way she said it like that.
'Stop being a fucking idiot Reck or you will be fucking one the first date like an idiot!' "Ummm Pinkie?" she nuzzles deeper into his side.
"Yeah~?" That tone again.
"We are here." He points to Sugar Cube Corner. She looks disappointed, and it made him feel uncomfortable. 'She is always happy, why isn't she now?' She sighs.
'But I don't want to go in, I want to be with Reckie...' A though pops into her head. 'I will invite him to spend the night!' "Reckie?" She sounds happy again.
"Yeah?" She looks up to him.
"Can you spend the night?"
'Red. Fucking. Flag.' "Pinkie, we are to old for sleepovers." She looked at him.
"Oh pleeeeeeaaaasssseee?" He didn't want to upset her.
"But what about the Cakes? I doubt they would want me over night ." She looked at him.
"Oh they wont mind, they like you!" Well...
'Recker, last fucking time. Say NO!' "Shure, why not. " 'You are a fucking idiot. ' She bounced up and down.
"Yay!" She opened the door with her hoof...somehow. He went up to her room with her.
'Nothing is gona happen. Its just sleeping. Nothing else.'
She made a make shift bed out of pilows and blanket. They smelled like sugar. 'I wonder why.' The talke for a little, trying to be quiet. "Well Pinkie, Im gonna sleep now. Goodnight." She lays down on her bed.
"Night Reckie~"
He closed his eyes, and was greated by a dream.

"Reck. Wait up." Another human dressed in similar ghostex clothing, Irish was behind him, along with some one else.
"Shure thing Dunn." Dunn turned to the other one.
"Pac, still got the intell?" Pac held up a electronic.
"Yeah." "Dunn lets get going, extraction is on the roof." Recker steped into the elevator like thing followed by the others. He pressed the button and they went up. Irish turns to Pac
"Wait 'till you see the view."
"Oh I expect to be blown away." The sound of helicopter blades moved in front of them.
"SHIT! GET DOWN!" The helo fires its two mounted. 50 cals, they fall one floor short.
"Mouther fuckers gona bring this building appart!" Irish said. The wreck the chopper caused broght them to the roof.
"THERE IT IS!" Dunn points to their extraction helo. "MOVE!" Recker ran to it, he saw it last second.
"SHIT!" A RPG nailed the helo, causing it to explode.
"THE BIULDINGS COMMING DOWN!" Pac screamed.
"SHHHIIIIITTTTT!" Reck and Dunn scream at the same time. The biulding starts to collapse. He falls through the floor to the one below him. He slides to the edge and graps it last second. He is hanging over the edge with one hand.
"SHHHIIIIITTTTT. " Dunn falls off the edge, Recker graps his arm and stops him from falling. The peice of cement he was holding breaks away and he falls with Dunn, and every thing goes black.
"Pac keep digging up Dunn."
"I can't hes buried!"
"Keep trying , I'm over here digging up Recker. " Irish moves a big peice of cement off his chest. He grabs Irishes hand and he pulls him up.
"Thank Irish." A civi car pulles up.
"Son of a fuck... hey you can't be here, its not safe."Irish gets up to get the civi away.
"R-recker." Dunn calls him "I-i kneed your knife." Reck kneels down next to Dunn. "A trapped wolf would chew off its own let to survive." He knew what Dunn wanted to do. "COME ON! The bones powder, its just flesh and uniform keeping it attached." Recker putts the knife under Dunns leg, and pulls up as hard as he can.
"GAHHHHHHH!" Dunn pased out.
"Come on Recker, I got the civi to give us his car." Irish said as he helps to pick up Dunn. Reck got in the car as Dunn started to wake up.
"This is Tombstone 1 requesting secondary extraction. " Irish said into his COM.
"F-fuck my leg...my wifes gonna kill me!" The helo returns.
"Shit! Reck, you think you can lose it?"
"Not fucking likely!" The helo went in front of the car and launched a missile, blowing the car door open and makeing him loose control "OH FUCK NOOOOOO!" Recks top half fell out of the car, Irish was holding his lower half.
"BURN THOSE MOTHER FUCKERS!" He handed Reck a M320 HE Reck took aim and fired, direct impact. The helo crashed in frount of them and Reck veered off course.
"SHIIIIIITTTT!" He drove off the road, and into the water and everything went black.
He woke up to 'Turn around.' He could hear Dunn. "Oh man, I dont want to die to this song!" Irish shook Recker.
"Recker! You ok? Come on man stay in the game." Dunn was stuck in the seat. There was a loud crack as a window started cracking.
"Shit, Reck, take my gun, it's yours now." Dunn handed him his M412 REX.
"Dunn what are you doing?!"
"A traped wolf would chew off his own leg to survive. Shoot out the window Reck." Irish looks at him.
"Don't fucking to it Recker!" Dunn stops Irish.
"Do it Recker...THATS AN ORDER! "
"DON'T DO IT!" Reckerz habd shaked as he raised the gun to the front window, and pulled the trigger.
Recker awoke with a gasp.

My train ride takes an awkward turn
Recker was awoken by Pinkie. "Come on Reckie! Get up! You need to get ready for your examination!" He groaned
"Ugggggg! Pinkie five mor-"
"You don't have any more time! you slept in!" He shot up. He looked over to the clock. 9:00.
"Fuck!" The train departs at 9:05. He got up and ran down stairs. He was still in his ghostex wear, he wouldn't have time to change. He might all ready miss the train. Pinkie ran behind him. Pinkie convinced Twilight to let her tag along, and the rest of ponies wanted to come as well. "Shit. Shit. Shit!" He REALLY needed to watch the cussing around them. Luckily, SCC isn't to far away from the train station. He just made it.
"It's about time! Where were you two."
"Sorry, Slept in." They entered the train. There wasn't enough room in the first train car, so he and Pinkie took the car with all their stuff. Surprisingly, it was crowded.
"Damn does Rarity really need all this stuff? We are only going to be in Canterlot for a day or two."
"She's like that."
"I can see..." He felt somewhat uncomfortable being with Pinkie alone after last night.
"Reckie?"
"Yeah Pinkie?"
"Do you like hanging out with me?" He looked over to her, taking his eyes off of the huge mountain of the trunks, that right, trunks of clothing.
"Yeah. I really like spending time with you." She got excited.
'He likes to spent time with me!' He smiled. She kind of looked beautiful in a way.
'I wonder if sh- STOP RIGHT FUCKING NOW RECKER YOU SICK BASTERED! Don't even think about that!' Well they had to. How else would they reproduce? She looked at him. She didn't know why, but he looked oddly attractive. The thought of her lips on his entered her mind. But what if he didn't want to? What would happen then? Would he still want to be her friend? Well, it's worth a shot. She placed both her front legs around his neck.
'What is she doing? Is she- OH NO!' He was speechless. She laid down on her back pulling him down with her. He was laying awkwardly on top of her. She wrapped her hind legs around his waist. 'Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.'

"Pinkie? Recker? You two in there?" It was Dash. Pinkie opened her mouth to say something, but Recker quickly put a hand over her mouth.
"What are you doing? Do you honestly want her to see us like this?" He whispered. He removed his hand.
'Now' She thought. She closed her eyes and pulled him into her and kissed him.
"MMMPH?" 'Fuck. Me.' He wanted to push her away, but her grip was strong. His mind was made up when she shoved her tongue in his mouth. He kissed back. He closed his eyes and used his tongue to play with hers. 'I could get used to this.' He thought. She oddly tasted like sugar, probably from all the sugary sweets she eats. He pulled back, a strand of saliva hung from his mouth, connecting to his. He smiled and they both giggled. That's when he heard it.
BANG!
He looked at the window, and saw Dash. 'Whelp. We're fucked.' Her eyes widened as she saw them. She slowly flew back and flew away. "Shit..."
"What is it Reckie?"
"I think Dash might know..." She flew back into the window.
"You guys arnt going to believe this!" Twilight looked up from her book.
"You weren't spying on them where you?"
"That's besides the point. I saw Reck and Pinkie kissing!"
"What?" They all looked at Dash.
"That's not all! It looked like... ummmm... That he..."
"Spit it out Dash!" Rarity said.
"He was over Pinkie and He looked like he was about to...ummm... heh."
"WHAT?!" They all screamed. Pinkie and Reck heard it from the car they where in.
"Yep, she defiantly saw."

I get chewed out...by a pony
"I can't believe you would do that Recker!" Twilight screamed at him.
"Actually, that's not at all wa-"
"Save it Recker!" Reck hung his head. "You can have sex in a public area!"
'Say that a little louder why don't ya?' He sighed. Rainbow Dash caught him and Pinkie kissing. She must have gotten a bad angle, because she added that he was about to...have sex with her. He would never do that. He is human and she is a pony. Then again, he said he would never kiss a pony, and now look what happened.
"I'm sorry Twilight. But I wasn't going to do that, I swear! Dash must have gotten a bad angle." Twilight sighed.
"Save it Recker! I think you and Pinkie need to be separated for the rest of the ride to Canterlot." Both he and Pinkie where disappointed by that. They both let out a saddend sigh.
"What ever." Recker stood up and walked to the other train car. The one without Rainbow. He really wanted to punch her. How could she do that? When ever he tells he a secret, She tells everypony else.
He sighed. He looked around, there wasn't too many ponies in the car with him. 'Good, I could use the alone time.' He sighed again. He looked over and saw a filly, from his knowledge, She looked to be about 14 or 15. He rested back in his seat and closed his eyes. I took a big breath in and out of his nose. He put his hands into his pocket. He felt something cold. He took it out of his pocket. Another dog tag. He read the the three letters on it

"USA?" A picture of a 16 striped flag with 50, and yes he counted, stars in the top left corner was to the left of the words. He undid his tag necklace and strung the new one into it and put it back on.
"What are you?" He looks over to the filly.
"I'm a human."
"What was that you put around your neck Mr.Human?" He slimed a little.
"My name is Recker. And it was a dog tag, and no, before you ask, I'm not part dog. It's just what they are called." She giggled a little.
"Ok Mr. Recker." Reck played around with his tags. He looked at the one that had his name. He could just barely make out what it said.

Was that his name? Daniel Recker? His head began to pound. He grabbed his head. "Gahhh!" His head felt like it was about to split open.
"Mr. Recker are you okay?" Image after image popped into his head. The places he was in. Baku where Dunn died, Shanghai, South China Sea, Singapore, Kunlun Mountains where he was interrogated and imprisoned, Tashgar, and Suez where he stopped Chang by sacrificing Hannah. "Mr. Recker!?" Reck collapsed onto the ground and blacked out. When he awoke, he was surrounded by the six ponies. "Recker! Recker speak to me!" He gasped and shot up, breathing heavily.
"Recker! Thank Celestia you are ok." He looked at them.
"My name is Daniel Recker, and I'm a US marine. "

I run from wooden K9 units
As soon as they got back from Canterlot, he immediately went to Mrs. and Mr. Cake and told them what happened, how he got his memory back and that he needed the day off from work. "Also...ummmm... me and Pinkie are...together. Like, as in a couple sort of way." Only Mrs. Cake was excited about the news. He got his day off. He kissed Pinkie good bye and took to the forest. After searching around the area he woke up in, he decided to look deeper into the forest. He almost missed them. Hannahs dog tags. He held them up. Even though she betrayed them at Singapore, she did it to save him and Irish. And ahe also gave her life for the USS Valkyrie. And for that, she deserved respect. He put her tag necklace around his neck along with his own and made his way deeper into the forest.
He found somthing that blew his mind. He found the REX Dunn gave him as the new leader of Tombstone before he died. Rest in peach Dunn. He found the Scar-H with 126 bullets in reserve, and his bayonet combat knife. He also found three M67 grenades. "Jackpot!" With more searching his mind was blown again. "HOLY SHIT!" It was the RPG-7V2 He used to blow the MG nest up. It was 3 more rockets, including the one it had loaded. He put it on his back and geared up. Thats when her heard it.
It sounded like a growling. "Hello? Anypony there?" That was stupid, ponies dont make that noise. Then it came out of the bushes. A wolf. A wooden wolf. Timberwolves as the ponies called them. "Shit." Another one appeared, then another and another. After he heard the fifth one emerge he hauld ass out of there. "Shit. Shit. SHIT! SHIT! SHHHHHHIIIIITTTTTT!" He could hear them behind him. They where gaining, fast. His adrenaline pushed him to go faster. The song he always got stuck in his head to get his adrenaline pumping entered his head. 'Warsaw' thats what it was called. It helped on the battlefield, why not here? He kept running, they wolves where gaining slower than the first where, but still gaining. How deep did he go into the woods? He felt like he was running from the K9 units all over again. The wooden K9 where gaining. "FUCK!" They where right the fuck up on him. One tackled him.
He quickly rolled over on to his stomach and grabed its snoutto prevent it from biteing him. One had griped its lower jaw, and the other had the other one. "GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" He attempted to snap its neck. He quckly jerked its head to the side.
SNAP!
He pushed it of and got back on his feet and kept running. There it is! The edge of the forest. "FUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKK!" He ran out of the forest and didn't stop . They must have been really pised he did that to their friend because the kept chasing him. "FFFFUUUUCCCCKKKK MEEEEEEE!" He was nearing town and they where still chasing me. "HEY! HELP ME! TIMBERWOLVES!" Good thing he unloaded the RPG because he was tackled and he heard the click of a trigger. He couldn't grab the snout it in time. He grabed its neck and held back. He rolled on top of it to get an advantage. He punched it in the face and he heard it whimper. Then another tackled him from behind. He rolled on his stomach just in time to see it jump on him. It bit he shoulder and he let out a scream of pain. "GAAAHHHH!"
Twilights head shot up.
"Was that Recker?" She looked over to Dash.
"Sounded like him. Lets check it out." The six ponies ran to where their was. They heard the scream and saw 4 timberwolves surrounding him.
"GET THE FUCK OFF ME YOU WOODEN FUCKS!" They watched on horror and onother one bit his right arm. "FUCK! GAHHH!" Twilight ran back to Ponyvile.
"QUICKLY! EVERYPONY! RECKER IS BEING ATTACKED BY TIMBERWOLVES OUT SIDE OF TOWN!"
Rainbow Dash bucked one in the face and Applejack another. Unfortunately she bucked the on that just sank its teath into his right arm. He heard the tearing of flesh and it was kicked away "FUCK!" The two ponies tried there best to keep the wolves away from Reck. Pinkie pulled him away from them. He was loosing blood, and fast. Some stallions ran in behind him and and helped fight the wolves off. Reckers vision blurred. His could hear his heart beat slow down.

He saw a pink shape over him. It looked like it was screaming at him. He fluttered his eyes and they closed, and he blacked out.

When he awoke, he was back in the hospital. He saw all his stuff in a corner of the room. 'Hopefully they didn't touch it.' He felt something on his left arm. He turned to look, it was Pinkie. She was resting her head on his left arm sleeping. The same doctor pony was before walked into the room.
"Pinkie, visiting hours are o- oh good evening Recker. Nice to see you up again." He looked over to the doctor.
"Did you guys touch any of my stuff?"
"No we didn't Recker."
"Good." Pinkie started to wake up.
"No...I'm not leaving untill Reckie gets u-" She lifts her head and sees that Recker is awake. "RECKIE!" She threw her frount legs around him
"Gahh!" She pulled back.
"Sorry." He smiled.
"Its ok. But listen to the doctor, go home and sleep ok? You look like you haven't in days." She looked sadly at him.
"But its only been three days." His eyes widened.
"Are you serious? You have been up for three days without any sleep waiting for me to wake up?" She looked up at him.
"Yeah. I was scared whn they said you might not wake up." She started to tear up.
"No Pinkie don't cry. It's okay." He put his left arm around her and hugged her. "I'm awake now. I'm fine. But you need to get some sleep. Okay Pinkie?" She stopped crying.
"O-okay Reckie." She walked out of the door. Before the doctor could do the same, he stoped him.
"Hey doc, when can I leave?"
"Tomorrow, your wounds have healed enough." Recker let out a sigh of relief. "You need some sleep Recker. Good night."
"You to doc."Recker rested his head on his pillow, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
When he awoke he was permitted to leave the hospital. When he walked out the door. He had all his stuff again and he made his way to his house. He made room and hung stuff on the walls, his RPG he didn't load, that could end horribly if if fell and discharged, instead, he had one of the rockets below it. His Scar-H with a empty clip, same reason as the RPG. His REX he got from Dunn. And Wolf tooth. Wolf tooth was what he called his bayonet. After Dunns remark of "A traped wolf would chew off its own leg to survive." It was the knife he used to cut off Dunns leg. Underneath it he would have Rarity mabye make something with that quote under it. He also put the M67 grenades on a table in a case.
He heard a knock at the door. He opened it and was immediately tacked to the ground and kissed and hugged
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE OKAY!"
"I told you I would Pinkie." He stood up as the other five ponies walked in. Twilight followed in last.
"Good to see you up again Reck. When the stallions pushed to timberwolves back into the forest, they found these." A picture and more tags floated infront of his face, srounded by a purple glow. He grabbed them and his heart stopped. Dunns tags. And the picture was the original members of Tombstone, Recker, Pac, Irish, And Dunn. He smiled Pac was making a choking gesture to Recker and he was prenting to choke him back. They both had stupid looks on their faces. Dunn was looking straight at the Cmera trying not to laugh at the two idiots and Irish was looking at them laughing.
"Thanks Twilight." He set them down on the table.
"Whats all that?" She made her way over to the wall with all that stuff.
"Oh yeah. About that, Rarity, could you mabye make somthing that says, 'a trapped wolf would chew off its own leg to survive', then underneath it have it say Dunn, like a quote?" She looked over to him
"Shure thing darling. " She said that word too much. He sighed as he looked at the wall, he put Dunns tags on his necklace.
'Another for the collection.' He smiled as he remembered all the times, good and bad, that Tombstone had.
Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
He was on the train on his way to the Crystal Empire. He was to meet Princess Cadence and Shining Armor today. Twilight wrote a letter to her brother telling him about Recker. He said that he and Cadence both just had to meet him. He was somewhat nervous, all he could think was what if they didn't like him? He held onto the picture of the original members of Tombstone. That stupid face Pac and Reck where makeing made him smile every time. And the fact that Dunn was smiling made his smile even wider. Dunn almost never smiled, let alone laugh. He remembered after the picture was taken, Dunn started laughing
"You guys are dumb asses." He said while laughing. When Dunn laughed, you knew it was good.
"That's what we are Dunn." He put his arm around Pac.
"We are dumb asses." That made him laugh more.
"Recker?" He looked up at Twilight.
"Yeah?"
"Who is that a picture of?" He pointed to each one that he named.
"That is Pac, that is Irish, and that was Dunn." Twilight looked at him confused.
"Was?" Recker looked down.
"He died in Baku. The sea look him." Twilight instantly regretted asking that.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know."
"Its okay. You didn't know." He put the picture away and pulled the REX out. It wasn't loaded, the bullets he had in a separate pocket. You never know when you might need it. He also had Wolf tooth. He carried that with him too. Again, you never know. He was told to wear his ghostex clothes for this occasion. Made him look more like a soldier.
"You nervous? " Twilight asked.
"Yeah a little."
"Its okay, my brother is really cool, he isn't anything to be nervous about. Him or his wife." He felt somewhat better after being told that from somepony who knew them. The train stoped, they had arived. They got out and walked to the castle. The ponies gave him a look, and he gave them one back. He had never seen anything like it. Crystal ponies? Now this was new territory. They walked into the castle and to a Thorn room. There where two ponies sitting down on them. The stallion look at them and he looked excited.
"Twilly!" Shining Armor he guessed.
"Shining!" Yep. They ran into each other and hugged. He then looked over to Recker.
"I'm guessing thats this Recker human?" He walked over to him
"Daniel Recker, Sergeant E-5 in the US military. You can call me Recker or Reck, what ever floats your boat."
"Nice to meet you Re-" His eyes made contact with the REX. "Whats that?" Recker pulled it out. "What this? This is ato meet you Re-" His eyes made contact with the REX. "Whats that?" Recker pulled it out.
"What this? This is a M412 REX. A pistol given to me as I became Tombstones new squad leader. It was given to me by Dunn, before he died in Baku." He put it back in its holster. He looked over to the mare. "You musht be princess Cadence."
"Yes and you must be Recker." They talked for a little while. "Well Recker you seem like a nic-" She was interrupted but somepony shouting.
"Brosiv granaty!" Recker knew what that meant. Russians. But how? A grenade was thrown into the room
"GRENADE! GET DOWN!"
BOOM!
The grenade exploded. "GRAB COVER! ANYTHING TO PROTECT YOURSELF!" They didn't ask twice. Recker took cover behind a Pillar and loaded his REX. They entered through the door. They shot at them. Recker exposed himself just enough to shoot one of them. 12 3 4 5 6. 4 of the six made a new home in the Russians heads. He heard the other ponies screaming in fear. Recker took this as a chance. He rad to the door and picked up a AK-12 and some spare mags. "Whats happening?!" The princess sounded scared. "Russians. But how? Come on, we need to get out of here." He ran down the stairs and out of the castle with the ponies close behind him. A Russian ran I him with a knife. Recker quickly grabbed his arm and countered the attack, shoving his own blade into his stomach. Recker grabbed the Russians tags and pushed him to the ground. He saw a helo above "FUCK RUSSIAN HE- wait." It wasn't Russian. It started unloading troops, US troops.
Two of them caught Recks eye. "Pac? Irish?" They looked over to him.
"RECK?!" They ran over to them He hugged Irish. "Haha it's good to see you Reck! Man I thought you where dead!" He hugged Pac.
"Recker! How 'ya doing buddie?" The ponies just looked at them.
"I can't believe you guys are here!" Twilight was brave enough to speak up.
"Ummm about that, how did you get here?" Pac and Irish just looked at awe in the unicorn.
"Is that...? And did it just...?" Recker looked over at his Squad members.
"Don't worry, you get used to it." He did wonder how they got here. "Yeah how did you guys get here?" They looked at Reck.
"By helo."
"Well I know that, but how?" They looked at him confused.
"By flying?" He didn't know what to think.
"Listen, I need to get to ponyvile. And before you ask, its a long story, I'll tell you on they way there, but we need some helos to get there." They didn't ask any more questions. Irish tossed him a COM. Recker spoke into it "This is Tombstone Actual, requesting a ride, about 35 Clicks south of our position. Need two helos." The voice on the other end responded.
"Recker? Its good to hear 'ya again man! He have helos on the way right now."
Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
Recker explained every thing to Pac and Irish about how he got to equestria and what happened. He made shure to leave out certain parts. When he was done, they where in ponyvile. They got to his house and he got all his stuff.
"Well what now? What about the Russians?" Pac said. Twilight awnsered his question.
"We need to see princess Celestia. She will know whats going on." They made their way to Canterlot. When they got there, they immediately went to the princess. Celestia was really worried.
"That must mean the border we put between us is no longer working. All humans and ponies can now cross it." Irish look at the princess.
"Listen, we don't want anything to do with this place. All we want to know is why the Russians would want to attack you ponies. We sent a squad out to gather intel. They should be back soon."
"Thats not what I am worried about, its you humans. You are the reason we put the boder up. Humans and ponies where at war a long time ago, and we came to peace only to split the land evenly. Then I put up the borders to protect us from any human that wished to harm us." Irish was growing impatient like always.
"Look I already told ya! We just want to know why the Russians would want to harm you."
The squad returned and the humans and someponies helped to look at it. What they found...was devastating to humans and ponies. Two gaurds along with the squad members ran into the Thorne room.
"Tombstone we found what happened!" The squad members steped up.
"The Russians want to reclaim the land, but we will fight to make shure that doesn't happen."
The guard steps up. "Princess. This is really bad." She looked worried.
"What is it?" The guard gulped.
"The changelings are working with the Russians. "

Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
He awoke with a gasp. His whole body hurt. Where was he? Why is he- he looked down at his gut and saw the hilt of a knife imbedded in it. 'What the fuck!?' He was wearing ghostex like combat clothing. 'Shitshitshitshit. come on-' it hit him hard, what WAS his name? Why was he stabbed? Why was he left out here to die? Question after question entered his head. He felt something cold around his neck. He held it up to his face. It was a dog tag with a name on it.
Recker. That's all he could make out. Was that his name? Was it his first or last? Well guess that's his name until he can remember his original one...or until he bleeds out. He grabs the knife to pull it out, then stops. 'I'll bleed out faster if I do, and I might cause more damage.' He attempts to get to his feet. He holds himself up be leaning against a tree. He can see something near the edge of the forest. 'Is that...?' It must be. A small house.
Gripping the knife handle, he makes his way over to it. He has a limp. He looks down to see a bullet hole in his left leg. "Fucking perfect." He limped over to the little cottage like home. He went to open the door. Locked. "Even better!" He knocked on the small door. ...no response. "Fuck me." He needed to stop cussing so much, but he figured that there is a time and a place for it, and that was defiantly now. "What now?" He could feel himself growing weaker, his vision became disoriented. He could barely stand up now.
The door opened. He couldn't make out what he saw. All He heard was a screak as he feel back, and blacked out.
Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
"Well, I have officially gone crazy." Was this a joke? Ponyvile? He must be going crazy. His stomach rumbled. "Hey do you have any food?"
The stallion doctor looks at him. "what do you eat?"
"Any thing that's a food. God I would love so meat right now."
The stallion's eyes widened. "M-Meat?"
He face palmed. Of course! They are ponies, they don't eat meat. "Sorry, I guess I will have to settle with other stuff." 'This is going to be hell.' Then again, what did meat taste like? He knew he ate it, but he couldn't recall the taste. "How long do I have to be in this hospital?"
"About a week."
"Perfect." That week was spent being bored half to death, eating hospital food, and talking to Fluttershy. She was really kind to him. She said she has friends who would be interested to meet him.
She smiled. "Oh I can't wait to show you to them... I-if that's ok with you..." He smiled. She was so nice and she didn't want to hurt anyone.
"Yeah I'd love to meet them, I only have one problem..."
She looked worried. "A-and w-what is that?" Oh no! He didn't want to see them! She was forcing him to! 'Fluttershy how could you' she thought to herself. He looked at her.
"I don't have a place to stay."
'Oh thank Celestia!' This was her time to get to know him. "y-you could stay at my place until you find somewhere." He smiled.
"That's really kind of you Fluttershy. Thanks."
Finally came the day where he could leave. He put the dog tags around his neck. They where the only thing that helped him remember what his name was, maybe they could help him remember who he was. Fluttershy introduced him to her friends Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Apple Jack, and Pinkie Pie. They all seemed interested in him, especially Twilight.
"So...How did you get here?" Recker shrugged.
"I don't know. I can remember anything. The only thing I do know is my name, and I wouldn't even know that if it wasn't for this." He holds up the dog tags. "They are dog tags. And I do-"
"You are part dog?" Pinkie looks at him.
"No Pinkie, its just what they are called." He chuckled. He could tell she was going to be a pain, but she always looked on the bright side of things and always smiled. She made him feel somewhat happy about being stuck here. "Well...I had this dream..." He started. "I was running..." Twilight got out a note pad and a pencil. She began to write everything Recker said. He began to tell her about the dream he had about Irish and him almost dyeing. When he told her about the white light, her ears shot up and her eyes widened. "What is it Twilight?" He asked. She looked at him.
"Recker...I think I know how you got here." He felt happy.
"Well...tell me." She looked at him.
"I was practicing a spell that would bring animals here from far away places..." He knew what would come next. What she said next echoed inside his head.
"Recker...I think my spell got you... I'm the reason you are here."
Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
Recker looked around. 'Oh yeah that's right, I'm at Pinkies.' He got up, carefull not to wake her. He made his was down the stairs and into the kitchen. He poured himself a glass of water. 'What was that?' He couldn't stop thinking about the dream he had.
"Hello?" Recker jumped a little. It was Mrs. Cake. "Recker?"
"Oh h-hey Mrs. Cake."
"What are you doing here?" Recker was scared, what was he going to say? "Well...ummm...Pinkie kinda invited me over. You arnt mad are you?" She smiled.
"No Recker, I'm not. What are you doing up so late?"
"I could ask you the same thing. I didn't wake you did I?" She smiled. She was happy that he was over, she didn't know why though. He was so nice as well.
"No you didn't, I just came down to get some water. And why are you up?" He got her a glass.
"Same...kinda. I had another dream..." He told her about his dream. When he was finnished she had a thought.
"What if the dreams you where having, are memories comming back?"
He never thought of that. They very could be his memories. If that was true, then he would be in the military. But he couldn't be. He couldn't kill anyone. "No that's impossible, I can't kill anyone, or anypony. It's not that I choose not to, I just can't. " Recker took a sip from his glass. But what if it was his memories.
"If you say so." He looks at her
"Thanks for not flipping out that I'm spending the night without your permission." She smiles.
"No problem Recker. I like having you over." He smiled. Everypony was so nice to him.
"I'm glad you feel that way. You are always so nice to me, along with everypony else." She smiled again.
"I'm glad you find me nice, that was really sweet of you."
"Well, I should probably get some more sleep. I need to be rested up for tomorrow. Im heading to Canterlot for some examination tomorrow. The scientists want to understand me better." He stands up.
"Ok Reck, goodnight."
Recker made his was up the stairs, laid back down on his pillow/blanket bed, and went back to sleep.
Battlefield: Equestria (Part 1)
He told them every thing he saw. Everything he he did. Who he was, WHAT he was. When he was done, all they could do was look at him "I'm telling the truth. I remember everything." He held up his dog tags and kissed them. They had helped him once again. Mrs. Cakes theory was correct, his deams where memories. He couldn't believe he was actually a marine, and a bad ass one too!
"I can't believe you remembered all that from your dog tags." Reck had an idea.
"Hey! What if I have more stuff in the Everfree Forest!? Mabye I could get it and it could help me remember more, if there is anymore." Twilight looked at him.
"Thats a good idea Daniel, but after your examination." The train stoped. They had arrived. They left the station and went to a hotel to book some rooms. Two ponies and one pony and a human for every room. Raindow and Apple jack, Rarity and Fluttershy, and Pinkie and Reck. Twilight had a room in the castle, lucky. Even after he found out Recker was his last name, he still preferred they call him Recker.
Just him and Twilight went to the place for his examination. It was a full body, which ment no clothes. Twilight happily stepped out for that part. When he was done he put his clothes back on and he was told he could leave. "What? No lollipop?" He got a chuckle out of the mare scientist, but the stallion didn't think he was funny.
"You may leave Recker." He steped out side.
"They wanted me to give you this." He hands her back her note book. "They wrote down everything they did in theirs into yours." He went to his hotel on the way, he bumped into Rainbow Dash.
"I expect you won't be watching me sleep from my window?" She blushed.
"Heh heh. Sorry about that. I wanted to know what you two where doing." He looked at her.
"It's ok, and we wern't going to have...'ya know..."
"Sorry, I just assumed."
"It's ok. Good night Rainbow."
"Good night Recker."
He made his way to his room. When he got there, Pinkie was getting ready for bed. She got in the bed and he did as well. Everypony else got two beds and they had to share one. He wasn't complaining though, he got to sleep next to Pinkie. He kissed her good night, and went to sleep.
