Love Is The Most Beautiful Thing

One of the most elegant of all the castles in all of Equestria, was the Crystal Empire, where an orange Pegasus pony, with a  blue short mane and tail, is the captain of the guard, all suited in an armor of pure gold.

Flash Sentry, looked up at the sky, as the sun began to set, and the moon made its way up, under the command of Princess Luna, as she began to make the stars.

I wonder if she knows how much I love her he thought to himself, as he went inside the castle.

His mind was set on the most beautiful alicorn princess of all, who had recently defeated the Dazzlings in the human world, shortly after she defeated Teyrik, when she had opened the chest with all of the six keys her friends had gathered, and as a reward, she had her own castle, to replace the library she had lost.

He thought of her deeply, her purple coat, her dark purple mane and tail, with a light purple and a dark pink streak, and her beautiful violet eyes.

Twilight Sparkle was a lovely sight for him to see.

Twilight had fallen in love with an identical human Flash, when she had entered into the human world a few years before.

She and Flash started dating each other, after her return from her most recent visit to the human world, when the Dazzlings tried to take over Canterlot High, with brainwashed teenagers, that they controlled with their singing.

Oh Twilight, I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me, but I can't find the words to say.

He went into his bed chamber, took off his armor, and his helmet, went to his bed, and fell fast asleep.

The next morning, he went to Ponyville, on the morning train, made of crystal, with a small ring box in his saddlebag, but no ring.

He thought that since that he and Twilight had been dating for the past two months, it was finally time to ask her to marry him.

She will be so happy to know how much I care, Flash thought, as he looked out the window, with loving eyes.

Twilight went up to the train station, impenitently pacing on the floor when she got there. "I hope he's okay", she said wearing a worried expression on her face.

The train whistle blew, and the wheels made a terrible screeching on the tracks when the train started to stop.

Out from the crowd, stood Flash. Twilight galloped up to hug him tightly. "Oh it's so good to see you Flash."

Flash hugged the princess back.

"It's so good to see you too, Twilight."

The princess, and the brave knight, walked out of the station, and into the town square.

She would make the perfect protector of this town.  Flash thought to himself, as he and Twilight walked into her castle.

Flash examined the beautiful new home of the purple princess, as she started to cry. "What's wrong Twilight?" Flash asked, as he galloped up to hug her, stroking her mane.

"It's just that, this isn't like the library Flash", Twilight said, hugging the Pegasus back, tears streaming down her face.

"I know it's hard loosing something or someone you love, but I just want to let you know Twilight, that love is more powerful." Twilight used her hoof to wipe away her tears. She smiled at the knight of the Crystal Empire, hugging him, gently.

I think it's finally time to make her my wife. Flash thought, as he smiled back at the princess.

He went to the jewelry store, looking for the perfect engagement ring.

After several tries, he found a sapphire ring, that shined like the full moon, with little rubies on the circle, that glowed like fire.

"This is the one." He bought it, and headed back to the castle.

Before he could, however, Twilight flew up to him, with a worried expression on her face.

"Flash, you must come with me", she said, panting. She levitated a letter from Princess Celestia. Flash read it aloud.

"Twilight, you must come with Flash to the Crystal Empire at once. A dragon named Fire Stone has been terrorizing the good ponies. But I must warn you, he's the most powerful dragon of all that not even I can defeat him alone. You two have the power to defeat him together. Princess Celestia."

By the time he was finished, Twilight had tears streaming down her face.

"We must go at once Twilight."

Flash and Twilight took the train to the Crystal Empire, or at least, what they feared what was left of it.

The train stopped at the station, and the two ponies rushed right out.

The Empire looked a whole lot different from what it used to be.

The sky, was covered in black smoke, the homes, have been demolished, or burned to the ground, the only thing that was still standing was the Crystal Castle, that Princess Cadence makes her home, which has protected by a blue force field.

"The dragon is still on the loose", Twilight said, looking at the once beautiful city now being destroyed.

"I agree, Twilight, he must be around here somewhere." Giant foot stomps, shook the Empire, as a giant shadow blocked the sky. The thing that made the shadow, was dragon with scales as red as a fire ruby, spikes as big as boulders, and eyes, like two glowing embers.

"Who dares enter the Empire?" asked the dragon, as his voice shook the empire like an earthquake.

"I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of friendship!" "

And I am Flash Sentry, Captain of the Crystal Empire!"

"This is what the faith of Equestria has to offer?" Fire Stone laughed, as he shook the empire once more. "You two are a couple of wimpy ponies."

"We may be small, but we've got the most powerful thing you'll never understand", Twilight said, as her horn began too glow, and Flash pulled out his sword.

The ponies, and the dragon, charged after each other. Twilight magic was the first one to hit, but it wasn't strong enough to defeat the dragon.

Flash's sword crumbled into dust as he hit the dragon's back.

The dragon struck the princess, as she tried to fight back.

She tried to hit the dragon with her magic, again, and again, but was no use.

Every time she tried to fight, the dragon struck her.

Until finally, the dragon struck the final blow.

Shocked, and furious, Flash flew around in circles, confusing the dragon, and threw rocks at the dragon when he was caught off his guard. When the final rock was struck, the dragon, turned into ashes, and the wind blew them away.

The smoke in the sky cleared, and all of the crystal ponies, came out of the shadows. They cheered at the one who saved them all.

But their cheers were short lived.

Flash, looked at his beloved princess, who was lifeless on the ground.

He hugged her in his forelegs, and started to sob into her coat.

"Oh, Twilight, if only I could hear your voice again, I'd asked you to marry me."

At that moment, The sun shined down at the princess, as golden sparkles began to surround her.

A blast of golden light burned in the sky, as it began to lower the princess.

She opened her eyes, and got up. Flash galloped up to hug her tightly.

"I thought I'd lost you Twilight." Twilight hugged him back.

"I just want you to know, love is more powerful, then death, Flash."

Flash chuckled, remembering what he told Twilight about love.

"Well in that case, why  don't we both share our love with each other, for the rest of our lives?" he asked, as he pulled out a ring box from his saddle bag, going down on one foreleg.

"Princess Twilight Sparkle, will you marry me?" Twilight eyes weld up with tears.

"Yes Flash, I will marry you." Flash placed the ring on Twilight left fore hoof, and kissed her.

All of the ponies cheered, to hear that soon, they will be husband and wife.
