With the ETA controlling the Friendship Express, there is in fact another transit system in Equestria. The MTA, known as the Manehatten Transit Authority, has a subway system that runs under the streets of Manehatten. The president of the MTA, George O'Brien, plans to build a new branch of the system into Ponyville. The town of Ponyville has never heard of a subway system and soon the subway becomes more popular than the Friendship Express. What will the future be for the Friendship Express?
