This was just gonna be a one-shot to mock Common Core, but I couldn't think of an ending, so it gets really, really dark at the end. Ye be warned.

One night, after some sort of gathering where the Mane 6 and Discord showed up, Princess Celestia was behind on her work and had to go over a bunch of nationwide school policies. Sadly, she forgot that the prankster Discord was still around, and he spikes her coffee, leading her to sign Common Core into law, which makes all the school children go insane.

Although it was unintentional, Discord loved it anyway, since he is still a prankster at heart.

I'm not even sure what this is about. It was just everything popping into my brain until I got the minimum 1,000 words. A minimal amount of effort was put into this, so it's not one of my best works. I had to keep the stories flowing to stay somewhat relevant since I'm still working on a longer story that's not yet ready for posting.
