My name is Lala Song. I have to hide things, scary things, things that may create me or destroy me. And now, I've put the people I love in danger.

My name is Butterscotch Savoury. I've discovered a deep secret about my friend, Lala. And now, I think I've put everyone she cares about, including myself, in danger.

Lala Song is probably the most common pony you'll meet. She's not the type to obsess over things, and she seems like a common musician.

But, looks can be deceiving.

What most ponies don't know about Lala is that she is an agent of The Strategic Plan for Enforcement and Logic League, or S.P.E.L.L., a secret branch of the Royal Guard, and she's been sucked back in to the world of field operations.

But, her friend, Butterscotch Savoury, a member of the Lunar Guard, becomes suspicious to Lala's behavior, and soon discovers her friend's secret life. What she doesn't realize is that in doing so, she unlocks a plot that could destroy everything Lala cares about, and becomes wrapped up in something that could save her friend's life, or destroy everything.

With the help of an unlikely team of S.P.E.L.L. agents and allies, Lala and Butterscotch must find a way to stop the plot that can destroy them…or worse…all of Equestria.
