A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away,
“Attention Captain Darkshield, shields are holding at 27%, hyperdrive engines are at 98% functionality, all weapons are at full charge, missile tubes on the port and starboard sides 1-7 are full, with 12 missiles each. Sub-light drives are operating at maximum efficiency.” the on board computer said.
Good, fire up the hyperdrives and jump to the Dagobah system, I need to meditate.” A human male in blue Mandalorian armor said, fiddling with a device about the size of a deck of playing cards. A beep and a flash came from the device, and then went still.
“Prepared to jump at your mark, Captain Darklighter.” the computer said.
“3, 2, 1, mark” Captain Jorus Darklighter said, after a moment’s hesitation. The stars bent around the ship, and it disappeared from view.
30 minutes earlier
“Sir, we need to push forward if we are to get the experimental device from the Sienar Systems shipyard here!” a man in white armor said, while shooting at twelve droids with his squad.
“I know, we need to take out the droids first!” a man in blue Mandalorian armor shouted back, wielding two blue energy blades, deflecting incoming fire back at the droids, and ricocheting a few bolts off of a crate in the corner, hit a panel in the wall, sparks flying everywhere and a door slid open.
“Okay, move through that door!” the same man shouted, rushing out and slicing through most of the rest of the droids. He jumped over the last droid and decapitated it. He and five men in white armor ran through the open doorway, and he grabbed a device sitting on a pedestal in the middle of the room and pocketed it. He pulled a different device from a different pocket and activated it, and he and the clones ran outside to a landing platform, where two ships were landing, a corvette cruiser and a LAAT/i.
“Well, I guess this is the last I see of you, so good-by” the man in blue armor said.
"It was a pleasure to serve under you, sir” the clone troopers responded, saluting him. The clones boarded the LAAT and they took off, flying north. He shook his head and walked to the boarding ramp of his ship, heading to the bridge. He took off and exited the gravity well, jumping to hyperspace.
20 standard hours later
A ship reverted to real space over the planet Equestria Prime, and an orbital defense team was sent to escort it down the gravity well.
A comm crackled with static on the Shadow, the corvette that was being escorted through the gravity well. A female voice said “This is the cruiser Darkness, we are escorting you down the gravity well of Equestrian Prime to docking bay number 17, where you are to present an offering to King Sombra and Princess Nightmare Moon.”
The two ships landed, and a group of Equines in light armor walked around to the opening boarding ramp, and waited for the people in the ship to come out. A man came out of the ship and said, “I am Captain Jorus Darkshield of the ship, the Shadow, and I apologize, but I did not know that I would need to make an offering, so I hope this will suffice.” Jorus pulled out a remote and pressed a button on it, and a crate came down the ramp. The Equines opened it, revealing 50 DC-15 blaster rifles in it.
“Faust forgive, are you an experimental arms dealer? Ah am so sorry we stopped you sir, let me buy ya a drink. Rainbow, get over here!” She shouted to a blue mare with a rainbow mane. “This here stallion is an arms dealer, let’s buy him a drink!” she continued. “Oh, by the way, I’m Applejack, and this here is Rainbow Dash.” she introduced herself and her friend.
He stuck out his hand and they shook hands and he introduced himself, "I'm Captain Jorus Darkshield, and do either of you have an airspeeder, or do you know where a good cantina is?” Jorus asked.
"Oh yeah, there's a place with good cider just up the street from here, we can there." Rainbow said, unfurling her wings. Jorus stumbled back and Rainbow asked, "Hey, what's up? I have wings, so what?"
"Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that you had wings, sorry about that." Jorus said back.
"Wait a moment, where's your tail? You're obviously not a minotaur, or griffin, so where's your tail?" Rainbow asked.
"Now Rainbow, don't be rude to him, you ever hear of armor that keeps your tail out of the way?" Applejack cut in.
"Actually I don't have a tail, oh, we're at the cantina." Jorus said, stopping in front of a cantina on the corner at the end of the street.
"What do you mean, you don't have a tail? Did it get cut off?" Applejack said, walking inside the cantina.
"Surprise!" a bunch of ponies and other people shouted, causing Jorus to jump do a back-flip out of the doorway. When he saw that it was just a welcome party he walked inside and ran into a pink pony, who introduced herself as Pinkie Pie, and took off his helmet to help himself to a piece of cake.
"Faust! What's wrong with your head?" asked Rainbow.
Suddenly the room quieted down as a lavender mare wearing a black cloak walked in and said "I assume you're my contact, I could sense you when you came planetside."
"I have no idea who you are or what you want from me." Jorus said back, and put his helmet back on.
"Fine, I lay claim on you in the stead of the Dark empire of King Sombra, who controls all Force sensitive individuals, if you do not comply you will be broken." the mare pulled out a long lightsaber, and ignited it showing a red blade. Jorus pulled out his own lightsaber, with a crossguard-like hilt and ignited it, and showing a blue blade. The purple mare jumped forward stabbing at where he was standing, but the blade did not connect with him. He'd used the Force to augment his speed, and slid to the side, out of the way of the lightsaber blade. He sliced down at her unprotected forearm and was suddenly blocked by a second blade springing from the base of her hilt.
He jumped back and said, "Oh, so you have a double-bladed lightsaber, do you? Well two can play at that game." He pulled apart his lightsaber and ignited the second one. He did a front-flip over the mare and stuck out a hand. A vague whiteness came out of her back and went into his hand and she collapsed face-first, her lightsaber deactivating as it rolled out of her hand. He deactivated his lightsabers and put them back together, and threw her limp body over his shoulder.
He shouted to Rainbow and her friends, "Come on, we need to get back to my ship, more of them will be coming soon."
Rainbow stood back and asked, "Does your ship have a hangar? I have a starfighter that I can fly better than anyone else on this planet."
"Rainbow, you saw my ship, what do you think? Of course I have a hangar." Jorus snapped, running to the docking facility. He pushed a guard into another and grabbed the crate that he had given them, jumping into his ship and putting on his helmet.
He dropped off the lavender mare in the brig, putting a headset on that blocked any form of concentration, so that she couldn't use the Force. Then he went down into the hangar and waited while the ship took off.
When the ship was about a kilometer off the ground he jumped into a Z-95 Headhunter and took off down and out of the hangar. There was a small starfighter in a familiar shade of blue tailing them up the gravity well. Suddenly, a black starfighter started firing on them, and Jorus's ship took the fire on his shields. He returned fire, masking a proton torpedo in the flurry of laser-fire. The black starfighter took the lasers directly, and then got hit by the proton torpedo. It went down and crashed in a field outside of the city. Rainbow's starfighter overtook Jorus's and flew up into the hangar. Jorus flew up into the hangar and saw Rainbow getting out of her ship, and taking off a helmet and shaking her head to get her hair to fall to down past her shoulders.
"Oh, hey, good job with the blackie." Rainbow said, walking to the hangar door. Jorus followed up behind her, walking past her. "Hey, who's flying this ship?" Rainbow asked, looking confused.
"I am. I have the ship on a slave circuit to my helmet so I can control it remotely from anywhere on the planet, if I'm on the same planet. It only works to a certain extent, so that's why we're going to the bridge. Oh, we're here," He said, stopping in front of a blast door. He tapped a code in on a panel in the wall and the doors slid open, revealing Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and a few unfamiliar mares, three of which were at most twelve years old. There was an alabaster white unicorn with a purple mane that was complaining about a hole in her clothes that was from a blaster bolt, a mare with a pink mane and beige fur that Jorus almost missed, she had shrunk into her seat so much. The three fillies were orange, white, and a beige color.
"Welcome Captain Darkshield, everything is operating at maximum efficiency, hyperdrives are ready, all that is needed is to select a destination. the on-board computer said, going through statistics.
"Hey Rainbow, do you have a drive with star systems?" Jorus asked, looking over at Rainbow. She looked through the pockets of her flight suit and pulled out a drive, and tossed it to Jorus. He caught it and plugged it in, and said, "Override code Delta-7-7-H-Alpha, upload new galaxy star systems and set as default, but keep old systems in memory. Then run a comparison on the two galaxies, I have a theory that when that device dissolved, it dimension shifted."
"Very well, Captain Darkshield." The computer responded. A hologram board lit up in the center of the bridge, flashing hundreds of symbols in the blink of an eye. "Upload complete. Proceed with comparison?" the computer asked.
"Yes, run the comparison. Alert me if they are exactly same, If not then my theory was incorrect." Jorus said.
The board lit up again, displaying a galaxy in a blink of an eye, then another. "Sir, the galaxies are exactly the same, other than different names of planets and star systems."
Jorus examined the galaxy, and said, "Take us to Dogtooine, it is a force sensitive planet." the stars shifted around the ship as it disappeared from the view of orbital facilities.
