On one beautiful spring day, a charred alicorn plummeted into a clearing just outside of Ponyville. She hit the ground with a 'thump', and slowly opened her eyes to this world for the first time. Trees surrounded her, and not much else. Once the pony looked down, however, she shot up and did a little jig.
"Success! It was a complete success!" she screeched. Suddenly realizing she cannot balance herself well on her new legs, the excited alicorn falls flat on her face. A bit more carefully this time, the peachy alicorn struggles to her hooves. Once upright, the mare proceeds to examine her new wings, horn, cutie mark, hooves, and tail. Then after about ten minutes of this bodily inspection, the charred peachy alicorn looks around again. "If I calculated right, it should be about..." the alicorn jumped into the middle of the clearing, near where she had landed. "Here!"
The alicorns' head drooped. "Wrong clearing."
*****
The peachy alicorn searched through about five clearings and was about a mile and a half from Ponyville until she finally sat down in the middle of yet another clearing. Realizing that it would be statistically impossible to find what she is looking for, she practices flying until the sun is just below the horizon. Hungry and without a place to go, the peachy alicorn considers heading towards Ponyville, which she can see if she flies above the treetops. But alas, the stubborn alicorn lays down in the grass and tries to sleep.
Halfway through the night, a blue box appears in the clearing and fills the air with loud whirring noises. The mares' eyes shoot open, but she remains perfectly still as two ponies emerge from the contraption.
"The signal was coming from this clearing," One of the ponies, a chestnut stallion, says in a heavy Trottingham accent to the other. "It was strong energy, pure arcane and time energy, a little chaos magic as well." the stallion looks around. "Nothing here seems to be powerful enough to give off a signal like that..."
"Look! There's a pony in the grass over there!" The other pony, a grey pegasus mare will misaligned eyes, shouts.
"Careful Derpy, we don't want to scare it away," the chestnut stallion whispers excitedly. Over in the grass, the alicorn mares' blood rushes with excitement. She shuts her eyes almost all the way, but tunes in her ears to hear more of their conversation.
"Doctor, if what you said, that the energy here was powerful, is true, do you think it may be coming from her?" Derpy whispers.
"Probably not. She is just a regular pony, and the signal I got was extremely powerful. But she may know something about it," the Doctor whispers back, again excited. As both ponies approach the alicorn on the ground she begins to stir. She had been waiting for this moment her entire life!
"Doctor, I think she's awake!" Derpy says. With this, the pony on the grounds' spine goes rigid, and she gets up slowly. She blinks, then sits there, unsure on what she should say or do, then lowers her head respectively. The esteemed Doctor then goes about the alicorn at a lighting fast speed and inspects her wings and horn, ecstatic.
"Hey, Derpy, isn't she one of those, alicorns, your princesses are?" he asks.
"You're right!" Derpy gaspses. "So, she might have been giving off the signal after all!" the Doctor gives her a look. "Or not." she says sheepishly.
"No, Derpy, you're brilliant!" he exclaims. "You said that your princesses are especially powerful, and represent celestial bodies from which they have equal power! So, if she is an alicorn, then that explains the powerful energy signal!" then he frowns. "But it doesn't explain all that time energy, it was almost as if there was another Time Lord around, with that much..."
As the Doctor goes on ranting about time energy, Derpy approaches the peachy alicorn.
"I'm sorry about that, he gets really excited sometimes," she apologizes. The alicorn, not being able to help it, smiles.
"I know," she says mysteriously.
"Huh?" Derpy says, utterly confused. "Doctor, do you know her?"
The Doctor stops ranting for a moment. "Now how could I know her Derpy?" he says confused. The peachy alicorn almost bursts out laughing, but decides to take the safer route.
"You can't," she says. "My name is Fuzzygecko. Nice to meet you, Doctor." Then she turns to Derpy with a goofy smile on her face. "Got any muffins? I'm starving!"
"Muffins? We've got bran, strawberry, blueberry, chocolate, raisin, you should try the blueberry, that's my favorite..." Derpy rants. The Doctor sighs and turns to Fuzzygecko, smiling.
"She can go on about muffins forever," he says in his heavy accent. Then his eyes light up. "Want to come inside?"
"Sure!" Fuzzygecko says, giddy with excitement. Then she turns to face the blue box. "Nice TA- blue box you have there!"
The Doctor smiles more, not noticing her mistake. "Why thank you!"
