"Spike!" Twilight called from the bookshelves. Silence; nothing but dust bunnies rolling on the floor like tumbleweeds. "Spiiiike! Where's my number one assistant when I need him?"
Spike hurled himself into the room, tripping over his own feet as he ran. Wiping the crumbs off his mouth with a claw, he faltered under Twilight's stern glare.
"I see you've already eaten." She stated, nodding at the crumbs now littering her impeccable library floor, "Really Spike? That's the third box of cookies this week! Think about the nutrition!" Dash kicked in the direction of the door, where an empty box caught Twilight's eye.
"Oh Celestia damn it, that purple son of a dragon."
Rainbow dismissed Twi's frustration, and sauntered past her to the bookshelves. "I need a book. Daring needs me." She declared. Twilight gathered her head and joined Rainbow, noting the sleek form of the latter while she perused the library.
"Daring-do, where are you? Hmmm..." Rainbows search took her in full circle around the room, pausing at a tattered, very old book. Twilight's thoughts rushed back and hit her like a freight train when she saw the blue mare removing the book from the wall.
"WAIT, Rainbow, t-that's not the right book..." Twilight's voice tapered off to barely more than a squeak as she watched the pegasus's face change expressions like a light. Grinning, to shocked, to REALLY grinning, with a hint of... arousal?
