I'm scared

It was a dark an rainy midnight and spike was sleeping at the boutique. He was sleeping on a guest bed rarity had but he was moving and mumbling in his sleep. he kept on rolling around in his sleep he was obviously having a nightmare.

He was in the library dusting the old books when some dust comes from the books and gets in his nose. he sneezed and burned some of twilights books but what worried him was he burned twilight's favorite book. It was about star swirl the bearded, and to make things worse it was in front of twilight.

Twilight grew an angry face and screamed at spike "WHAT IN TARTURUS DID YOU DO SPIKE." spike began to coward and get teary eyes.

"YOU KNOW THAT BOOK MENT SO MUCH TO ME AND YOU RUINED IT I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WERE SUCH AN IDIOT AND BURNED MY BOOKS. NUMBER 1 ASSISTANT MORE LIKE WORST ASSISTANT." twilight said and spike began crying and even wet himself.

"OH LOOK WHAT YOU DID NOW SPIKE YOU HAVE TO STOP ACTING LIKE A BABY. I AM TIRED OF YOU DOING EVERYTHING WRONG YOU ARE SUCH A STUPID LITTLE DRAGON SPIKE NOW GO AWAY NOW." twilight said and spike ran off crying more then ever.

Spike woke up with a scream and began crying he screamed "NO I'M SORRY TWILIGHT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT."

The scream woke up rarity who searched to see who screamed she soon found spike curled up in ball crying. She trotted up to him and began cradling him and said "Se spike wikey it's ok rarity is here no pony will hurt you."

Spike snuggled up to rarity still being scared and cried he said "I-I'm sorry r-rarity for w-waking you u-up."

"Oh it was nothing dear but why di you scream? Did you have a nightmare." Spike noded still crying and rarity wiped his tears away she then said "What was it about please tell me the details I really want to help you."

"W-well I was helping twilight w-with cleaning and I was dusting. B-but some dust came from s-some of the books a-and I sneezed a-and burned the b-books. S-she screamed at me a-and said I-I'm a dumb a-and stupid assistant and I-I'm s-such a b-baby."

"Oh my goodness I'm so sorry but don't worry Rarity is here, Rarity will protect you." Rarity said and with that spike fell asleep in her hooves she then rocked him and began singing a lullaby to spike. spike also began sucking on his claw rarity could not help but aww at what spike is doing.

"That's it just sleep Rarity will be here to help you now just sleep." Rarity also fell asleep with spike still in her hooves
