Cheerilee's Madness - Love is a broken word
"I guess you could say I deserve to rot in the Everfree Forest for my actions. I guess you could say I deserve to be banished for my actions as a teacher. And I guess you could say that no matter what, nopony will respect me again after what I did. I guess you could also say I don't really care. I've never had somepony in my life... well there's Big Mac but we both knew it wasn' real love but we stayed good friends through it. Nopony else fit the script of my perfect stallion. I wanted so much out of relationship, a foal to call my own, someone to snuggle with, and someone to comfort me when I was lonely. I wanted what many of my marefriends had but again... no one was available. Then that one day happened... While afterschool as I was depressed at my desk as usual. Two young colts came to me to see what was wrong. I could tell they cared about my emotions and were... willing to care about me. That's when it hit me. Perhaps I was trying to go for the wrong type of stallion. Maybe what I needed was somepony that was more childish... yeah and more cute... Excuse me but class is about to end and I need to make sure that this works."
The bell rang and the children started moving out of their chairs. They packed up all their items and prepared to leave out the room when their teacher, Miss Cheerilee spoke. "Children remember to work on your projects with a partner. They will be due in three days." The children didn't respond but she knew they were listening to her as they left the room. She watched them leave like a swarm of parasprites that just found food to eat. "Uh Snails and Pipsqueak!"
The two colts stopped dead in their tracks at the door, slowly turning their heads around to meet the gaze and warm smile of their teacher. "Yes, Miss Cheerilee?"
"You two do realize that you have detention for sticking Apple Bloom to her chair with super glue - "She walked over to them and motioned them back to their desks "- Remember? She had to wear pants to cover her bare flank."
Cheerilee listened in as they whispered, "It was your idea Snails." , "Nuh uh, I got the idea from Diamond Tiara." , and "She should be here too!"
Cheerilee cleared her throat which garnered the attention of both colts. "Then you'll be serving her time too." Snails and Pipsqueak watched her walk back to the desk; they noticed that she was swaying her tail back and forth which was unusual since she never did it during class. "Now be good little colts and just stay quiet for the next two hours and you can go home." She stated as she sat down in her seat to see them.
"Yes Miss Cheerilee." The two colts submissively said with their heads hung low and their ears flopped to the sides.
Cheerilee went to work on signing papers on her desk, reading each one carefully before assigning a grade to each paper. Of course Snips and Snails got D-, Diamond Tiara got B+, and Honey Flow got an A+. Once she reached the lower half of the papers, a look of disgust struck her face. Scootaloo's paper had stick figures of Rainbow Dash all over it as well as the words Awesome and 20% Cooler on the corners. Apple Bloom's paper was more decent but hard to understand. "Even her writing is similar to how she speaks" Cheerilee thought. She gave Apple Bloom a B for effort and moved on to the next paper.
"Miss Cheerilee?" Pipsqueak asked, raising his hand in the air.
Cheerilee turned her attention to the spotted colt. "Yes Pip?"
"Can me and Snails play a game while we're in detention? Please?" Pipsqueak flashed a smile that rivaled Apple Bloom's in an attempt to win his teacher over.
"No, this is punishment for your actions." She answered as she returned to work.
"Please?" He asked again.
"I'm sorry but no." She answered again.
"Please?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Please please please please please?!"
Cheerilee sighed and gave in. She didn't answer but got her answer across by waving her hand in a shooing gesture. She heard the two colts cheer for a few seconds before the sound of desks and chairs shifting filled the room. Cheerilee continued to ignore the noise while giving Dinky Doo a F on her paper. "How is it possible for 3 + 10 - 4 to equal muffin." Cheerilee mumbled under her breath. Sh moved to Twist's paper but quickly gave it an F and shoved it to the side. "Oh Celestia no! Last time I read her paper... my stomach can't take it again!" She thought while involuntarily cupping her mouth with her hands.
"Uh Miss Cheerilee?" Snails spoke up this time.
"*Sigh* Yes Snails?" Cheerilee darted her eyes to the middle of the room to see Pipsqueak being held in a chokehold style fashion by Snails who somehow got his own legs stuck around his neck. "What the he-ck?!" She yelled out while jumping out from behind her desk and running over to them.
She quickly undid the two's trick with a swift tug on Pipsqueak's legs. Snails fell on his back and Pipsqueak landed on his side, both with loud thumps.
"What were you two thinking you could have been seriously injured!" She scolded.
"Aw c'mon teacher, we were just playing." Pipsqueak pleaded. "It was just for fun."
"Yeah and besides, It was all fake. Just like you-" Snails was cut short by Pipsqueak's punching him in the shoulder.
"What's fake about me?" She asked while placing her hands on her hips. Cheerilee could see Snails sweating profusely as his eyes darted a few inches past her neck, towards her open buttoned up shirt. "Well?!"
"Boobs!" Snails yelled out at the sound of her voice.
Pipsqueak fell onto the floor laughing uncontrollably while Snails' head turned a bright shade of pink. Despite his embarrassment in front of their teacher, he continued to stare right at her chest. Pipsqueak's eyes remained closed, unable to see Cheerilee's right eye twitch, her mouth scowling and her hands on her hips. He continued to laugh until he heard something snap. It sounded similar to a tree being snapped in half only more deeper.
"Okay what wa-" Upon opening his eyes, he saw Snails laying on the ground, his head turned towards his back. His eyes and mouth opened wide as if in shock. "-aah!"
"Now then-" Cheerilee adjusted herself and walked over to the desk. "I don't want no more talking from either of you."
