NOTE: Alicornification in this story means Rarity gains a Cadance like-esque body because I say so, dammit of aesthetically pleasing reasons.

Magic Release

Rarity's beauty had always been bewitching, but it was somehow even more so now that she had a pair of beautiful, white wings and a mane that glittered thanks to the magic coursing through every strand of hair. It didn't help either that the unicorn… no, alicorn was sitting outside on Celestia's balcony, the beams of moonlight softly illuminating her body and crown as she looked out into the capital city of Equestria.

Celestia wasn't sure how long she'd been sitting there watching her beloved, but after a while, she found that she could bare the distance no longer. The sound of the balcony doors opening briefly caught Rarity's attention, but she nevertheless didn't turn around, instead continuing to watch over the city that had once held all her dreams — dreams that were now safely kept by the princess of the sun.

"Lovely night, isn't it? Peaceful," Rarity asked all of a sudden. "Nothing like yesterday. I think I could hear fireworks being set off until dawn."

Celestia smiled and sat down next to Rarity, gazing out the balcony. "You can't blame them for celebrating. It's not often that Equestria has five new princesses crowned all at once." After all they had done for Equestria, it was high time they were properly thanked, after all.

As she spoke, she noticed Rarity's wings twitch slightly. Rarity no doubt still wasn't used to the sensation of having wings. For a moment, Celestia had the desire to brush her hoof against the other mare's wing, but resisted temptation. There would be time to get intimately acquainted with Rarity's new appendages at a later time. "How do you feel?"

Rarity frowned. "I..." She drifted off and sighed. "I'm afraid the coin hasn't dropped quite yet." She then turned to Celestia and out of instinct looked up, but upon remembering the sun princess was no longer all that taller than her, she blushed and quickly looked back towards the city. "And I’m not so positive I'll ever get used to being so tall all of a sudden."

Celestia laughed softly and inched herself towards Rarity, taking advantage of the mare's position to nuzzle against her, slightly bending herself so as to plant a soft kiss on Rarity's neck. She couldn't help but smile adorably at the sound of her lover giggling. It was admittedly a new experience for her, too. Rarity's coat, which before had already been ridiculously soft, had somehow become even more so. The scent she had put on for the ceremony was intoxicating to the senses, and everything Celestia felt was only intensified by the knowledge that she would never be deprived of Rarity. Ascension had not only brought wings with it, but the chance to immortality and an eternity of bliss.

Another kiss was left on the neck of her lover, and Celestia finally lifted her hoof to tenderly brush Rarity's wing. She felt the young alicorn tense up at the contact, but another kiss and more loving caresses soon coaxed her into relaxing under the Princess' expert touch.

Rarity let out a content murmur, and when Celestia pulled back, she turned her head around so as to treat herself to a kiss, Celestia's hoof still tracing lines on her wing. "Heavens," she said when they broke the kiss, her lips still inches away from Celestia's. "I wonder how I'm expected to get used to being an alicorn when I'm still not used to being able to kiss you."

Celestia observed her in silence, for a moment thinking back to the unicorn who would be too awed to even speak without stumbling on her words. It was a bit amusing to know that said unicorn still existed somewhere inside the stunning, confident mare in front of her. Celestia leaned in and engaged in a kiss much more passionate than Rarity's. Even though Rarity and the others had been in Canterlot for a few days now, they had scarcely found the time to be alone.

But now, everyone had finally retreated to their own rooms, and some ponies were finally able to spend much needed time alone. She’d noticed Cadance and Twilight had been throwing longing looks at each other throughout the ceremony, but they could scarcely be compared to those shared between herself and Rarity.

Just as Rarity made a move to deepen the kiss, Celestia abruptly put an end to it, both ignoring and secretly delighting the little plaintive whine Rarity made. Wordlessly, she stood up and trotted off into the room, making sure that her tail teasingly brushed her lover as she passed by. Rarity bit down on her lip, watching Celestia leave before glancing one last time towards the city, getting up and following the other mare into the room.

Once inside, Rarity closed the balcony doors so the cold night wind would stay outside, and then she made her way towards the bed while Celestia busied herself taking off all her royal jewelry. When she finished carefully placing her jewels on the table, she turned around to find Rarity lying in bed, belly-up and looking at her wings with curiosity. Celestia watched the scene briefly before allowing her lingering gaze to move down Rarity's new, slender body that begged to be explored, to be felt, to be loved.

Unaware of Celestia's smouldering stare, Rarity sighed dramatically and let her wings and forearms fall limp onto the bed. "It's nearly two in the morning, but I don't feel the slightest bit tired," she noted, looking up at the high ceiling. "I feel as if though Pinkie transferred all her hyperactivity into my own body." She glanced up at her horn and delicately lifted a hoof to touch it, only to quickly retrieve it when a spark of magic shot out without warning — and going by her expression, without her consent, too.

"A normal reaction. Your body is still trying to cope with the increase of magic aura flowing inside you," Celestia explained, trotting over to the bed and climbing up. She pointed at Rarity's horn. "It should take a few days for it to stabilize. Unless you release it all in one go, you'll have to get used to sudden unannounced bursts of magic."

"Release it all in one go? Is that possible?" Rarity asked, turning to look at Celestia. "I'd much rather get this over with that have to deal with my horn doing what it wants for who knows how many days."

Celestia mulled it over for a bit. "Well, theoretically you are able to discharge it on anything you want, but for security purposes, it would be better if you discharged it into something that can actually withstand the magical force."

"Does such a thing even exist?"

Celestia smiled softly. "Well..." She slowly leaned down so her face would be right next to Rarity's and whispered: "You're looking at her."

"Why, Celestia!" Rarity giggled, lifting a forehoof and tracing circles on Celestia's chin. "My, my my. Are you coming onto me?"

"I am merely suggesting an altogether more pleasant solution to your problem, Rarity," she replied sweetly, fluttering her eyelashes. Before Rarity could reply, she closed the distance between their lips and shivered ever so slightly when she felt Rarity snake her forehoof around her neck and pull her down, closing the distance between their bodies.

Celestia allowed herself to lie down next to her beloved, their lips still locked and her forehoof tracing lines on Rarity's stomach. In a tantalizing slow motion, her hoof went further down the younger alicorn’s stomach, stopping inches before a quite sensitive area. Rarity halted the kiss, growing completely still and holding her breath, no doubt expecting her lover’s hoof to go down a bit more.

But it didn’t.

Not yet.

Instead, she moved her hoof and rubbed it alongside Rarity’s hips, giggling at the annoyed huff the purple-maned alicorn let out at being relentlessly teased. After all, as much as they both wanted Celestia to have her way with Rarity right that instant, it would simply not do for the sun princess to forego properly turning on the mare beneath her.

“Celestiaaaa,” Rarity whispered pleadingly, taking the other’s hoof and gently nudging it towards her nether regions. She pouted rather cutely as an added effect, her lower lip jutting out until, to her surprise, it found herself trapped in between Celestia’s needy lips.

“Now, now, Princess Rarity,” Celestia murmured when she pulled back, leaving a trail of kisses starting from Rarity’s cheeks and going up. “A princess must be patient,” she instructed, stopping her kisses right before she reached the base of Rarity’s sensitive horn.

“Patient? A princess should get what she wants, when she want….”

Her demand was silenced when a pair of lips found themselves pressed against the base of her horn, sending chills of pleasure and surprise coursing through her body. A spark of magic shot out, but it wasn’t nearly powerful enough to even bother Celestia, who proceeded to leave another soothing kiss on the tip of Rarity’s horn.

“Sit up against the frame of the bed,” she whispered in Rarity’s ear, deciding the latter’s horn could be left to rest for the moment. A little breath of fresh air before it became the single most powerful and unpredictable object in the room. She watched as Rarity silently did as instructed, sitting up and wriggling away so her back would be lightly pressed against the frame of the bed. “Good.”

Celestia followed her towards the wall and placed both forehooves on either side of the newly crowned princess, smirking when Rarity’s cheeks flushed at finding herself nearly trapped under a pony who had made quite clear who was in control. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy Rarity being confident, but Celestia had learned during their time together that, when it came to romance, Rarity secretly desired being the one seduced and guided, instead of doing the seducing.

Celestia’s hoof once more found its place right above her lover’s private region, and though many years ago Rarity would have looked away out of sheer embarrassment, Celestia was pleased to see the fashionista’s gaze was still focused entirely on her. She leaned in to bury her muzzle against Rarity’s neck, while at the same time finally moving her hoof down Rarity’s body, ears perking upon hearing a sharp gasp.

When she leaned back, her hoof curiously exploring at a quick pace this new yet familiar territory, she found Rarity had her eyes tightly shut, biting down on her lips in a failed attempt to contain the little whimpers resulting from Celestia’s actions. One of her forehooves clutched the bedsheet while the other clutched Celestia’s foreleg.

It was going to take a lot for Rarity to be able to release all her excess magic at once, and Celestia had seen that nothing brought her to the peak of power as a perfectly prepared and executed climax. For a moment, she was ready to do what she usually did to please Rarity, but noticing her lover’s twitching wings, she came to a realization.

Rarity was an alicorn now, and her body could now stand a lot more than it did before.

During all their previous intimate moments, whenever Celestia’s magic had entered the equation, she had been forced to tone down her magic power lest she overwhelmed the unicorn’s much more delicate body, but now? Now Rarity could withstand anything, and she could withstand Celestia’s sudden intense desire to finally be able to show her to what levels she wants to please her.

Oh, she was going to have so much fun.

All of a sudden, and to Rarity’s immense displeasure, Celestia took back her hoof and placed it next to Rarity on the bed.

“Celestia,” Rarity whined, frowning at the alicorn.

Celestia giggled slightly, leaning in to kiss Rarity. “Please forgive me, my love. I… I needed to settle myself into this position so we could proceed,” she whispered against Rarity’s lips, fluttering her eyelashes.

“Well, as much as I do adore your kisses, I have to admit I’d rather you took care of other things.”

Celestia giggled again, shaking her head. “Oh, I’m not doing this so I can kiss you,” she replied, holding Rarity’s gaze in such a way that the seamstress failed to notice her horn lighting up. “It is quite late, and ponies are already fast asleep in the castle. I’m doing this so as to muffle you.”

Rarity raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean ‘muff—” Her question abruptly turned into an extremely unladylike moan when a spark shot out of Celestia’s horn at the same time that she leaned in to kiss Rarity. Her hoof’s grip around Celestia’s foreleg tightened with every magical pulse, and the name of her beloved was mixed in with her unreserved moans.

The entire spectacle her marefriend was displaying only served to further intensify the already raging sensations in Celestia’s lower region, and she had to admit it was quite the turn on to not only see the usually discreet Rarity so unabashedly lost in the sensations, but to know that it was she who was bringing the mare to such a state.

Without pausing her magic, Celestia waited until Rarity’s noises became slightly quieter and briefly ended the kiss. “Rarity?” she whispered, pulling back and seeing Rarity’s ears twitch to signal she had heard Celestia.

Rarity opened her eyes and looked at Celestia, and the princess was stunned. Stunned because even then, with disheveled mane, panting heavily, flushed cheeks and glazed eyes, Rarity still made her heart beat wildly inside her chest. When Celestia moved in again to brush their lips together, Rarity lifted a shaky hoof and lovingly brushed it the other’s cheek, not once breaking eye-contact despite what was being done to her sensitive area.

“It’s absurd how much I love you,” Celestia whispered, watching as the mare’s eyes widened for a second.

Before she knew it, Rarity had closed the distance between their lips and proceeded to fiercely kiss Celestia, snaking her forehead around the latter’s neck and bringing her closer to try and wordlessly express her equally absurd love for the princess who’d stolen her heart. It turned out, however, that Celestia's magical touches were a bit too much, and Rarity broke the kiss to try and cope with the wave of electric bliss coursing through her body.

The sun princess could only watch breathlessly; admire the domain Rarity had so generously allowed her to rule over. Every curve in Rarity's body, every touch, every beat of her heart, those damnably luscious lips and that piercing gaze -- they all belonged to Celestia, and she'd never get enough.

Her hoof once more found its spot in Rarity's sensitive area. She wasn't sure whether she had somehow increased her already powerful magical thrust, or if the added sensation of her hoof was too much for the ex-unicorn, but before she knew it, Rarity called her name out in a broken moan. And then, Rarity's horn lit up and Celestia nearly had to slam her face against Rarity just to try and stop the very loud noises of pleasure her mouth begged to let out at the extremely indecent things Rarity's magic was doing to her.

Though this wasn't the first time they'd found themselves in such an intimate situation, it was certainly the first Rarity was able to so easily shake the princess to the core with overwhelming pleasure. It wasn't just that the unicorn was, well, an alicorn now with added magical power, but... It was the same knowledge that it was Rarity who was able to do this to her that made it all the more special for her.

Celestia barely processed as Rarity wrapped her forelegs around her back and gently coaxed them into a lying position, with Celestia using her forehooves to support herself on top of Rarity -- action which was proving to be difficult what with her marefriend intermittently sensually kissing her jawline and neck.

It felt as if everything she was still doing to Rarity was a mechanical, subconscious process while her mind frantically focused on the wonders being done to her body. She could feel one of Rarity's hooves brushing through her mane, while the other brushed along the side of her hips, then her stomach and then went even lower still, until it took everything in her not to buck.

It felt as if every slow moan of Rarity's name only encouraged the seamstress to increase her pace. Perhaps if her mind was still a bit sane, Celestia might have made a teasing comment on Rarity's ego, but in that moment all she could think of or do was merely try and verbalize the feelings Rarity gave her.

It finally reached the point where she could not hold it any longer and was taken over the edge of sanity and ecstasy, unwittingly letting out one final powerful surge of magic and taking Rarity down with her.

Out of instinct, she moved away and collapsed next to Rarity, forgetting that Rarity was now strong enough to support Celestia's weight. Breathing heavily, she tried to gather her thoughts but her attempts were halted when she felt Rarity gingerly poke her with her hoof. When she opened her eyes and found the blushing mare looking at her with a timid expression, Celestia couldn't stop the smitten smile as she scooched over and let herself be enveloped in a warm hug.

They stayed that way, in complete silence, for minutes on end, only listening to their steadying breathing. Nevertheless, Celestia was positive Rarity could hear the frantic beating of her heart at the knowledge that this...

This was merely the beginning.
