Pinwheel enters Freddy Fazbear's pizza and watches the three animatronics dance around onstage. "So, you're Pinwheel? here for the week?" A yellow-maned stallion said, taking out a clipboard and pen. "Yeah. I brought my sleeping bag and some food, just in case. Y'know, if i end up staying late." The Blue mare replied, taking the form and signing it. "So, down the hall, there's the security room. Oh, and my name's Comet Jester." He said, walking down the dim hall. Pinwheel looked inside the room, which was dimly lit and had a tablet wired up to the desk. There was a big poster that read CELEBRATE! with Bonnie, Chica and Freddy. To the left and right, there were two buttons labeled DOOR and LIGHT. "Well, you need to do your jib, so i'll let you be. But one more thing: You'll be here the night shift as well. It was written on the form." Comet said, and left. "Hey! You never told me that!" Pinwheel said angrily. She glanced at the cameras, watching the foals sing and dance. At least i brought my sleeping bag, she thought, looking at the Pirate's Cove.
Things were going smoothly. It was 5 PM and nothing had gone wrong. She was munching on some food and looking through the cameras. "The night shift shouldn't be so bad if this is the day shift." Pinwheel said, relaxing in the flimsy chair. The robots danced around on stage while the foals sang along and ate slices of cake. One of them yelled, "Have my cake, Freddy!!" as she tried to climb onstage with her little wings fluttering and a slice of pink and white cake in her hoof. But before Freddy could respond, the unicorn worker lifted her away and seated her at the table, putting her cake slice in front. "Sorry, Rose Berry, but your'e not allowed to touch Freddy." Comet said, and walked off, taking a mop and cleaning up the floor, as her mother gave him a look. But for a second, Pinwheel saw the three robots eyes blink to black, twitch and whisper something along the lines of "Flesh....". She was startled and yelped, falling off her chair. "Owie!" Pinwheel groaned, and got back in the chair. "Come on, Rose Berry. We have to go home." The little fillys mother said, as she mumbled something else. Rose looked at the robots, shuddered and, and galloped after her mom. "That's really weird...She mustn't have seen that." She muttered, and looked over at Pirate's Cove. Foxy's yellow eye was peeking out the curtains, as if it was watching the foals. "Nothings wrong, Pinny. They must have a few bugs. The night shift will be OK...i hope." Pinny whispered, looking at the posters and the cupcake, sitting on the desk in front of her.
She once again checked the cameras, making sure none of them had left. "I wonder why they don't get offstage. The three used to in the last location." Pinwheel asked herself. Suddenly, Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy's eyes went black with little red dots as they began to twitch and shake, and say "SAVE US!" and "FLESH!" and so many other things. Pinwheel gasped. Her pupils shrinked to the size of a pin. She couldn't speak, as if all the air was knocked out of her stomach. Comet Jester was shocked and his jaw dropped to the desk he was behind. He rushed behind them, pushing buttons and cranking levers. They all froze in place and they resumed their casual poses. The ponies at the benches screamed and got out as quickly as possible. The foals followed, crying, leaving their cake behind, and some slices tumbled onto the floor. Once Pinwheel had calmed down, sweat was on her calm baby blue coat. Her mane was slightly damp as she ran her hoof through it. Looking through the rooms on her monitor, Foxy's eye wasn't peeking out. "Who knows what he would've done!" She said. Comet Jester was the only other pony around, shaking as the unicorn cleaned up the mess. Pinwheel left the office and found Comet in the dining area. "WHAT IN CELESTIA WAS THAT?!" She cried, staring at him. "T-there's been a few incidents here during my stay, but nothing, NOTHING has ever happened that serious or creepy." He trembled, and continued mopping and cleaning up the frosting covered cake on the floor. "There must be an explanation! Some sort of lead! A bug! Something..." Pinny trailed off, still quite shocked. "Please don't quit. This place holds an important place in fillies and colts hearts. It would be heartbreaking to Rose Berry..." He said as a tear fell from his face.
"Wait... Rose Berry? The filly who tried to give Freddy cake? Why do you care about her?" She asked, putting a hoof around him. "She's my daughter. The mare who took her her was Rose's aunt. Roses mom abandoned her, and now i'm taking care of her. Not that i d-dont want to..." He whispered, and tears spilled out. The clock read 7 PM. Pinwheel sighed. "I won't tell. I promise. Maybe i can help with Rose Berry." She whispered. Walking back to the office, Pinwheel tried to relax in her chair, but it was harder, with those images from earlier, flashing through her head. She was wiping her self with a napkin from the hayburger. "Please don't screw up my life, Fazbear." She whispered to herself, once more checking cameras. Comet Jester was no longer crying, but seemed to have cleaned up the floor and tables and was looking at Pirates Cove. After a few moments, he shuddered and walked off, to seat himself at his desk and look at papers. After a few minutes, Comet got up and seemed to reboot the three onstage. They took 15 minutes to reboot, and just 5 minutes later, a group of foals galloped in, and the gang waved to the crowd. "H-heya kids! Who's ready for some fun?- Some fun?" He said leaning forward so that the crowd could get a better look at his mask. The foals looked so happy some of them could pee themselves if it was any more amazing through their squash-sized eyes. Pinwheel seemed calm enough to enjoy the foals who were dancing and singing and other things that happy foals did at a place like Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. She carefully eyed the three bots onstage as they sang happy songs with the birthday colt. His bright blue mane bounced as he jumped with his special "Birthday Hat" that Comet had given him.
At 7:30, the robots eyes turned black with little red dots, this time whispering "Kill...". Pinwheel was once again startled, but only yelling "EEEP!". She sighed, looking for some ponys face to be startled or nervous. "How is no pony noticing this?" Pinwheel asked herself, and rubbed her hooves on her forehead. She found Comet talking to a mare who had walked in with Rose Berry. Pinwheel squinted. It was the mare who had taken Rose Berry earlier! They seemed to be fussing about something, hearing words like "Needs a new mom" and "Not properly supported". Pinwheel realized they must be talking about Rose Berry! The filly found what could be assumed to be a friend of hers, and they talked and ate a slice of cake. "You aren't a proper parent, Comet Jester. I can take care of her properly!" She said, and stomped her hoof slightly. "Can we please talk later? It's my turn to take care of her anyway." He said, and seemed to angrily call someone. The mare walked over to Rose Berry and talked to her. Rose Berry nodded and walked over to her friend. "I guess they take turns to take care of Rose." Pinny said, and looked through all of the cameras as she started to think about the robots. The clock read 9:00. "Alright kiddos, time to go home! Have a nice sleep!" Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica said in unison, waving out to foals as they began to leave the tables in the dining area and the parents dropped bags of bits on the counter. Rose Berry trotted up to Comet Jester. "Can we go home?" She asked. "Not yet. I just have to clean up for five minutes." He said, and kissed her on the head. "I can help too!" She cried out happily, and started to gather the plates off the tables, balancing some on her head and hovering over with her little wings. "That's nice sweetie. I always wanted some help in the wee hours." Jester said and mopped up a puddle of whatnot.
After a few minutes, Pinwheel yawned. Comet Jester wheeled the bucket/mop to a corner and herded Rose Berry beside him. Before he left, Comet waved at the camera and the two walked out. "Ugggggh....Ahm soooo tired... maybe i can quit the day shift. " She moaned, her eyes were growing heavy. And she fell asleep...Not knowing of what awaited her. Thank goodness they don't do much till 12 AM.
