Abelle was highly respected in Canterlot for her services to others, and how she had a kind word for everyone. All that is in the past now, as she was turned into a Changeling on the day the Changeling army invaded Canterlot. When they were all repelled, she could not be recognized as a unicorn anymore, so she went along with them. Now, she is just a shell of her former self. She is always hungry, having to feed off love now, and is mocked by the other Changelings for not being pure. But Abelle finds a glimmer of hope when Queen Chrysalis offers her a deal. She complies without thinking it through, and she goes on her mission, with a spell that disguises her as a normal unicorn. When she completes the first step in her mission, she becomes unsure if she really wants what Queen Chrysalis is promising. Was she really the same as who she was before? Or has she become just as cruel and selfish as the Changelings she so desperately wants to be freed from?
