As Applejack walked trough the corridors, she knew nothing would be the same.A sad feeling invaded her. What had she done to deserve this? As tears dropped off her eyes, she remembered how it was before, when she was a young mare, when Equestria used to be green and joyful, full of life and ponies. She remembered Twilight, Rarity, Pinky Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, all so unique and most importantly all her best friends. She remembered playing innocently with her friends and working on her fields.
Those fields, they used to be different. She could remember the time when Big MacIntosh was plowing them, and when she would come by and help him plant the seeds. Before, her land was filled with apple trees, and she would spend the day walking between them with baskets and kicking the apples off the trees with her hooves to bring them back home, where she transformed them into cider. Such a luxury could not be affored now, when the lands belonged to the government and the cider squeezers have all been melted off to make tanks and guns and any sort of imaginable weapons. Of course the government didn't care, it was too busy doing war and filling up camps, making order reign with a hoof of steel and a secret police spying on any and all.
After the EQSI or Equestrial Socialists had overthrown Celestia, everything had gone wrong. At first it seemed OK, with the EQSI government starting the economy and giving jobs and money, but that was before they showed their true faces. They had decided for no apparent reason that yellow ponies were the cause of all problems. When the government takes position on something, propaganda follows and when propaganda takes position on something, the ponies follow. All those ponies, they were humiliated by their defeat at the First Equestrian War and were happy to find someone to blame it all on. Humiliated also by the Canterlot treaty, which did not let them have the strong economy they had before, humiliated by the years of economical depression, making even the most basic goods difficult to find.
Now that they found someone to blame it all on, what would they do? Deportation was not an option, and the ponies were hungry for payback on those innocent scapegoats. The government decided to create gigantic camps, where yellow ponies were shipped to be forced to work without stopping. Applejack lost a big part of her family because of those camps. Yellow ponies were first stripped of their possessions, which were given to the state. They were then sent to the camps, packed like cattle on a train. They were never seen again. Dead or still alive? No one knew.
One day, it was Apple Bloom's turn. Applejack protested, but the police would not let her stay.
"Yellow ponies are inferior and must be treated this way!" They said, to justify their
actions.
Apple Jack could not wisthand the sight of her younger sister being taken from her. She said that whatever would happen, she would stay with Apple Bloom. The police took her on the train. That was the last time she would see her old barn.
Arrived at the camps, they were divided between stallions and mares. Immediatly, Apple Jack was forced to charge,push and empty carts full of rocks. They were extremely heavy. She felt like she was going to die each day, but she kept hanging on. To not get beaten by the guards, but mostly to keep watching on Apple Bloom.
Then one day she returned from her part of the carry, her hooves bleeding and her body screaming in pain. The sight of Apple Bloom should make things OK. It always did. But she was not here, nor were the other fillies or old ponies. Like a madpony, AJ ran across all the camp, looking for her sister. She asked every single pony, but none had seen her. She then came across this middle-aged mare. she told her this always happened to the useless. The fillies and the old ponies. They were sent away in rooms, never seen again. AJ collapsed and started crying.
This day it was her turn. Walking down the corridor with fillies and old ponies, but also other mares. She would finally see Apple Bloom. It was going to end. Everything was going to be ok. The guards sealed the doors, and she watched the gas be released from the little tunnels. She couldn't feel any pain. Soon, she didn't feel anything at all. She fell to the floor, coughing.
"Don't worry Apple Bloom, I'm coming."
