A.K Yearling, now is retired from being Daring Do and has passed the title to her much younger niece. As she keeps writing the "Daring Do" stories she finds ponies are finding her stories less interesting and soon Yearling decides to get rid of Daring Do alltogether and bring her series to an end. Problem is, she doesn't want to let "Daring" go.
