I walked into the tent with my squad's new orders, "rise and shine slackers," I yell firing an air horn, "we've got to roll at 0700 hours!"
My squad jog towards the armory all of us running for our choice of weapons. I quickly grab my bread and butter a barrett M82 sniper rifle with jungle camouflage and a M9 pistol with a red skull spray painted on the barrel. Private Shepherd got a M4 with a red skull spray painted on the barrel and a desert eagle on his hip. And finally Corporal Guzzo with his Remington shotgun with the squad's logo on the stock strapped on his shoulder and a M9 on his hip.
"Alright everyone head to the chopper," I say order. As we got on the black hawk I report to command, " this is Sergeant Johnson of the headhunters squad we're heading out." The chopper took off, "alright ladies, here's our objective we have word that a convoy with the leader of ISIS going to attack Kenya's leader for guns and supplies. The Kenya's leader has told us to keep them from approa-," I was cut off by a RPG hitting the chopper. Then everything went black.
I open my eyes seeing green and hear animals calling to each other. " Head count," I yell relieved when I hear everyone groan here. "Alright everyone find your gear and follow me," I ordered happy to know everyone's not dead.
We headed off finding our way out of the forest. We reach the end and saw a cottage with chickens walking around. We walk up to the door and knock we waited for 30 seconds before a small yellow pony answered the door.
"Aww look it's so cute,"Guzzo said stretching a hand to pet the pony.
"Guzzo, do you want to keep that hand. Well I suggest you put it down," I said putting as much acid into as I could.
"You don't have to be so mean about it, " I heard a small female voice say. I looked for the lady who said that," uh down here. " the small pony said.
" Okay now I've seen everything. A talking pony. Are there any people like me around," I ask raising an eyebrow.
"I've never seen anything like you before, "she whispered.
" um... okay I'm Sergeant Johnson and this is my squad. Here's Shepherd, " I said pointing to him," and this is Guzzo. "
" I'm Fluttershy,"she whispered barely audible.
"Sarge, our supplies our ruined,"Shepherd informed me holding up a empty bottle of water.
"Fluttershy could you give us some food and water. "
" Sure come in. My friends our inside having a tea party, "Fluttershy opened the door wider for us.
We walked inside and followed her into the living room and Guzzo and Shepherd sat down on a couch. I followed Fluttershy into the Kitchen only to be greeted by 5 other technicolor ponies. They all stopped what they were doing when the noticed me,"girls this is Sergeant Johnson, " Fluttershy introduced me.
" Hey I'm Pinkie Pie, "a pony with a light pink coat hopping 3 feet off the ground.
" uh hey there Pinkie Pie, "I sighed.
God her voice is annoying how many cups of coffee did she have, 10?
" Hi, "the rest of them say. But one she was had a purple coat and she was staring me like she wanted to disect me.
" Do you guys have a ruler here?,"I asked.
"Yeah, but you have to have Twilight here to have her to call the Princess come, " a pony with a tan coat said shaking a hoof to the purple pony.
Just then a knock on the door was heard. Fluttershy came out and answered it. There stood a tall, white pony with multicolored hair stood in the doorway. Her smile faded when she saw my men on the couch, "Fluttershy, who are your new friends," the pony said. I then noticed the crown on her head.
"I am Sergeant Johnson of the headhunter Squadron, and these are my men. Private Shepherd and Corporal Guzzo," I say gesturing to my men who had jumped to attention.
"Greetings I am Princess Celestia, and what is your species? "the Princess asked nervously looking towards our weapons.
" We are human beings, and we came to ask Fluttershy for some food and water."I say noticing the two male ponies in golden armor glaring at me. My hand was slowly reaching for my M9.
"And what is that you're reaching for? " she asked the two armored ponies came over to us unsheathing their swords.
My men quickly aimed their primary weapons warning the advancing ponies to stand down. I fired a round in the air causing everyone to shut up." Alright everybody calm the fuck down. I'm trying to have a civil conversation with the Princess, "I say putting the pistol back inside the holster." That right there was a gun. We are part of the United States Military we are soldiers trying to find our way back home. We will do anything you ask in exchange for your help to get us back home. " I say kneeling to show my respect.
" I suppose something can be arranged. Ahh yes, there is the wedding between Princess Cadence and Shining Armor. We do need extra security during the wedding. "the Princess looked at the Squad.
" Alright we would be happy to help, " I say," there's only one problem we don't have anywhere to sleep. "
The Princess nodded and waved for us to follow her. We follow her and stopped when she got into the chariot," you will stay at The Crystal Empire to get further orders. Oh and you six please accompany them. " she said before taking off with 4 winged ponies in the front.
" Does anybody else's head hurts from her voice, " Guzzo asked rubbing his head.
" Shut up Guzzo, " I bark." Now did anybody bring silencers. " nothing but silence," alright ponies looks like you have to follow us to grab supplies. " I say walking towards the forest.
" Uh their not following sir,"Shepherd informed me.
I turn to see the ponies frozen in fear. "What's wrong," I ask trying to hide my impatience.
The Twilight spoke, " That's the Everfree forest we can't go in there. It's too dangerous," Fluttershy and a unicorn with a purple mane nodded in agreement.
"Alright you three stay here while the rest of us go grab supplies, " I walk off with my squad, Pinkie Pie, a light blue pegasus with rainbow hair, and a tan pony with a blonde mane following me into the forest.
