She waved her hoof at the window and a dark curtain fell over it blocking the light, she conjured two earplugs and stuffed them in her ears, she lay her head down on her pillow and tugged on her sheet. Only a few seconds passed by when Discord burst into the room, more light and music disturbing Espíritu from her rest she turned to her father who had a drink, most likely some form of alcohol, in his claw. “What are you doing sleepy head, get up! Don’t you know there is a huge party outside?” he called over the music. “Yeah,” She replied, There is one every day!” She grabbed the pillow and pushed it hard on her face, Discord shook is head and closed the door behind him. He waved his lion paw at her sheet and it swept of her body, she squealed at the sudden movement, she glared angrily at him. “Dad, in the world above it is one o’clock in the morning. And I haven’t had any sleep!” “We’re immortal spirits who rule heaven and hell, we don’t need sleep.” He shrugged. She groaned and fell back onto her pillow and rapped her wings around her body. “How long until you go check on the land of the forgotten?” Discord conjured a clock. “Not for another three days, unless something happens, but that’s highly unlikely.”  He sipped some of his drink. She sighed in defeat. “Fine, I will get up if you get out of my room,” He snapped his paw and was gone. The young pegasus got out of bed and pulled the covers over her bed. She went towards a small cupboard; she pulled out a thin, red shirt and pulled it over her head, she then rapped a colourful, yet random, skirt. After putting her shoes on she left her room and went down stairs. She heard the music louder than before, she wondered where she would go and if anything different would happen today, she highly doubted it. She went towards the back entrance of her home as there was most likely a crowd of people there and she wasn’t in the mood to have lots of attention, she silently totted out her home. She saw the crowd of people walking through the festivities. She pushed her way through the crowd, luckily no one recognized her. She flew up to the huge tree, which acted as the entrance to the land of the remembered. She fell next to the bark and stared out over the party. “Why?” she asked herself, “What is the point of celebrating? What is the point of me? My parents are immortal so what am I supposed to do?” she hugged her back legs and placed her yellow head on them, her black hair fell down to cover what was left of her face, it was quiet, only ever disturbed when one of the ponies in Mexico died. She felt lonely there. She felt forgotten there. She felt discarded there. She felt happy there. Pinkie Pie bounced around the cave of souls, watching them blow out and more candles appearing. She frowned as she saw a small candle struggle to fit into a space. She bounced over to it. “Hi little guy! Can’t fit huh?” The candle turned from side to side, as if shacking its head. “Well I can fix that! But first what’s your name?” The candle was silent. “Oh right, Book of Life?” She called. Instantly a book appeared at her side, what’s this little guys name?” The book flicked through the pages, and stopped at the story of a grey pegasus pony with miss-matched eyes. “Oh, thank you. So hi Ditzy!” The candle span around. Pinkie laughed. “Well let’s get you a space.” Ditzy’s candle sat on the pink ponies back as she hopped around the cave. She placed the candle next to another one. “Say hello to Doctor Whooves, Ditzy meet Doctor, Doctor meet Ditzy!” The two candles seemed to be happy as they probably were getting to know one another. “Hey Pinkie.” Called a small voice. Pinkie turned to the source of the voice. A yellow pegasus with a light pink mane was standing there with a bright smile on her face. “Oh hi Flutters!” The pink pony went over to embrace her dear friend. “How have you been?” “Fine thank you, you?” “Better than ever, made any wagers recently?” she joked. Fluttershy laughed at her joke. “No, me and Discord have been going on well ever since Espíritu.” “Speaking of which how is she?” “She is fine, still not as energetic as she used to though.” “So what brings you here?” Asked the pink pony as she went back to check on the candles. “I was wondering, has any pony sneaked in?” “No, why?” “Ponies have been going missing.” “You know Flutters they may just be forgotten.” “Yes, I know I was just making sure. Mind if I stay and help?” “Of course not, I could always use the extra help.” “Thank you,” she muttered. Spike searched around the small home. He searched and searched but could not find it. He had checked everywhere but could not find his goal. "Are you okay suger-cube," asked a mare in a western accent. "I can't find it, I just can't find it!" "Are you lookin' for yer guitar?" "Yes, and I'm going to perform in just a few minutes," Apple Jack turned her head out of the room and smirked. "You sure you checked everywhere?" "Everywhere but the kitchen sink!" he exclaimed still searching. "Exactly!" Apple Jack left and came back with a guitar. "Let me guess," "You left it there when you went to get a glass of water." Spike blushed and took the guitar in his claws. "You ready?" Spike looked down at the writing on his guitar,Always play from the heart~AJ. He looked back up at the same mare who had written it. "Yeah,"
