It was just like any other boring school day. Sweetie Belle sat in her desk, watching Diamond Tiara's dad-Was his name 'Filthy' or 'Rich'?- present to the class about his job. Sweetie wondered what life would be like when she was a mare someday. If only I didn't have to be stuck in this classroom all day...
Now it was time for Granny Smith to talk in front of the class. Sweetie looked over at Apple Bloom, who was chewing on her hoof, and couldn't understand why she was so upset. Sure, Granny Smith could be embarrassing at times, but she told great stories.
When she had finished telling her story the class was amazed. Sweetie belle wished she could do something as amazing as Granny Smith. She really was growing tired of being confined to a classroom.
If I could just grow up faster, then I could finally do something useful! If only I could get my cutie mark already! Someday I could be a singer...
Sweetie stopped herself. It was pointless imagining something that just wasn't going to happen any time soon.
