No school for 2 weeks. Which what can she do for those two long weeks, Ignoring that she sat down. After a couple minutes some of her friends boarded the bus as well. One, A shy pink haired girl who's bangs fell in front of her face, The other a girl with perfectly curled purple hair. Both sat down in the seat Rainbow Dash was in. "Hello Rainbow Dash" Rarity said then pulled out a mirror out her backpack. "Hey Rare, Hey Flutters" Rainbow Dash smiled "Hi Rainbow, question...What are you guys planning to do over break?" Fluttershy questioned. "Well, darling...I was planning on going to the mall as usual" Rarity applied some blush then looked at her friends "What are you planning?" "Well, I was hoping maybe we all could have a sleepover, Just to start off the break..i-if that's ok with you of course..." Fluttershy seemed excited but then her voice went into a lighter tone, shying out. "I could check in with my parents" Rainbow Dash spoke, She took out her phone from her bag then started texting her parents. "Maybe...I mean, I don't see why not but then again I may have to watch Sweetie Belle." Rarity thought about it. "If this will happen, then yay!" Fluttershy squealed The bus then drove off. The bus ride was mostly then just chatting until a topic came up with didn't have to do anything with Rainbow Dash, she decided to ignore this topic until Rarity brought her into it. "So Fluttershy, How about your friend...What was his name again? Oh yes, Big Mac was his nickname, right darling?" "Y-yeah, He's a nice and sweet guy" Fluttershy lightly blushed, and giggled to herself "Aww, Sounds like you like him!" Rarity with her natural 'crush and or romance detector' ability. Rarity just kept talking on and on about how she's going to find her prince charming though her princes charming is right in front of her everyday. Spike did like Rarity but since he is a middle schooler and Rarity is a final year in high school, It would be awkward. Fluttershy turned even more red "Q-quiet down! He is a couple seats down..." The bus then stopped at one of its stops, which let off Apple Bloom and Big Mac. Applejack was out sick today. "See ya later Fluttershy" Big Mac walked off of the bus with Apple Bloom following "Yeah! Bye Flutters!" Apple Bloom waved "Bye Sweetie Belle! Bye Scoots " She added, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo waved bye to their friend. Fluttershy heard something Apple Bloom asked before the doors closed "Hey Big Mac! Is Fluttershy gonna be your wife on day?" Apple Bloom sounded like she was teasing. Last thing Fluttershy saw before they were completely out of sight was Big Mac pausing, staring at Apple Bloom, who was laughing, with the reddest face ever. Fluttershy lightly chuckled, stuck in a daydream now. "Well. We lost Fluttershy now...I have not identified your crush yet..." Rarity smirked as Rainbow Dash gave her a stare that could turn a cockatrice into stone. "You know, I don't like this topic of 'romance'."  She mocked Rarity's voice at the word romance. " and So you will stop bothering me about it, I don't have a crush." Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. "DON'T HAVE A CRUSH!?" Rarity screamed, which startled the bus driver. "Ey! Don't be screaming like that!" Cranky yelled, and focused on driving again. "Sorry! Mr. Cranky Doodle sir!" Rarity felt embarrassed but then asked again in a loud whisper "Don't have a crush!?" "Yeah, You know Rarity, You are such a drama queen over things like these..." "Darling, You got to have someone you like?" Rarity put thought into it "What about one of those Wondercolts?" Rarity tried to remember that name. "WonderBOLTS" Rainbow Dash corrected her friend  ...and no, not really. I didn't get to know any one of them" Rainbow Dash seemed saddened at the fact shes never got to know her personal heroes. "What about that Soarin...You seem to have a couple posters of him"  Rarity asked "Those were signed by him after I got to spent a day with the Wonderbolts but he seemed kind of a flirt...I also got posters from Spitfire, Fleetfoot-" Rainbow Dash explained but then Rarity interrupted her "Not to be rude but....yeah, I don't understand a word anymore..." Rarity chuckled nervously, Rainbow Dash grumbled at the fact of Rarity's knowledge of the Wonderbolts. Her parents stood there and looked at her "W-What did I do wrong?" She seemed confused. "We got you into a flight camp that should last the break." Firefly smiled and showed her daughter the letter. "Like I need a camp to teach me how to fly! I mean I am one of th-" She started to brag when her father said something. "The Wonderbolts will be training you..." He smiled "T-The WONDERBOLTS!? Ohmygosh! I am going to be trained by one of the Wonderbolts! This is amazing! Which one is gonna train me?! Ooo! Ooo! Will this help me get into the Wonderbolts!?" Rainbow Dash began to fangirl. "Well, If you pipe down, I can give you this and you can figure out which Wonderbolt will train you." Firefly held the letter above her daughter's head "Also I think I might have lost some of my hearing..." "She must be excited" Spectrum laughed. Rainbow Dash ran up stairs into her room to read the letter. Who was she going to be trained by? Spitfire? Fleet Foot? Surprise? or maybe High Winds? There was so many choices. She ripped open the letter. Dear Rainbow Dash, We are glad to hear you are going to be seeing you at the flight camp. So the basics are you are in dorm 46 on the 3rd floor. Also you will need the normal stuff you need when going to a camp, You know shampoo, towels, blanket, PJs, etc. The information below is who are are training with and your schedule. "So...Let's see!" She continued on reading then froze "My trainer is-" DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUN!!!! //-------------------------------------------------------// Starting today, You are a Wonderbolt (trainee)! //-------------------------------------------------------// Starting today, You are a Wonderbolt (trainee)!         Rainbow Dash fell right into bed after dinner, She didn't want to be late for camp tomorrow. Trying to get all the sleep she could, She was excited for flight camp.... well except for being trained by that Wonderbolt, "How could he be a Wonderbolt!? He sometimes skips practice and shows, he must be a complete slacker...." Rainbow Dash thought to herself "forget learning anything at camp..." Rainbow Dash rolled onto her side and slowly fell asleep. She had woken up the next morning. She did everything in her daily things, brush her teeth and hair, put on fresh clothes, shower, eat breakfast, etc. Rainbow Dash was ready to go. "Ready to go?" her mother asked her Rainbow Dash looked back at the house, thinking if she had gotten everything she needed. "I am sure I got everything" She quickly shuffled threw her backpack, putting her suit case down, checking for her phone, headphones and charger. "Ok, When you're ready just meet me in the car" Firefly pointed outside to the parked car on their driveway. "Ok, I'll be right there" Rainbow Dash said as she double checks everything, ensuring she got the items needed. As she does so she got a phone call. She checked who was calling her, Thunder Spirit. She picked up the phone and held it up to her head with her shoulder as she did when she called Fluttershy, "Hello?" Rainbow Dash said,picking up her suit case and slipping on her backpack, she headed out the door. "Hey, Just wanted to call before I left, making sure the number works. This phone is kind of stupid when it comes to new numbers." Thunder Spirit said. "Really? What does it do? My friend, Twilight, could help. She's usually is good with stuff like this." Rainbow Dash opened the trunk of the car, placing her suit case in there. "It deletes numbers sometimes and- Twilight? as in Twilight Sparkle?" Thunder Spirit started answering his question but recognized the name. "Yeah, as in Twilight Sparkle, Why?" Rainbow Dash entered the car, placing her back pack on the floor of the car. "Oh, I just remembered her from last year. It's was when the 12th graders and 11th graders teamed up to make a science project." Thunder Spirit remembered. "Wait? Where are you heading?" Rainbow Dash questioned as she waved bye to her dad and brother, her mother continued on driving. "What's with you and questions?" he chuckled "I'm heading to some flight camp" "I am too! Hey, Who is your trainer?" Rainbow Dash asked yet another question "I got Soarin as a trainer" she said in a sarcastic excited tone. "I got Flare" Thunder Spirit paused for a moment "What's wrong with Soarin? I got him last year and he seemed like a great trainer." "Well, that's different for you, He's a flirt..." Rainbow Dash said, only hearing silence on the other end "Having trouble connecting those pieces?" Rainbow Dash laughed. "Say what you want, anyways I gotta go, bye." "Yeah, bye!" Rainbow Dash hung up the phone, about to listen to music, her phone rang again.....Rarity..... She picked up the phone "Rarity, I swear if this is about another guy or me having to pick you up from mall security I'm not gon-" "Who was that guy you were talking too!?" Rarity asked "How did you know I was talking to someone?" "Some app I found where you can listen to people's phone calls but NEVER MIND THAT! I want to hear about this guy" Rarity changed the topic quickly. "Thunder Spirit is just a friend and- WAIT!? YOU WERE STALKING MY PHONE CALLS?!" Rainbow Dash sounded ticked off. "Oh darling please, Stalking is not lady-like....I was simply listening in on a conversation." "Rarity.... You scare me sometimes. I would count it as stalking if the people don't know you're listening.." "Oh never mind that, Do you like this Thunder Spirit?" Rarity, who just has to bring something up like this. "N-No! Why do you always have to bring something like this up ALL the time!?" Rainbow Dash complained "It's just a question, anyways I bet you do, I can hear it in your voice." Rarity teased "I told you, I don't Rarity!" Rainbow Dash protested "If you don't then why are you so protective over it?" Rarity asked, lightly chuckling over it. "Shut up" Rainbow Dash said in a flat tone, all she heard was Rarity laughing on the other line, Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and hung up. "What was all that about?" Firefly asked "I don't wanna talk about it" Rainbow Dash mumbled, her cheeks a light red. Rainbow Dash waved goodbye as her mother drove off and picked up her bags then went to the HQ. "Hello, Welcome to our Wonderbolt training camp! I'm Dust Devil and you are?" Dust Devil greeted her, picking to Rainbow's bags. "I'm Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow Dash smiled "Come with me, I'll show you to your room!" Dust Devil says, Rainbow Dash grabbing a couple of her bags from Dust Devil, following behind. As they walked, they passed by a friend of Dust Devil, Surprise, She knew Rainbow Dash from her pen pal, Pinkie Pie. "Hi Dust-Chan! Hi Rainbow-Chan!" Surprise twirled around them then grabbed Rainbow by the arms and spun around about 4-5 time then released, jumping over to Dust Devil. "You are quite energetic" Rainbow Dash tried to regain her stance, once she does so, she looks at Surprise funny like "AND WHO ARE YOU CALLING RAINBOW-CHAN!?" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Sorry, just a warning, Surprise is a huge otaku" Dust Devil smiled as Surprise nodded in agreement. "I even named this chapter!" She bounced out of nowhere "What?" Rainbow Dash was confused, she looked around for Surprise, who popped out of nowhere again, slightly scaring Dust Devil. "You really need a bell" Dust Devil said, sarcastically checking her heart rate. "Wouldn't I look kawaii with a bell though!? then you can call me Neko-Chan!" Surprise gave a kitty face. "Ok...." Both Dust Devil and Rainbow Dash said in unison. They all arrived to Rainbow Dash's room, Surprise was chatting on about something. "and then Death just threw the little panda looking ball for having just an extra eyelash, or in his case, asymmetrical, and it blew up!" Surprise carried on about an anime she had been watching. "Yeah, that's interesting Surprise..." Dust Devil opened the door and placed Rainbow Dash's bags down. "He is so obsessed with symmetry, It's just like how Haru is crazy over swimming in water" Surprise added Dust Devil laughed and rolled her eyes "She will go on and on about anime..." "I have watched very little of anime, so I don't get much of it either..." Rainbow Dash laughed along, she placed the bags she had carried down as well. "Here's the key!" Surprise pulled the key out of her pocket and handed it to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash took the key "Thanks!" "Just take some time and unpack then in an hour just meet your trainer at the their training grounds!" Dust Devil informed her. "Ok!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ An hour later.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rainbow Dash looked at what she had unpacked, everything looked about done. She checked the time and flew out, Surprise flew out of her own room, following her. "Hey! Rainbow-Chan!" Surprise smiled "Hey Surprise, question, can you show me where Soarin's training grounds are?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Yeah sure!" Surprise started flying "You're lucky" "Why?" "He's one of our best trainers!" Surprise smiled and flew towards the training grounds, Rainbow Dash followed behind. "Really? That's gotta be a lie..." Rainbow Dash said in a tone as if Surprise was joking. "No, we heard you are one of the best flyers. Spitfire wanted to give you one of the best trainers we would have and that is Soarin." Surprise sounded serious, which was a first, Surprise was nearly never serious, so she must be telling the truth. "If he is such a amazing trainer, why did he skip training and shows sometimes?" Rainbow Dash crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "We really don't like talking about it.... but you can ask him later..." Surprise's tone turned a bit more upset. "Sorry that I brought it up then...." Rainbow Dash felt guilty for bring up something that made someone sad. "It's Ok!, You didn't know..." See ya later Rainbow-Chan!" Surprise flew off to meet up at her training ground to teach her trainees. "Rainbow-Chan?" a voice spoke up behind Rainbow Dash, slightly making her jump. "It's just a name Surprise made up." Rainbow Dash said, turning to the voice to find Soarin, "ugh, not you...." "What's wrong with me?" Soarin questioned, slightly tilting his head in confusion. "Well, for starters, you're a huge flirt..." Rainbow Dash murmured with a flat tone. "Wow, not even gonna sugar coat it?" Soarin joked, slightly rolling his eyes. "No, because I don't like you!" Rainbow Dash smiled, placing her arms behind her back and leaning her front part of her body. "Wait, why don't you like me?" Soarin gave a fake pout "Well, I can name a entire list that can wrap around Canterlot twice..." Rainbow Dash said in yet again on a flat tone. "Well, I'm not a flirt, you might think I am because of them...." Soarin pointed over to a group of girls who started squealing as he did so. "Fangirls?" "Yeah... That's a downside because they don't even want to learn how to fly and be in the Wonderbolts, then they only like me because I'm famous..." Soarin complained. "Yeah, well I didn't really ask for a life story so yeah....." "Ignoring that... What is your name? Rainbow-Chan?" Soarin snickered "It's Rainbow Dash...." "Rainbow Dash? So, Rainbow-Chan or Dashie-Chan?" "Call me either and I will break your arms off.." "O-Ok......" Soarin backed away "I'll just go start class now..." "Yeah..... Go do that..." Rainbow Dash crossed her arms. "So, I'll be flying with all of you apparently..." Soarin grumbled "Who wants to go first...?" Soarin ducked as the fangirls all started screaming. Rainbow Dash cheered "Gee....I wish that would work during my Pokemon battles...." Surprise held up her Nintendo DS "You gotta DS?" Rainbow Dash smiled "You got Animal Crossing?" "Duh! Why wouldn't I?" She held up the game cartridge. "Give me your friend code, we can talk on there" Rainbow Dash pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil. "Why..not on the phone?" Surprise, for the first time, actually made sense. "It's more fun when you see little characters" The girl pushed the piece towards her crazy friend. "True...." Blueberry rested her head on his shoulder, which he quickly backed off from "Well..uhh-" He was cut off by some snotty voice "Pfft! Please Blueberry! You wouldn't date YOU, He wants to date me!" A girl named Rain Dance walked over "What!? No! I-" Soarin answered back "Then you want to date me?" Blueberry hugged him. 'Oh sweet Celestia, make this end!'  Soarin thought, he then noticed a certain rainbow haired girl walking by, he quickly pulled her towards him. "What are you doing!?!" She yells at him "I thought I sai-!" She was quickly cut off by Soarin placed his hand over her mouth. "Shh, I need your help! Just this once" He whispers to her "Why? Should I help YOU?!"  Rainbow Dash pulled back from him He thought for a second "I'll never bother you again....I-I'll let you train by yourself if that's what you want!" "...Deal...." She spoke, not even knowing what she was going to do "Great!" He pulled Rainbow Dash into a close hug and turns to the fangirls. "I actually am dating Dash" Rainbow Dash's face went red, she was ready to scream something but then remembered  the deal, she took a deep breathe. Giving out a fake smile like one Soarin gave and said "Y-yep! It's true"" "REALLY!?!" The girls said in unison Rain Dance pushes some of the girls out of the way "You're lying" "No! We are!" Soarin said "Fine....Prove it" Rain said "How?" He asked, not knowing what was awaiting him "Kiss" She smirked "WHA-!?" "Hfm, I guess you two are dating......" Rain Dance walked away, still smirking, her friends (which are basically all the fangirls) following behind. Once they were out of sight, Soarin spoke up "See, That wasn't har-" Rainbow quickly punched him in the arm, staring at him with a stare that could have turned Nightmare Moon back into Princess Luna with just one glance. "Okay...I deserved that" he rubbed his arm. "You! YOU DESERVE TO BE FREAKIN' PUNCHED LIKE A MILLION MORE TIMES! I DIDN'T AGREE TO ANYTHING LIKE THAT!?" Rainbow Dash screamed "Well, actually....You never asked what or why...You just accepted it" Soarin flinched as she raised her hand up in a fist, but she didn't punch him. "I....I hate you but I'm not gonna hurt you"  Rainbow Dash growled "Why? You care about me, don't you?" He laughed a bit before Rainbow Dash smacked him in the back of the head. Soarin spoke, Rainbow Dash then became dead silent. This started filling Soarin with guilt "It wasn't your first kiss, was it?" Rainbow Dash was still quiet, She then got up and started walking out the door. "I'm going down to the mess hall" She angrily said "No, Dash I want to talk about this" He stepping forward and grabbing her arm. "Let go of me!" Rainbow Dash pulled away from him, in which he slipped on a random piece of clothing on the floor, laying on top of her. "S-Sorry!" He squeaked out, his face was a shade of a light pink "Just get off me you idiot!" She had almost forgot Fluttershy's sleepover, but was she going or not. Camp started tomorrow, So she would have to leave early in the morning. "Well it's true. I can't find a great house." Firefly yelled at her arguing children, well I wouldn't say children I'd say more teen and young adult, but Firefly still accuses them of still being little kids...They sure act like them still. I guess since you and Aj aren't coming, Most of the conversations will be about our crushes and romance" Fluttershy laughed, It was an ongoing joke that Rainbow Dash doesn't like romance. Her trainer is someone she won't be able to stand and she is stuck with that trainer, She stop complaining and decided to get over it. She finished packing and went down stairs. Never mind.... I guess I can get that new video game..." Prism started to drive off. "So, Who was your trainer again?" Prism joked "You know excatly who...." Rainbow Dash said with bit of anger in her voice. "OK, What is wrong with that Soarin guy...?" Prism asked "Don't even say his name, he's a huge flirt, and I am guessing a showoff. Rumored to be lazy as well..."  Rainbow Dash scoffed. "Without the flirt part, He sounds kind of like you." At the store, Rainbow Dash flew over to the book aisle, picking up a copy of 'Daring Do and the ruby sword'. Her face gleamed as she look at the cover of the book. "Rainbow Dash, The Rainbow Dash reads Daring Do?" A voice spoke Rainbow Dash jumped at the voice "N-no! I was getting it for my sister, I don't read this lame crap..." She tossed the book without care into her basket. Cringing as she heard it clank against the metal. "You are a total lier, Rainbow Dash!" The voice claimed "Listen, just shut up Gilda, I told you I don't read Daring Do!!" Rainbow Dash tried to defend herself, though it was true. She dropped the basket "Really, then why did my little sister run in screaming " Hey! Hey! Look your friend Rainbow Dash is on the new Daring Do book!" Gilda mimicked her sister's voice then laughed at her. "I- I uh...." Rainbow Dash gulped when all of the sudden a person looking about their age with a hoodie on, the hood on their head, walked over to Gilda. "Don't mess with her, If she said she doesn't read Daring Do, she doesn't read Daring Do! So just go!" The person spoke up. Rainbow Dash stood there as the person told off Gilda. Nobody had ever stood up for her against a bully. She had to learn that herself through out middle school. Gilda rolled her eyes "Fine, I don't even want to mess with you dweebs anyway." She walked along with him, waiting for her brother to call her to meet at the check out. "So, You seem pretty excited about that Daring Do book." Said the person "I-I don't read Daring D-" She spoke up "Save it, I saw your face as soon as you picked up the book. Don't worry, I like the series myself as well." He smiled " I won't tell a soul". "Thanks.....again" Rainbow Dash grinned "Hey, I didn't get your name, What is it?" "My name is Thunder Spirit.." He said "Thunder Spirit? My name is Rainbow Dash." "I could tell that girl said your name like 4 times." He joked around "Oh..yeah" Rainbow Dash felt stupid "Hey, What's that girl's problem anyways" Thunder Spirit asked " Who? Gilda? I don't know, Since I'm friends with 'dorks' as Gilda would say, She just acted like a total jerk to me." Rainbow Dash scruffed. "Wow, That's a lame reason to start bullying" Thunder Spirit stomped "I know, I mean we were cool at some flight school. "Yeah, Here's my number" he wrote it down and gave it to her. They said bye and Rainbow Dash headed up to the checkout. " What took you so long? Rainbow Dash checked out and they left.
