The hardships of friendhsip

Birds start chirping, a nice slight breeze blows over the delicate grass pasture. A calm environment, sitting quietly and still next to a steady flowing stream is a young filly. Her coat is a bright pink, her long mane going down a little past her shoulders, is a nice yellow. The filly opens her eyes slowly, showing 2 lavender purple eyes. Taking a deep breath quietly, she stays relax, calm, and as she exhales a warm smile appears across her face. After what seemed like 2 hours, she slowly and causally gets up on her 4 hoofs. She turns and walks a few feet away from the stream before she looks back one last time and admires the beauty of the calm pasture she's grown to love and attached to. After a good 10mins. of walking threw the forest smiling, the young mare walks out onto a rocky dirt road. The young mare exhales with a still happy smile on her face as she keeps walking to an average looking town, her home town as the young mare walks threw town, she makes sure to say hi to every occasional pony she sees with pure happiness on her face. She finally arrives at her home and opens the front door with excitement put into the push. The young mare walks to the closest chair, which is 13 inches away from the front door, and says aloud but not yelling "mom, I'm home". The young filly hears a few hoof steps as a fully grown mares voice calls back from upstairs.

Mom:  welcome home sweetie, where did you go to? Her mother asks curiously.

Valvantine took a few seconds to respond, wanting to keep her part in the forest a secret.

Val: I was hanging out with friends mom, nothing new

Mother: ok sweetie, I hope you all had fun, the mother said happily

Val: "We did mom" Val said going upstairs and turning doors door handle "I'll be in my room if you need me, ok?" Val said a little hastily.

Mother: "ok sweetie, I'll call you for dinner"

By this time Valvantine is already in her room and after hearing her mothers response says "ok mom", Afterward Val closes her door.

Once Val's closed her door, she goes to her desk and grabs a book off of it. After that she jumps happily onto her bed.

2 hours pass as the filly hears a few knocks at the door.

Val: I'll get it

Val trots to the door curiously and opens it to see a young colt,  Val smiles at the young colt.

Val: hi there

The young colt smiles happily back "Hi there, you must be new in town, right? The colt asks curiously

Val shakes her head yes after hearing this and chooses to stay quiet. The colt hugs her after seeing this, Val after a few seconds hugs back.

Colt: 'I'm Thunder Gust miss, wanna meet some fr-"

thunder stops his conversation and remembers about an event he was supposed to be at

Thunder: OH NO, come on Val, we're late

Thunder grabs Val's hoof and starts running towards the busy and bustling streets of the new town.

my deepest appoligies but this is the end of chapter one, I'm still making chapter 2 currently, so i'll need some time, but I hope you enjoyed reading chapter one ^U^
