When Chrysalis was caught planning another attempt on Canterlot, she had expected to be taken out and executed, not brought up to Celestia's private quarters for a personal meeting. Everything after that? She had no idea what was in store for her.
Life in the wild, not great. Life in the dungeons, even worse. However, for Chrysalis, life in the shining halls of Canterlot Castle was even more strange. Ever since Princess Celestia had her brought up for a personal meeting, she had suddenly gone from a criminal on the run to private toy of the most powerful pony in Equestria, with enough love to feed her entire hive. Of course, this all hinged on her one job: Keeping Celestia happy.
This is harder than it sounds.
