I was running for my life, I knew they were behind me, I knew I had limited time left on earth, I knew that no-one would or even could, no-one was around, but of course I was proven wrong, bolts of gold magic was being shot from in-front of me, I looked up to see a unicorn stallion, he was risking his life for mine! He turned and ran, so I followed, he ran into a abandoned house and said some words and the huge metal door that was in-front of us opened, we ran inside, a group of stallion, my mind had given up and so had I. " Contny! Who is this filly!" I guard yelled, I was silent, I was scared . " I don't know, all I know is that I saved her" He said. " Contny!" A new voice yelled. " What Archean!? Just what!" He yelled. " Don't give me that crap!" He yelled back . " Stop!" I finally yelled, everyone went silent " Thank You!" I said. " Now, who are you, young filly?" He asked, he wasn't yelling in hope to get me to talk. " I, sir, am Little Heart" I said, I was trying to act brave but failing badly. " Sir" Another voice said, but this time mare. " Blazing Pencil, what do you need?" Archean said, turning around to face her. " Hasn't Blank Space, said something about a filly named Little Heart or Heart?" She said, my face lit up at the name. " Yes he has, hasn't he?" He said, " Heart, follow Blazing" He said, I followed her and entered a room, the sign on the door said ' Caution: Unstable Pegasus Inside Proceed With Caution'. " Err you sure we should go in there?" I asked. " Your brother had a melt down after he lost someone named 'Lightning Bow'". I froze " That was my mother" She looked at me, surprised, I took it quite well, but I take it Blank didn't. " Leave me alone" My brothers voice whispered. " Blank!" I yelled jumping on his, he looked at me. " Heart? Y-your alive?" He said, hugging me. " Of course I'm, alive, your talking about the best pegasus filly in the whole of Equestria!" I laughed. " Hate to break it to you two, but Archean will need to assign Heart to a job and maybe even you Blank" She said, my brother jumped up, I walked beside him. " Heart wheres X-box, or even Dark Knight?" He asked. " X-box and Dark Knight were killed" I said trying to hold back tears. " Heart, don't cry" He said, lovingly. " Hate to interrupt your special moment, but we're here" Blazing's voice rang, the hallway echoed as our hooves hit the ground, it was creepy, but it also felt safe. "Sir" Blazing said " I have them". " Bring them in" Archean's voice said, the room had wooden shelves full of books and untidy heaps of paper, he was murmuring something. " Archean?" I said. " Yes Heart" He said not taking his eyes off the map he had in front of him. " Blazing said that we have to have jobs?" I asked, he looked away from the map. " Yes that is true," He said looking at me and my brother. " Archean, if you needed guards, why lock me in a room?!" He yelled, I stepped back. " Because you were unstable" He simply said, I heard a bang, we all looked at the door, Contny was running down the hall, bolts of pure gold magic were flying behind him and I caught a glimpse of a black shiny coat. " They have breached our lines of defense!" He yelled before being tackled by a changeling, I ran at the changeling, taking all I learnt from Dark Knight and using it. After about 30 seconds the changeling was running away, an evil laugh came echoing down the hallway, we all ran. Only to be met with 2 ponies, X-box and Queen Chrysalis, I stood back horrified, " X-x-box?" I managed to say with out crying. " Oh hello, Heart, X-box is never going in control again!" She yelled at me, I ran and hid behind the older ponies. I saw something that I would never allow, Chrysalis was trapping ponies and trying to corrupt them, " If you want them, you gonna have to go though me!" I yelled at her, my Cutie Mark glowing, she stood back. My sister ordered a few Changelings to dispose of me, I smirked and flew up dodging them, I smiled aiming for the Queen, I closed my wings falling for a second, I opened my wings gliding, I hit her on target, straight in the face, she stumbled back, giving me a glare, I landed and started running, I ran behind Contny, he started to shoot bolt of magic only for blue and hazel magic to join the gold, I looked back to see Archean and Blazing shooting the changelings. I ran under the cover of magic to the room they were protecting, I saw fillies and colts running, some yelling "Help" Or " Save us", I ran in dodging the incoming changelings, finally reaching them, " Don't panic, just attack them, we can get the older ponies to help us once we have saved them, oh and don't scream or yell" I said, we ran at groups and started to kill off the changelings that were stupid enough to stay and fight us, I glanced around and saw a filly I knew as Snowflake Storm being thrown against a wall, I ran to her, protecting her with my life, I had heard a crack, she had broken a bone, now I had to step up my game, I whistled and I saw Blank running, " She has broken something, take her to safety" I ordered, the second I finished a changeling attacked me, I wasn't ready, I hit the wall with such force, that I swear that I had broken something, but I couldn't let that stop me, I attacked the changelings, fighting for my life. I couldn't go on anymore, then a unicorn colt came a fort them off, my sister and Chrysalis had bailed back out to the world that was in ruins. " Heart!" "She only suffered a minor broken hoof" She said, looking down at the clipboard the she was levitating in front of her. "How is a broken hoof minor?!" I screamed at her. " She could have done worse" She said, sternly, she didn't look to happy. I looked around for a clock, I found one, it was 1 in the morning, I laid on my bed, looking at the roof. The roof was plain white, a few mold marks were in the corners. I heard a sigh from beside me, I turned to see a colt, his grey mane was the only thing I could see. " It's the changelings fault" he said. "Yes it is, but the only reason why we are here is because we did the most" " And" I went silent, how could I compete with that, I had no more to say.
