Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash go to a hoofball game. Rainbow is ready but Fluttershy is as scared as hoopla.

"GET READY FOR THE EQUESTRIA HOOFBALL TOURNAMENT!" said the announcer. Everypony cheered and cried out loud. "PONIES FROM ALL AROUND HAVE COME TO SEE OUR PARTICIPANTS PLAY THE TRADITIONAL, EQUESTRIA GAME OF HOOFBALL AND TONIGHT IS GONNA GET CRAZY!" Everypony cheered even more. All of the ponies who were about to play started to get ready. Especially Rainbow Dash. She was so excited to be playing in front of all of these ponies but Fluttershy was totally scared. Rainbow Dash talked her into playing with her because she wanted her on her team and Fluttershy didn't want to say no because Rainbow was so excited about this tournament. She talked about it for a month and every time she did, she would almost pee herself just from the excitement. She said the Wonderbolts were going to be there, performing and watching. That's what made her the most excited because she could finally get a chance to show off her skills in flying and other cool skills she had.

The tournament was about to start and the announcer was about to announce who was participating from Ponyville after he announced the others. "OKAY! GET READY FOR THE PONYVILLE PARTICIPANTS! INTRODUCING: RAINBOW DASH!" The crowd cheered loudly as Rainbow Dash flew out and held up her hooves into the air. "RAINBOW DASH! RAINBOW DASH!" screamed the audience. "AND OUR NEXT PARTICIPANT: FLUTTERSHY!" the crowd cheered for Fluttershy as she flew out. She kept a little crunched in but flew out and landed next to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow turned to wink at her. Fluttershy gave a fake smile. "AND INTRODUCING BULK BICEPS! OUR LAST PARTICIPANT FROM PONYVILLE!" the crowd cheered. Rainbow Dash froze for a second. She thought there were more, where are the others?

"UNFORTUNATELY, THE OTHERS COULD NOT MAKE IT TODAY! BUT 3 IS ENOUGH!" said the announcer. Rainbow Dash did not think three was enough. The other teams had 5-7 ponies on their team. This meant that Rainbow Dash had to play harder. She believed with all her might that she could win and she believed in Fluttershy too. Her friends were in the audience cheering them on and the Wonderbolts were watching so she needed to be as slick as she could be.

"OKAY! NOW THAT WE ANNOUNCED ALL OF OUR PARTICIPANTS! LET'S PLAY!" Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps trotted out onto the field and got into position. The audience screamed with excitement. Rainbow swore that she heard Pinkie Pie in the audience the most screaming:

"Work it Dashie! Flaunt it Flutters! Build it Biceps!"

But Rainbow Dash was in deep focus. Once everypony was into position, one of the players yelled: "ONE, TWO, THREE, HIKE!" and everypony started to run everywhere. Rainbow Dash was chasing after the other pony from Baltimare who had the ball. Fluttershy stood there, not knowing what to do. A few ponies bumped her. Rainbow Dash gestured her to move somewhere and keep the other players from tackling on her. So Fluttershy started to follow Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy closed her eyes and she flew when suddenly she felt something in her hooves. She opened her eyes and looked down.

It was the hoofball.

She stopped in her tracks and she could see Rainbow Dash gesturing her to run but it was to late and she was tackled! Just kidding. The pony stopped and took the hoofball from her with a smile. Rainbow Dash face hoofed. Fluttershy squeed.

Game 1: Baltimare : 18 Ponyville: 18

"I, 2, 3, HIKE!" the ball was thrown but right into Bulks face."OH! AND BULK BICEPS TAKES A HOOFBALL TO THE FACE! I WONDER IF HE'S OKAY. BUT WHO CARES!"  Fluttershy went to see if Bulk was okay but was tackled! Just kidding. The other players tackled Bulk Biceps and took the hoofball out of his face. They flew across the field and threw the ball. The ball, unfortunately landed in the middle of the field. The players looked at it. They stood there...

"LOOKS LIKE THE PLAYERS ARE AT WAR FOR THE BALL!"

Just waiting for the right moment the players stood there...

Who will get the ball?

Who will score the point?

Who will be the brave enough pony to step up?

Rainbow took one step... the others watched as she did. They flinched when she took another.

The other pony from Manehattan took one step so Rainbow Dash took another. The other ponies smirked. Fluttershy took a step back... so did Bulk.

The Baltimare ponies took a giant step... Rainbow Dash took a giant-er step. She smirked, with a glare in her eye and pride and confidence in her heart that she will get that ball!

She held her head forward to get a good look at the team. She shot them a sly look.

Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps looked at each other in fear. Fluttershy was chewing on Bulk's fingernails and Bulk Biceps was chewing on Fluttershy's fingernails.

Rainbow ignored the chattering. Fluttershy stared to feel guilty and useless. She was standing behind the action and not taking part, she started to think it was time for her to stand up. She turned to Bulk Biceps and Bulk Biceps turned to her, with the fear slowly wiping off of his face, he knew what Fluttershy was thinking.

Then one peach colored pony took a step forward towards the ball, eyeing Rainbow Dash while the others stood back. "OH! YORKIE'S GOING FOR THE BALL!" said the announcer.

Rainbow Dash faced Yorkie. The ponies behind Yorkie were shaking their plots and making crazy faces at Rainbow and her team.

Bulk Biceps and Fluttershy stood behind Rainbow in fear but then Fluttershy was tackled! Just kidding.

Yorkie flinched at Rainbow Dash. Dash knew she had to take this pony down.

There was much silence. Even in the crowd. Nothing was happening. It was so quiet you could hear a Twilicepter drop. Most ponies were drawn into suspense and waiting for a surprise. The announcer just wasn't having it.

"IT'S A FOURTY MINUTE SHOW GUYS!"

Somepony had to take the ball but who? Suddenly, Rainbow Dash saw Fluttershy trot up beside her, looking confident.

The Baltimare ponies stopped to look. Confidence?

Next came Bulk, as confident and proud as ever to be from Ponyville, standing next to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Rainbow smiled at them and gestured the both to get the ball. Then...

Both teams charged!

One tackling another, ones plot in another's face, each helmet banging against the ground and other players. There was so much commotion, nopony could tell who got the ball. The group of ponies on the field moved towards the end line. Whoever had the ball would get their team a touchdown!

"CAN ANYPONY TELL WHO HAS THE BALL!? OKAY EVERYPONY STOP!"

Everypony stopped. The coach pony ran over to the big group. He brushed through the crowd and saw that Fluttershy had her hoof on the hoofball.

The coach pony blew the whistle. "TOUCHDOWN FOR TEAM PONYVILLE!" Everypony cheered. Ponyville had won! Everypony hugged and slapped each other. Bulk Biceps picked up Fluttershy and gave her a big humungous hug and Rainbow Dash padded Fluttershy on the back and slapped her on the helmet.

"PONYVILLE! PONYVILLE! PONYVILLE!" screamed the crowd. The Baltimare team decided to be good sports and shake hands with Ponyville. Once everypony got their water and snacks everything ended well.

Everypony went home.
