Fallout Equestria: Second Chance

War... war never changes, Equestria was a peaceful land until trade disagreements caused them to go to war when all was over Equestria was a barren wasteland and surviving ponies were underground.  When they came out they starting building civilization but it was a shadow of the peaceful nation used to be.  Some preformed cannibalistic, acts some raped, some stole, and some preformed gruesome acts of violence but like before different factions of ponies warred.  A lot of ponies gave up hope because war...  war never changes but just when hope was lost a hero appeared out of Stable 02 the Stable Dweller or Littlepip she always did better but eventually she sacrificed herself for the betterment of pony kind.  This is where our story takes place thirteen years after the Stable Dweller in Freeside a slum outside of New Pegasus.

But I guess I should tell you the history of New Pegasus.  Pre-war it was Las Pegasus a huge hub for gamblers luckily the strips owner Mr. House protected it when the bombs fell.  He made a deal with three tribe leaders around the new waste and they became the three families The Omerta's, Chairmen, and White Hoof Society.  Now that the NCR's been established they also made a deal with Mr. House although I don't have the specifics on that one but now they control Hoofer Dam. But sadly soon after that Caesar's Legion soon came a zebra remnant led by a new Caesar but, so far the NCR has held them back and that's where we are now.

Ugh this is so boring why does my family leave so often, fuck me it's boring if I have to wait another hour I swear I'll shoot myself with my .45.  Waiting, waiting, and more fucking waiting when suddenly I heard a quiet thump then another then a louder one then a crack then the splintering of my door being rammed open.  I quickly grabbed my weapons a .45 semi automatic pistol and a combat knife then I looked at how many there were I was on the second floor and there were two so I had the advantage and a plan.  I hopped on the railing both of them looked up  then I jumped down stabbed one in the bottom of his neck and at the same time shot the other in the same place then I checked their armor and almost fainted when I saw it said NCR.

"The New Canterlot Republic why is it the first 'invaders' I kill belong to one of the most powerful armies in the Neighvada." I whined oh Celestia have mercy I needed to run before they hunted after me so, I packed everything important and walked out of my house... to find myself surrounded by troopers.  A trooper walked up looked inside and told me "You've killed two troops so you have two choices join us in a project or get executed on the spot." So what choice did I have I followed them.

We walked up to the gates of New Pegasus when I asked "Why would you need a 12 year old foal." One answered back almost instantly with "We hardly have enough soldiers so, if we train foals they get their training earlier and can get their skills trained more more before we send them out." Well were they literally raiding houses for foals, it seemed so but it was weird they didn't own New Pegasus or the slums around it now that I think about it I looked around at the wonder of New Pegasus but we went past all the casinos to get to the NCR Embassy inside the city.

I sat in front of a NCR ambassador luckily he spoke first "What are you" I answered simply with "A hippogriff."  As soon as he asked "You're half zebra?" I swore I would kill him but, I still answered "yes." He then went through telling me I would go to Junction Town for training but would return afterword training would take a month at most I didn't question why so little time though so I was headed for Junction Town immediately it was morning after all.

The only thing interesting  about this ride was the scenery  but, how boring could this be but I was fed and had a place to sleep so I was fine then I heard someone  well "We're here!" I was so happy I got  out to see a griffin wit a scar running down her face staring at me the same pony as before explained "This is Gawdyna Grimfeathers leader of the NCR."

Then she spoke "So you're Bright Eyes" she looked at the trooper "He killed two of our fucking troopers are you kidding me!" He answered back with "No, one had been stabbed in the throat the other shot in the throat." Gawdyna the replied to THAT was "Well damn c'mon your going to be staying with us for a while."

4 Years Later

I stepped back out into Freeside and I muttered the only thing I could under my breath "It's great to be home."
